  1. I don’t remember seeing a scene where they really got into discussing it, but I have read other people on other boards recall something along the lines of “she knew Bobbie was going to be a prostitute anyway so she’s safer with her as her madam”.
  2. Maybe madams were though of as different back in the day? There is a point in late 1983 where Bobbie and Ruby's past is outed by Jackie Templeton ( and 40 plus years later her son would be trying to put Bobbie's grandson in jail) during Luke's campaign for Mayor and they acted like an outing of a person spending a few years as a sex worker as a teenager and a person who presumably spend decades running girls were equivalent outings.
  3. Going through the show it’s always weird when we have a Ruby/ Bobbie scene considering Ruby was Bobbie’s madam when she was a teenager sex worker. Wasn’t there a line during one of Bobbie’s funeral episodes where Carly or someone else called Ruby a sex trafficker?
  4. When you keep in mind that his Grandma was also a sex worker, Michael may have some issues.
  5. It would be nice if we lived in a world where John Stamos ( and some version of Mike Webber) could appear in Lesley’s funeral episode but it’s unlikely to happen.
  6. I’m making my way through the Monty era for the first time and it’s kind of a whiplash going from the wacky Webber house sitcoms antics of 1983 to seeing the family unit disassembled a few months later. Killing off Lesley and then Blackie going to jail within two months was certainly a choice. In fact when you add DL Brock abusing Bobbie, this is kind of a glum era of the show (well compared with the rest of the Monty era).
  7. In the somewhat convoluted explanation that had no flashbacks, Alice says she accidentally shot Diana when trying to stop her from shooting Heather (who was there to kill her). I prefer to think she shot Diana on purpose in a split second decision to stop her daughter from becoming a murderer.
  8. Waiting to see a story in the Times or Politico with a headline like “Candidates to replace incapacitated western NY Congressman include the Congressman’s Wife who was just acquitted of trying to murder him and ex-con lawyer who’s father once tried to blackmail world with weather machine”.
  9. And to mess with Karen, Abby would become the biggest Eric/Ginger shipper.
  10. The show has three different cheating husbands at the same time and Kenny was by far the least interesting. Now if only Eric Fairgate was a few years older in circa season 2 or 3 than maybe he and Ginger should of had an affair.
  11. I've been watching the murder of Diana Taylor storyline on youtube and she has to be one of the GH characters who has suffered the worst. two dead children within a few years, (it seems whenever I read about pre-Monty GH there is always a storyline about a child dying) her husband dies, and then after become a supporting character she is brutally killed.
  12. I've been watching circa-1980 GH on youtube recently and I don't know if it's because the 2002 retcon is in my head, but something seems a little off with Rick Webber for me. I don't know if its the performance of Chris Robinson but him being retconned into being a creepy dude does not really feel so crazy.
  13. I don't mind that Sonny has kind of become 2026 Dan Rooney. Is this the longest he has gone without being in an official relationship? He has had so few scenes with Nu Michael that I forget they are supposed to be father and son.
  14. Maybe the eyelid mites shot Drew and framed Willow.
  15. Has this footage been seen on Youtube before?
