Maddie finds Heath at Java and confronts him about his feelings for her. Heath finally admits that he never stopped loving her and hopes that Maddie will give him a second chance. Across town, Emma tells Luke that he must tell this girl his feelings, but Luke refuses, saying that she would never give him the time of day. Holden finds Carly outside the house and she tells him of Jack's attitude and how he has gotten to the point where he can't even look at his own badge. Holden informs a shocked Carly about Hal and the two wonder how they'll break the news to Jack. Barbara goes in for her arraignment and is shocked to see the face of the judge. Cass, himself, begins to say something, but Barbara warns him that if he utters a word, James's plan...whatever that may be...will be foiled...and he will take it all out on either her, Paul, a member of her family, or possibly even Cass and his family. Lisa finds Roxie at Fashions and immediately confronts her. Roxie, shocked at how Lisa got her information, begs for Lisa to give her a chance to explain. Lisa tells her that she has exactly two minutes and she's already wasted one of those asking for permission to speak.
