"Salem Lives"

-Victor asks Bo if he is sure he wants to join him. Bo says he has to. Things can't go on the way they are and justice needs to be served even if it means bending the law. Victor insists they are going to be doing more then bending the law. He asks Bo if he is willing to isolate himself from his family and friends and push them away like Victor has in an effort to protect them in case of retaliation. Bo says he will do what he must. Seeing what happened to Chelsea and the island debacle-he realizes now that things have gotten out of hand and need to be stopped. Victor agrees and asks Bo again if he is sure he wants to do this. Bo says he is and that there is no going back. They shake on it. Victor then tells Bo that he should move in with him. Bo agrees and says it brings back old memories. Victor laughs and urges him to move in right away. Bo leaves to get his stuff as Victor pours some brandy and informs Nico of what is going on. Nico mentions that Victor seems happy. Victor says he is-not only will he get his revenge and destroy his enemies but this might also bring his son and him together.

-Maggie asks Hope what she can do for her. Hope knows that Maggie and Victor have become good friends and is hoping that she can talk Victor into discouraging Bo from taking the law into his own hands. She is so worried about him and can't think of anything else to do. Maggie doesn't know if that will work or if Victor will go for it but she says she will try. Hope thanks her and asks how she is doing. Maggie says she would rather not talk about it and needs to get going. Hope thanks her for her help and hopes she feels better. Maggie returns to Victor's with suitcase and notices how happy she is. She asks him what is going on. Victor informs her that Bo is moving in and Maggie congradulates Victor as Bo and him can bond and get closer. Victor agrees. Maggie wonders how Hope will react to this. She asks Victor if this means Bo and him are working together on going after Stefano and other threats to Salem. Victor says Bo needs a place to stay and that is all there really is to it. Maggie goes upstairs to pack as Victor vows to make sure Maggie doesn't interfere and mess things up. Meanwhile, Hope returns home to find Bo packing his things. She asks what is going on. Bo says he came to pick up the rest of his things as he has found a place to live. Hope thought he was just going to stay with Caroline. Bo says plans have changed. Hope asks where she can find him now. Bo doesn't answer and tells Hope he doesn't want to tell her at the moment and goes upstairs to finish packing. Hope is stunned and worried about what is going on.

-Chelsea and Abby watch Cassie and Max dancing on the TV. Abby tries to suggest it's nothing but Chelsea tells Abby to look at them. She told Abby that Max is in to girls like that who will give him what he wants. Abby tells Chelsea to stop acting like Max wants a whore. Chelsea says that Max wants a girl who will put out for him and give him what he needs, just like every other guy. Chelsea admits she doesn't fit that bill as no one would want her, especially now that she is nothing but manipulative slut. Abby tells her to stop thinking like that but Chelsea says it's true. Jason and Barry were right about her. Abby thinks Chelsea is feeling the effects of all she has been through. Chelsea tells Abby that Max and her are through and there is no going back. She doesn't want him and he doesn't want her and she says she wants to be able to party and live without being tied down to one guy. She tells Abby to fight for Max and do whatever it takes, even if it means getting down and dirty. Abby says she isn't like that. Chelsea tells Abby that everyone is a little wild deep down and that it just needs to be tapped into, which Abby will when she feels desperate measures need to be taken. Abby says she isn't even sure if she wants Max. Chelsea says she can see that Abby does and warns Abby not to wait too long to do something or it will be too late. The nurse comes in to check Chelsea, who asks the nurse when she can be released to go party. Abby says goodbye and leaves, wondering if Chelsea is right about her having to do whatever it takes if she wants Max. She wonders if she has it in her to be wild and carefree and if she really wants Max enough to do it.

-Cassie and Max continue to dance until the music stops. They lost the contest but admit they had fun. Cassie can see Max is not completely sober and says she won't hold it against him. Max asks why she is hanging around him. Cassie mentions she is close with the Brady's because she thought she was one at one time and she thought he seemed nice enough and wanted to help him. Max thanks her but says he would rather be alone now. Cassie agrees to leave him but gives him her number and asks him to give her a call. She kisses his cheek and leaves. Cassie then heads to the bushes and makes a phone call to Stefano telling him things went well with Max. She asks what she needs to do now. Stefano instructs her to give Max space but meet up with him randomly every now and then until he instructs her otherwise. He also tells her to use her closeness with the Brady's to keep him up to date on their happenings. Cassie agrees and hangs up. Stefano is pleased that things are going well and says he has big plans for Cassie and Max. He goes to Lexie's room and waits outside as he is awaiting the doctors leaving so he can enter her room to see her awake.

-Sami admits how sorry she is. Austin, Lucas, and Kate rip her to shreads for her actions. Austin says that Sami manipulated Carrie into choosing Lucas via Lexie. Lucas thinks Carrie would've chosen him anyway but Austin thinks otherwise. They start arguing and Kate breaks it up. Kate mentions how it is the same old Sami who never changes. Austin and Lucas agree, as does Nicole. Eric, Will and Roman express how disappointed they are and Shane says it is stunning how Sami never learns from her mistakes. Sami says she has now and will prove it to him. She has finally realized you can't make someone love you or feel something for you as it does nothing but cause pain and ruins lives. She is still in the same situation as she was before scheming and plotting her whole life. She is still alone and single so it is clear what she has been wasting her whole life doing is wrong. Life is too short and she needs to make changes and grow up. She has finally realized she needs to take full responsibility for all her actions and can't try to deflect the blame. Nicole and Kate roll their eyes. Lucas says he will beleive it one he sees it. Everyone is also shocked that Lexie would do such a thing. Roman tells Shane they will need to tell Abe. Sami apologizes to Will and says she will make it up to him and prove how good of a mom she can be. She vows this time she will change and grow up for real. No one beleives her and Will cites the fact that she says that all the time. Sami says she is serious this time and will prove to all of them she is changing. She mentions how she told them all where Carrie was in the mountains. The "old" Sami would never have done that as keeping Carrie away would've been the better option in her mind. The fact that she confessed her secret rather then let someone expose it should mean something too. Austin says it does but it took a long time fomr Sami to own up. Sami understands and hopes they will all forgive her and she will do her best to prove she is really changing this time. Lucas asks her how she plans to show them this time she has changed and asks what is so different. Sami says she has the perfect action that will show them all right off the bat she isn't kidding and that this is the real deal. Sami tells Will to start packing up his stuff tonight. He asks why. Sami says that he is moving in with his father tomarrow and that she is giving Lucas sole custody of Will until she can really make them all proud and show them a different Sami. They won't file legal papers or anything, it will only be like an incentive to make sure she is serious this time. If she fails, then they will go to court and she will give him sole custody officially but she doesn't plan to fail as she is serious about changing this time. Everyone in the room looks on stunned as Sami asks them all if they beleive she is serious now.

-Belle tells Shawn he can't go. She can't live without him. Shawn says she is showing why he is leaving in the first place. He reminds Belle of his reasons. He needs to get out of Salem and away from everything. He also needs to do this for himself and, in some way, as a honor to Philip. It is a way for him to make up for all his mistakes in the past. His relationship with her has changed her. The Belle he used to know would never break a promise and she did that to Philip, her husband and baby's father. She let him go off alone to recover while she stayed here fawning over him. Belle says that they love each other and more separation would only cause more pain. Shawn disagrees and says that them being together is causing more pain for their families and Philip's. He reminds Belle that they are cousins. Belle says it doesn't matter but Shawn says it does and they just don't feel right together anymore. Shawn admits it hasn't felt right since before the Salem Stalker ruse. The airport announces that Shawn's flight is about to board. Belle realizes this is really happening. She grabs on to Shawn and begs him one last time not to leave. She doesn't know what she will do. Shawn is finally hit with the realization that he is leaving and begins to have doubts as he holds Belle in his arms. Belle and Shawn them remember all they have been through as a montage is shown to the song they danced to at the Last Blast Dance, "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain . They both begin to cry and Belle remembers what she told Cassie when Mimi and Rex were leaving and that sometimes, when you love someone, you have to put them before yourself. Belle understands she has to do that now as Shawn has valid reasons for going and alot has changed. Belle begins to wonder if maybe it is for the best. Shawn realizes Belle is coming to accept the idea and that he can't worry. He is making the right decision for everyone and Belle and him. It will all work out the way it will.

Belle: Well, you need to go. Your plan is almost done boarding.

Shawn: Yeah...I guess. Look, Belle. I don't want you to think I stopped loving you. I know some of my reasons for leaving may sound that way but...

Belle: I know you love me. I can see it in your eyes. A love like ours doesn't just go away. It never goes away. You can act like it's not there but it always is.

Shawn: Your right.

Shawn walks up to a crying Belle, kisses her, tears streaming down his face now.

Shawn: I will also always love you. I will never stop.

Belle: Shawn...I love...I love you too.

Shawn: You take care of that family of yours and keep an eye on things for me, ok?

Belle: I will and if your mom, dad...I will do anything for your family if they need my help. You know that.

Shawn: Well, they are your family too.

Belle: Yeah. It's still weird.

Shawn: Well, thank you. I guess this is goodbye then.

Belle: Yeah...goodbye. Damnit Shawn!!! How am I going to do this? How am I going to say goodbye? I don't want to say goodbye!!!

Shawn: I have to go.

Belle: No!!! Please!!! Just a few...

Shawn slowly walks away as Belle grabs hold and won't let go.

Shawn: It's the last call. I have to go. I love you Belle.

Belle: Shawn...how am I supposed to go on without you?

Shawn: Go to Philip. Go to Claire. They are your life. Goodbye Belle.

Belle: Shawn...I love you!!! I love you!!

Shawn: I love you.

Shawn looks back, turns around, and boards the plane as a tearful Belle look on. The song "I'll Be" begins to play again in the background as Shawn takes his seat on the plane as Belle watches the takeoff process and then witnesses the plane life off the ground and into the sky. On the plane, tears streaming down his face, Shawn looks at a picture of Belle and him and whispers a final goodbye. Meanwhile, Belle stares out the window almost hoping Shawn will come back. She gets up and begins to walk but then collapses to the ground in tears. A airport employee asks if she is ok. She answers that she will have to be but, right now, it seems like she never will be. The screen then fades out on Belle crying and Shawn on the plane and then the credits roll.

Belle: There is only one thing I can do now.

Abe to Lexie: I want to give us another chance.

Stefano: You will be happy with Abe over my dead body, Alexandra.

Sami: Even if takes me my whole life, I will prove to you all that I can change and be a person you all can be proud of.

Hope to Bo: Please don't this!!

Bo to Hope: I have to do this, Hope. You can't stop me...nothing and no one will stop me.

-Kayla arrives at her hotel in Austrailia. She goes to the front desk to check in unaware she is being watched. She heads down the hallway to her room and hears a noise. She turns around and asks if someone is there.

-Belle is at the loft with Claire. She looks at a picture of Shawn and says she is not going to let their dream go. She recalls their times together with tears streaming down her face. She goes to the phone and calls a sitter for Claire. She says she still has one more try left in her and that she is not letting Shawn leave no matter what she has to do.

-Hope is with Shawn at the Brady house. His bags are all packed and he has said goodbye to everyone except his mom and dad. Hope says he should be there soon and asks Shawn if he plans to say goodbye to Belle and Claire. Shawn says it will be too hard and it will make things worse. Bo shows up and asks Shawn if he is ready. He says he is. Bo tells Shawn how proud of him he is. Shawn says he is just doing what he has to do for everyone, including himself. This will be good for Belle, will honor Philip, and he hopes it will make his loved ones proud. Hope begs him to be careful and to stay in touch. Shawn promises too and apologizes to his parents for all the trouble he put them through over the years. Hope says it is in the past. Bo agrees. Shawn reminds Bo that he will try his best to forgive but he will never forget his involvement with Zach's death and the coverup. Bo understands and he is just grateful they are being civil and getting along. Shawn hopes this will be a influential experience on his life since he feels he needs that after everything they have all been through. He realizes what time it is and says he needs to go. He kisses and embraces Hope and then hugs Bo. They both wish him luck. A crying Hope begs him to be careful again. Shawn promises he will and looks at them one more time as he leaves. Hope breaks down in Bo's arms. She looks at the pictures on the fireplace mantle and asks where they time went. Bo says it flies by. Hope prays that Shawn will be ok as she can't lose another son or anyone else she cares about. Bo says she won't have to worry about that and either will his friends and family. He is going to do whatever it takes to protect them and make sure justice is served properly. Hope looks at him horrified and begs Bo not to follow Victor's lead and take the law into his own hands. Bo says he will do what he has to and if it means pushing those he loves and cares about away for their safety and security, then so be it. Bo says he doesn't want a lecture or to talk as he has to get going. Hope begs him to talk with her but Bo says he has plans. Hope tells Bo not to go down that path but he leaves. Hope yells out to him to just let things be but he drives off. Hope is worried about what may happen next.

-Maggie and Victor are sharing tea. Maggie thanks him for letting her stay in the guest wing. She didn't even have the urge to drink and she can't figure out why. All she knows is when she is around him, she feels good and it's like she is in another world. She should've never pushed him away but she felt it was best for both of them but everyone else was wrong. She needs Victor in her life. Victor asks what she is saying. Maggie says he is her strength and is what is keeping her sane. Once she forced him away, she turned to the bottle because she felt she had nothing else but she has him. He is a true friend and has been there for her through the worst 4 months of her life. Victor says he is grateful to her for her friendship as well. Maggie says she feels so relaxed with him and maybe it's because they were never close prior to the last few months and she doesn't feel as though he looks at her with shame and blame for Mickey's death. Victor insists Mickey's death wasn't her fault. Maggie says she sees what Julie meant but seeing the good in him and Maggie thinks it helps that Victor and her are both going through hard times. They truly understand where each other's coming from. Victor says she can stay as long as she wants and that he will do whatever he can to help her. Victor switches the subject to last night and asks how much she saw when she followed him. Maggie says she saw him arrive and stand over the two dead bodies of Chelsea's rapists with Nico and then leave after a few minutes. That was it. She asks Victor why he is so worried as he did nothing wrong. Victor says he was just making sure Maggie didn't misinterpet anything. Maggie thanks him and tells him to thank Nico for helping to coverup her being drunk yesterday. Victor says it's ok. Maggie promises it will never happen again as, when she is around him, the urge just isn't there. Victor says they will get through everything together. Maggie asks if she can stay with him for a few nights and, hopefully, she will make progress and be ok after that. He agrees and Maggie says she will go home and get her stuff. Victor hopes Maggie won't get in the way of his plans. Nico warns him to be careful around her so she doesn't get wind of certain things that could cause problems. Victor says he will and admits he feels good about her staying and is happy. Nico asks why but Victor doesn't have an answer. He says it just feels right.

-Max is drinking a bottle of whiskey in the park when Cassie passes by. She reminds him that drinking early in the day is never good as you waste the day away. Max tells her to buzz off and leave him alone. Cassie says she knows he has girl problems with Chelsea and Abby. Max says Abby is just a friend and Cassie apologizes and corrects herself, while privately beleiving Max cares far more about her then he is letting on. Max says he still loves Chelsea and wants to help her but she won't let him in. Cassie says it's too bad but that maybe she will in time. She says he really needs to loosen up and have fun in the meantime. She remembers hearing he was a big partier and adventure seeker. She hates seeing him sulk. A dance competition is taking place and Cassie asks Max to join it with her to get his mind off his issues. Max says he is half drunk and not in the mood. Cassie says it will be good for him and there are no strings attached. They are just having fun. Besides, she used to be a Brady so they used to be connected. Max mentions she is a Dimera but Cassie reminds him she is one of the good guys. She again asks Max to join the dance competition with her as it will be alot of fun and will help him get through this rough patch. He knows she isn't going to let it go and reluctantly agrees. They reigster and join the dance off.

-Abby visits Chelsea, who seems to catatonic. Abby manages to get her to say hello. Abby asks how she is feeling but Chelsea says to stop with the small talk and do what she wanted to and go. Abby asks Chelsea about Max and what happened. She says he wanted to break up and then wanted her back. She adds that he was too late-she is damaged goods now two times over. One time she could get past but this is too much. Abby begs Chelsea to open up to her as they are best friends but Chelsea tells her to back off. She has no idea what she is going through. Abby agrees with that and says she will change the subject. She asks if Chelsea heard from Max. Chelsea asks why Max isn't with Abby as they seemed to be closer. Abby insists they are only friends but Chelsea thinks otherwise and sarcastically agrees with Abby's denial. Chelsea tells Abby that it is really becoming obvious you have to be bad to get what you want. She tried being good and worse things happened to her. She tells Abby maybe she would think about a personality change too. Chelsea says good girls finish last just like nice guys and she vows not to suffer anymore. She is going to have a good time and not care about anything or anyone but herself. She will do what she wants when she wants. Abby is frightened and says Chelsea doesn't have to revert back to how she was months ago. Just because bad things happen doesn't mean it should stop her from changing. Abby also adds that bad girls don't always win. She thinks Max would never be one over by stuff like that. Chelsea reminds Abby that he is a race car driver and that he had quite a reputation of partying prior to meeting them. Chelsea says every guy likes girls that put out and be all over them. Abby is appalled but Chelsea says it's true. She is out of the running because she is a whore. Abby tells Chelsea she is not a whore but Chelsea refuses to listen and blocks Abby out by putting on the TV. Abby looks on frustrated.

-Lucas, Austin, and Kate continue to search for Carrie. Lucas thanks Kate for providing them with some contacts overseas and nationally so they can try to track down Anna as Carrie said she would be joining her mother. Kate is happy to help. Meanwhile, Sami is prepared to confess her deception and hopes she is doing the right thing. She then tells herself she is and that she should have done this awhile ago as life is too short to keep this up. Will asks his mother what she is planning to do. Sami tells him he will see very soon and she promises she is going to be a great mother and make him proud from now on. Roman, Abe, Celeste, Eric, Nicole, and Shane arrive to join Kate, Lucas, and Austin. Austin asks what is going on. Roman says Sami called them all over and Shane tagged along. Abe says that Sami had big news and an announcement. Austin, Lucas, and Kate are puzzled.

-Maggie arrives at her home and is packing up her things. Her doorbell rings. She tries to ignore it but finally gives in. It's Hope. Maggie asks what brings her to her house. Hope says she needs Maggie's help.

-Victor is with Nico discussing plans against his enemies when the doorbell rings. Henderson announces that Bo Brady has arrived. Victor is pleased to see him. Bo tells Victor he is going to take his offer. He wants to join his fight and do whatever it takes to rid Salem and the people they love of these threats once and for all. Victor welcomes him aboard as him and Bo shake hands.

-Shawn is at the airport waiting for his flight. He admits it is hard leaving but he has to do this. Belle then yells out that he doesn't have to worry because he isn't leaving at all if she has anything to do about it. Shawn is stunned and frustrated to see her. Belle walks up to him and asks him if he really wants to leave her and....(passionately kisses Shawn). Belle then asks him if he still sure he wants to leave as Shawn remains silent and stunned.

-Cassie and Max take to the dance floor for their turn. He comes close to changing his mind but Cassie tells him it's too late and says he is pretty drunk so she urges him to let loose and have fun. They start out dancing apart and then come together. Their dance turns from stiff and dead to alive and passionate as they soon begin to have their arms all over each other as a TV crew for a news station catches them. Meanwhile, Chelsea is flipping through channels. Abby asks her to turn the TV off and to listen to her but Chelsea stops on a channel with a dance competition. Abby then asks her what she is so fixated on. Chelsea tells Abby she told her guys like Max liked bad girls and that good girls finish last. Abby is confused and then see Cassie and Max dancing onsceen seductively. Abby is stunned and hurt. Chelsea looks on coldly, seemingly with no reaction at all.

-Kayla sees no one and thinks she just heard the wind or someone leaving their room. She looks at a picture of Steve and vows that she won't give up until she finds him and they get their family and lives back. Meanwhile, Kayla is spied on from out the window. The man then calls someoen. It's Stefano!! The man tells Stefano that Kayla has arrived. Stefano is pleased and says she is the key to his getting revenge on Victor and his enemies. He tells the man to begin phase two of the plan-to help Kayla along to making a little shocking discovery. The man understands and hangs up. Stefano laughs and then looks at a little monitor on his pocket TV. A man is seen walking from behind in what looks like a cell. He is strangely calm for someone in a cell. Stefano says that soon he will have a visitor and then the plan will be in motion and it will lead all his enemies, especially Victor Kiriakis, into his trap. He laughs sadistically as he watches the prisoner on the monitor.

-Sami thinks it is time. She tells Will to go to Lucas's and bring everyone over. Will is confused. Sami says she told some people to go there and wait until sent for them. There is something she really needs to announce. Will goes to Lucas's and informs everyone. Celeste tells Abe she feels something big is about to happen that will affect them. Abe is curious but then gets a page that Lexie has awakened from the coma. Abe tells Roman to apologize to Sami but Celeste and him need to go. Roman understands and they both head for the hospital. Roman, Eric, Nicole Shane, Austin, Lucas, and Kate join Will at Sami's. Roman asks what is going on. Sami says she has something to tell them all. Roman fills Sami in on where Abe and Celeste are and tells Sami to go ahead. Sami tells them all she has been thinking alot and she needs to make some major changes in her life. It is time for her to grow up and she hopes this will help her with that. She knows she is giving up alot but she feels she needs to do this. She wants her son and all of them to be proud of her. Kate tells her to spit it out already. Sami is now ready and tells them all about how when Austin returned to Salem a year ago she thought it was fate. They grew closer working together and she thought things would go well with them, even with Nicole in the way. Nicole smirks. Eric tells Sami to move this along. Sami remembers finding out Austin still loved Carrie and from that moment on she felt like the second choice again and it bothered her. She didn't want to lose again as she has lost enough so she took extreme matters when it seemed Carrie and Austin were on the brink of reuniting. She confesses knowing about Highstyle but not saying anything and watching Austin take over the company of the love of his life. Austin is appalled but Lucas remembers knowing too but keeps mum. Sami then says that Carrie and Austin seemed to be reuniting anyway so she went to Lexie. She had caught Lexie having sex with Tek in the park and she used that info to blackmail her into helping her break up Carrie and Austin. Lucas asks what she did this time. Sami says it was the worst thing ever and she regrets it and she promises never to scheme and plot again. She has learned her lesson. Austin asks what Sami made Lexie do. Sami says she told Lexie to come up with something to break them up and she came up with telling Carrie she couldn't have children with Austin because they would have birth defects. Everyone is stunned. Lucas and Austin are appalled, as are Eric and Roman. Will is stunned. Nicole laughs and says it seems Sami has struck out again. Kate looks on satisfied saying that Sami is going down and will never resurrect herself from this one. Lucas and Austin look at Sami, who begins to break down saying she hopes they will forgive her. The room is silent except for Sami's cries as the screen fades out on a desperate for forgiveness Sami and then fades to black.

-Hope begs Shawn and Bo to make up. Alice calls Shawn over and reminds him that what he is getting into is very dangerous. Life is too short and he would never forgive himself if something happened and he never made things right with his father or anyone else in Salem he cares about. Alice also reminds Shawn that their family has always been able to forgive because everyone makes mistakes. Shawn looks at Bo. He walks over and tells Bo he doesn't know if he will ever forget his part in Zach's death or his supporting Chelsea. He understands she is his daughter but all she has done is destroy lives. He does promise to try to move on from this and to try to forgive him. Bo appreciates that. Hope then asks them to hug. They do and Hope looks on happily along with Alice, Caroline, Doug, and Julie.

-Shawn realizes that he should say goodbye to some people now as he won't see them before he leaves in the morning. He hugs Abby, Frankie, and Jack who all wish him well. He hugs Shane, Abe, and Roman. Roman wishes him well and thanks him. Shawn asks for what. Roman says he knows he is doing this for Belle and Philip among other reasons and he says he is proud of the man he is becoming. Cassie arrives. Caroline asks what she is doing there. Cassie says she heard Shawn was leaving and has been looking everywhere (in reality, Cassie is spying for Stefano and using her past connection with the Brady's to do so). Shawn tells Cassie he isn't leaving until tomarrow. Cassie says goodbye to him and thanks him as he was the one that found Rex and her. Shawn recalls the times Cassie and him spent together and says they were definitely unique. They laugh. Shawn says goodbye to Maggie and hugs her. He tells Maggie he misses Uncle Mickey too and he hopes she gets better and makes it through this. It is what he would want. Maggie nods. Shawn embraces Laura and then makes his way to Doug and Julie. Julie, with tears flowing, begs him to be careful. Doug seconds that and says he is proud of him for doing this. They all three hug. Caroline then wishes him well and tells him that Grandpa Shawn would be proud of him. Shawn says he hopes he makes them all proud. Alice says she is sure he will and she knows Tom and Mickey will look after him. Shawn hugs Alice and says he will miss her. He recalls the special times they shared together. Alice begs him not to get into as much trouble as he did when he searched for her ruby. They laugh. Shawn tells them all he loves them. Bo asks Shawn if he is going to say goodbye to him. Shawn says not tonight. He wants to save some for tomarrow and he does have to get going as he has some stuff to pick up. Hope asks if he needs help. Shawn says he will be fine and wishes everyone well and leaves. Hope tells Bo and everyone else that she doesn't know how she will deal with this. She asks Bo what will happen if something happens to Shawn. Bo promises he will be fine.

-Caroline overhears Doug, Julie, and Laura talking about Maggie. Laura says that they are still putting the plan in motion that they hope will help Maggie. Caroline says she thinks they should also be worried about her returning involvement with Victor. Maggie overhears and asks what Caroline's problem is. She asks why her and everyone else is so worried about her being around Victor. Caroline says it's not good for either of them with everything going on and she thought Maggie understood that. Maggie says she understands quite clear and she thinks that Caroline is the one that should be staying away from Victor. All she does is hurt the man and now she is trying to her from being a friend to him like he has been to her. Maggie tells Caroline and everyone else to stay out of her life and leaves. Alice tells Caroline, Doug, Julie, and Laura that they need to back off a bit before they push Maggie further away. Alice says Maggie just needs to find her own way. Laura, Doug, and Julie take Alice home while Caroline ponders why Maggie and Victor spending time together bothers her so much as they are only friends. She says that Maggie is right-all she does is hurt Victor but she has no choice as this is for her family's sake.

-Cassie asks Abby why Max isn't with her. Abby says Max is with Chelsea. Cassie says she was at the hospital and Chelsea was with Kate and Max was nowhere to be found. Cassie sees that Abby gets upset at the mention of Max's name and asks if something is wrong. Abby tells Cassie that everything is fine. Cassie remembers how happy Max and Abby were when Chelsea and her saw them at Salem Place. Cassie suggests that the bublle must've burst and now it seems Abby can join Chelsea in the loser's club since she struck out with Max. Abby tells Cassie to back off. Cassie tells Abby she is sure that Max will come back to her if Abby gives him what he needs unless Chelsea gives it to him first. Abby hauls off and slaps Cassie, calling her a bitch. Jack and Frankie asks what happened. Abby says it was nothing. Jack says that Cassie seemed like a nice girl and was a comfort to him while trapped in the castle. He doesn't understand why Abby would hit her or anyone. Abby reluctantly apologizes to Cassie and tells her father it was a misunderstanding. Jack apologizes to Cassie too and asks what happened. Cassie says it was nothing. Jack walks away and asks Frankie what just happened. Frankie says it must be a girl thing. Cassie smirks at Abby and leaves while Abby coldly stares at her as she leaves.

-Victor's doorbell rings. Henderson is off so Victor answers to see Shawn there. Shawn says he was picking up some stuff and thought he should come by and say goodbye as he won't have time in the morning. He asks Victor if he harbors any bad feelings towards him for the Philip situation. Victor says he doesn't although he has issues with Belle for not going with Philip. Shawn says that is partly why he is leaving. He hates seeing what she has become because of their relationship and he wants to honor Philip in a way by doing this. Victor says that he is proud of him and that Philip would be proud. He tells Shawn to be careful as there is enough tragedy going on. They embrace. Victor walks him out. Victor goes back to his drink and paper when the doorbell rings again. He opens the door to Maggie. Maggie is crying and says she went home and she wanted another drink to deal with the pain but she doesn't want a repeat of the night before. Being around Victor helps with dealing with the grief and temptation so she asks if she can stay with him for the night. Victor lets her in and says of course she can. They embrace and Maggie says she doesn't care what anyone says as they are friends and they need each other. Victor agrees and says he will always be there to help her just like she has been there for him. He walks her into the living room.

-Billie asks Bo how he is doing. Bo says he is frustrated and has alot on his mind. Billie begs Bo not to head down the wrong path and go all vigilante on them all. Bo says he will do what he feels he has to but he has to think first. He is frustrated and something needs to be done. He will not stand by and watch his loved ones continue to get hurt and suffer at the hands of the Dimera's and other threats. Their daughter got raped twice and the second time was because of a flaw in the system. Bo tells Billie no one will stop him from doing whatever he feels he needs to do. Bo walks away. Jack asks if everything is ok. Billie says she is afraid for Bo and for everyone that cares for him.

-Roman, Shane and Abe are talking. Abe asks Roman if he has spoken with Bo. Roman says Bo won't even look at him and he doesn't want to start something with Shawn leaving. Roman then gets a surprised look on his face and tells Abe he just thought of something very interesting. Shane asks what it is but Roman stays silent and says he doesn't know. He needs to think it out a little more first.

-Hope asks Bo if he will be there in the morning to say goodbye to Shawn. He says he will and is happy Shawn and him made up. Hope asks if this has changed his mind at all about taking the law into his own hands. Bo tells her what he told Billie-he has alot of thinking to do and he will do whatever he feels is necessary. Hope tells Bo that she is ready to talk and work things out and they need each other with Shawn leaving and everything else. Bo asks Hope where she was weeks ago when he wanted to talk. Bo tells Hope he can't talk with her right now as he has to think about some things and needs to work on proving he did not kill Chelsea's rapists. He also is determinded to protect the people he loves from now on as he will not stand by anymore and watch all this tragedy. Something needs to be done no matter what it is and how far he needs to go. Hope tells Bo she is scaring him. Bo says it is scary because nothing is being done but he is going to make sure it does. Hope tells Bo to let the right people handle it. Bo reminds Hope they are both cops so they are the right people but the system and doing things by the book has failed him too many times. If he needs to go an alternate route to see justice served, so be it. Hope begs Bo again but Bo pushes her away. He reminds her that if she had told him about Chelsea's rape sooner or even let him do what he wanted to with the rapists in the alley, it is possible things would've never gotten as bad as they are. Hope apologizes but says Chelsea made her promise and Victor knew as well. Plus, she couldn't just let him lose control and kill those guys. Bo says Victor is not his wife and she had a obligation to tell him. As for the rapists, she and most people already think he killed them so maybe Hope should've let him do it then and there even though he was merely trying to scare a confession out of them. He looks at Hope and says he is not going to defend or explain himself or his motivation to her or anyone else. He takes off and slams the door behind him. Billie, Jack, Frankie, Abby, Caroline, Roman, Abe, and Shane look on in horror along with Hope as she cries for Bo to come back and not to do this as the screen fades to black and the credits roll.

Chelsea to Abby: You mean he isn't with you?

Cassie to Max: What do you say you and I steam up the dance floor?

Sami: There is something I need to tell you all.

-Sami and Lucas arrive at her apartment and are embraced by Will (now being played by Jeremy Sumpter) . Will says it has felt like ages since he has seen them. He asks where Austin is. Sami explains that Austin had some business to take care of and that Kate went to check on Chelsea. Sami and Lucas fill Will in on Carrie and the letter. Will is upset and asks when their family is ever going to be norma. Someone is always being kidnapped or leaving if it isn't one of his mother's schemes ruining their lives. Sami insists her scheming days are behind her as she knows it hurts Will alot. Sami remembers her scheme with Lexie and promises herself that plot was it. Lucas leaves to make some phone calls as he is not giving up looking for Carrie. Sami is bothered by Lucas's feelings for Carrie. Will tells Sami he hopes she meant it and that she is done manipulating because the family is a mess right now and they don't need her keeping secrets that always find a way of coming out. Sami says everything is fine and he has nothing to worry about. Will goes to do homework while Sami thinks about the lie Lexie and her told. Sami tried to keep Carrie and Austin apart but they still came together and now may even have a baby despite the lie created by Lexie and her that they couldn't together. Sami looks at Will and knows how much her plots have hurt him and she knows the family doesn't need anymore turmoil. She has spent most of her life chasing after men who don't see her as their first choice. Sami remembers thinking about this earlier and says that Carrie and Austin's affair is a sign that no matter what she does, nothing will change. She needs to begin anew and look at other options for romance rather then the roads she already has traveled. Sami realizes the time is now to change as she can't keep wasting her life like this. She needs to tell everyone the truth about the lie she created with Lexie as that is the first step to moving on. This is the right thing to do and she can't beleive she didn't realize it sooner as nothing was ever going to change with Austin and even Lucas. They both see Carrie as their dream girl and she is merely a backup. She can't do that anymore and says it is time to she do things for herself and grow up from the immature Sami Brady that wants what everyone else has. She needs to earn it instead of force it. She knows what she needs to do-starting with announcing the truth to everyone about her plot to break up Carrie and Austin. Meanwhile, Lucas calls a PI and continues to work to find Carrie. He vows not to give up as he knows she is still out there and he is not just going to let her stay away.

-Stefano is by Lexie's bedside and vows once again to protect her and to get revenge on Victor and his loved ones for what happened to her. Cassie arrives and asks how Lexie is. Stefano says there is no change. Cassie asks about his plans for revenge. Stefano says the plans are already in motion and he thanks Cassie for telling him Kayla left as that info, combined with his aid informing him she went to Austrailia, will come in handy. Stefano tells Cassie that Kayla is the key as she will find what she is looking for only to fall right into a trap he has laid. Her loved ones will come looking for her and will be walk into the trap. Victor will soon be drawn out and then Stefano will get involved and take care of Victor himself to pay him back for nearly killing his daughter. Cassie says it sounds good and insists she be a part of it as she wants a place in the Dimera empire and legacy. Stefano says that Cassie has already proven her worth with bringing him info about Kayla and Victor. He encourages her not to show her true colors and to act as close to the Brady's as possible to get any info she can. Cassie vows to do whatever she needs to as she wants to please Stefano and prove himself to him. Stefano is confident she will and is also confident the plan will work out perfectly.

-Kayla is still on the plane to Austrailia. She flashes back her first meeting with Steve and how they fell in love. She recalls his "death" and everything Patrick told her about it. She vows to get more answers but she first wants to find the love of her life and she will do whatever it takes. She will not lose him again...to anyone.

-Belle asks everyone in the room if they really want Shawn to leave. The Brady and Horton families need him at this time and nobody wants to risk losing Shawn in battle. Philip nearly died in battle and both families have lost so many lives recently already that they couldn't deal with losing him. Shawn explains he needs to do this for Philip, for Belle, for those he loves, and for himself. He wants to serve his country and just feels this is something he has to do. Plus, he can do it out of respect for Philip. Caroline applauds him. Belle asks if anyone is going to help her convince Shawn to stay. Alice tells Belle that Shawn needs to follow his own path to find himself and that if she loves him she will let him. Belle asks Hope if she is going to stop it. Hope says she will if he doesn't make up with Bo but, other then that, no she won't stop it. Belle is stunned no one is going to stop it and she runs out in tears. Shawn runs out after her.

-Roman, Shane and Abe decide to go out and look for Bo as Hope wants him at the house to be with Shawn and the family. They leave. Billie admits to Jack she is worried about Bo. Jack is sure he will be fine but Billie says she can't remember seeing him like this. Abby comments that it seems Bo and Chelsea are going through the same type of rebellion by pushing people they love away. Frankie worries Bo may get in over his head, prompting Caroline and Hope to look on worried and wondering where Bo is.

-Bo is walking the pier and thinking about recent events and what Victor said. Bo has nothing to lose as he has nothing right now and the system has let him down more times then not. Bo wonders if maybe it is time for a change and if he has to do isolate himself from family and friends, like Victor, is to protect them and have justice served then so be it. Shane finds him and says Hope wants to see him at the house. Bo is hesistant but Shane tells Bo that Shawn is getting ready to leave and Hope wants him there to see if things can be worked out. Bo doesn't think so as Shawn hates him but Shane tells him it is worth a shot as he will be in alot of danger as a marine. Bo understands and says he will come but only for Shawn. He has alot to think about and he really doesn't want to see anyone right now but seeing Shawn is important. They head for Hope's.

-Caroline asks Maggie why she is so behind Victor again as she demonstrated earlier by asking if Victor may be right about the justice system. Doug and Julie wonder the same. Maggie just thinks he could be right and that it is unfair to discount his opinion based on his past. Maggie reminds them all to backoff or she will leave as she didn't want to come but did anyway. She was being nice showing up. She walks off and tells them all they can beleive what they do just as she can. Doug, Julie, Caroline, and Laura don't like Maggie being around Victor again and seeing her defend his return to his old ways. Alice thinks they shouldn't panic and should just set the plan they decided on in motion. Doug and Julie fill Caroline in on the plan by whispering and ask her to keep it quiet. Laura thinks that will be wise and beleives it is better to worry more and weigh other options to help Maggie after they see how this plan works.

-Shawn gives Belle a tissue and tells her to stop crying. Belle says she is crying because she doesn't want to lose him. He reminds her they are cousins and that their relationship has caused more harm then good. He tells her she should be with Philip as he is her husband and the father of her child. She promised him she would be there and she let her feelings for him keep her in Salem. Shawn tells Belle that she would never do that years ago but their wanting to be together and desperation to be together has changed the both of them. It can't continue as too many, especially Philip, have been hurt. Shawn says that is why he is leaving as they can;t be together and him leaving will give her the opportunity to fix her marriage or start again. She can't do anything with him there and he wants to go. He hopes he can make it up to his family and to Philip as he has caused alot of damage over the years with his actions. Belle says she can't just let him go. Shawn says she will have to as she has no choice. Belle says she won't. Shawn grabs her and angrily tells her to accept that he is leaving tomarrow and that they are through. They have to be through. Belle runs away an emotional wreck. Shawn goes back in the house, despite his hating Belle leaving like that, where Hope asks if everything is ok. Shawn says it will be. Abe and Roman arrive and tells everyone that Shane is bringing Bo. Right on cue, Shane walks in with Bo. Bo joins Shawn and Hope. Shawn asks why he is there. Bo says that he was asked to be there and Hope admits she sent Roman, Abe, and Shane out because they need to be together as a family. They have been through so much and now he is leaving. Life is too short and if something should happen to Shawn in combat or to either her or Bo at home, then this could be the last time they see each other. Shawn understands. Hope tells Bo and Shawn that this may be their last chance to work things out. She begs them to begin to unite their family, not drive it further apart. Bo and Shawn stare at each other as everyone in the room, especially Hope, hopes things take a turn for the better as the screen fades to black and the credits roll.

On the next "Salem Lives:"

Hope to Bo and Shawn: Either you two get over this or neither one of you is going anywhere.

Billie to Bo: I know you are frustrated but...

Bo to Billie: I have to do something Billie and neither you or anyone else can stop me.

Roman to Abe: I just thought of something very interesting.

Cassie to Abby: Seems you lost out on the Max race too...perhaps you and yoru buddy Chelsea can sulk in the loser's club together.

Abby to Cassie: You bitch!!! (slaps Cassie)

Maggie to Caroline: What is going on Caroline? Why is you and everyone else so worried about Victor and I?

-Carrie watches as Alan lies asleep, recovering from his injuries. She can't beleive she is here with him and how much he has changed. She also can't beleive she made Shane take that letter to her loved ones but she had to do it. She can't hit the people she loves, especially Austin and Lucas and even Sami. She sees Alan tossing and turning and wonders what he is dreaming about. Alan begins to cry out for the guard to open the cell. Carrie sees him shaking and violently tossing all over the place. Alan yells out for the guard not to leave him alone. Carrie grabs hold of him and assures him it's ok. She is there for him and is not going anywhere. Alan wakes up and pushes Carrie away, asking what she is doing. Carrie explains he was having a nightmare and she just tried to comfort him. Alan begs her not to do that again. He is a man and doesn't need her help in trying to comfort him. He can get through it. Carrie understands. Alan thanks her for everything. Carrie is about to ask about the nightmare but backs off, seeing how flustered Alan is. She wonders what the nightmare was about and if it has anything to do with his past experience in prison.

-Sami is still stunned by learning of Carrie and Austin's affair and his belief the baby is his. Austin sees Sami and asks if something is wrong. Sami lies and says no. They return to Kate, Roman, Shane, and Lucas. Roman says he needs to go and that it is time for all of them to leave now that the search is over. Roman and Shane leave together. Lucas tells Kate and Austin that he isn't giving up and thinks they should try to find Carrie. Austin agrees but says they need to do something about the danger in Salem and then maybe Carrie will come back on her own. Lucas thinks it is a great idea but Kate worries about the danger involved. Sami overhears everything and she can see how much both Lucas and Austin love Carrie. She remembers how she was thinking recently about why she always goes after men who would rather be elsewhere and now it is clear both Lucas and Austin want Carrie and not her. Sami contemplates whether it may be time to start anew and to stop chasing after men and dreams that will probably never happen. It has been far too long and has tried every trick in the book and she has nothing after all these years. Austin asks if Sami is ready to go home. She says yes and they all head for home.

-Shawn is on his way out of his loft. He has all his bags packed and is prepared to leave Salem for the marines. He closes his door and Belle is waiting for him outside. Belle once again begs Shawn to reconsider this and to stop pushing her away. Shawn says he has to and she needs to get used to him not being here. He tells Belle he is leaving and she can't stop it. Belle says she will stop it and that she is not letting him go. Shawn has to see his mother as she called him and he is going to say his goodbyes tonight so he must go. He tells Belle it would be best if she just let this go. He leaves as Belle vows not to let him go.

-Alice, Doug, Julie, Laura, Maggie, Caroline, Frankie, Jack, Billie, Abby, and abe have all gathered at Hope's. Hope explains to her the fears she concerning Bo. Shane and Roman arrive late and Roman asks Hope what she thinks they should do. Hope says they need to do whatever it takes to save Bo from himself. Billie agrees and says she understands Bo's frustration with the system and how it led to Chelsea's second attack but Bo's is headed down a dangerous path and they need to pull him away from it. Laura beleives that Bo getting some counseling would be good but they may never get him to a session the way he is. Hope agrees and thinks Bo would fight it the whole way so counseling is useless. Jack thinks that Bo will come out of it fine but Frankie disagrees saying Bo is lost right now with everything that is going on in his life. Frankie then turns to Abby and asks where Max is. Abby says she thinks he won't be making it. Frankie asks why. Abby stays silent and then says she guesses he is busy. Caroline asks what they should do. Hope thinks they need to keep Victor away from him since all he is doing is encoruaging Bo in taking matters into his own hands. Maggie mentions to everyone that Victor could be right. Caroline is bothered by this and answers that Victor is not right and that is why Victor turned good for years before reverting back to his past ways. Caroline explains that Victor is hurting like Bo and that both of them are letting the anger and rage drive them to do things that will only make things worse. Hope is worried that Bo may have a side to him like Victor and that this may really get out of hand. Alice reminds Hope that she has been with Bo for years and that he has never been anything like Victor used to be. Julie agrees and adds that Victor is not what he was right now. He is not as ruthless as in the past. He is just frustrated and it seems he wants to protect those he loves, just like Bo. Shane and Abe both thinks they need to go out and find Bo. Shawn then arrives and apologizes for being late. Hope fills him in on what is happening. Shawn admits that he honestly doesn't care what his father does since he is leaving anyway. He then tells Hope that he mostly came over to say goodbye rather then help out with Bo. Hope says that Shawn is not leaving...not until he and his father can become at least civil with each other. Belle then walks in the open front door and says he isn't leaving anyhow if she has anything to say about it. Shawn tells Belle to stop but Belle says she needs everyone's attention as she is going to need all of them to help her convince Shawn to stay. Shawn tells Belle to back off and just give it up but Belle refuses and is confident that he is going nowhere.

-Victor sits down with Bo at the Cheatin Heart. Bo asks him to get to the point and explain his offer. Victor explains that he beleives they are both on similar wavelengths right now based on what went down at the hospital earlier. Bo agrees. Victor knows that Bo knows of his involvement in the explosion that nearly killed Lexie. Victor explains he wants Stefano eliminated and that was the intention of the explosion only Lexie was in the building instead. Victor wants to wipe out his enemies and the enemies who pose a threat to his friends and family. The island was the last straw for him so he has targeted Ernesto and Stefano, among others. He tells Bo that the current justice system is flawed and that things hardly ever go as they should. They need to do something to protect their loved ones as they have been victimized long enough. Bo agrees and says Chelsea's rape was the last straw for him. Victor again apologizes for not telling him. Bo tells him to forget it and asks what he is proposing. Victor asks Bo to join him. Now is the perfect time as they are sharing similar philosophies and the people they love need them to protect them and end all this pain and suffering. The law has done nothing to stop this so it's time they did...together. He tells Bo he will have to make sacrificed like pushing away those he loves so he can protect them properly and do all that is necessary to make everything the way it should be. Only then will those they love be truly safe. Victor asks Bo to mull all that over and says he needs to go tend to business. He tells Bo to come to him when he has a response to his offer. Victor leaves as Bo asks for another drink. He recalls all the times the Dimera's have put his family through hell and the time that Ernesto nearly killed Hope. He also flashes back to seeing a bruised and battered Chelsea in the hospital. He tells the bartended he's done and tips him. He walks out of the bar and then asks himself if he can really do this and switch to an opposite side of the law to finally get results. He wonders if this is what has to be done to truly protect his loved ones from going through the hell they are right now. Bo looks up at the sky, almost as if he is searching for a sign to give him answers as to what to do as the screen fades to black and the credits roll.

Sami: My son and I have suffered long enough. It's time for a change.

Stefano to Cassie: Kayla Johnson is the key to getting revenge on Victor and all of my enemies.

Belle to Shawn: I am not letting you go.

Shawn to Belle: But I am letting you go.

Hope: I am not giving up on Bo.

Bo: I have lost everything already so I have nothing to lose. Perhaps I should put it all on the line and join Victor?

-Roman confronts Shane once again and asks him if there is more he isn't saying about Carrie. Roman says it doesn't make sense she would just leave when she was pregnant. Shane reminds Roman of the island debacle and all the bad things happening in Salem, most recently the warehouse explosion. Shane beleives Carrie is afraid to reaise a child in that sort of environment with the Dimera's hanging around. Austin, Lucas, and Sami agree that could very well be a reason. Lucas wants to still track Carrie done. Shane thinks they should just respect her wishes and hope she changes her mind once things calm done.. Roman agrees that she may return once things get better. Roman takes Shane aside and fills him in on what is going on with Bo and the murders. Shane is shocked. Roman tells Shane the whole family is falling apart and Bo is pulling away from all the people he loves and from the law. Roman adds that Victor is only encouraging Bo and makings things worse. Shane wonders if things could get any worse. Roman says they are bound to as it seems Victor and Stefano are prepared to go to war with each other.

-Sami comforts both Austin and Lucas. They both just want to be alone and leave Sami. Sami wonders if something else may be going on about Carrie as she isn't buying into it like everyone else, despite there being alot of danger around them. She doesn't beleive Carrie would just leave, especially while pregnant.

- Abby can see that Max wants to go back in and be with Chelsea. Abby tells Max that she knows he still cares about Chelsea and that it's ok. She would expect nothing less of a guy like him. Billie and Kate are outside his room. Kate says she is going to go see what is happening with the search for Carrie. She tells Billie to call if she needs her and leaves. Jack offers to get Billie some coffee. Billie decides that they can go for a little walk as well. Max asks Billie if he can see Chelsea. She allows it but tells him to be easy on her. Max walks in and sees Chelsea, who is staring blank face at a wall. He says he hopes she doesn't mind he came in. He sits down and says he still cares about her and asks her why she never told him what happened. He never could understand why she was pushing him away but now he does. He could've helped her deal with being there for Josh's death and the rape. He tells her they can put all that in the past and just move on. He wants to be there for her and he begs her to let him. He tells Chelsea he thinks he has fallen in love with her. Chelsea turns around and coldly tells Max to leave. Max begs Chelsea to reconsider. He knows they broke up but only because he never knew what was going on. Chelsea tells him that he doesn't want her and that nobody does. She is a manipulating whore and she will never change. When she did change, it went nowhere and bad things still happened. She believes it is better to be bad. She tells Max to leave before she had security make him leave.

-Abby is walking around when Frankie approaches her. He can tell something is wrong and asks if he can help. Abby fills him in about Max not being over Chelsea and she understands but she doesn't think Max sees her as someone he can be with. Frankie urges Abby to not give up and fight for Max. He thinks she should tell Max she is interested in being more then friends.

-Jack and Billie talk about all the turmoil in their lives. Jack says she comforted him when he lost Jennifer and now he is going to help her deal with what is happening to her daughter. She thanks Jack. Jack also says he called Harold at The Spectator to make sure that Chelsea is not painted in a bad light. Billie thanks Jack and says she is happy she has had a friend like him over the years. He agrees and says he doesn't know where he would be without her these past few weeks. Billie says she had a promise to keep for Jennifer and a responsibility as a friend to her and him to be the best friend she can be. They embrace.

-Caroline, Doug, and Julie are worried about Maggie being with Victor at the moment. Hope joins them and tells them what happened with Bo. Hope says she is really afraid for him and what he may do. Caroline thinks they need to get the whole family together to come up with a way to help. Hope agrees since she will need all the help she can get to help Bo. Caroline takes Hope aside and asks Hope if she gets through to Bo, does all this mean she wants him back after everything. Hope says that Bo and her have alot to work through but it's worth a shot. Someone does have to reach Bo before it's too late or, otherwise, there will be no chance at a reunion.

-Maggie asks Victor what he isn't saying about the murders. Maggie beleives that Victor knows who did it and is protecting them. Victor tells Maggie to back off and asks what happened to staying away from each other. Maggie has no answer and thinks maybe it was meant for her to drop back into his life. Victor asks how long she has been drinking. Maggie denies drinking but Victor knows she did because she smelled of it when he found her near Chelsea. Maggie says she remembers finding a person lying on the ground and trying to help and then passing out so she must have been seeing Chelsea. Victor agrees. Maggie says that after she pushed Victor away she totally lost it. There was nothing to take her mind off the grief and pain of losing Mickey and blaming herself so she turned to the bottle and that is what happened. She admits that following Victor and being with him tonight has been the first time since they parted ways that she didn't think about Mickey and his death. Victor asks if she is saying she wants him back in her life. She says yes and she hugs him. Maggie says she doesn't want to drink again and that she hates herself for it. Victor says he will help her but that he has to go right now to take care of something. He says they will talk later and leaves.

-Bo is walking the pier and is remembering his life with Hope and many of his capers as a police officer. He remembers Victor's words and everything that happened at the hospital. He wonders if Victor is right and if he is on the right path. Sometimes you have to do whatever is necessary no matter what if you want real justice and security for those you love, even if it means pushing them away. Bo ends up at the Cheatin Heart and begins to drown his sorrows as he continues to remember the past and Hope.

-Frankie assures Abby that she will be ok and that it is best to be aggressive and put her heart on the line for Max. She thanks Frankie and embraces him. He wishes her luck and leaves.

-Max begs Chelsea not to shut him and everyone else out. She tells Max one last time to get out. He leaves but not before saying he cares about her and knows she is in pain. He is not just going to let her go. She tells him he has to and that she has already let everything go as she deserves nothing. Max denies that is true but Chelsea tells him to get out again and he finally leaves. Abby asks how it went. Max says he doesn't want to talk about and that he just wants to be alone. He runs off as Abby wonders what is going on. Meanwhile, Chelsea remembers shooting Jason and Barry and also them raping her. She begins to rock back and forth while crying and saying she knew she did bad things. She then yells out why she is having to suffer so much, especially when she was trying to change. She throws her water pitcher against the wall and says she is through. She cares about nothing and no one anymore. She is for herself only and is done trying to be good. She admits she hopes her rapists are rotting in hell.

-Billie again thanks Jack and says she needs to get back up to Chelsea. He walks her up and asks her to call if she needs anything. She tells him to do the same. He kisses her cheek and she smiles as he walks away, smiling himself.

-Hope, Doug, Julie, and Caroline find Maggie and ask if she is alright. Maggie says she is fine and that she just wants to go home. Hope asks if she would come with them as they are all getting together to try to find a way to help Bo. Maggie doesn't think she is in a condition to be much help but Hope begs her to. Maggie reluctantly agrees. Julie tells Maggie she won't regret this. Maggie privately says she wants no part of being around her family after Mickey's death and her being the person to blame. The pressure and stress once again leads her to being tempted to drink once again.

-Bo continues to down beers at the Cheatin Heart and begins to wonder if maybe he is making a mistake pushing Hope and his loved ones away and turning against everything he ever beleived in. He starts to doubt Victor's words and the effectiveness of taking the law into your own hands. Victor appears and says he knew he would find him there as he always goes there when he is upset. Victor tells Bo to beleive what he wants but asks that Bo mulls over an offer he has before he thinks any further about whose side he believes is right. Bo tells Victor he is listening.

-Kate arrives and Roman and Shane fill her in on Carrie's letter. Kate doesn't beleive Carrie would just leave being pregnant. Roman reminds Kate of all the danger with the Dimera's around. Kate thinks that things still don't fit and that this is not like Carrie. Kate thinks something else is going on. Lucas returns and says he agrees.

-Austin is in the woods and begins to lash out at the skies above. He asks why there is so much unhappiness and begs for answers as to why Carrie really left. He thinks there is more to it and thinks it may have something to do with her not knowing who the father is. He sees a shooting star and wishes that Carrie and the baby return. He thinks Carrie and him have a good chance at happiness after everything they have been through, especially if the baby is his like he thinks. Meanwhile, in the bushes nearby, Sami has overheard everything and is in shock. She can hardly beleive that Carrie and Austin made love behind their backs and that Carrie has no idea who the father is. Sami realizes that Carrie left because she didn'want to destroy Lucas or Austin and their family since she does not know the paternity. Sami looks at Austin and says she has lost him...just like she has lost Lucas too. The screen then fades to black and the credits roll.

-Caroline begs both Roman and Bo to stop fighting. Abe helps to break up the fight. Hope gets involved and takes Bo aside to ask what is wrong with him. She doesn't ever remember seeing so much rage from him. Bo reminds Hope that everyone is accusing him before they know anything and they are looking at him like he has 3 heads for wanting to protect Chelsea when the law doesn't. Bo tells Hope those men deserved to die but it doesn't mean he killed them. Roman says to Bo that everything he says almost hints around a confession of sorts. He asks Bo to give him a statement. Bo tells Roman he has a statement-he is through with him and with everyone else here. If they can't all see he is justified in taking matters into his own hands then they don't give a damn about justice or him and his daughter. Roman mentions to Bo that what he just said sounds like he is admitting involvement in the murders once again. Bo says he thought about killing them at one point but he merely want to catch them and get the truth out of them. He would beat the hell out of them but that is it. Roman says even that thought is a bad idea. Bo asks Roman what he would do. Sami was raped once and Bo is sure Roman wanted to kill Alan for it. Roman says he didn't know he was Roman then but sees Bo's point. He tells Bo it is still wrong and even beating the men to a pulp is wrong. Roman admits he may think the same way but he would find the strength to control himself and go by the book. Bo says he is through going by the book-he is through with everything. He is not going to let his daughter or anyone else he loves get hurt because they have to do things by the book. Frankie interupts and tells Bo he can represent him. Bo tells Frankie he doesn't need any help from anyone. He is through. His family can't seem to understand and they beleive so easily he would resort to murder it makes him wonder. He runs off. Hope goes after him. Dpug and Julie try to stop her as Bo needs to cool off but Hope goes anyway.

-Caroline is approached by Victor. Caroline says it all is falling apart. Victor notes that Caroline is going to say it started with their affair. Caroline agrees and blames Victor for encouraging Bo tonight to turn against him family and be a vigilante. Victor says he never did anything like that and that Bo is thinking on his own, despite Victor agreeing with him. Caroline can't beleive Victor has become what he swore he would never become again. Victor says he had no choice-he can't be a pathetic old geezer anymore. He needs to be ruthless and get the message out that Victor Kiriakis will strike back and do anything to protect his loved ones. Caroline says she can't condone the actions Victor is taking. Lexie already nearly got killed. Victor reminds Caroline there is no proof he caused that explosion. Caroline knows he did and is disappointed in him resorting to this and to justify it as saying he is protecting his loved ones is ridiculous. Victor explains that maybe it is besy they don't see each other as he can't have her getting in the way and judging him left and right. Victor explains that this is who he really is, not that pod Victor of the last 10 or so years. He has to do what is necessary-even if that means losing Caroline's respect. Caroline understands and asks if Victor is turning his back on her. Victor says apparently he is-he is turning his back on her and her family as they will do nothing but get in the way of what he needs to do. He says he has to do what is necessary. Caroline says she doesn't know who he is anymore and runs off. Victor privately says he is sorry but that he has to do this. Maggie, who has been overhearing, appears and asks if Victor is ok. Victor says as long as everyone he cares about is protected he will be. Doug and Julie see Maggie and Victor talking and are concerned about what may be going on as it seems Maggie is headed back in Victor's orbit right when he is returning to the underworld.

-Belle tries to reach out to Shanw but he rejects her by giving her the cold shoulder. Finally, he says goodbye to Doug and Julie and tells them to tell his parents he went home to start packing as he is leaving tomarrow. Doug and Julie are proud of him and say they will be there to see him off and will tell everyone where he went. Shawn looks at Belle and then walks off. Belle tearfully heads for the elevator saying she can't be around people while going through this. She leaves.

-Billie and Kate are caring for Chelsea, who seems to be having nightmares about the trauma she has endured. Max is outside. Abby knows he wants to go in. Max doesn't know if he should. Abby says she will go with him. They walk in as Chelsea wakes up to see Billie, Kate, Max, and Abby all there. She remembers the rape and all the awful things she was called. Chelsea grabs her head and starts yelling "No!!" Billie asks what is wrong. Chelsea tells them all to just get the hell out of her room. She doesn't want them there as she knows no one wants her. She is a lying and manipulative bitch as well as a whore. She is dirty and feels like scum. She doesn't deserve anyone. Max says he knows about her rape and it's ok. He just wants to be there for her. Chelsea tells them all to just leave. A nurse comes in and sedates her. They all leave where the nurse tells them to stay out until the doctor clears visitors again when Chelsea is calm. Billie is worried about her daughter and if she can make it through this. Kate comforts her. Abby reaches out to Max but he asks to be alone and walks off. Jack comes over and mentions that Abby must really like Max. Abby insists they are just friends. Jack says that she seems to want something more. Abby says maybe but she doesn't know if he does or if wants to make things work with Chelsea even though he broke up with her. Jack says he likes Max and it would be ironic considering Frankie and Jennifer. He encourages Abby to go after him but don't obsess. There are other men and he warns her to not set herself up for a fall. She promises not to. They hug. Max is on the roof thinking about Chelsea. He begins to lash out on why she has to go through what she is. He asks God to make Chelsea let him in so he can help. He wants to help and needs to. Frankie joins him and says that Max will get his chance. Max, who is holding back tears, and Frankie embrace as Frankie comforts him. Max breaks down in tears and repeatedly asks why this is happening as Frankie shrugs to say he has no clue.

-Austin, Lucas, and Sami aid in the search for Carrie. They wonder where Shane went. Shane then comes out of nowhere in the woods. Lucas asks where he has been. Shane says he has news and they need to call Roman. They all gather at the search command center. Roman arrives asking what is up. Shane gives Roman a letter he says is from Carrie. It explains that Alan was released from prison and mistakenly ended up on the island where they all were. He saved her life as the life of her and her baby were in danger and he brought her to a cabin near Green Mountain where he nursed her back to health and protected her as they still felt danger could be possible from the masterminds behind the island. She did not trust Alan before but she does now. She left the cabin last night to call home to meet them. Alan saved her life by pushing her out of the way of falling debris. Roman notes to himself that this is the cause of the torn jacket and blood. Carrie also explains how, given her trouble conceiving and the baby possibly heaving health problems as a result of her medical issues, she had to leave them all behind. She just couldn't take the pressure of raising her child in Salem as it may not be totally healthy and she just can't be around them all right now. She has mroe reasons but doesn't wish to discuss them. She says Alan is gone and that she plans to travel the world with the baby and spend time with her mother. Austin and Lucas ask Roman what the note says. He privately tells them the parts about Alan and then tells Sami everything minus the Alan stuff. Austin and Lucas are stunned and don't think this makes sense for Carrie. They agree something else is going on. Roman agrees and he asks Shane what is really up. Meanwhile, Carrie is tending to Alan and she tells Alan she is so happy Shane agreed to help. She just hopes everyone buys it as she couldn't come up with anything else. Alan thanks her for taking care of everything. Carrie says he did it for her and now she is returning the favor. She kisses his forehead as he smiles.

-Doug and Julie bump into an upset Caroline. They ask her what is wrong. She says it's Victor-he has returned to form. Julie asks if that means the "old" ruthless Victor. Caroline nods. Julie is worried about Maggie now.

-Victor tells Maggie they have to talk about what she saw. He drags her off but she tells Victor as he pulls her with him that she knows he didn't kill the men and that they were dead when he got there. She does know he intended to kill them and brought Nico with him. Victor says she is right. Maggie asks him why he didn't tell the police the story. Victor says he had his reasons. Maggie asks Victor, since he was on the scene before her since hse lagged behind, if he saw who killed Jason and Barry. Victor is silent.

-Hope catches up to Bo and begs him to listem. Bo insists he is through listening to everyone. They all don't beleive in him and are willing to support a system that lets two men out of jail to hurt his daughter again and endanger others. He tells Hope that none of this happens if she just tells him right away. Hope says Victor could've too but Bo says she is his wife and that is what hurts. He can't trust her. Hope says she can't trust him and she says he is right as she is one that didn't beleive in him and followed the same pattern tonight. She believed too easily he slept with Billie and now she instantly jumps to support the theory that Bo killed Jason and Barry. Bo says if Hope had not interupted and just let him do what he had to they would never have been free. Hope says she thought he would kill them as Bo tells Hope she beleives the same thing now. Hope says they have major issues. Bo says they have too many. Hope mentions Shawn and that he is most likely leaving town because the family is falling apart. Bo guesses that Hope is blaming that on him. She admits partly she is because he lied about Zack's death and to protect Chelsea. Bo says that Hope seems to be getting past her ill feelings towards Chelsea but now, given how she kept Chelsea's rape a secret and interupted him with Jason and Barry, he wonders if Hope is taking pleasure out of Chelsea's pain. Hope can't beleive he would say that and accuse her of that just as Bo wonders how she could instantly accuse him of sleeping with Billie in February and of killing those two men tonight. Hope says they just don't seem to know or trust each other anymore. Bo agrees and says this must be it. Hope asks if Bo is saying they are through. Bo says it seems that way and, after hesistation, says they are through. There is too much damage and he has lost faith in everything, including their relationship. He tells Hope it's over. Hope is stunned and asks if it is for good. Bo answers yes and that it is for good. Tears stream down Hope's eyes as Bo seems to be fighting back tears of his own and then he walks away. Hope starts to follow but then breaks down crying and crumples to the floor. Bo goes in the stairwell and privately breaks down.

-Billie and Kate watch Chelsea and wonder who did kill Jason and Barry. Billie says she hopes it was Victor but Bo was so mad and Chelsea was missing. Billie refuses to beleive Chelsea did it...or Bo. Kate and her go get some coffee. Abe approaches them and says they have a break in the murder case but it isn't good news. Billie asks what it is. Abe says that the gun used for the murders belonged to Bo. Meanwhile, a sedated Chelsea is have nightmares about both of her rapes and being beaten and verbally abused by the men. Chelsea says repeatedly that they had to pay and then says they did pay...with their lives. Chelsea flashes back in her sleep to breaking into Bo's car in the hospital lot and stealing the gun from his holster in the secret compartment of the glove compartment (where she remembers he had one in case of emergencies). We then see her find Jason and Barry only to shoot them both twice and kill them. Chelsea wakes up from the flashback and nightmares and says no one can know she killed them as the screen fades to black and the credits roll.

-At the hospital, everyone reacts to the news of Chelsea being missing. Roman is suspicious that she is gone and now her rapists are dead. Billie and Kate tell Roman that there is no way Chelsea killed the men. A nurse runs out and tells Billie they found her daughter in the stairwell. Roman follows Billie and Kate to Chelsea. Abby looks at Max and mentions that he isn't over Chelsea. Max says he will have to be if he wants to move on. Abby asks if he is going to go see her. Max says not right now and he is not sure if he wants to get involved. Max privately wonders if Chelsea pushing him away has something to do with her being attacked.

-Roman, Billie, Hope, and Kate barge in to Chelsea room asking where she has been. Chelsea says she went to look for her father and couldn't find him. Roman says her father left the hospital and no one knows where he is. Billie asks why she left the 9th floor as all of them are on that floor so if she were looking for Bo she would not have to leave it. Chelsea explains she thought he went out to get some air and she went outside to look. The nurse asks that the questions stop as Chelsea is getting upset and that isn't good right now. They all leave. Kate and Billie refuse to beleive Chelsea did it but they wonder if she may know who did and is hiding it. Roman says she would do that if her father or grandfather killed to protect her. Hope looks on worried.

-Austin and Lucas are worried sick about Carrie and call to see if there is anything new on the search front. They learn Shane went in to the woods to join the search and they lost contact. Austin tells Lucas that since Chelsea is ok they should get out there and see if they can help. Sami says she wants to go to. Austin and Lucas say goodbye to Kate and she tells them to keep her posted. Billie says the same.

-Shane can't beleive his eyes when he sees Carrie and Alan together. Carrie tells Shane about how Alan saved her on the island and brought her there for protection. He nursed her back to health and kept her there to protect her from those behind the island plot. She was worried they would come back to her and she heard no news so she was unsure about everything. She had a hard time trusting Alan so she escaped and called Sami. Alan caught her and Carrie says she thought he was going to attack her but he pushed her out of the way of falling debris and saved her. Shane remembers the blood and jacket and says it all makes sense now. He asks Carrie why she has not revealed herself. Carrie explains she owes Alan for his taking care of her and she knows her family and friends would put Alan though hell. He is not the same man and she knows that now and he served his punishment. Shane doesn't seem convinced and tells Carrie everyone is worried sick about her and she needs to reveal herself. Carrie says she isn't sure about doing that. Shane asks what else she isn't telling him. Carrie tries to ignore the issue but reluctantly agrees to tell him if he can promise to keep it a secret. Carrie tells Shane she doesn't know wh othe father of her baby is and it can be Lucas or Austin. She doesn't want to hurt either of them or destroy their family or Sami's life so she is afraid to go back and do that. Shane says she has to go back and it's wrong to keep secrets. Carrie remembers the plan Alan mentioned to her earlier and she tells Shane she has an idea but she needs his help. She tells Shane to give Alan a different identity so he will be in the clear and no one will bother him and to tell everyone she is ok and has left town to see her mother and travel the world. Shanw says that won't work because she has a baby. Carrie tells Shane to tell everyone she couldn't handle the pressure because the baby may have health problems and she doesn't want to burden anyone and so on. She just tells Shane to lie for her and let her leave Salem. She needs to do this for all those she cares about. She begs Shane. Shane thinks about it and Carrie again begs Shane to do this as it really is the best thing to do for everyone. Shane mulls over the idea while Carrie tends to Alan. Alan asks if she thinks he will help. Carrie says she hopes so or things may get messy. Meanwhile, Austin and Lucas decide to go out into the woods to join Shane and aid the search. Sami follows them.

-Celeste tells Abe there is much more heartache ahead for many of them. Abe says he doesn't think they can all take much more. Celeste says she is going to see Alexandra. Abe tells her to give her his love and says he will be here helping with the murder case.

-Nicole feels uncomfortable being around everyone as they have no reason to be there anymore. Eric agrees to take her home and Eric says goodbye to Roman and Caroline. Greta is wandering around too and agrees she has no reason to stay there so she heads for home. She sees Eric and Nicole kiss and Nicole asks Eric to promise that nothing will come between them. Eric vows that nothing will as he embraces her and looks at a staring Greta.

-Cal tells Roman he is leaving as it isn't his place to be here. Roman says he can stay. Cal says he doesn't want to get in the way but tells Roman to call if he needs anything or just to update him.

-Laura sees Jack comforting Billie. Frankie asks Laura if something is wrong. Laura said their may be but she will need to keep an eye on it. Frankie is confused.

-Laura agrees to take Alice home. Julie wonders where Maggie is and sees her come in. Julie asks where she was. Maggie explains she went for a walk and reminds Julie of her promise to lay off. Doug walks over and says Laura took Alice home. He asks if everything is ok. Maggie says it is fine as long as Julie stops being so obsessive about her life. Doug says she merely cares about her. Alice walks over and gives Maggie a hug, along with Laura. They give their love to her and ask her to call if she needs anything. Maggie nods and thanks them as they leave. Julie seems pleased that Maggie had a pleasent reaction and asks if Maggie wants some coffee. Maggie says no and that she needs to find someone. Julie tells Doug she has a feeling Maggie is in alot of trouble.

-Caroline is worried about Victor. She sees him walk in from the elevator and asks where he was. Victor says he went for a walk and ran into a friend. Caroline says he is a liar and she knows what he did as he hinted at his plans to her earlier before he left. Caroline asks him if he killed those boys. Roman says that is a good question as Victor felt responsible for Chelsea's first rape and is now justifying returning to the underworld with the premise that he is protecting his family and friends and not going to see them get hurt again. Victor explains that is right. Roman says that he will always think of Victor as a father because of Isabella but lately his actions have been radical and appalling. He had an affair with Caroline after staying out of her life for years, he is apparently behind the warehouse explosion and Lexie's attempted murder he just has no proof, and now he goes MIA when Chelsea's rapists are shot to death. Victor tells Roman to think what he wants but he is not going to let him smear his name through the mud without solid proof. Roman says who he is is enough proof. Victor laughs and tells Roman to back off and remember who he is dealing with. Victor explains he would never kill someone by merely shooting them. He would make it more elaborate or have it planned out. Roman explains normally he would but since those men came after Chelsea twice already he needed to act fast so he may have gone a different route this time. Maggie walks in and says Victor didn't kill anyone and she can prove it as she was with him. Doug and Julie hear this and are stunned. Maggie explains he ran into her outside and they were talking and that was it. Roman wonders if more is going on but says he will back off for now but he will be watching Victor. Caroline, Doug, and Julie are stunned that Maggie was with Victor after they pushed each other away. Maggie says they were only talking and that was it. Shawn comes in and says that Caroline, Doug, and Julie are needed as Bo is back. They race off. Julie and Caroline are reluctant to leave Victor with Maggie but race off anyway. Caroline whispers to Victor before she leaves that she knows something more is going on. Victor asks Maggie why she lied as she was never with him. Maggie says because he helped her again this morning she helped him again tonight. Maggie reminds them that when friends owe each other they pay up. Victor asks her how much she saw. Maggie asks him what makes him think she saw anything. Victor explains he can see it in her eyes that she saw something so he knows she followed him. He explains he needs to go see Bo but says they need to talk later.

-Hope asks where Bo has been. Billie, Kate, Jack, Abby, Max, Doug, Julie, Maggie, Abe,Belle, Shawn, Roman, and Victor are all present. Belle asks Shawn if there is anything she can do for him with everything going on. He looks at Belle and says she needs to get used to him not being there and urges her to start doing that now. Belle looks on heartbroken. Bo explains he went out to cool off. Roman asks where he went. Bo says he went for a walk. Abe asks if he had an alibi. Bo says to stop with the questions-it's not like he is a murder suspect. Roman says he is as he was MIA during the murders of Jason and Barry. Roman explains that Chelsea and Victor are under suspicion as well as they were missing too. Bo says that this is ridiculous. Caroline asks Bo if anyone saw him. Bo is angry that his own mother seems to think he may be responsible. Shawn tells Bo to just answer the questions as he looks guilty as sin right now. Bo is in a rage and tells Shawn he is sick and tired of him acting like a little prick. Hope tells Bo to back off. Bo tells Hope that she is the reason why all this is happening as she let them two bastards get away and she never told him about the rape until it was too late. Everyone is stunned to learn Chelsea was raped. Abby looks at Max, who runs out of the room. Abby runs after him. Kate asks Billie if she knew. Billie says she just found out herself.

-Victor reminds Bo he knew too but Bo says Hope is his wife and she has an obligation to tell him these things. He says he has never been so disgusted in his life with her and with everyone. Roman tells Bo to just calm down and explain where he was. Bo says he walked around the hospital and that was it. Roman orders a security camera check to see if they can substantiate everything. Bo is stunned by this and can't beleive people beleive he did this. Hope reminds him of his saying he was taking matters into his own hands and how he nearly killed the rapists before. Bo looks Hope in the eye and says he loses his cool but he would never just run off and kill two men. That would let them off too easy. He would beat the hell out of them until they confess but that is it. Bo says he has lost faith in a system that has failed him too many times and now it appears many of his loves ones have lost in faith in him, although some lost it before. He looks at Hope and Shawn. He left with the intention of doing something but he didn't. Roman says that it will have to be proven. Victor says he agrees with Bo that something needed to be done but it doesn't mean Bo or him killed the men. They may have had many enemies. Roman and Caroline both warn Victor to stay out of it but Victor says he won't stand by and watch Bo get blasted by his own family. Roman says no one believes he did it but they need to do this by the book. Bo says by the book is how his daughter ended up where she is and he is not going to stand by and watch her or someone else get hurt because the system and doing things by the book is going to let punks out of jail to hurt again. Victor agrees. Roman loses patience and says it must be like father like son as Bo is showing his true colors. Bo and the rest of the room is stunned. Bo says that now the truth is really out and he knows how Roman feels. Bo tells Roman he has no right to say that to him as he has only been Roman again for a few days. He doesn't even feel like his brother. Bo says that Cal feels more like his brother. Roman reminds Bo that there was a long time when he beleived he was his brother. Bo says that was years ago and alot has happened. Caroline begs him to stop it but Bo says he won't. No one believes him and in his character so he is through with Roman..with all of them. He says they all have no right to act as if they are putting him and Victor on trial in the here and now without proof. Bo says if they are all turning their backs on him and not beleiving in him all at once like this then he is going to do the same. They all want to do things by the rules and see people they love get hurt that is fine. He is not going to do that no longer. Victor says Bo is right. Caroline begs Victor to stop jumping in. Roman asks Bo if what he just said is a confession as he mentioned not standing by and watching others getting hurt by doing things according to the system. Roman says he knows Bo and asks how far Bo went this time to protect his family. Bo tells him he can go to hell and punches him, sending him to the floor. Roman gets up and is held back by Abe as both Bo and Roman coldly stare at each other as the rest of the room watches the Brady family fall apart. The screen then fades to black and the credits roll.

Hope to Bo: This is it, isn't it?

Bo to Hope: Yeah...it's over.

-Victor checks for Chelsea's pulse and can't find one. He begs her to hold on. Nico arrives and Victor tells him to take Maggie away. Nico asks what happened to her. Victor thinks she got drunk and passed out but she seems fine. He tells her to take her back to his mansion and keep her there so no one sees her. It is probably what she would want. Nico leaves carrying Maggie. Victor calls 911 and then calls Bo to let him know he found her and it isn't good. Victor tells him to meet them at the hospital and to let the others know. Bo calls Hope, who is with Billie. Hope hangs up and tells Billie that Chelsea is on her way to the hospital. Victor found her and she is hurt. Billie and her race off.

-Nico is carrying Maggie when she comes to. Maggie hits Nico until he puts her down. Nico explains to her that Mr Kiriakis found her and told him to take her to his house so no one would see her. Maggie says she is fine and doesn't need any help. She tells Nico to leave. Nico says he has orders. Maggie tells him to leave or she will scream and say he kidnapped her. Nico reluctantly leaves. Julie and Laura are nearby as they left the courthouse to get some fresh air while they wait to hear about Chelsea. They see Maggie in the park and walk up to her. They are both glad to see her and ask where she has been and why she has not answered their messages. It didn't even seem like she was home this morning when they stopped by to see if she wanted to join them for Chelsea's hearing. Maggie says she was out walking all night. She needed to get out to think and she was just overcome with memories. She tells them it is none of their business anyway. Julie looks at her and says she looks like hell. Julie thinks she has fallen off the wagon. Maggie denies it and says she hasn't even thought about it. The last thing she wants to do is disappoint Mickey and her family even though they are already as she is the reason Mickey is dead. Laura tells Maggie that is not true. Maggie insists it is. Julie gets the phone call about Chelsea. Julie tells Maggie to come with them. Maggie, thinking it will be a good way to get them all off her back for awhile, agrees to go if they lay off her. Julie and Laura agree and they race to the hospital.

-At the hospital, Abe tells Celeste that Lexie is doing well. Celeste says she has a bad feeling about Chelsea and what is to come. She tells Abe she sees death casting a pall around Salem as they speak. Jack, Abby, Max, Shawn, Belle, Sami, Austin, Lucas, Kate, Roman, Cal, Alice, Caroline, Julie, Doug, Greta, Eric, Nicole, Laura, and Maggie have all gathered. Everyone is glad to see Maggie out and about. Maggie remains silent and just nods. Shawn mentions that he shouldn't even be there as he doesn't give a damn if Chelsea lives or dies. Belle tells him not to say that. Shawn says it's the truth but he won't have to deal with her much longer regardless as he is leaving. Belle tells him she is not letting him go. Shawn says he is not giving her a choice. Kate is worried sick about Chelsea. Lucas and Austin tell her it will be ok. Kate says she already has one future grandchild missing with Carrie being MIA but losing Chelsea would be too much. Bo, Hope, and Billie arrive. Bo tells Billie to have faith that it isn't as bad as Victor said. Kate and Billie comfort each other.

-The ambulance arrives and Victor races in with Chelsea. Billie, Bo, Hope, and Kate see Chelsea bleeding, bruised, and battered and ask what happened. Victor says she mentioned the names Jason and Barry. Bo says those are the two guys that...and then stops seeing everyone around. Billie takes notice and follows Bo and Hope into the ER. Billie asks Bo what he was going to say. Bo says it's not the time and place. Billie demands the truth right now. Bo says it has to be kept quiet and that is why he kept it quiet for the last few days. Bo tells Billie Jason and Barry raped Chelsea during the organized drug operation that Victor set up back in May in a effort to help find Philip. It was the night Josh died and they both raped her and now it seems they hurt her again. Hope goes to wait outside. Chelsea begins to wake up. Bo asks her what happened and to her dad. Chelsea says they wanted to hurt her because she told on them and because he came after them. They wanted to pay her back and they called her dirty and a slut. Bo asks her what they did. Chelsea says they beat her and they forced her and then she passes out. Bo walks off in a rage as Billie says how could this happen twice and this time she even got beat up. Bo says maybe he should not have gone after them but the DA let them slide after they retracted and Chelsea was refusing putting them in jail out of fear of them and of the public. Billie says he was wrong to take matters into his own hands but understands it. She is furious she didn't know. Hope comes in and asks what Chelsea told them. Bo informs her and says this is all her fault. If she had told him sooner and had not stopped him when he had the rapists, none of this happens. Hope says she feels bad for not telling him but not for stopping him from killing the men. Bo says they deserve to die for this. Victor comes in and says he is partly to blame too as the operation he organized got her into this and he knew of the rape and kept it a secret. Billie asks how many others know. Bo says that's it. Bo and Billie agree the drug operation was not Victor's fault as he did it for Philip but they should have been told sooner about the rape. Victor apologizes. Bo looks at Hope and says especially since she is his wife and she lectured him about trust. Hope says Chelsea wanted it that way. Billie says that Hope should've known better and now look what happened. The doctor comes out and backs up Chelsea's claims that she was most likely raped again. He says Chelsea will be fine but emotionally there is no telling. Bo is furious and asks Hope if she is happy. She let Chelsea off with a break for killing Zack but Chelsea got a much worse punishment now. He asks Hope if she is pleased now as she comes off looking good and still gets to see his daughter punished. Hope says it was never like that. Chelsea was changing so Hope gave her another chance and she never wanted this to happen. Billie says she can't beleive that and either can Bo, who tells Hope he can't deal with her right now. Shawn comes in after hearing everything and tells Hope not to worry about dad. Hope says that Bo is right-it does make her feel good deep down for what Chelsea did and she hates that. She asks Shawn what is wrong with her. Shawn says nothing is and embraces her.

-Abby can see Max is worried about Chelsea. Abby says she is worried too and even after everything she can see he still cares. Max says he hopes she is ok.

-Bo and Billie announce that Chelsea will be fine but she is shook up and hurt pretty bad. Bo fills Roman in and says they need to find Jason and Barry. Roman says they need Chelsea a statement because otherwise they can't do anything. Bo says that those guys need to be off the street. They already were let go once and he let them go because of Hope. They can't get off again. Roman says their hands are tied without a statement from Chelsea. Bo throws the coffee pot across the room getting everyone's attention. Bo says he will not let his daughter or anyone else get hurt again and says he is sick of these rules. Roman urges Bo to calm down, as does Caroline. Victor says that Bo is right. The rules only let loved ones get hurt and he learned that. Caroline warns Victor to stay out of it. Victor says the system is easily manipulated and can't be trusted. Roman tells Victor he will always respect him because of Isabella but after his affair with Caroline recently and with him seemingly getting back to his crime roots with his alleged involvement in the warehouse explosion, he can't listen to his words of wisdom right now. Hope tells Bo to listen to his family and let everything just play out. Bo looks at Billie and asks her if she has faith the system will punish who hurt their daughter. Billie says she is only concerned with Chelsea and that it is best to let the chips fall as they may right now. Bo is disgusted that they can all beleive in something that let two punks get away with rape the first time so they could just do it again. Bo says he lost faith in the system before and went back to give it another chance but not anymore. He is taking matters into his own hands. Roman warns Bo not to do anything rash. Bo walks out. Hope follows and begs Bo not to do anything stupid. Bo looks at her and warns her not to get in his way this time and walks off. Roman asks Hope where Bo went. Hope says she doesn't know and that is what scares her.

-Caroline lashes out at Victor for supporting Bo turning his back on the system. Victor says it's true and that too many have been burned by it for it to not be true. Caroline says it makes her sick seeing him becoming what he said he would never be again. Victor walks off and says to Caroline it makes him sick seeing what is happening to his loved ones and he needs to do something about it. Caroline looks at Victor and asks him what he is going to do. Victor walks off as Caroline worries what he may do. Maggie is nearby and hears the whole exchange. She hears Victor call Nico, who explains what happened with Maggie. Victor says it's fine but he needs his help on making sure the men thay hurt Chelsea pay for their actions. Victor leaves the hospital, with a curious Maggie on his tail.

-Chelsea is moved to a private room. Kate thanks the doctor, who tells Billie and her not to bother Chelsea as she is sedated. Meanwhile, a groggy Chelsea is having a dream about Jason and Barry hitting her and calling her slut. They are all over her and then she wakes up. She gets out of bed and says if being good didn't work maybe being bad will. She limps to the door and sneaks past the nurses desk and into the stairwell.

-Shawn asks Hope if she is ok. She says she is worried about Bo. Doug and Julie tell her that everything will be fine. Julie notices Maggie is missing. Caroline joins them and Hope asks her if she is ok as she looks upset. Caroline says she is fine. Roman comes over and says he can't find Bo anywhere. Caroline asks about Victor. Roman asks why she would ask that and asks if Victor is missing. He sees the look on Caroline's face and remembers Victor supporting Bo earlier. He calls the station and tells them to keep a lookout for Detective Bo Brady and Victor Kiriakis. Meanwhile, Billie goes in to check on Chelsea and finds her missing. She races in to the waiting area and announces Chelsea's gone right as Roman gets a phone call...telling him Jason and Barry were just found dead in the river. Roman announces the news to everyone. Caroline, Hope, and Billie look on worried as the screen fades to black and the credits roll.

On the next "Salem Lives:"

Carrie to Shane: I am begging you...please don't tell anyone I am here.

Abby to Max: Are you sure you are really over her?

Caroline to Victor: Did you do it? Did you kill those boys?

Maggie: No, he didn't.

Julie to Maggie: Where did you go?

Hope to Bo: Brady...you didn't do what I think you did...please say you didn't.

Billie to Chelsea: Chelsea, I need to know where you were.

Bo to Roman: I am done with you...with all of you!!!!

-Kayla is on board a flight to Austrailia. She tells Steve she is on her way and that she will find him. She remembers their life together and says there is so much more for them to come as they will finally be a family with Stephanie.

-Abe and Celeste await word from the doctor, who is examining Lexie after her surgery the previous night. Stefano joins them. Abe tells him to get out but Celeste urges him not to start trouble. Stefano does have a right to be there and Alexandra is more important then attacking Stefano. The doctor comes out to tell them he has bad news. Abe asks if his wife is going to live. Stefano notes that Abe left his daughter and should not pretend to be concerned. Celeste tells Stefano that Abe does care and loves Alexandra. The doctor informs them that Lexie slipped into a coma. Her body sustained major trauma and it will take days before her internal injuries heal. Stefano asks what her chances are for survival. The doctor says about 50/50. They just need to hope and pray. The doctor tells them that Lexie is going to go for many more tests so no visitors until at least the evening hours as they plan to move her into a more private room her father arranged for. Abe stares coldly at Stefano. Lexie is wheeled out. Abe and Celeste give their love and urge her to keep fighting for Theo. Stefano urges the same and whispers to her a assurance that Victor will pay for what he did. She is wheeled away. Abe and Celeste decide to go to Chelsea's hearing while Stefano bides his time in the hospital. He goes on the roof and calls his associate to tell him they will plot their response to Victor slowly and calculately so it will be effective. He will pay for what he did to his daughter and so will his loved ones.

-Cassie runs into Caroline, who is on her way to the courthouse for the hearing. Caroline asks her how life in the Dimera house is. Cassie says she loves it. Caroline reminds her she will always be a part of her family. Cassie thanks her and asks where Kayla is since she was living with Caroline above the Pub. Caroline says she is out of town at a medical conference in Chicago. She tells Cassie she needs to go and asks if she is coming. Cassie says she will see. Cassie returns to the Dimera mansion where a Dimera henchman bursts in looking for Stefano. Cassie asks what the problem is. The henchman says he should really tell Stefano. Cassie orders him to tell her. The henchman says that Patrick Lockhart spilled everything to Kayla Brady and now she is off to find her husband Steve. Cassie asks if Stefano would be unhappy with this and the henchman says he would be. Cassie says she will tell him and calls him. She asks to meet him so she meets him on the hospital roof and informs him of the news regarding Kayla. Cassie tells Stefano that Kayla learning the truth is a lucky break for them as she has an idea. They can trap Kayla and use her to lure other Brady's into the trap and draw Victor in too. This could be their revenge against Victor and those he loves. Stefano thinks that is brilliant and says they were lucky. He thanks Cassie and says she is proving to be a force in the Dimera family. Hr urges her to keep up her good status with the Brady's as that may come in handy. He asks if betraying the Brady's is a problem for her. Cassie says it isn't-whatever it takes to protect the Dimera family.

-Roman, Kate, Cal, Shane, Austin, and Lucas continue to react to the blood being Alan's. He reminds them all to keep this quiet, especially to Sami. Sami arrives and asks if something is wrong. Roman says nothing and tells them all they should all get going for Chelsea's hearing. There is nothing they can do to find Carrie. Shane says he will stay behind and monitor everything and let them know. Lucas says they should go as Carrie would want them to support their family. Roman, Kate, Cal, Austin, Sami, and Lucas leave. Shane decides to aid the search and to check out the woods.

-Carrie continues to care for Alan. Alan thanks her for staying. Carrie says it is the least she can do after everything he did for her. She says she knows he has changed now. Alan says he is grateful she trusts him now. Carrie says she was shocked when he didn't get angry about her calling home. Alan says he understands and was never holding her against her will. He was only trying to protect her and the baby from danger. Carrie understands. Alan asks how Sami was when she talked to her. Carrie says she was Sami. Alan asks if she is going to return to her family now. Carrie explains to him what happened last night with them finding the blood and the jacket. She explains her family and loved ones would never understand and would make Alan's life hell, especially Sami, Plus, she needs to be there for him after everything he did for her and she has the baby to think about. She doesn't know what she is going to do. Alan asks what she means. Carrie says she needs to talk to someone about this and begs him to stay silent. He agrees and says she knows she can trust him. Carrie tells him that she slept with both Lucas and Austin and has no idea who the father of the baby is. She doesn't want to hurt either guy or break Sami's heart as she knows Sami finally has Austin and has finally changed. Her sister is happy finally and, if the baby is Austin's, she is back to square one. Carrie says she just can't put everyone through that. Alan says he has an idea but it's extreme and she probably will hate it. He tells her to just leave Salem for good and stay away to raise the baby. Carrie is intrigued by the idea but says she can't take a baby away from it's father. They then hear a noise. Carrie is scared and wonders who it is. Realizing she never locked the door, she runs over but the door slowly opens. Carrie is stunned to see Shane on the other side of it just as he is shocked to find her...with Alan.

-Victor is getting ready for the trial. Nico tells Victor that Stefano appears to know what they did and will be looking for revenge. Victor says let him bring it on as this is war. He only needs to make sure his loved ones don't get hurt so he tells Nico to send some men out to watch some of his loved ones from a distance. Nico says he already sent someone out to protect Philip in San Francisco. Victor says they will make another attempt to get revenge on Stefano and all his enemies but they need to take it slow and plot their next move slowly. They can't fail again.

-Billie arrives at the courthouse with Jack. She thanks Jack for joining her. He says he needs to be there for her as she has for him through everything. They embrace as Laura arrives, clearly bothered by seeing them together. Frankie arrives and promises Billie that everything with Chelsea will be fine now with Hope being lenient. Alice, Doug, and Julie arrive along with Abby and Max. Julie tells Laura they called Maggie and even stopped by and no answer. Doug thinks Maggie wasn't even home. They are very worried. Laura reminds them to just give her some more time and maybe once they put their little plan into action things will get better. Alice is sure it will.

-Eric and Nicole arrive and are shocked to see Greta there. Greta says she came to support the Brady's and Horton's. Greta asks how everything is. Nicole says it is great now that Eric is actually with her. She was worried sick the night before but says he more then made up for it when he came back to the suite. Greta gives Eric a look of disgust and says she is glad things are well. She goes to speak with Jack as Nicole tells Eric never to leave her that long without talking to her again.

-Hope arrives with Shawn. Belle follows them in. She asks Shawn if they can talk before the hearing but Shawn says he has nothing to talk to her about. Belle says they do need to talk...about their future now that he is leaving. Hope overhears and asks what he means. Roman, Sami, Austin, Lucas, Cal, and Kate arrive along with Caroline, Abe, and Celeste. Shawn then says he may as well tell everyone now that he is leaving Salem and joining the Marines. Everyone is stunned. Hope is livid. Bo walks in at this moment with Victor behind him. Hope looks at Bo and says it is all his fault. Bo is stunned and asks Shawn if he is leaving because of him and all the family problems. Shawn admits that is partly it but he is also doing this for himself. He needs this and needs to finally grow up and to give purpose to his life. He has been through so much and he just feels it's right. Doug, Julie, and Alice say they are proud of him and that it is very admirable. Caroline thinks the same and Victor says it is a nice gesture to honor Philip. Shawn says that is partly why he is doing it. He looks at Belle and then says among other reasons. Hope and Bo say they are both proud but can't stand the thought of losing another child. Shawn says if it is meant to be it will happen and says they can't change his mind. Hope looks at Bo and then asks Shawn if things were different would he still leave. He says probably not but you can never be sure. Belle touches Shawn's shoulder, which bothers Kate, and asks to talk to him. Shawn says to just stay away from him and walks away. Kate walks up to Belle and tells her karma is a bitch. Hope tells Bo that it is all their fault. Their family is on shambles. Bo says most of the blame is on himself. Hope says they have so much to work through and that Shawn going away will make it tougher. They all walk into the courtroom and wonder where Chelsea is. Billie calls her cell and home and can't find her. Billie says to Bo that she must be missing. Bo says not to panic and that maybe she is afraid to come. Billie says that she was fine with it when they talked because of Hope's change of heart. Billie says something is wrong and that she can feel it. A baliff tells Bo that the judge is ready as Bo says they need to find Chelsea. Roman tells the judge there is a situation and he, Bo, Victor, Hope, Abe, Celeste, Austin, Lucas, Jack, Max, and Abby all go to look for her. Celeste tells Abe she has an awful feeling about this. They all split up to find her.

-Max wonders what trouble Chelsea may have gotten into this time. Abby says she is probably just scared but Max says it is probably something worse...it always is.

-Hope and Billie search Salem Place. Billie tells Hope she has a bad feeling-just like the night that Chelsea fell in the sewer. Hope says she is sure that Chelsea is fine.

-Victor is searching the pier and he hopes something bad hasn't happened to his family again. He wonders if this is Stefano's revenge somehow and that maybe he has Chelsea. He looks around and sees a woman on the ground near some crates. He runs over and sees that it's a passed out Maggie. Victor notices the blood on her hands and sees that Maggie doesn't appear hurt. He turns around and is appalled by what he sees a few short feet from where he found Maggie. He races over and picks up the unconscious body of a bruised and battered Chelsea as the screen fades to black and the credits roll.

Victor: Those bastards will pay for this.

Bo to Hope: This is all your fault!!!

Billie: What the hell is going on here? I demand the truth right now!!!

Julie to Maggie: You look like hell. My God, you have fallen off the wagon.

Roman to Hope: Where's Bo?

Hope to Roman: I don't know...and that is why I am afraid

Bo: I am going to put an end to this right now.

-Max and Abby arrive at the park as they are attending a special ceremony to remember 9/11. Alice, Doug, Julie, and Laura are there as well. Abby and Max greet them. Julie mentions they asked Maggie to come but she still is not answering their calls and stopping by may only make things worse. Laura reminds Julie to just give Maggie some more time while they out their plan in motion. Abby asks what their plan is. Doug tells her she will just have to see for herself when it happens.

-Billie and Jack are just sitting back eating the food she brought for him. They see all the 9/11 coverage and Billie mentions all the ceremonies going on. Jack mentions that Abby is at the one in the park. billie mentions how it reminds you how short life is. Jack insists that is why he has to move on. Jennifer would want that for his sake and their family's. Frankie comes down with Jack Jr. Jack asks where they are going as it seems they are leaving. Frankie says that Abby called and asked if they wanted to join Max and her. He didn't think Jack wanted to go and he asked Billie but she insisted on staying with him. Jack wonders if he should go too. Jennifer would like that if she were with him and he was married to a Horton so it keeps the family's good name. Billie tells Jack it would be good for him to get out and it helps with the moving on process. Jack agrees and says he will go. Billie and him get their coats and follow Frankie and JJ out.

-Caroline sees Kayla packing and asks where she is going. Kayla, realizing telling anyone would just hinder her in her search and may complicate things, says she is going to a medical conference in Chicago. Caroline asks for how long. Kayla says maybe a week but she may stay longer to visit a friend. Kayla reminds her mother that her intention was to not stay in Salem for good. Caroline understands but she got so used to having her around. Kayla insists she will be back soon. Caroline asks if Kayla heard the good news about the man she thought was her brother (Faux Roman). Kayla says she hasn't and Caroline tells her that he hit his head and had a memory that he is Cal Winters. Kayla is shocked and asks Caroline if he is the same Cal Winters that nearly killed her and Kim, as well as Shane and Roman. Caroline says she doesn't know and never thought of that as it has been years. Kayla says she remembers and hopes it isn't true and is merely a coincidence or something. Caroline says that Cal has no memory of anything so he is harmless at the moment. They both agree to just hope for the best. Kayla hugs her mother and tells her to tell everyone else goodbye for her and that she will be back. Caroline wishes her well. As she leaves, Kayla tells herself she hates to do this alone but anyone else getting involved may hold her back or scare off whoever is holding Steve once she arrives. It will be easier for her to sneak in and out and do this on her own. She has enough experience having two cops as brothers and being involved in everything she has been. She vows to bring Steve home with her and tells him she is on her way to find him.

-Shane arrives on the scene right after Roman broke the news about the forensics results. Roman fills him in. Austin and Lucas still have hope but both Sami and Kate begin to beleive the worst. Roman and Shane catch up. Roman asks Shane how the ISA conference was. Shane says it was fine and very influential but he feels it is inappropriate to discuss that with his daughter being missing. Shane then hears Roman call Faux Roman "Cal" and asks why he called him that. Roman tells him about the fall and Faux Roman remembering he was Cal. Shane asks for a last name. Cal tells him "Winters" Shane brings up the Cal Winters that was a army lieutenant and kidnapped Kayla and Kim while also trying to kill Roman and him. Roman tells Shane he already thought about that and that has to be merely a coincidence. There is no way he could be Cal. He also notes that he has no memory anyway so there are no problems. Roman then gets a call that interupts them. Shane seems very bothered by Cal. Cal asks if there is a problem. Shane says not yet. Roman announces to everyone he has more bad news-the hairs on the torn jacket are Carrie's so it is likely it belongs to her. Lucas runs off, saying that Carrie is not gone and is still out there. Sami, on instinct, runs after him while Kate tells Austin it is nothing but denial. Something bad had to happen to Carrie. Austin says he knows and he just hopes the baby and her are fine. Nearby, Carrie has left the cabin to get some supplies to help her and Alan. She sees her father, Cal, Shane, Austin, and Kate and decides to reveal herself to them. Sami catches up to Lucas and tells him there is nothing he can do. They just need to hope it isn't as bad as it seems. Lucas breaks down saying he can't lose his child and another chance at happiness with a woman he loves. Sami embraces him and comforts him, saying it will be all be ok.

-Nicole is near the Brady Pub looking for Eric. She is really worried that he hasn't called and wonders what is going on. Meanwhile, at the hospital, Eric reacts to Greta now knowing he has a brain tumor. Greta asks how he found out. Eric says he was in Paris doing some shots of a French village when he just got this massive headache and collapsed. He was rushed to the hospital and they examined and ran tests and found the tumor. He doesn't know how long it was there and so on. He had been getting headaches for weeks prior to collasping but he thought nothing of them and beleived they were caused by the aftereffects of a concussion he sustained in Africa. Greta remembers Eric using the head injury as a cover for his dizzy spells on the island. Eric says he has been to so many doctors in the last year, including specialists, and his chances are less then 20% survival, that is why he returned to Salem to be with his loved ones. He needed Nicole as she was the woman he always thought about and he never could get her out of his heart, despite everything. Greta says she knows and Eric apologizes saying he loved her too and still does. Greta asks if he even tried any treatment but Eric says it would be futile-there is nothing that can be done other then go for treatments that will make him even sicker. He has been taking meds to make him comfortable so that is why he has been MIA alot so he can meet and get the meds and also why he has had many secret phone calls. He just wants to be happy in his final days as he can go at any time and he begs Greta to keep his secret. No one can know or they will pity him and push him to go through treatment that won't do anything but make things worse. Greta reminds Eric that Nicole is worried and already has Sami and her trying to help her find out his secret. He needs to tell Nicole. Eric begs Greta that if she ever loved him she will do as he asks-almost like granting his dying wish. Greta hates him using that to make her stay quiet. Greta tells him to at least call Nicole now to tell her he is ok. She is probably worried. He calls and Nicole lashes out at him for keeping her worried. She asks where he is calling from as it says on her cell the hospital. Eric says he just went out for a walk and lost track of time. Nicole hears whispering in the background and asks who is there with him. He gives Greta the phone and asks her to help him out as he is still a little out of it. Greta answers and tells Nicole that Eric got stuck at the hospital because his family was here. She tells Nicole about Lexie Carver and that Bo came in with a injury so things just got hectic. Nicole says she was there when they found Lexie but didn't know about Bo. She asks if there is anymore to say. Greta looks at Eric and says no. Eric takes the phone back and apologizes to Nicole again. Nicole says she will forgive him later in bed. He says he can't wait and says he loves her. After he hangs up, Greta is furious but Eric thanks her for doing a good thing. Greta knows she will regret this and says she will get his release papers.

-Hope chases Bo down as Bo asks her when she will give up. Hope reminds him that he did the same thing to her when he wanted to talk things out. Bo says that's right and that Hope treated him like crap. He is just returning the favor. Hope says that he is being immature. Bo fires back saying then she was being immature for weeks when he wanted to speak with her about their relationship. Hope says that they are doing nothing but going in circles and blaming each other left and right for one thing after another. Bo agrees and says they have alot between them right now and he doesn't know if they can overcome the conflict they have to. Bo admits he used to have faith they could but everything with Chelsea and Hope not telling him about the rape and all-he doesn't know if there is anything left to save. Hope says there might be if they talk. Bo asks her where she was when he wanted the same thing-to talk. Hope admits it may have taken her a while to want to talk but she wants to now. Bo looks at her and says that he isn't sure if he wants to right now or if he even could. He needs to get back on Chelsea's rape case. Hope tells him to stay out of the case as it's too personal. Bo tells Hope not to tell him what to do and that she should stay out of it. She is only making things worse. He tells her he will see her at Chelsea's sentencing hearing tomarrow. Hope wonders if there is any hope left for Bo and her, as does Bo.

-Sami and Lucas return to the group. Sami gets a call from Will, who needs help with something, so she goes off to get a better connection. Lucas joins Kate, Austin, Cal, and Shane. Shane tells Lucas that Roman is being given more news right now. Lucas says that things couldn't get any worse. Carrie hears all this and is sure she needs to reveal herself. Roman tells everyone he just learned something very disturbing. Austin tells Roman to just hit them with it. Roman says he must make sure no one tells Sami anything about this until they get all the facts. They all stare at Kate, who reluctantly agrees, as everyone else does. Roman tells them the blood on the pavement under the debris matched up with Alan Harris. They are all confused and stunned. Roman insists that none of this gets out to anyone, especially Sami. He says that Alan should be out of prison now that he thinks of it and, if he is involved somehow with Carrie being missing or does anything to his daughters, he will see him dead first. Carrie overhears Roman say this and says that she can't reveal herself. It would cause too many problems with Sami, Austin, Lucas and her family and after everything Alan did for her she needs to be there for him now. She can't if she reveals herself. She has no idea what she is going to do but she can't reveal herself. She heads back to the cabin to tend to Alan.

-The attendants at the 9/11 ceremony are given candles. Frankie, JJ, Billie, and Jack arrive and so does Caroline. Caroline greets Alice, Julie, Doug, and Laura and then stands near Frankie, Max, and Abby. Laura is bothered by seeing Jack and Billie together but keeps mum. Fr. Jansen then leads the group in prayer and then later in singing "Amazing Grace." Alice then says that she is sure all their loved ones are watching over them, including Tom. Doug, Julie and Laura embrace her as Max puts his arms around Abby and the crowd then goes into a moment of silence as "God Bless America" plays.

-Maggie is still drunk and looks outside the windown. She does see Chelsea being held next to the window. Maggie turns away to pack up the liquor she wishes to take. Jason and Barry then drag Chelsea off just as Maggie walks outside and just misses seeing them. They take Chelsea to a old supply room near the pier. They tell her she is going to pay for her daddy coming after them and for her telling others what they did to her. They tell she asked for it. Chelsea says she never asked for anything. She just was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Barry tells her the way she dresses and acts is almost like an open invitation for guys to have their way with her. Jason asks her how he knows how she acts. Barry tells him he knows that the guy that nearly killed them was Bo Brady, Victor Kiriakis's son. Jason asks if they should be messing with Victor's granddaughter. Barry says he will never know and that nothing can be done if no one knows. He looks at Chelsea and tells her to keep her mouth shut this time. Chelsea begs them not to hurt her again. Barry tells her no one will ever want her. She is a dirty slut that half the town hates for killing her kid brother. She should be lucky Jason and him are willing to enjoy her company. Chelsea begs them to stop but they refuse and both ment begin to kiss her. Chelsea throws them off her and makes a run for it. Jason grabs her and throws her the ground, saying she isn't going anywhere. Barry agrees and says she owes them for what she did to them. They nearly died at her father's hands and almost went to jail. She needs to accept her punishment and understand that she can't ever do that to them again so mum's the word. If she says anything this time, she won't say another thing at all. Chelsea spits in Jason's face and then Barry slaps her, saying she will pay for that and everything else. Chelsea gets up but is thrown against the wall. She falls to the floor and begs them once more. Jason and Barry look at each other and laugh as they move in on Chelsea as the screen fades to black and the credits roll.

"SALEM LIVES" INSIDER-9/10/06 EDITION

SALEM LIVES' BO, HOPE, AND CHELSEA: SHATTERED!!!

The Brady family falls apart from all ends this week on Salem Lives when Bo and Hope call it quits and Chelsea once again finds herself in more trouble. The week begins with Bo and Hope still at odds over Chelsea's rape and the current state of their marriage. "They have major trust issues and we are trying to drive that home," says HW Tim Lowery. "Hope believed far too easily that Bo jumped in bed with Billie when he didn't and Hope kept Chelsea's rape from Bo and he sees that as something far too important to withhold. Plus, this allowed the evidence trail to get cold and Bo has nothing on the rapists. Hope stopped him from taking justice into his own hands so he is furious with her and is treating her how she treated him when he wanted to talk." While those two argue, the source of all the problems between them finds herself in another pickle. "Chelsea's rapists kidnap her," reveals Lowery. "Maggie is in Chez Rouge getting more liquor and hears something. She is just too drunk to do anything." Chelsea is then taken away after Maggie fails to see her and tragedy strikes yet again. "They practically torture her," says Lowery. "They call her slut and dirty and say she wanted what they gave her. It is really demented but we are trying to do something powerful here." The scene then goes black before we see what happens. The next day, everyone gathers for Chelsea's hearing. "Most of the Brady's and Horton's are there and this sets the stage for fireworks," previews Lowery. "Everyone knows Chelsea isn't going to prison but they gather anyway to get some closure to Zach's death and everyone is vulnerable and on edge. Shawn announces his intentions to leave town causing more strife for Bo and Hope and Victor is at odds with Caroline and Roman...everything is a mess," notes Lowery. Things get worse when Chelsea is missing from the hearing. "She is nowhere to be found so Bo, Roman, Billie, Hope, Max, and Victor go look for her," previews Lowery. "Victor finds her (and also something...or someone...else) and then things take several frightening turns and, by week's end, when the dust finally settles, you have Bo and Hope saying it's over and Bo and Victor turning their back on the Brady's. As for why all this happens, you will just have see how it unfolds," teases Lowery. "I will say one thing...it will be very powerful and will send so many of the characters-especially Victor, Caroline, Bo, Hope, and Chelsea-into shocking directions that will leave the fans gasping."

Salem Lives' Carrie: The search is over

The search for Carrie ends this week on Salem Lives but it is not a happy ending. The week begins with Roman announcing to Austin, Lucas, Sami, Cal, and Kate that the blood on the jacket was Carrie's. "They are all stunned but still have hope," previews HW Tim Lowery. The hope quickly goes away when more forensic's reports reveal that the blond hairs on the jacket match Carrie's. "Lucas just loses it and says he is going to go find her since she has to be alright," says Lowery. "Sami goes after him to comfort him on instinct and there is a very emotional scene there." Meanwhile, things then take a confusing turn when the rest of the blood is revealed not to be Carrie's but Alan Harris's. "Roman is stunned and he shares this news with everyone but Sami," notes Lowery. "They all decide not to tell Sami and even make Kate promise not to as they can't understand what is going on." Meanwhile, from the shadows, Carrie sees her family. "She wants to reveal herself, especially now that it seems the danger from the island plot is over, but she needs to take care of Alan and she overhears Roman telling Austin he would kill him if he was anywhere near his daughters," previews Lowery. "She has finally been convinced Alan is a changed man and he took care of her so she needs to take care of him. Plus, Carrie is reminded of the fact that she has no idea who the father of her child is and part of her does not want to face that." By week's end, someone discovers Carrie with Alan and then Carrie makes a stunning decision that is very unlike her, which leads to the search for Carrie finally being called off. "It is very shocking and sad at the same time but it will take all these characters in a new and exciting direction," promises Lowery.

Charles Shaughnessy (Shane Donovan): After a short break from Salem, Shaughnessy returns as the popular ISA agent on September 11.

Brandon Beemer (Jason) and J. F. Pryor (Barry): The two actors have been playing Chelsea's rapists since May. Pryor has also appeared on Passions in the 9/1 and 9/4 episodes while Beemer has appeared on GH in a minor role. (FYI: I know he is nuShawn but I thought it would be fun to use him here) . Both actors are recurring.

CASTING CALL!!!

A casting call has gone out for the role of a new female psychiatrist at University Hospital. The character is very professional, driven, and has never found love. She is constantly putting her profession before romance. The show is looking for a experienced actress in her mid 40's-upper 50's. The role was originally going to be portrayed by a former female star but it was decided to go in a new direction. Please post any suggestions here in the blog.

Thursday September 14, 2006: The Brady's begin to fall apart. Meanwhile, someone discovers Carrie and Alan as Carrie makes a stunning decision.

Friday September 15, 2006: The search for Carrie ends. Also on this day, Bo and Hope call it quits as he and Victor turn their backs on their loved ones.

Next Week: Sami comes clean. Austin's secret is out. Kayla is watched. Shawn says goodbye to friends and family. Chelsea and Bo rebel. Jack comforts Billie. Cassie comes on to Max.

-Celeste and Abe both go in to see Lexie before surgery. Celeste urges her to fight and that she has a family to live for. Abe dittos that sentiment and tells Lexie he can't lose her. They have their problems but he needs to tell her in case something happens that he still loves her. He thinks he always will. He kisses her hand and tells her to fight to come back to Theo and him.

-Stefano asks Cassie what makes her think she is capable of carrying on the Dimera legacy. She is a Dimera in name but she has not been around the family and believed she was a Brady for 3 years. Cassie says none of that was her fault and was more Stefano's then anything else. He admits that is true but Cassie needs to be around the family more before she can carry that much responsibility. Cassie thinks it is because Stefano did not approve of much of what her father did. Stefano says Tony and him had their differences but it has nothing to do with that. Some of his business practices before Andre kidnapped him were rather disturbing, like the Echelon club, but he still was his son. Cassie asks if there is any word on Tony. Stefano says his people are on it and will let him know when there is word. Andre and Wendell never even left behind clues and Ernesto is lying low so there is no place to go for leads. He is hopeful they will find Tony, if he is alive. Stefano tells Cassie that maybe someday she can fulfill the Dimera legacy but not at the present time. Stefano goes to visit Lexie before surgery while Cassie privately vows to prove to Stefano that she is a true Dimera and can carry on the Dimera empire. The perfect way to do that is to find out who blew up the warehouse and she has an idea where to get info on that.

-Victor is stunned that Stefano lived. Caroline tells him that Lexie was injured badly and is in critical condition. Victor is shocked and disturbed by this. Caroline says she can't beleive Victor has resorted back to his old ways. She says she can see that frightening evil look in his eyes. Victor says that she is right and he went back to his ways of the past because he became too soft. His loved ones have endured almost constant pain in the years since he turned over a new leaf. He vows to Isabella that he would change but he can't keep being thei kinder, gentler Victor. He can't keep watching people he knows and cares about suffer at the hands of his enemies. He vows they will rule the day they tangled with Victor Kiriakis. Caroline admits she is frightened. She hasn't see Victor like this in years and this is not the Victor she loves and cares about. One innocent person already got hurt in Lexie but there will be many more. Caroline admits she doesn't even know who he is anymore. Victor says Lexie getting hurt will be a message to Stefano that Victor is not going to stand by and let him mess with the lives of his family and friends. He tells Caroline he doesn't care what she thinks of him or what anyone thinks. He needs to do this to protect those he cares about, including her. Caroline tells him that actions like that will only bring more pain. Victor sees it differently and knows they will never agree on this. He tells Caroline that it may be best for her to leave before things get said that they will both regret. Caroline walks out but not before saying that she did the right thing pushing him out of her life and out of Maggie. If this is who he really wants to be, he is no good for anyone. She leaves. Nico asks Victor if he is ok. Victor says to nevermind him. They need to come up with another plot to get rid of Stefano before he retailiates, which he will do once he learns it was him. Nico asks what they should do. Victor says maybe they need to think smaller...and more simpler. Nico thinks he understands and says he wil get right on it. Victor looks at a picture of Caroline and vows to do whatever it takes to protect the ones he loves-even if that means turning his back on some of his loved ones to do it.

-Kate and Sami get into it when Kate once again denies that Sami cares what happens to Carrie. Roman tells Kate to back off and do does Austin and Lucas. Austin insists she has changed. Sami remembers what she did to Carrie via Lexie and feels guilty about it. Roman continues to wait for forensics. Cal asks what he thinks. Roman says he doesn't think it will be good news. He gets a call saying Shane is back from an ISA meeting in Europe so he decides to call him and bring him in on the case. Roman wonders how Carrie ended up in Salem since they last saw her on the island.

-Carrie looks on as Alan is examined by Dr. Fillers from a clinic nearby. The doctor tells Carrie that Alan has a concussion and a sprained wrist and ankle. He was very lucky. Normally, he would go to the hospital but since both of them indicated they are not proponents of modern medicine they will forego that. Carrie thanks him for understanding. The doctor asks how she is and the baby since his colleague told him about the case. Carrie says she is fine thanks to Alan. He urges her to call if there are any issues and to make sure she takes it easy and that Alan is off his feet. He leaves. Carrie feels bad for lying but they can't leave the cabin until they know the danger is over. Carrie knows she talked to Sami but there is no telling what is going on with the island plot and all. She hopes Sami may send help. She tells an unconscious Alan not to worry. She is not leaving his side just like he never left her's when he saved her life. He saved her life again and she is grateful. She wonders if he really has changed.

-Roman gets a call from forensics. He gathers Sami, Austin, Kate, Lucas, and Cal together and says it isn't good news. The blood on the jacket was Carrie's. They are still waiting for word on the blood near the debris and the hair fibers on the jacket. He doesn't think it looks good. Lucas and Austin are stunned. Kate and Sami try to comfort them as Roman tells Cal that it is beginning to look like something terrible happened to his daughter.

-Greta continues to be shocked by the contents of Eric's chart. She leaves it near the nurses' station without being noticed and decides to confront Eric. Eric is still in the ER and waiting to be moved to a room. Greta sits down by him. He wakes up and says hello. He apologizes for worrying her. Greta says it's ok. Eric says it is ok now and that he is fine. He just didn't eat enough and was dehydrated too. Greta tells him to stop lying-she knows his secret. Now she wants to hear it from him. She tells Eric to tell her. Eric thinks it's a trick and she knows nothing and is trying to get him to tell. Greta says it's no trick-she knows he has a brain tumor. Eric is stunned and Greta tells him she looked at his chart. She apologizes but she had to know. She asks Eric why he is hiding this. Eric says it's simple-because he is dying.

-Hope tells Bo that they should go someplace and talk. Bo says it may be too late to talk. They should've talked when he wanted to. They have trust issues and there has been so much damage. Their family is in shambles and he doesn't feel like it can be saved anymore. Hope is shocked as he was sure it could before. Bo says that changed when she never told him about Chelsea's rape and when she let her rapists get away. Hope says the rapists got away on their own and that Bo is only looking for someone to blame. Bo denies that and says Hope should've let him kill them. Hope tells Bo she was protecting him and their family-he does no one any good in prison. She apologizes for not telling him but says she really never lied to him. Bo says she never lied but she knew the truth and kept it from him and that was serious. Those wo guys are still out there and could hurt Chelsea again or hurt other people. Chelsea overhears this and blames herself for breaking them up. Now her rape is coming between them. She should've never made Hope hide the truth knowing what would happen if she got caught. In fact, she shouldn't have told anyone about it and that way no one would find out. Chelsea is upset and says that all she does is make everyone miserable. She runs out of the hospital in tears. While running outside, she is followed by someone. She turns around and asks if someone is there. She hears something and is frightened. She makes a run for it.

-Hope tells Bo about her offer to Chelsea. Bo says that was nice of her but that changes nothing. She is only doing what she thinks Zack would want. Hope says there is a message on her phone that there will be a hearing tomarrow to hand down punishment to Chelsea since Hope wants leniency on her. The judge wants to get the case handled quickly now as Hope asked for the court to be easy on Chelsea and has changed her position on the situation. Bo says he will be there and asks if Chelsea knows. Hope says she was informed. Bo now wants to get back to the station. He wants to work on the warehouse explosion and the rape. Cassie is nearby and overhears Bo talk to Hope about the warehouse being Victor's and how he could be involved as a way of getting revenge for what happened on the island. Cassie goes to find Stefano. Hope notes that Bo seems to be talking to her now. Bo says he has to go. He can't go through all this with her at the moment. He tells her he will see her in court tomarrow. He leaves. Hope begins to think it really is over, especially if Bo has lost faith in them. Bo privately admits he still loves Hope but wonders if they can get through everything they need to.

-Abe and Celeste say goodbye to Lexie and leave as Stefano enters the ER to see Lexie. He tells her he loves her and that he is not prepated to lose her as he just came back into her life. He reminds her she is a Dimera and that she will rise from the ashes but she must fight. She must fight for her son. He vows to punish whoever did this to her. Cassie walks in and says she can help him with that. Stefano asks what she means. Cassie says she knows who did it. The doctors arrive to take Lexie to OR. Stefano says one last goodbye and that he loves her as she is pulled away. Outside, Abe and Celeste urge her to fight as she is wheeled into the elevator and up to surgery. Back in the ER, Cassie tells Stefano she heard Bo and Hope talking and that the warehouse belonged to Victor Kiriakis and that he may have targeted Stefano for revenge because of the island and the pain of his loved ones. Stefano says it makes sense since it was his warehouse. He calls up an associate and asks if there is any word on the explosion. The associate tells him it appears to have been done by Victor Kiriakis's organization as it seems he has gone back to his old ways. Stefano says he understands and hangs up. Stefano praises Cassie on a job well-done in finding the info. He vows to make Victor pay for what he did. He says that Victor wanted a war and struck the first blow. Now it is his turn to face the wrath of Stefano Dimera only, he may not be as lucky as Stefano to escape. Cassie vows to help in any way she can. Stefano is pleased and says that a war has begun and that he won't stop until Victor faces the consequences for what he did to Alexandra.

-Maggie is walking the streets drunk. She is nearly attacked by a drunk homeless man but mananges to escape unharmed. She arrives at Chez Rouz and begins to pack up some liquor to take with her all while drinking some as she does it. Meanwhile, outside, Chelsea stops running as she feels like she lost whoever was following her. She is then grabbed from behind by one guy and another guy grabs hold of her from the front. She recognizes them as her rapists. She tries to cry out for help but they gag her and say she will pay for admitting what they did to her. Her father almost killed them and now she will have to pay up for damages. They drag her off. While dragging her, Chelsea knocks over some crates. Maggie hears the crash from inside and wonders what is going on. She hopes someone isn't there or they will catch her drinking. She looks outside as Chelsea is held against the wall by the men right near the window Maggie is looking through as the screen fades to black and the credits roll.

-Caroline and Billie arrive at the hospital and meet up with Bo, Hope, Belle, Shawn, Greta, Roman, Cal, Abe, and Celeste. Billie tells Bo that one of Caroline's friends is a nurse and she told her Bo and Hope were there. She was worried and Billie was at the Pub getting food for Jack and her when she learned Bo was in the ER so they rushed over. Bo says it was nothing but a minor wound. Billie asks how he got it. He says he got into a fight with some punks no big deal. Caroline and Billie notice Stefano. Caroline lunges for him, saying he is the reason why her husband is dead and why so many died on that island. Stefano says the island was his plot but he never made it what it turned out to be. Wendell, Andre, and Ernesto did that. Roman reminds him that the plan was his and that he is still responsible. Stefano says they have nothing on him and warns them to back away. Abe and Celeste are sure that Stefano was somehow involved in the explosion. Stefano ignores them and walks away. Cal then tells Caroline and Bo that he remembered his name-Cal Winters. They, along with everyone else, is happy for him. Roman then tells them all that it was Victor's warehouse that blew up. Roman believes that Victor was targeting Stefano as revenge for what happened to Philip and everyone else. Caroline is bothered by this and sneaks out.

-Greta sneaks away from the crowd in the waiting room as she needs to find Eric's chart to find out what is going on. She bumps right into Stefano. Stefano asks how she is doing. Greta says she is fine but she can't say that for many of her friends. Stefano asks her if she has shared the big news with her father yet. Greta tells Stefano she has told Victor nothing and doesn't plan to. Stefano is shocked but says it is up to Greta. Greta begs him not to say anything. Stefano reminds Greta that he has always had a special place in his heart for her and that will never change. Greta asks Stefano why he can't treat everyone else like he treats her. He tells her there is too much water under the bridge with the others and that Greta's last name is not Brady. Stefano says he must go check on Lexie and wishes Greta well. Greta sees Eric's doctor, with chart in hand. She follows him. The doctor puts the chart at the nurses station. Greta walks over to one of the nurses and says she heard a noice in the hall way around the corner and thinks the nurse should check it out just in case. The nurse leaves as Greta feels guilty for lying. Greta takes the chart and runs off. She goes in the ladies room to read it and looks it over. She seems shocked by what she is seeing and her inquisitive look turns to one of anguish. She expresses regret for Eric and can't beleive what she just read and wonders if it is as bad as it sounds.

-Belle walks over to Shawn and asks him why he hasn't told his family about his intentions to leave Salem and join the Marines. He says it isn't the right time with everything going on. Belle asks if he has having second thoughts. He says he already made his decision and is leaving-nothing can stop him. Belle begs him to reconsider. Shawn is losing patience and tells Belle they are through and she needs to accept that. The sooner the better. He walks away as Belle is overcome with tears, wondering why Shawn and her just can't be happy.

-Cassie and Chelsea are on the ground fighting at Salem Place. A store clerk breaks up the fight and is ready to call the police. Cassie tells the clerk that she is Cassie Dimera and if any cops are called he won't have a job. Chelsea tells the clerk she is Detective Bo Brady's daughter. Cassie rolls her eyes. The clerk lets it go as long as they promise to behave. Cassie's cell phone rings. It's Stefano. He tells her he nearly forgot to call her and tells her about the warehouse and Lexie. Cassie says she will be right there. She tells Chelsea she needs to go and reminds her that she knows her secret and can tell anyone at any time. Chelsea wonders what she is going to. She checks her messages and hears one from Billie saying her father is in the hospital. She races over there.

-Julie, Doug, Laura, and Alice are sitting in Alice's kitchen discussing what happened with Maggie. Julie says she is beginning to wonder if Maggie has even fallen off the wagon. She snapped at them so fast and, even though she was annoyed they were there, she was calm when they first arrived. Laura says it is possible as it was a wild modd swing but that could also be attributed to her being in a state of depression. Doug says either way they have reason to worry as she is now not answering any phone calls and even seems to have unplugged her answering machine. Alice suggests that maybe they should look to some loved ones for help. Julie asks what she means. Alice says maybe it's time that the family bands together and brings in reinforcements. Laura smiles and says she thinks she knows what Alice has in mind and it may help alot. Julie and Doug figure it out too. Julie says it's time for the Horton's to take action to save one of their own.

-Maggie sits in her house alone. The vodka is near the end of the bottle and the kitchen is a mess from her outburst when Doug, Julie, and Laura were there. She can't beleive they had Laura come to check her mental health. Maggie is convinced they blame her for Mickey's death now and that they even think she is a headcase. She has lost everything. Mickey is gone and her family thinks ill of her. She says she may as well drink herself to death. She finished the vodka and discovers she has no more. She decides to go to Chez Rouz and get some more liquor. She looks at a picture of Mickey and says she is sorry but this is the only way for her to deal with everything. She is sober enough to realize she should not drive so she decides to walk as the restaurant is only a few blocks. She grabs her coat and walks out.

-Kate, Lucas, Austin, and Sami continue to react to their discovery. Lucas tells Sami she needs to call Roman. Sami says he means John. Lucas tells her to forget it he will call. Sami says that she will call because otherwise he will never shutup about her being immature. Lucas agrees. Roman is with Cal talking about the warehouse when he gets the call. He is shocked to hear Sami and whsipers that hell must have frozen over. Sami then calls him daddy by accident when she tells him something happened. Roman is stunned, as is Lucas, Austin, and Kate. Sami moves on and makes no mention of it saying he needs to get up to RT 36N-20 miles away from Green Mountain. Sami tells him that it's Carrie and fills him in on everything. Roman says he is on his way. Cal offers to go with him. Roman agrees and tells Abe where he is going. Abe wishes him luck. Abe looks at his watch and wonders how long it will be before they get news. One of the doctor's comes out and says that Lexie has some internal bleeding and that her lung may be punctured. They will need to take her to OR and need her husband's concent. He signs and asks what her chances are. The doctor says it could go either way. Abe asks Celeste if she has any idea how this will turn out. She says strangely she has no idea. Abe says that he can't lose her. Celeste says she knows and that her daughter will fight. Abe says he isn't so sure as she lost him, is suspended from the hospital, and he was trying to take Theo from her. She may think she has nothing to live for. Celeste suggests he tell her.

-Chelsea arrives at the hospital and Billie tells her everything is fine. Chelsea tells Billie about Hope's offer and Billie says that is great news and hopes she will hold up her end of the bargain. Billie says she needs to get back to Jack as he is waiting for food so she tells her to call if she needs her and not to stir up trouble. She encourages Chelsea to just stay away from her father and Hope and leave the hospital. Chelsea says she needs to see him and she promises not to be a problem.

-Hope asks Bo if he thinks Victor is involved in the explosion. Bo says that it was his warehouse so anything is possible. Hope says she is happy he is talking to her. Bo says he only said one sentence and to not expect anything else. Hope asks why he is treating her like he is and Bo reminds her she did the same thing to him when he lied to her. He tells Hope they have major issues and Hope agrees. Bo says he wonders if there is anything left for them to salvage after everything that has happened. Bo admits that he believes for the first time ever that the everything they built-their family, marriage, relationship-is gone and destroyed. Chelsea overhears all this and wonders why she is even trying to be good. Bad things are still happening to her and those she cares about even with her trying to do good. Chelsea wonders if maybe bad is the way to go.

-Roman and Cal arrive at the scene with officers and look at what Sami and others found. Forensics takes samples and Roman says they will know soon enough if the blood and jacket belong to Carrie. Austin and Lucas pray that Carrie is ok. Sami admits that she has always been jealous of Carrie and they have had their problems but she never wanted something like this to happen. Lucas tells her to think positive. Roman and Cal are talking when Kate interupts. She tells Roman she can tell by his face that he thinks that Carrie was there and may be hurt...or worse. Roman says given the directions Carrie gave Sami and the fact that the gas station is the only place with a pay phone for miles (Carrie called collect from the area so Roman says she had to call from a payphone) suggests she probably called from there. The debris, blood, and jacket are pretty close to the phone and Sami said Carrie seemed worried and that the call went dead. They will learn soon from forensics but Roman admits it doesn't look good. Kate looks at Austin and Lucas and says if anything happens to Carrie or that baby they will both be devestated.

-Meanwhile, Carrie is with an unconscious Alan in the woods. They are back at the cabin. He wakes up and asks what happened. Carrie says she nearly died but she revived him and he woke up. She managed to help him get back to the cabin but he has been in and out of consciousness. She called the doctor he arranged to treat her but he is no longer at the clinic nearby so a colleague of his is coming. Alan says he will be fine before he passes out again. Carrie sees he has stopped breathing again and begins CPR. She urges him to fight and hang on.

-Victor and Nico are celebrating Stefano's death. They can't wait to hear word of his confirmed demise on TV or radio. Victor says this is only the beginning of his revenge against his enemies. The doorbelle rings. Henderson answers it. It's Caroline. Henderson announces her. Victor asks what she is doing there. Caroline asks why Nico and Him are celebrating. Victor tries to say they aren't but Caroline says she knows he is celebrating Stefano's death-the death he orchestrated. Caroline says the only problem is that Stefano isn't dead and wasn't even injured. Victor drops his brandy glass in shock.

-Cassie arrives at the hospital and asks Stefano what happened. He fills her in and says that whoever did this will pay. Cassie vows to help him as she is a Dimera. Stefano looks over and sees the doctor and wants to know about Lexie's condition. The doctor walks away. Celeste tells Stefano that Lexie is going up to OR and that she has internal injuries. Stefano is in shock but says they must stay optimistic. Abe says he better hope Lexie makes it through this or he will find himself suffering a similar fate to Lexie's if she doesn't live. Abe and Celeste get some coffee and Cassie assures Stefano everything will be ok. Stefano says that Alexandra needs to survive or the Dimera legacy will be in shambles. Cassie says he has many children to carry on the name. Stefano says there is only one person at the moment he wants to carry on the legacy if something should happen to him-and that is his daughter Alexandra and his grandson Theo. Abe says over his dead body as both men face off. The screen fades to black and the credits roll.

Abe to Lexie: Don't leave me. I still love you Lex.

Stefano to Cassie: Oh come on Cassie. How do I even know you can carry the Dimera name on?

Cassie to Stefano: I will prove it to you. You'll see.

Hope to Bo: We really need to talk about...

Bo to Hope: It's too late for that. In fact, it may be too late for us period.

Carrie to Alan: I am not leaving your side.

Roman: This isn't good at all.

Greta to Eric: I know what our hiding but I want to hear it from you.

Caroline to Victor: Oh my...the evil in your eyes.

Victor to Caroline: Your right...I am back to my old ways and my enemies will rule the day they tangled with Victor Kiriakis.

Maggie: What the hell was that?

Chelsea: Is someone there?

-Greta awaits news on Eric at the hospital. She gets worried as more and more time passes with no news. She asks a nurse and the nurse tells her that there is no word yet. Greta then looks inside the ER and sees some serious looks on the faces of the nurses and doctors. She worries about what this means for Eric. The doctor comes out and Greta asks him if Eric is ok. The doctor says he will be fine but that he can't tell her specifically. Greta says it's ok as she is a friend but the doctor tells her that Eric told him and the nurses specifically to not tell anyone anything about what happened and that he is even there. The doctor tells Greta that she will have to get answers out of him. Greta realizes that isn't going to happen so she will just have to find out on her own. She worries that the secret Eric is hiding is health-related, especially now with him wanting what happened tonight to remain private. She decides to go find his chart and learn the truth on her own.

-Sami tells Austin, Lucas, and Kate about Carrie's phone call and her whereabouts. She says they better hurry as she sounded very scared on the phone. Lucas and Austin bolt for the door. Sami does too as kate stops her and asks her why she did something nice for her sister. Sami says that Carrie and the baby may be in danger and she cares about them despite what Kate may think. She does have a heart, unlike her. Kate makes a face and Sami and her race to catch up to the guys. On the way up to the mountains, Sami notices how concerned both Lucas and Austin are about Carrie and the baby. Kate quietly mentions to Sami how neither of her sons will ever care that much for her. Sami is clearly jealous and whispers to herself that she isn't even sure if she cares anymore.

-Carrie wakes up near the debris and notices the bleeding gash on her head. She remembers what happened and wonders where Alan is. She looks under the debris and sees his bloodied hand sticking out. She cries out for him to answer her and moves the debris off him. His head appears cut open so Carrie uses tears a piece of her jacket to cover his head and stop the bleeding. She uses the rest of the jacket to wipe the blood from the gash on her head. She urges Alan to wake up. He finally comes to and asks what happened. Carrie says that after he found her on the phone he ran towards her. Carrie admits being afraid he was going to hurt her but then she saw above her a part of the building about the collapse and he pushes her out of the way. She still managed to cut her head but he took the impact of the debris and she is thankful. Alan says he saw it about to fall apart and knew he had to save her and the baby. Alan then begins to slow down in speaking and passes out. Carrie begs him to wake up and notices he isn't breathing. She begins CPR and urges him to fight to live.

-Cassie and Chelsea watch the closeness between Max and Abby. Cassie tortures Chelsea with the idea that her best friend has stolen her man. Chelsea refuses to beleive that. Max and Abby come over and say hello. Max tells Chelsea he has been looking for her and that they need to talk. They go to speak alone leaving Cassie with Abby. Abby asks Cassie why she is with Chelsea. She didn't think they knew each other. Cassie says they are getting to know each other very well and says it seems like Abby is doing the same with Max. Abby says Max and her are just close friends. Cassie refuses to beleive that and says it is obvious Abby has a thing for him. She asks Abby if she is going after her best friend's man. Max sits Chelsea down and says that he has no idea what is going on with her or why she has been pushing him away. Chelsea explains she just needs time and space like she told him. Max says he can't put his life on hold when he doesn't know when Chelsea will be ready to pick up where they left off. He asks if something is going on with her to explain all this. Chelsea remembers her rape and Hope being her mother and lies and says no. She just needs time and space. Max says that maybe instead of a little break they should take a permanent break and go their separate ways. She would get her time and space and he could move on and not put everything on hold. Chelsea looks over at Abby and asks what exactly Max is putting on hold. Max says that nothing is going on with Abby and that Abby still considers Chelsea her friend. She would never do that. Max tells Chelsea that breaking up is win-win as they both get what they want. Chelsea says if that is what he wants then fine. Max is surprised she isn't putting up much of a fight. Chelsea says she has alot to deal with and doesn't have the strength to fight right now. Max sees how upset she is and asks her if something is going on. He knows her and he knows she is hiding something and that is why she is pushing him away. Chelsea just tells him to go. He told her what he had to say so he should just go. Max tells Chelsea he will always care about her and be there for her. She tells him goodbye. He leaves and goes to get Abby.

-Hope and Bo arrive at the hospital. Bo's wound is getting looked at when Hope sees Belle. She asks what she is doing there. Belle says she just came by to empty put her mom's office as her father asked her to. Hope notices she is upset and asks if something is wrong. Shawn then walks in and sees her. Hope sees them looking at each other and asks what is going on. Shawn interupts and says nothing is going on and asks why she is there. Hope tells him what is going on with Bo. Shawn asks why he got into the fight but Hope says nothing about the rape. Bo joins them and Shawn asks him what stupid decision he made now. Hope tells Shawn to calm down, as does Belle. Bo says her can't talk about what is going on right now. Shawn asks him what else is new as he always keeps him and mom out of the loop but not Billie and Chelsea. Bo loses it and asks Shawn what he wants from him. Shawn says I want a real father and a real man to lead this family, not some flip flop who goes back on every promise he ever made to them. Bo is stunned, as is Belle and Hope.

-Abe, Roman, Cal, Celeste, Nicole, and Stefano are stunned that it seems a body was found. Celeste feels it and says she feels like a part of her is gone. Abe looks at the debris and then takes out a family picture of him, Lexie, and Theo. He tries to hold back the tears.

Abe: She can't be gone. Not like this. So beautiful...so full of life. Even after everything...God help me I still love her. I still love her !!!! You can't be gone Lexie. Lexie!!!

Celeste breaks down too and tells Stefano she knows this is his fault. One of his enemies wanted revenge or one of his schemes went awry. She promises to make him pay and to see him dead for this if he did this and she tells him not to tell her he wasn't involved. She can see it on his face. Abe warns him too that he will make him pay for this because it is obvious by the look in his eyes he was involved in this. The EMT's discover the body and say it is the body of a caucasion female. It is not Lexie. Abe, Celeste, and Stefano are relieved. Abe and Celeste still warn Stefano if Lexie is hurt, they are coming after him. Roman says the same and says if Eric did get hurt in the blast, Stefano is a dead man. Nevertheless, if he is involved he will find out and nail him. Stefano is unphases and continues to search for Lexie. Nicole is searching feverishly for Eric. Roman and Cal help her. Roman tells some patrol cops to ask around the area to see if anyone saw someone enter the building and gives them a picture of Eric to show to people. Stefano is searching around, praying Lexie is found. He looks down at the ground and sees a foot. It's Lexie's!!! He calls for help and the EMT's move the debris off of her. Abe, Celeste, Nicole, Cal, and Roman gather around. Stefano asks if she is alive. The EMT responds that she is but barely and she may have internal injuries. They prepare for her transport and Stefano says he is riding in the ambulance. Abe and Celeste refuse to let that happen. Meanwhile, a man that maintains some of the warehouses near the pier is found by some of the officers and brought to Roman. He explains he saw a man that looked just like Eric with a woman with brown hair. They were on the pier around two hours ago. Roman tells Nicole what he learned and she feels relieved but still wants to find him. She heads for the pier to see if he is still there and says she will look around. Roman asks her to call when she finds him. Roman then gets a phone call and is stunned by what he hears. He hangs up as Cal asks him what is wrong. Roman says the warehouse that blew up belonged to Victor Kiriakis. Cal asks what that means. Roman wonders if Victor is involved. The EMT's pack up Lexie and put her on the ambulance. Stefano says he is getting on with his daughter. He pushes ahead and gets on, shutting the door behind him. Abe is furious but Celeste tells him they should just get to the hospital. Roman and Cal fill Abe in on what they found out and tell him they will head to the hospital with him. In the ambulance, Stefano begs Lexie to survive.

-Nicole arrives at the pier and can't find Eric. She wonders where he is and if this has something to do with his secret.

-Greta is looking for Eric's doctor and hopes he leads her to his chart when she bumps into Bo, Hope, Belle, and Shawn. She notices the tension and asks if everything is alright. Bo sarcastically says it couldn't be better.

-At Salem Place, Max walks back over to Abby and asks if she is ok. Abby says she is fine and asks if everything went well. Max says as best as it could. Abby asks if Chelsea needs her. Max thinks it is best if she leave her alone for now. They say goodbye to Cassie and walk away. Cassie reminds Abby she never did answer her question. Abby responds no. Cassie doesn't buy it. Max asks what that was about as Abby tells him to nevermind. Cassie walks over to Chelsea and they watch Max and Abby walk away, with his arm around her. Cassie tells Chelsea they have a bond that grows stronger by the way and that no one seems to want her. Max doesn't and niether does Salem as half of the town hates her. Cassie says that Chelsea must want to keet the truth from Hope because she is afraid Hope won't want her either since no one wants her or her slutty self anyway. Chelsea has had enough and lunges for Chelsea. Both woman fall to the ground and a catfight ensues.

-Sami, Austin, Lucas, and Kate pull up at a location near where Carrie told Sami. They see a gas station up ahead and decide to stop and ask if anyone saw Carrie. They pull up and look around and notice it seems abandoned. Lucas sees that part of the building even collapsed. Sami looks near the debris and sees a jacket and a pool of blood. Austin, Lucas, and Kate see it and wonder what happened. Sami remembers the phone call and then having the call go dead. She sees the pay phone very close to the debris and wonders if something bad happened to Carrie. They all look at the blood, debris, and torn jacket and wonder what to do next.

-Greta, Hope, Bo, Shawn, and Belle are all in the ER when Abe, Roman, Celeste, and Cal show up. Hope asks what they are doing there. Abe explains the explosion and what happened to Lexie. Bo asks what warehouse it was. Roman says it belongs to Victor. Bo asks if it was accidental. Roman explains the place was rigged to blow up. Shawn asks why anyone would rig a warehouse to blow. Abe says they would if they were laying a trap for someone and had targeted someone. Belle ask who could the target be. Everyone then turns and sees Lexie rushed into the ER and are stunned to see Stefano run in behind her. The doctor tells Stefano to wait outside and that they will take good care of Dr. Carver. He turns around and comes faces to face with some of his enemies. Bo is furious and lunges at him as Roman holds him back. The rest of them soak in the fact that Stefano has returned as a composed, but worried, Stefano looks on. The screen then fades to black and the credits roll.

Sami to Roman: You need to get up here right now...it's Carrie.

Shawn to Belle: It's over...we're over. Accept it.

Celeste to Abe: I feel this is only the beginning...something bigger is brewing.

Bo to Hope: It''s all gone..our family, marriage...everything we have built is in shambles.

Chelsea: Maybe it's not worth changing...maybe I am better off being bad.

Julie: Maggie needs our help and I have an idea.

Maggie: My life is over...maybe I will just drink until I die.

-Abby tells Max that she wants what is best for both him and Chelsea. It doesn't really make a difference to her if they are together or not, as long as they are happy. Max thanks her for being such a good friend to both Chelsea and him. He tells Abby he has made up his mind-he is going to break things off with Chelsea. He just can't put off his life anymore for her and she has practically ignored him for weeks now. He says he better meet with her now and tell her and asks Abby if she will come. Chelsea may need her. Abby agrees. Max calls Chelsea's cell but there is no answer. He decides to try to find her as Abby goes with him.

-Cassie tortures Chelsea with the fact that she knows Hope is her mother. She tells Chelsea that information like that almost gives you the right to own a person, especially when it seems obvious the person doesn't want anyone to know. Chelsea tries to explain that Cassie didn't understand but Cassie reminds her that she is a Dimera and not stupid. She can see Chelsea is scared out of her mind so that alone convinces her that she heard right. Cassie asks Chelsea if she knows who her real father is. Chelsea says she doesn't and begs Cassie not to say anything. She is keeping this secret because Billie and Bo would be devestated knowing their daughter is really dead and that she is Hope's. Cassie says she will keep the secret but asks what is in it for her. Chelsea promises to do anything. Cassie says she will hold her to that and will be sure to look her up when she needs something. Cassie sees Max and Abby walking nearby and sees them laughing. Max then puts his arm around Abby. Cassie then makes a comment about how much Chelsea's life must stink lately. Her father hates her for destroying his marriage, her mother and half the town doesn't trust her, and now she is losing her boyfriend to her best friend. Chelsea asks what she is talking about. Cassie shifts her eyes and asks Chelsea to see for herself. Chelsea turns and sees Max with his arm around Abby laughing and having a good time. Chelsea's eyes well up in tears as Cassie takes pleasure in seeing her suffer.

-Bo has both of Chelsea's rapists held against the wall and tells them he is going to kill them for what they did to his daughter. The two women that the men were with continue to scream for help. Bo tells them to shutup as these two are scum and deserve to be punished. If the law isn't going to do it, he will. Hope then races in, saying she heard the screaming. She begs Bo to stop and let them go. Bo says that this is the only way justice will be served as the DA let them both go because they retracted their confessions and there was no other evidence. Hope says they will find some but Bo reminds Hope that the rape happened in May. The trail is cold so it's next to impossible to find anything now that can incriminate the men. Bo blames Hope for that as he may have been able to do something sooner had he known. Hope reminds Bo that Victor knew but Bo reminds Hope that she is his wife. It as her responsibility to tell him. Victor was wrong too but it is wrong that his own wife never told him about his daughter's rape. Hope tells Bo that Victor may be able to get them more evidence. Bo says that the evidence would be tossed out in court as anything from Victor would be collected through underground, and probably illegal, means. They have nothing and his daughter's rapists need to be punished. Hope tells Bo to think about Shawn and Chelsea and how they need their father. Bo says he is thinking about them and by getting these two guys off the streets, he will protect the future safety and security of both of them and of others. While Bo is distracted with Hope, one of the guys knees Bo in the mid-section. Bo falls to the ground and the two guys get away as the two girls run in the opposite direction. Hope helps Bo up but he pushes her away. He is furious and tells her she has done it again. Hope says it is for the best and they can pursue this the right way. Bo says he was pursuing this the only way. They have no case and there was only one way to punish them. Bo tells Hope she withheld information and now helped his daughter's rapists get away. Hope tells Bo that they need to sit down and talk. Bo backs away and reminds Hope that when he wanted to talk before all this, she was the one to back off. Now he is the one backing off. He has no desire to talk to her right now. Hope sees that he is bleeding from his side. Somehow he must have been wounded when he was kicked or something so Hope tells him he should get that taken care of. Bo says he will be fine and doesn't want to see her. Hope says she will go away right after he goes with her and has the wound taken care of. He reluctantly agrees and they head for the hospital.

-Belle refuses to let Shawn leave town to join the Marines. Shawn says he can pay homage to Philip and it will almost be like his way of making things up to him after the last few years. Belle says he doesn't have to do that. Shawn says he needs to get out of Salem. His life is a mess and he is having problems with his father and then there is her. The love they share has made her far too obsessive. He doesn't even know who she is anymore and it seems alot of people think that way by the reactions at the hospital earlier. She should be with her husband in San Francisco helping him and supporting him and, instead, she chose to stay in Salem because of him. He reminds Belle of how appalled everyone was. Belle says she doesn't care as she loves Shawn and is done putting aside her happiness. Shawn says he cares and wants her to stop being obsessed with their relationship. Philip is the father of her child and that is where she belongs. Things are different now then they were years ago. They are cousins now and she is married with a child. He needs to make some big life decisions and really needs to grow up. This is a good way to do it and this will give her the chance to settle down and make the changes she needs to make to her life. Belle insists there are no changes to be made accept for them reuniting and being together. Shawn says that isn't going to happen. He has made his choice whether she accepts it or not. It's over and he is making plans to move on. Hopefully, in time, she will understand this is for the best and will move on as well. Belle tearfully tells Shawn she loves him. Shawn says he loves her too but that it's not right anymore and it just doesn't feel right. He says he needs to go make some plans. Belle grabs him and begs him not to do this. Shawn kisses her and says she will understand one day. He pushes her arms off of him and walks off as Belle crumples to the floor in tears, crying to Shawn not to do this.

-Doug, Julie, and Laura enter Maggie's house and call out to her. Maggie, who is practially guzzling the bottle of vodka, hears them and hides the bottle. She quickly shoves some peppermint cookies in her mouth to tone down the alcohol on her breath. Doug, Julie, and Laura enter and ask if she is ok. Maggie says she is the best she can be considering everything. Julie asks why she didn't answer the door. Maggie says she doesn't want visitors and was hoping they would go away. Julie says they just want to help and want her to let them. It isn't doing her any good to be alone and locking herself away. Laura asks Maggie if it would help if they talked since Laura has not been around in awhile and a new face may be more comfortable. Maggie says she just wants to left alone for the time being. Julie tells Maggie that isn't healthy but Laura tells Julie to back off a bit. Laura asks Maggie if she is feeling better then she did when Mickey first died. Maggie says not really. Laura then asks her if she is feeling overwhelmed or feels closed in. Maggie says she just feels guilty, lonely, and like everyone blames her and rightfully so. Mickey's death was her fault. She should've gotten on the boat and then Mickey would've too. Laura tells Maggie they can't deal in "what if's." Laura then asks her if she has seen Mickey. Maggie doesn't understand. Laura asks if Mickey has come to her in dreams or if she has actually seen him. She tells Maggie that it's very common for loved ones who are hit hard by a death to see the person as a vision of some sort or to have that person visit them in dreams. Maggie picks up a vase and tosses it at the wall and disgusts. She says she realizes what is going on here. She says they think she is nuts and that is why they brought Laura over and have her asking these questions. That is also why they used the spare key and just let themselves in. She asks if they thought she was killing herself or self-mutilating herself. Doug, Julie, and Laura say they were merely concerned since she has shut herself off from the worls, especially since she pushed Victor out of her life. Maggie says to let her do as she pleases and orders them all to get out. She knows what they think of her and that not only do they blame her deep down for Mickey's death and are only being nice because she is family, but they also think she is a whackjob. She tells them to get out now. Julie and Laura beg Maggie to reconsider. Maggie tells them to leave now and begins to toss things around the room. Doug tells them they should go. Julie and Laura reluctantly give in. Julie asks Maggie to please let them help. Maggie yells once again for them to get out and to leave their key. Julie refuses but Laura says to do as she says or they risk having her isolate herself even more. Julie lays the key on the table and leaves with Doug and Laura. Maggie closes the door behind them and locks it. She says good riddance and that she doesn't need them or anyone else. She pulls out the vodka and begins to drink it again, only now more vigorously.

-Kayla asks Patrick if he is joking. He assures he isn't and that Steve Johnson is alive. Kayla asks how. Patrick explains that Steve has been hidden away for awhile and has been on Melaswen since Stefano and Ernesto began plans for their second island plot. Prior to that, he was hidden in Dimera lairs. Lawrence was the one that set his death up so Patrick was working for him. He left his family and Salem when he was younger to pursue his dreams. He did not want to live poor like his family in Salem and he hated seeing them that way when his father kept leaving them and coming back. His dad could never find steady work so he took off hoping to find something to acquire wealth and then share it with his family. He ended up being a con man and got into some debt at a casino. Turns out, Lawrence knew of his reputation as a con man and knew he was in debt and offered to help him out. Mimi was an infant and Connor was not even born yet so his family needed help so he took Lawrence's offer. Patrick's job was to somehow get near Steve, which he did by impersonating an intern, to give him a drug to slowly "kill" him and make him appear dead. He got this drug from Stefano Dimera and his organization, who got it themselves through Ernesto and his drug developers. Patrick gave Steve the drug and that is how we slowly saw him "die." Patrick would have to make sure Steve stayed unconcious so he would have to sneak in to the morgue and to the funeral home to keep giving him the drug. Lawrence had some people in these places on his payroll so that made it easy. Patrick also assisted in the coffin switch and bringing the "dead" Steve to a secret hideaway in Europe where he stayed for years. When Lawrence and Carly got together, Lawrence decided to let Steve go and drop any plans he had in mind for him because he would not risk Carly finding out and leaving him. This was around the time Stefano returned to Salem. Stefano heard through the crime underworld grapevine that Lawrence was selling Steve Johnson to the highest bidder. Stefano took Steve and hid him away thinking that some day he could use this in his feud with the Brady's. Lawrence was happy with this because he knew Steve would still suffer and he would still get his revenge all while not risking losing Carly. Patrick begs Kayla not to give any details of this to anyone as Lawrence and Stefano would probably come after him. Kayla says she will keep this between them for now and once again asks if it true. He says it is and writes down the instructions to get to the area where Patrick believes Stefano took him after the island was destroyed. Kayla thanks him. Patrick wonders why it is taking so long for him to be released. Kayla then tells him he isn't being released. She lied to him to get the info she needed. He is stunned as she seemed so nice and sincere. Kayla apologizes but insists he will be safer in there as she will need to tell someone what he told her. He says that he can still be reaches in prison so it won't save him. Kayla apologizes again and wishes him the best. She leaves as Patrick wonders what will become of him now. Kayla thinks about what he told her and remembers Kim telling her that Shane was investigating Steve's death for some reason. Kayla believes it has to be true and says it is time to go find her husband.

-Sami is stunned to be talking to Carrie on the phone. She asks what she is doing near Green Mountain. Carrie tells Sami she needs to bring help. Sami asks her what is wrong as she sounds scared. Meanwhile, outside Sami's apartment, Lucas and Austin walk up and Kate walks up behind them. Lucas and Austin tell Kate that it isn't a good time for her to be there as Sami's is enough of a mess. Kate says she just wants to make sure her sons are on given what is going on with Carrie. Austin opens the doors and hears Sami on the phone asking what is going on. He notices she seems very worried and agitated. Sami asks Carrie what is going on. Carrie tells her to bring help and tell them where she is. She hangs up as Alan is beginning to run towards her. Carrie is afraid of what he is about to do. Back at Sami's, Carrie keeps saying "Hello" and see notices Austin, Lucas, and Kate there. Austin asks her who she was just talking to. Sami remembers how she was just talking about how she has always been second choice and Carrie and Belle got everything. With Carrie out of the picture, she can have everything and could even choose between Austin and Lucas. She also remembers thinking about cutting Lucas and Austin lose and starting out fresh as both men might always have eyes for Carrie first. Sami thinks about Carrie and her baby and tells herself it's time to stop being the selfish, old Sami. Carrie may be in danger and that is her sister and little neice or nephew. Sami tells Austin, Lucas, and Kate that she was talking to Carrie. They all three look on stunned. Meanwhile, back in the mountains, a large pile of debris lies next to an unconscious Carrie. She has a bleeding gash on her head and Alan is nowhere to be found.

-Greta waits on the pier for the ambulance for Eric. She begs him to hold on. They arrive and she rides in the ambulance with him, urging him to be that strong guy she fell in love with years ago. They arrive at the hospital and the doctor's race him into the ER. Greta prays he will be ok.

-Faux Roman arrives at the police station and tells Roman he has big news. He tells him about falling and hitting his head and how he remembers something. He had been having nightmares that seemed like memories but he finally had a vivid recollection of that man that worked for Stefano, Dr. Rolf, talking to him before deciding what they were going to do regarding him and plastic surgery prior to him being Roman. He tells Roman he remembers Rolf saying his name is Cal Winters. Roman is happy for him and says this is a breakthrough. Once he goes to therapy, he will remember more and more. Cal thanks Roman for convincing him to stay. He really feels like things may work out well. They are interupted by a phone call telling Roman about the warehouse explosion. Roman says he has to go and tells Cal what is up. Cal asks if he can go to as they may need his help and he does have police experience. Roman says for him to come as they may need him and they leave.

-Celeste and Abe hear sirens as they are driving in his car searching for Lexie. Celeste screams out that it's too late. She feels like a part of her just died. Abe looks on horrified and hopes that Lexie is ok.

-Victor hears the news on the radio about an explosion in the warehouse district. He is pleased and congratuates Nico on a job well done. He says it should only be a matter of time before they hear of the death of Stefano Dimera.

-Nicole and Stefano search the rubble. Nicole is frantically searching for Eric, hoping he wasn't near or in the building. Stefano searches for Lexie and prays she got out. The rescue units, fire department, and police arrive and ask what happened. They are all stunned to see Stefano and he fills them all in on everything. He begs them to find his daughter. The EMT's arrive and ask if Stefano means Lexie Carver. He says yes and they tell him that they will find Dr. Carver and will give her the best care if she is injured. Abe and Celeste arrive and bump into Roman and Cal, who arrive as well. They see Nicole and ask what is going on. Nicole tells them and says she is worried Eric may have been in the building or nearby. Roman prays that is not the case but says better to be safe then sorry. Celeste tells Abe she feels Alexandra's presence was there but that it is non-existant now. Almost like she is among them anymore. Abe urges Celeste to cool it with the feelings and premonitions. Abe, Celeste, Roman, and Cal ask Nicole if she knows of anyone else who could be in there. Stefano then comes out of the shadows and says his daughter may have been. Celeste, Abe, Roman, and Cal look on stunned. Abe and Roman both lunge from Stefano but Cal holds Roman back. Abe grabs Stefano and asks him what the hell he is doing here. Stefano says that is not important but finding Alexandra is. Abe thinks he had something to do with this and tells him to tell everyone the truth. One of the rescue workers then yell out they found something and it could be a body...a woman's body. Abe puts Stefano down and both look on in shock, as do Nicole, Roman, Cal and Celeste as they screen fades to black and the credits roll.

Victor and Stefano: IT'S WAR!!!

Lexie (Renee Jones) becomes a innocent victim of the Victor/Stefano feud on "Salem Lives."

Two of Salem's most notorious villains find themselves at war with each other this week on Salem Lives after Victor's plot to eliminate Stefano puts his daughter's life in danger. "Lexie ends up getting the message that was meant for Stefano," recaps HW Tim Lowery. "She is looking for her father and ends up at the warehouse, unaware the note is fake and the warehouse is rigged to explode. Stefano ends up hearing about the note and arrives at the warehouse worried about Lexie. Nicole is there looking for Eric and both of them smell gas and hear a whistling sound. Then it's...BAM!!! The warehouse blows to pieces and Stefano and Nicole both worry about Lexie and Eric being in the building." Eric is not anywhere near the building (see story below) but Lexie was indeed in the warehouse and is now missing. "The police arrive and so do Roman and Cal (Faux Roman)," reveals Lowery. "A search for Lexie is underway but it soon seems to be becoming a recovery operation as it appears no one could've survived that blast." Is Lexie really dead? "Well, Abe and Celeste arrive there and Celeste just feels a part of her missing. It is a very emotional scene. Abe breaks down and and admits he still loves Lexie and then you have Nicole worried Eric may be in the debris. Plus, Stefano is running around desperate to find Lexie and he will lock horns with Roman, Cal, and Abe and the people of Salem as they all learn he is back in town this week," previews Lowery. "As for Lexie, the fans will just have to watch since this is just the beginning." It is just the beginning indeed as, by week's end, Stefano learns Victor was responsible for the blast and declares war on him and his family. "Things have gotten very personal and now it's time to get down and dirty. People will be choosing sides left and right and many innocent lives will be in danger. This war is huge for the whole canvas and that is not an exaggeration," cautions Lowery

Sami's BIG Sacrifice

Sami (Alison Sweeney) makes a stunning choice on "Salem Lives."

Sami does the unthinkable this week on Salem Lives when she chooses her sister over being with the man of her dreams. "Carrie escapes Alan and the cabin and calls Salem," recaps HW Tim Lowery. "Sami picks up and Carrie tells her where she is but Alan shows up and then...click...there goes the call. We then get a typical Sami moment where she actually thinks about whether or not to tell Austin and Lucas. Afterall, both men love Carrie more than her as it seems so Carrie being gone will service her nicely." Austin and Lucas catch Sami on the phone and ask her who she is talking with. Sami is at a loss for words and must decide to either take the selfless route and help Carrie or pull a typical Sami stunt that may cause further harm to her sister. She chooses the former. "It is a moment of real growth for Sami, something we are striving to do," says Lowery. "We had a few moments of growth over the summer and this is another one." Sami, Austin, and Lucas race to the area Carrie told Sami about with Kate in toll. However, things take an unexpected turn once they arrive. "Something big happens with Carrie and Alan and when Sami and the others arrive...let's just say things don't go in the direction people would think," hints Lowery.

Cassie to Chelsea: I OWN YOU!!!

Cassie (Alexis Thorpe) has herself a new foe on "Salem Lives."

A new rivalry begins in Salem this week on Salem Lives when Cassie learns that Hope is Chelsea's real mother. "Cassie just overhears Chelsea talking to herself and confronts Chelsea," previews HW Tim Lowery. "Cassie just tortures her with the fact that she can tell anyone at any time." Things get worse for Chelsea when she runs into Abby and Max at Salem Place and catches them in a close moment. "Cassie really digs into Chelsea about that too so Chelsea is falling apart by that point," reveals Lowery. Max then tells Chelsea they need to talk and breaks things off with her. "It is a little sad but she had been pushing him away so she blames herself," adds Lowery. Chelsea then sees Abby and Max walk off together and the bond is evident. "If it wasn't evident to Chelsea before, Cassie makes it very evident," laughs Lowery. "She just lays in on Chelsea real thick that she lost her boyfriend to her best friend and that she is worthless and so on." Cassie then takes it one step further when she says that no one wants a slut like Chelsea around. "Cassie even says that the reason why Chelsea won't tell Hope she is her daughter is because she is afraid Hope won't want a slutty daughter," comments Lowery. Chelsea and Cassie go at it and then are interupted when Cassie gets a phone call and must leave. Chelsea then goes home where things take another bad turn. "Chelsea sees Bo and Hope about to call it quits for good and she begins to wonder why she is even trying to be good. There is also the matter of Billie, who is on her case about her hiding something. Everything is just going so wrong for her and that isn't even the worst of it," hints Lowery. Yep, that's right-the worse is yet to come. "Chelsea will take yet another hit by week's end that will make Cassie and everything else look like school-age problems," reveals Lowery.

Horton's To The Rescue!!!

Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) goes off the deep end on "Salem Lives."

The Horton's band together to help Maggie this week on Salem Lives not realizing how lost she truly is. "Doug, Julie, and Laura arrive at Maggie's house just as Maggie has succumbed to her alcohol temptation," previews HW Tim Lowery. Maggie creates a cover story and hides the booze while Julie and Laura try to convince her to let them help her through this. "They give her the traditional don't push us away speech and all Maggie is focused on is the vodka," says Lowery. Things take a rough turn when Maggie learns that Laura is there to examine her mental health. "Maggie just loses it and kicks them all out," says Lowery. "Now she goes from just wanting to have a few drinks to downing the whole bottle. The self-control is now gone as she feels betrayed and alone and the guilt, pain, and heartbreak over Mickey's death is eating at her," explains Lowery. By week's end, Maggie has lost total control and the Horton's are worried sick when Maggie doesn't answer their calls. Alice, Doug, Julie, and Laura realize she may be in more trouble then they realize and even being to wonder if she has fallen off the wagon. "They have no evidence of it but the idea comes up," says Lowery. This prompts the Horton's to take action...and to call in reinforcements.

Greta Learns Eric's Secret!!!

Greta (Julianne Morris) makes a stunning discovery on "Salem Lives."

The cat is out of the bag for Eric this week on Salem Lives when Greta learns the secret he has been keeping since returning to Salem. "Eric and Greta are arguing over his secret and he collapses in Greta's arms," reveals HW Tim Lowery. "She calls an ambulance and he ends up in the ER." Eventually, the doctor's come out but they won't tell Greta anything. "Eric makes them promise not to tell anyone anything and to make sure no one but Greta knows he is there," says Lowery. Greta takes matters into her own hands and find out his secret on her own. "She plays detective and is shocked by what she finds out," previews Lowery. "The secret is a real doozy."

STEVE IS ALIVE!!!

Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) gets life-altering news on "Salem Lives."

Kayla gets shocking news this week on Salem Lives when she learns her husband, Steve "Patch" Johnson, isn't dead afterall. "Patrick had been hinting at a big secret for weeks," recaps HW Tim Lowery. "Kayla finally got in to see him in prison but he wanted to bargain for his freedom so Kayla enlists the help of a guard to trick Patrick into telling her what he knows and he does." Patrick tells her how Steve is alive, where he has been, how he knows, etc and even tells Kayla he knows where he is. "He gives her everything but there is no visual proof," cautions Lowery. "It is just his word." Kayla remembers that Shane was investigating Steve's death and wonders if he did that because he knew of something fishy. "Between what Patrick told her and Shane investigating the death, Kayla is totally convinced and is ready to go find her husband," reveals Lowery. By week's end, Kayla makes a stunning decision prior to leaving to find Steve. "She does something that will not onle put her in danger but others in danger as well," warns Lowery.

Farah Fath (Mimi Lockhart) and Eric Winter (Rex Dimera): As previously reported, Fath and Winter last aired on August 29 when Mimi and Rex left Salem with Connor.

Kyle Brandt (Philip Kiriakis): Brandt last aired on July 25 as a body double was substituted for Brandt during Philip's final scenes from that point on. The character of Philip made his last appearance on August 30 when he was shipped off to San Francisco to recover.

Jason Cook (Shawn Brady): As previously reported, Cook will exit the role in late September and the role will not be recast at this time.

Wayne Northrup (Wendell): Northrup, who as placed on recurring following the climax of the island story, is no longer with the show. Sources say there were no immediate plans for him but that he can pop back up at any point.

Thaoo Penghlis (Tony/Andre Dimera): Penghlis, who has been on recurring, is no longer with the show. Insiders say the plans to have a "search for Tony" have been put on hold until early next year. The character of Andre will not be making anymore further appearances. as he was believed to have died on July 24, so don't expect Penghlis to be around anytime soon.

Who's Staying?

Charles Cioffi (Ernesto Toscano): As previously reported, the actor will remain on recurring as Ernesto's presence will continue to be felt in Salem.

Patsy Pease (Kimberly Brady) and Charles Shaughnessy (Shane Donovan): Shaughnessy, who returned in June, will remain on recurring at this time. Pease, who returned to Salem for the funerals for those who perished on the island, will return to Salem in October and remain on recurring. Both will play roles in many stories this Fall.

Jaime Lyn Bauer (Laura Horton): Bauer, who returned for the island funerals in August, will remain on recurring at this time.

Jensen Ackles and Arianne Zuker (Eric Brady and Nicole Walker): Both actors, who made short term returns in May, will remain with the show at least through the end of the year. Some insiders hint that Zuker will stay put on the show as it is said TPTB want her to sign a long term deal but there is no confirmation yet.

Josh Taylor (Faux Roman/Cal Winters): Despite the revelation that his character was not the real Roman Brady, Taylor will be staying with the show for the forseeable future. Expect to dive further into the character's past as the Fall progresses.

Status Change

Tanya Boyd (Celeste Perrault): As previously reported, Boyd was downgraded to recurring once again after plans for her front burner story were put on hold for the time being. Expect Boyd to still be a prominent fixture on the show.

Billy Warlock (Frankie Brady): As previously reported, Warlock has been downgraded to recurring as there are no immediate frontburner story plans for Frankie.

Alexis Thorpe (Cassie Dimera): As previously mentioned, Thorpe's scheduled short-term stint has now become a recurring gig. Expect the character to become more and more prominent as the Fall progresses (for more on Cassie's new story see above).

Hello Steve and Will!!!

As previously reported, Brody Hutzler (Patrick) has been let go and will last appear on September 5. The exit is storyline dictated. "Patrick may be back at some point as he knows Dimera secrets but, for now, he has served his purpose," says EP Ned Yadroc.

One actor exits as two others are set to enter, one being a returnee. Yes, folks, the cat is out of the bag. The mystery return is none other then Steve "Patch" Johnson. "Steve was the mystery man seen dragged out of the burning island compound," says Yadroc. "We figured the fans would figure out with Kayla back Steve couldn't be far behind and here he is. His return will be HUGE for the whole canvas and his reunion with Kayla will be very emotional," promises Yadroc. What about Stephanie Johnson, was was recently recasted with Shayna Rose? "We will be bringing her on at some point but, for right now, she will be living out of Salem," says Yadroc. "She will make visits, especially to see her father, but nothing long term is planned until we have a full purpose for her beyond her family."

The other big news-Will Roberts is returning to Salem. Will was last seen played by Christopher Gerse in the Spring and will return in mid-late September in the form of Jeremy Sumpter. Sumpter is perhaps most famous for his role in the most recent film version of "Peter Pan" and for his work in the short-lived TV series "Clubhouse," which also starred Kirsten Storms (ex-Belle). "We just think he is perfect for Will, praises Yadroc. "He resembles Ali (Sweeney, Sami) and Bryan (Dattilo, Lucas), can act, and will fit in well with the story we want to tell." Look for Will to play a part in several stories this fall and to even get one of his own come mid to late Fall. "He will be a part of the Alan story and the big Sami and Lucas story coming up but, eventually, he will have his own story to carry which I think the fans might find controversial but very powerful." Again, Sumpter will first appear in the role in mid to late September.
