  1. Very intriguing stuff, hooked. Especially with the Monica scenes. Of course, this makes me a bit more concerned for her, but if LC IS going out, looks like she's going out with a bang. I'm still hoping she's NOT going out, though. Her gravitas is desperately needed with this mostly-younger cast.

But I wonder if they're going to take the opportunity to let her do more scenes with SD. That would be a thing of beauty. Oh, and my guess is that you asked for the Monica info? If so, I thank you very much.

Also glad to know Tracy won't be unconscious while Luke is stepping it up for her. Better to appreciate it when you can see it happen, eh?

  2. I won't lie, y'all. This is sounding better and better all the time. Not just for our girl but overall.

I'm excited to see what happens. But worried for Monica's sake, though. hooked, do you post over there? If so, can you ask about Monica's fate? That promo is pretty intense.

  3. I've only needed to put one ignore, and life is much nicer.

If they weren't so obnoxious about it, I'd fell sorry for the LnL/ewcbo fans who are grasping at anything for a sign that 'the angel' is coming back. Oh well....

I'm not picking on LnL fans exclusively or anything. Basically, it's anyone who is unwilling to have a true discussion and just spews their own garbage out has my finger itchy. I swear, Lulu's not my favorite character of all time or anything, but it bugs the crap out of me when I see her referred to as "Shrewlu" when I think she's 10 times more interesting than her cinder block of a boyfriend. I figure if you can't discuss this fictional realm without calling names, then I don't wanna read ya. :)

One can only hope that we get some Q time this week. Heh - I'm wondering if the world will implode if Leslie Charleson does more than 10 episodes this year.

Feel cheated about Bobbie today, btw. I know the spoiler was ambiguously worded so it doesn't necessarily say we'd see her, but I was disappointed nonetheless.

  4. Hey all...

quick question - is anyone here going to Fan Club Weekend in July?

Wish I could, but nope - I have to save money bigtime this year. I'll be more than happy to live vicariously through those of you who are lucky enough, though.

Re: the Match Game clips, who was it that posted the Family Feud clips? Maybe he'd accept those as a trade-off if the OP feels like making a trade.

Anyone up for chat for a few?

    http://www.chatzy.com/886591793631

ETA: I stayed in about 30 minutes but no one is there - post if y'all feel like it. I'll probably be up for another couple of hours.

  5. And BTW---I dont think TG was on 15 times in December. Was he really on 5 more episodes than JE? I only recall maybe one to two max--the one where he had scenes with sonny and alexis, and the one where he had scenes with TC, JMB and GV I think.

    I don't recall five....

Five is accurate - there was the episode where he saw Robert on the docks and they found Sasha's body, and then there were the two Scorpio-Drake wedding episodes. With the two you mentioned above, that's five more.

Loving all these clips, guys. Thanks to everyone who's posting them.

  6. funny, I made a few caps of Luke for you. This is just a small handful and I focused on intense gazes and that adorable little smile that makes your stomach flip (projecting much? Nah, not me.).

The larger images are higher res pictures, but the downside is they have the SOAPnet logo featured prominently. The smaller pix are lower res and a bit darker but they were capped from ABC so the logo isn't as prominent, if there at all.

If you have special requests that you don't see here, lemme know and I'll find that moment and cap it for you from either source. And as of tomorrow, I'll have my PhotoShop back so I can play around and tone out some of the images even more. These are just straight-up caps with no embellishment.

To save everyone's screens, I've posted them in my fic journal on Livejournal.

    http://gazerfic.livejournal.com/8068.html

And Ms. Q, THANK YOU for the clips. You guys are just awesome.

ETA: Oh, is anyone up for chat? I just opened the new room if you're interested...

  7. Thanks for the clips, halee. Much appreciated.

Lisa, your grandson, who I could have easily mistaken as your son, is a cutie. So adorable!

hooked, your new avi rocks the casbah. Tell your LuSam friend that he/she does great work.

Sorry I missed you guys last night in chat. I've been getting so sleepy so early these days...

ETA: OK, and now I'm staring hypnotically at hooked's new avi. I'd complain about it being hypnotic if it wasn't so darned entertaining and full of win. :)

  8. Halee, glad I could help! I hope you enjoyed them as much as I did.

Remos, thanks for the fic. Good stuff.

And now here's where I beg for clips. I'm looking for lunacy clips from the beginning of 2006 up until the vow renewal that wasn't (around April, I think?). There's just so much from that time period I haven't seen. Can anyone help me out? Wouldn't want them all at once, obviously... LOL

Everybody have a good NYE? Hubby and I are busting out the black-eyed peas today for good fortune.

  9. There was a quick soaps Q&A in the National Ledger yesterday that had quotes from JE. They're probably old (I've seen her make similar comments before), but figured I'd post the link anyway.

Survived the inlaws. Now I just have to make it through this truncated work week. But the big day is Tuesday for us, so hurrah!

Incidentally, I'm a bit miffed that Monica got left off that poll. I voted for our girl but didn't place a second vote in protest.

  10. Vids and fic and spoilers! A gal could get spoiled by all of this good stuff. Thanks for everyone providing it - you guys are awesome.

Really enjoyed the episode today. How is that even with just a few seconds screentime, TG and TR can make that old comfortable magic click in so easily? I do love the two of them onscreen together.

Hope everyone had a merry merry and all that. Hubby and I spent most of the day finishing up our shopping since we won't see our families until this coming weekend. Now I'm exhausted, and I still have my house to clean before company comes in.

  11. I just tried, Star. The voicemail box is full. I hope they get plenty of positive feedback and keep giving us this type of writing. They obviously have the talent, they just need the will and vision.

I just left a comment at ABC.com here:

    http://abc.go.com/site/contactus.html

It has a place specifically for selecting if your comment is for General Hospital. There's a character limitation, but I managed to use every single character up. Hee! All positive things, of course - from what I hear, they more or less disregard tirades, rants or negatively-worded comments. They're looking for what hits people's happy.

I'm about to record the SOAPnet repeat so I can have it on tape. I watch GH online through CaziGirl's channel, so I want this one to have in my VCR/DVD player.

I think I'll add next week's NYE scene right behind it. SCORE!

  12. Well I just spent almost 5 hours next to a screaming baby on very hot plane flight. We sat for an hour on the runway before we took off and I missed my connection. I am now sitting in the Atlanta airport...hopefully for only 90 minutes until I get another flight to Illinois!!!!!

    Bah Hum Bug!

Wonder who's watching Luke & Tracy?

Ah, Hartsfield International. It used to be my second home before they promoted me up the food chain. If you're stuck in an airport, it's a good one to be stuck in, at least.

Seems like the holiday glee has us in a bit of a spoiler drought. But I can hardly wait for everything this week!

  13. Flip Flops are year round here and even on Christmas some years. This might be one of them. We don't know anything about "white christmases" all we have are palm trees and the beaches. You know the normal things in life during the holidays. :P

What funny said. My Weather Channel desktop icon tells me it's 66 degrees here right now. But bwahahahahaha! My VLC media player icon, which is normally an orange traffic cone-looking thing, apparently has a Santa hat for the holidays. Too cute.

Y'all keep your fingers crossed for me tomorrow morning - doing something that will hopefully pan out into good things at the beginning of the new year.

And OMG, LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing Robert again. I was grinning ear to ear today watching. Seeing Robert, Anna and Robin all in one place just hits a big happy button for me. This holiday season on GH is just so full of glee that I'm already feeling the warm and fuzzy.

ETA: Oh, and LadyA, glad you enjoyed the link! I'm a fan of Hugo and Larry Ashton, too, so it was AWESOME seeing someone interview him. I had just looked him up on IMDB last week and was dismayed to see that there wasn't much out there on him, so it was pretty great timing when this interview showed up.

  14. This is the list Hooked was talking about..... very Film Noir, actually....

    Jan 5......Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer

    Jan 12....Gaslight

    Jan 19....The Borgia Stick

    Jan 26....Back Street

    Feb 2....Madame X

    Feb 9....Charade

    Feb 16....Laura

    Feb 23....The Maltese Falcon

    Mar 2....LA Confidential

    Mar 9....Bugsy

    Mar 16...Pulp Fiction

    Mar 23...The Sting

Noir, indeed. There are some great films on that list there. And they all have a fairly common thread in them, too - people who are in over their heads when something big happens around them and usually involving a crime syndicate of some sort. Looks like this could be where (casting spoiler and speculation ahead)

Natalia Livingston's return comes into play - Gaslighting someone, maybe, by taking advantage of her resemblance to Emily to get to Jason? That definitely ties in with "Laura" as well, with the mistaken identity. And then there's "Pulp Fiction," where one of the strongest plot threads is the redemption of a character who's had way too much blood on his hands.

The way I'm reading this, I think this is going to be a very Jason-heavy storyline. Makes me wonder if either Steve Burton or Maurice Bernard is one of the longtime vets rumored to be leaving in the spring. After all, The Sting is about a man who is trying to avenge his former partner's death, no?

Can't wait to see what they have in store for Tracy and Luke. And holy cow, just CANNOT wait for Dec. 23 - Monica was great the last two days, and I really REALLY can't wait to see LC and SD interacting together again onscreen.
