Grant: Son I’m glad you asked to have dinner with me.
Kirkland: Of course dad.
Grant: Is Charlie working tonight?
Kirkland: No she’s off, in fact when we’re married, she won’t have to work here anymore.
Hostess: Harrison table for three?
Kirkland: Yes.
Grant: Oh Charlie’s joining us tonight huh?
Kirkland: We’re waiting for one more person.
The elevator opens, and out walks Vicky.

AT THE HUDSONS…Sharlene is in the living room and John
walks in.
John: How you feelin’?
Sharlene: I’m fine.
John: You know what I mean.
Sharlene: You act as though I’ve never been to therapy before.
John: You’ve never been to an institution before.
Sharlene: So you arbitrarily decided that I would need to go to a psychiatric hospital without even consulting me?
John: You had a relapse, and you were going to be arrested.
Sharlene: I never agreed to this!
John: This is going to help you get integrated once and for all.
Sharlene: YOU are committing me!
John: It wasn’t Sharly this time! People were hurt and a man was murdered.
Gregory: Dad did I hear right? You had mom committed? What the hell is wrong with you?

BAY CITY CENTER
Frankie and Charlie
are walking slowly and talking…
Frankie: So have you thought about what you wanted for your wedding?
Charlie: Since I was a little girl. You don’t remember?
Frankie: You’ve grown up a lot since then honey. Maybe some of your ideas have changed.
Charlie: Not too much mom.
Frankie: I remember you said that you wanted a violet color scheme. You wanted all your bridesmaids to wear purple, and you wanted ruffle decorations all around the church.
Charlie: We...uh...probably won’t do the ruffles.
Frankie: But I didn’t forget what you wanted for your wedding.
Charlie: You know what else I want?
Frankie: What is that baby?
Charlie: I want you and dad to work out your differences and get back together.
Frankie: It’s not that simple.
Charlie: I know you’re bummed out about Christy not being granted parole, but it doesn’t mean you two can’t come to a compromise. I know you and dad still love each other.

Grant, Vicky and Kirkland are having dinner...
Kirkland: It was good wasn’t it?
Vicky: Yeah it was great.
Grant: Kirkland may I have a word with you please?
Vicky: I know whatcha gonna say Grant. Why did our son invite me to dinner knowing that you’d be here. In fact that’s a good question Kirkland. Why DID you invite me to dinner when you knew Grant was gonna be here?
Kirkland: Wow my parents can’t even be civil during dinner with their own son.
Grant: Victoria’s the one who can’t be cordial. I mean are you still angry about everything that happened while Kirkland was a little boy?
Vicky: No I’m past all that, but it doesn’t mean I will forget.
Grant: I mean you want us to forget everything YOU’VE done? I mean you didn’t even know if Steven’s father was Jake or Jamie? Hell you didn’t even know that I was Kirkland’s father! It took a paternity test to confirm it!
Kirkland slams down his fork.
Kirkland: Will you two stop it! I knew this was a bad idea! Mom I wanted us to have dinner because I wanted to tell you first that I was getting married, and second I wanted you both to be a big part of my wedding.
Vicky: You’re marrying Charlie?
Kirkland: Yes.
Grant: And I already knew about it.
Vicky: Wait a minute! You told Grant before you told me? I’m your mother!
Kirkland: Who cares who I told first? Look obviously this wasn’t a good idea. I’ll meet with you both separately. Thanks for dinner.
Vicky: Wait, honey, come back. Kirkland!
Grant: Way to go Victoria.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
John: Gregory you stay out of this.
Sharlene: It’s okay honey. I’m gonna be fine.
Gregory: All he’s ever done is hurt you mom, and I’m not gonna let it happen again!
John: I love your mother and I would never EVER try to hurt her!
Gregory: Bull!
Sharlene: Gregory that’s enough! Don’t talk to your father that way. I...I don’t remember anything that happened after I went for a drive.
Gregory: He didn’t have to you have you committed!
Sharlene: It may be the best thing for me. Besides, your cousin is gonna be my therapist.
Gregory: I’m gonna be there for you mom. Every step of the way.
Gregory looks at John.
Gregory: And I’m gonna protect you, too.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Frankie: I’m always gonna love your father.
Charlie: I’m not talking about friendship. You two still have the love that I grew up seeing.
Frankie: Charlie…
Charlie: Mom work things out with dad. You know you want to. I mean, he gave me his blessing.
Frankie: He did?
Charlie: Yes. He’s gonna give me away at my wedding.
Frankie: That’s….that’s great.
Charlie: I guess with the Christy thing behind him, I guess he had a change of heart.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Grant walks in his house, and is shocked by what he sees.
Grant: What the….no.
He runs directly to his open safe, and notices that the contents are gone.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Christy whispers something to the guard, who exits and waits behind a door. Christy sits down, and greets her visitor, the coffee shop barista
Christy: Eric, I’m so glad to see you! Did you do it?
Eric: Yep. I got everything out of there. It wasn’t easy though.
Christy: Oh my sweet boy. You sure know how to make your mama proud.
