  1. Yes, they were really interesting to read. A fair amount more short term patient storylines than I expected. No worries, I often check this thread anyway.
  2. Not only pregnant but actually in the middle of a self-induced abortion gone wrong - Phil was rushing her to General Hospital. I (and others here) only found that particular part of the story due to Depboy's summaries.
  3. Leticia was the first victim of the text message killer (Diego).
  4. Gee that makes them look like illicit lovers rather than mother and son
  5. Oh @DRW50 I remember once you saying that you wished more actors did exit interviews when they left the show. Ria Vandervis actually did one: https://www.nzherald.co.nz/lifestyle/shortland-street-star-ria-vandervis-on-total-burnout-and-new-beginnings/7IJUOSAYWNHF3A3CLRBIZ2PU3Y/
  6. I see everybody has already mentioned the 20 second long scenes but gee, the ones with Brad at the gym were especially bad yesterday with how short they were. I also had to go back and check the Drew and Jordan scenes because Brad and his friend were there at the gym at the same time as Drew and Jordan (Brad must've left to go to the hospital before Curtus turned up) but there was very little crossover so initially it looked to me like somebody had made an oopsie with editing/continuity and placed two sets of characters on the same set at the same time. But on second look it turned out Brad and his friend were in the background of Drew and Jordan's scenes. It's just that Brad's scenes were soooo short, it looked like Drew and Jordan weren't there at all (and it wouldn't surprise me if there actors actually weren't lol and Brad's scenes were inserted later).
  7. Ugh, as others have said, the writing for Tracy today was awful. I did enjoy some of the Q scenes however. And I actually liked the ending of the episode with Jack and Valentin.
  8. Well my earlier prediction about Jason having the kids was totally wrong but I'm glad he was able to broker a solution That Coffee cup with Dante and Tracy near the beginning of the episode was so obviously empty. It did feel like a bit of a cop-out to show Cody punching Lucky and then picking up after it was all over. Cyrus' spate of mercy killings being about his mother does make some sense - even if a little cliched. I do look forward to learning the reasoning behind Sam and Dex's death though because as Liz and Lucky noted, they weren't terminally ill, or suffering grave injuries like Michael.
  9. The grounds are apparently crawling with security, although unlike the copious bodyguards that Sonny has, we never see them (and where they were when Sonny killed Jagger is anyone's guess). The only person we usually see is Yuri, who was originally Valentin's man but stayed on after Valentin left the mansion three years ago (possibly because - as it was heavily hinted though I don't think confirmed - he was sleeping with Monica back then, though he is supposed to be with Terry now). Heck, I don't think we ever saw the nanny until Tuesday's episode.
  10. That was part of "murder week" during the 2004 Athens Olympics when the show devoted a whole week to a storyline where the Q's, Heather, the current teens at the time (Georgie, Dillon, Brook Lynn, Lucas, Sage and Trent), Felicia (who was judging who'd get Lila's inheritance), Faith (who was a fugitive at the time and being hidden by Justus), Nikolas (who was also a fugitive and being hidden by Emily after having been rescued from a mental institution that Helena had put him in, due to his amnesia and belief that he was Connor Bishop earlier in the year) were all trapped in the mansion and its grounds during a storm. It was meant to attract viewers from Days of Our Lives, which was on hiatus for the Olympics (and had of course had recently had the Salem Stalker storyline with the Melaswen part still playing out at the time). Notably, Sonny, Carly and Jason did not appear that week despite having been almost a daily presence for at least the past two years and the whole week was devoted to the murder storyline. In the end, Sage and Trent were murdered and Mary Bishop - the real Connor Bishop's "widow" (because Connor later turned out to be alive) was the killer. Yes, in 2007 John was in a hit and run and presumed dead, then came back with the robotic personality which lasted until Drake and Deidre were let go in 2009.
  11. Yes, that's my theory too...On Thursday's episode Tracy kept Carly away from both Monica and the kids with excuses so I think that after their emotional rapprochement on Wednesday, Jason and Tracy colluded to move the kids overnight (Thursday's episode was a new day) and possibly Monica too (with the unseen but still around Yuri as a decoy guarding her door).
  12. Patrick Mulcahey basically put them together I believe. It started off last April with Stella haranguing Tracy into having a medical physical and while Tracy waited for her appointment she and Stella had coffee and ended up talking Tracy later had another conversation with Stella after Gregory died. Then a conversation at Gregory's memorial park bench (on location in that park GH uses each summer) when Stella's former love Marcus passed away (he'd been on the show years earlier - around 2018 - involved in a storyline where his wife who had alzheimer's fell in love with Sonny's dad Mike who also had alzheimer's) And finally another conversation at Gregory's bench when Stella and Tracy talked about Cody.
  13. Pure speculation but Anyway, I enjoyed this episode more than Thursday's but geez will Maxie finally hurry up and tell Lulu about the Bailey scheme with Brook-Lyn. This is the second time when she's been like "Oh I'll tell you all about what happened with Peter August later." I liked Jordan today too.
  14. Today's episode was somewhat disappointing compared to the past couple of days, but Tracy still the highlight.
  15. Erika Slezak has apparently been working on a film, Song Sung Blue which started production back in October. I'm guessing probably a small role with one or two scenes but it's a good sign that she could be ready to start working more regularly again.
  16. I literally had to blow my nose just now as a result of the episode
  17. Oh my! Jason choose Tracy (well Monica really) over Sonny regarding the kids - and she hugged him and he actually reciprocated. And Tracy's appeals really did win him over too, judging by the way they were staring into each other's eyes towards the end. And then of course poor Sonny's having heart palpitations outside after leaving. Of course, Sonny's scenes with Tracy before Jason arrived were also good too. On the other side of town unfortunately Joss has blown it already, having - as Anna said - tipped off Cyrus to where he should cover his tracks. I liked the scenes between Drew and Alexis regarding Scout Felicia had plenty to do, firstly trying to calm Carly and Jason down and later with Emma at the bar. The bar scenes were ok too, though I'm annoyed Cody lost all of his money, he really shouldn't have been so stupid. And I enjoyed the Liz/Lucky scenes, first with Cyrus and later on their own.
  18. I really enjoyed today's episode Joss and Lucky exchanging notes on Cyrus and later Lucky meeting with Lucas and Liz to go over what they know about the mystery. Drew vs Nina and also Willow vs Sasha (that "because things didn't work out with your cousin" was actually quite a burn from someone who has basically been a piece of milquetoast up until now lol) But the absolute star of today's show was Tracy and her decision to refuse to hand over Wiley and Amelia to Willow's custody, which was set up perfectly in the previous episode with Tracy expressing her concerns about Monica and saying that she would keep the next generation of Quartermaines safe at all costs.
  19. Tbf Wiley is 6 now - possibly more if he's been SORASed. He was born only a few months after James but they don't show him as nearly as often. Edit: Just checked and both Wiley and James are played by 9 year olds.
  20. @Liberty City Oh yes, I see that a couple of commenters at the time thought that perhaps a set-dresser had confused Toadie's initial with Ryan's, which would make the most sense. https://www.neighboursfans.com/forum/topic/50735-episode-7341-monday-11th-april-2016/ (I dunno if this link works for non-members) Yes, I thought that was a bit odd myself
  21. Which episode number? Because it'd be interesting to go see if anyone at Neighboursfans picked up on it in the episode threads at the time.
  22. I also liked the one at the Triple L diner with Bryan Ferry's version of "Will You Love Me tomorrow" which kicked off Luke and Laura's return.
  23. Mostly agreed, although I didn't like 96. And I generally liked the show up until around 2021, although problems with it were definitely growing after 2018.
  24. I only just watched now, but I think the logic was about getting a succession plan in place just in case Sonny suddenly croaks it for any reason. They mentioned Nixon Falls and all the drama that happened then with Carly and Jason having been unprepared to take over - Sonny doesn't want that sort of situation to happen again.
  25. That's actually a scene taken from the first episode of Night Shift where the paramedics were affected by a gas leak in the ambulance and they had a Jane Doe in the back who was continually teased as Brenda - she was badly burned after someone lit a cigarette and blew up the ambulance https://youtu.be/gVzcMzf6M0M?si=mg2zASgs4sLgIN2-&t=206
