1. The first question of this round is a “yes” or “no” question. Did Kim Zimmer win for the year she did the infamous “Slut of Springfield” scene in August 1984?

Answer:No. However she won for the following year.

2. What actress won for her role on GL as Supporting Actress for the year 1992-1993, yet months before she had been given the pink slip from her boss Jill Farren Phelps?

Hint: The role she played was previously held by Ellen Dolan of ATWT.

Answer: Ellen Parker

Answer: In the 30+ year history of the Daytime Emmy's, Guiding Light has won a total of 2 Emmys for Outstanding Daytime Series. Both while under the guidance of Douglas Marland and Allen Potter. For the years 1979-1980, and 1981-1980, GL won for Outstanding Daytime Series.

    1. I want to say NO! I think I remember KZ mentioning that most people thought she won for that scene, but it in reality she was only in that particular episode that once and leading up to it, which wouldn't have been enough. Final answer NO!
