Yeah, but why would ABC kill one show to save the other because it can't compete with a rival show? I doubt The Goldbergs would hold up any better than Blackish against Empire. I don't see ABC doing that.

I wanted to say something else but this what I'm going to say. They don't want to keep switching back and forth from Empire & Blackish or they would miss out on the plots.

But can you guys believe folks want to petition ABC to switch The Goldbergs/Blackish time slots so that Blackish doesn't haven't to go against Empire, another predominantly black show? Its the most ridiculous thing in the world. The networks have proven who they favor, and why would anyone kill one show to save another? That's just foolish!

I don't think that Lucious was testing Cookie. Not even a little bit. He placed her at the head of his table because that's where he wants her to be and that's where he feels she belongs. It's her place. Don't let him fool you.

And also think that Lucious enjoys the way that Cookie behaves while at the same time thinking that he shouldn't.

I wasn't even talking about the head of the table incident. Like when Anika did that cough. Cookie looks at Lucious, Lucious did something with his eyes. Like he gave her the ok to say something.

I would about die if Debbi Morgan got on this show. Make it happen, Lee Daniels! But it would cut like a knife, too, since Debbi ran daytime on AMC two summers ago. It is a travesty that show is not still on.

Also, Anika does do a pretty good strategic retreat when she needs to. Ask yourself if you would have given up your chair to Cookie, if that was really your house and your husband. Anika did, because she didn't think Lucious would back her if she put up a fight.
