I liked today's show. I did lol at Grace calling Carter a hustler and at the way she's been reacting to his engagement to Paris. Carter is using Paris and Paris is acting very naive about the whole situation. Acting like there isn't anything strange about how quickly Carter proposed and how he wants to get married ASAP. (Tomorrow on the show). Plus she stated she wanted to invite Zende, and acting like she believes he will be cool with being at the wedding.

Speaking of Zende,  I have sympathy for him and him liking him more throughout this situation. I do think he may accept Paris's invitation, but I don't think he will be thrilled to be at the wedding. He hasn't been confrontational and has handled the situation with Carter/Paris in a mature way. But I wouldn't minded seeing him have more of a problem with things. I also liked that he was talking to Ridge the other day and referred to him as "Uncle." Nice to see that relationship/ familial ties showcased a little.  

This version of Ridge can be very overbearing though he made some good points about Carter and how he's handling things with Paris and his feelings for Quinn. Carter could try and date Paris more first, or have a longer courtship like Grace suggested. But he just wants to rush into things and it's making him look flaky and isn't the decision that a mature man like him should be making. Carter has often been a pretty level headed guy, but he hasn't been acting that way as much lately. 

I have been enjoying the show lately. I look forward to Finn reuniting with Steffy and their family. I did like seeing Li fight back against Sheila the other day. I hope Li is still alive and will show up at some point to help bring Shelia down. I did think it was kind of amusing how after Li knocked Shelia down, she went after her on the ground. Li wanted to get in some more licks lol. Shelia really has done a lot to her family, had an affair with her husband, had her unknowingly raising his biological child, shooting him and leaving him to die in cold blood, along with his wife/mother of his child. Li could have/should have been whooped Sheila's behind lol. 

Also, I'm not caring for this stuff with Paris/Carter though I do think that CC is good casting as Paris's mother. Carter is definitely using Paris and they don't have chemistry IMO. I really wish that the show would have just explored a romantic pairing with Paris/Thomas. Paris/Thomas had good chemistry and he genuinely wanted her unlike Carter. Carter is using her and it's not a good storyline.

I would have rather had seen her and Thomas together, (possibly starting out with a triangle with Zende.) Speaking of Zende while I was not a fan of them together, I do think she had more chemistry with him than she does Carter. Plus, I like Zende/Thomas's dynamic/relationship/friendly professional rivalry. It could have been interesting to see what happened if they had been in a triangle with Paris.

I liked Carter/Quinn's scenes today thought I did hear a whole lot of "This is about me..." from Quinn today. She was trying to make it seem like just about everything Carter was doing regarding Paris was about him trying to deal with his feelings for Quinn. And while some of it was, he does have other reasons for wanting to rekindle things with Paris including wanting to be married and have a family. Carter did get a bit emotional at the end crying as he was talking to Quinn.

Carter has mentioned multiple times he wants a family. I do wonder if Paris might get pregnant with his child at some point, maybe around the time him and Quinn decide to try and really make it work as a couple. That could add more drama/conflict to that story. Other people have speculated that maybe Quinn actually ends up pregnant with his child at some point, though I don't know if the show would write that to happen.

lol. She really was doing a whole lot there with that kiss. And Nik fell for her manipulation, though I wonder if he will stop things from going further tomorrow. This version of Nikolas isn't smart. Today Laura said that she thought that he had changed for the better since he got with Ava, but I think he's changed for the worse. He has acted very dumb many times since he has gotten with her.

We know I ain't heavy on them spoilers.  But I hope he don't go cray cray. He has a lot of potential so far and the writers do seem like they have gone through a lot to develop him a little bit. 

 

For now...at least, I can put some of that BTS drama off. 

 

Yeah. I don't know what happened to him, but ewww. It got to the point one could not unsee and it felt like Jax the character was just IR being himself.

 

I was hoping that all that buildup to Carly running the mob with Jax lecturing her was leading to him being the target to a mob hit from the Novaks...probably at Carly and Jason's wedding. But alas...

 

 

I think that Rorina possibly getting together could actually help further fuel Sprina's romance. Spencer getting more jealous and besides himself as he sees Trina/Rory getting closer/dating could help come to terms with his feelings for Trina sooner. He's already acting a bit jealous of them now, referencing Rory as "that guy"/"him". and the way he acted when he saw them in the gallery the last time. Intentionally knocking over the sculpture and acting jealous when he asked Trina if she had shown Rory a piece of artwork. That's going to intensify as she gets closer/possibly dates Rory. I think that could help make an interesting and romantic triangle.  I would like to see the show pick up the pace with this story.

I want to see Spencer tell someone that he's in love with Trina. Heck that person could even be Ava, after they find out about that mess that is happening with Nikolas/Esme lol. He can distance himself further from Esme and continue to work on trying to help Trina/win her away from Rory. Maybe he will confess his feelings to her after she gets with Rory. That would be soapy. I could see something like that happening as/after her trial concludes.

I like seeing Trina being the center of a triangle, I wish Rory/an acceptable romantic rival for Spencer would have showed up even earlier in this story. But I am fine with the way things are playing out now, though I wish that the show would pick up the pace a bit. This show currently tends to drag with a lot of its romances including Sprina and Chase/Brook Lynn.

I mean... lol.  I do think that Esme's plan regarding Nikolas is soapy but she acting like she wants to gobble him up. They are moving at a faster pace than Chase/Brook Lynn who have had feelings for each other for a while, but are still acting awkward around each other. Including on today's show. I do wish the show would pick up the pace with Chase/Brook Lynn, the will they or won't they get together angst needs to be over for those two and they need to become an official couple, IMO.

I think that more than likely Sprina will end up together, but I could see Trina dating Rory/him becoming her boyfriend first. I have enjoyed their interactions so far and I see good chemistry between them.  I just don't see as much romantic chemistry between TA/NC's version of Sprina so far. Particularly "softer" romantic chemistry, though them being at odds right now could be factoring into things.  I do think this current version of Sprina have a good angsty/"at odds" type of chemistry/dynamic going on and I thought their recent scenes at the gallery were good. I thought those scenes showed the potential with them and I've seen flashes elsewhere like at Kelly's when Cam knocked him out and she rushed over to his side. I think the show could build with them and their chemistry could possibly grow.

I would like to see that happen during more scenes with them together as this story unfolds. I think this triangle could end up being good. TA talked a little about it the recent SOD, when she talked about Trina having two different types of men interested in her. She did say Rory was a good guy in that interview. I think he may be that way unless the show ends up doing something else with him.

I haven't been able to watch much tv the past several months due to work. But I have considered checking out this show. From what I've heard, reviews I've read it sounds like it's very funny and charming. It sounds like they have an entertaining/charming take on realistic situations in the school system.

I wonder if Esme does end up fully seducing Nikolas.  according to upcoming spoilers from on tv tonight for this week and next Ava will wonder what Nikolas is thinking about. It seems like something might be weighing on his mind, possibly him cheating with Esme. Also according to spoilers, things get awkward after Curtis and Portia catch Rory and Trina together. The spoiler mentioned "opening the door" to them. Maybe they catch them kissing or something. I think they could end up dating, before Spencer confesses his feelings to Trina. Speaking of Sprina, Ava will accuse Spencer next week of having feelings for her. Also,  Britt will also want someone to be arrested this week. I'm thinking that will be Josh Kelly's character after they interact at the social events at the pool. Also Brad and Obrecht are going to stage an intervention for Brooke, and she will call her lawyer.

GH has problematic actors and actress that have managed to be their character and it does not color my perspective...lord that IR mess though.

Yeah I wonder how things will shake out, including regarding how Rory's story with Trina develops going forward. I do understand that this may color some people's perspective of Rory going forward. I can separate the character from the actor in various cases (though not necessarily all especially if an actor seems extremely terrible/evil).  I can do that here for the time being especially if Michael is sincere about being better. And for now it seems like we will be seeing quite a bit of Rory/Trina going forward from what I've seen in spoilers. I will post some more spoilers about them in the summer preview thread).

IMO, they do have good chemistry, even better than what I've seen between her and NC/Spencer and I didn't originally think they would make Rory a psycho or anything like that. I do wonder in light of recent developments if their plans may change for the character or Rory, his role in Trina's story. For now I think it stays the same, but I do wonder what might happen later on.

And agreed that hopefully Rory won't become a psycho. Spencer/Trina/Rory has the potential to be a great triangle, especially after Esme is exposed. I'm looking forward to seeing jealous Spencer again

I really enjoyed the Rory/Trina/Spencer scenes today.  Right now I'm seeing more romantic chemistry with Rory/Trina than with this version of Sprina. I do think this version of Sprina is getting better together, though I want to see them interact more. I liked seeing them talk with each other alone at the gallery today. Spencer came off a bit aloof at first, because of his jealously of Rory/Trina and him trying to deal with his feelings for Trina.  I do think this version of Sprina has nice angsty chemistry, and there was something classic about the way they interacted at the gallery today. As well as the way that Spencer acted with Esme afterwards.

But I would like to see softer/more romantic moments between them and see them develop more romantic chemistry. I have seen flashes like when Spencer first saw Rory and Trina at the gallery before Esme showed up and after Cam knocked him out and Trina went over by his side. They need to spend more time together and build their dynamic/chemistry more. I feel like Spencer is still spending too much time fooling around with Esme. Spencer is definitely bothered by his fractured relationship with Trina and struggling with his feelings for her and I am interested in seeing how that plays out. 

Rory and Trina are still very cute and I continue to enjoy their easy chemistry together. I thought today's scenes where Trina was checking them out at the pool were amusing. And TA looked pretty again today, wardrobe/hair/makeup is doing a good job with her. I look forward to seeing how Rorina's own romance develops and seeing how that impacts the triangle with Spencer.

Also Scott made me laugh during the hearing today. I laughed when he asked what type of "fitness" test did Michael's family need after all of the stuff they have done, when Michael was trying to act like Nina was unfit. He is a bright spot in that story.

I've seen some Sprina fans on Twitter saying they think he's being suspicious. It seems like some of them are hoping he's a bad guy. I hope not. I don't see anything suspicious, about the way he's been acting. He geniuniely seems like a good guy to me. Some people have mentioned that he's popped up places where Trina has been, so did Spencer and the same people didn't have an issue with that lol.  Rory shows up at public places (plus was assigned to protect her), while Spencer showed up at more places in addition to not telling the truth about his identity at first.

I love Spencer and Sprina, but Rory has done no worse in his interaction with Trina, then Spencer did at first. He's actually behaved better. Rory seems like he's really into Trina and wants her cleared. I would rather have Trina choose between him as a good guy and Spencer than have her with two men with baddie tendencies, lol. Or worse yet one them being written as psycho.

I hope Rory stays good (though he can still be developed with more of a background/connections, etc...) I do wonder if some point, they might have him exit the show, but hopefully not because they made him psycho. If Trina ends up with Spencer and Rory sticks around, I do wonder what they might do with the character. 

I am really liking the way that they have been styling TA/Trina lately. She looks good. I really liked her outfit on today's show, that may be my favorite outfit they have put her in so far. Her hair and makeup also looked good. I am enjoying her with Rory, I think they have nice chemistry and there is an easy going/comfortable vibe between them. Rory seems like a good guy, and I'm glad. I think that the other guy in a triangle with Trina/Spencer should be a good guy. I think it makes her decision more soapy, choosing between a good guy on paper and Spencer who has more faults/worse traits, but who she shares a connection with as well. I am interested in seeing how things play out in this story.

Nina's hearing may be the least interesting story for me on the show right now. I think I even like the stuff with Marshall better than the hearing stuff lol. Speaking of Marshall, I did like the scenes between him, Curtis and TJ the other day bonding and acting like a family. And then Aunt Stella joining them as well. 

Cheri Beasley won the NC Senate primary very quickly. And it looks like this state may finally get rid of Madison Cawthorn as a representative in Congress. I know that people in this state are fed up with him and his antics including members of his own party. Maybe he will indeed be ousted tonight. I am interested in seeing how things shake out now with the PA senate races. I'm watching the CNN coverage and it's interesting. One of the analysts was also discussing how she interviewed people in a Walmart in PA a few days ago and that some of them were very angry/indifferent and were not open to voting.

I went and voted in the NC primary today after work. My new polling place is very close to where I live, like a four minute walking distance. 

I am interested in seeing how things shake out in this year's primaries, especially the NC one. We have a lot of Senate candidates on the Democrat ballot, including several black candidates. I think that some of the candidates are pretty interesting.

I've been working a lot the past several months. This time of year I work a whole lot (between governmental job and my last job that I worked prior to that, where I agreed to come back and work on a part-time/part year basis. I held my prior/part time/part year second job for several years before the governmental one and I have another retirement account with them, that I want to continue to add to). Though I have been having a loaded work schedule, I tried to carve out time to research the candidates as it got closer to election day.

Some of the senate candidates are definitely very interesting and accomplished. I am interested to see what happens there, though it looks like Cherie Beasley is the front runner there. I met the candidate I voted for, for one of the NC house of representative seats. I had met him back during the last general election. I did do some research on his opponent and found out he was just recently arrested. So that made my decision for that race easier, lol. I do wish that some candidates would have more information on their page. A few of senate candidates were a bit thin on the information they provided. And I really couldn't find anything regarding the city council candidates, though someone them did hand me some information about a couple of them at the site. It does help if people provide more information about their background and where they stand on various issues. 

Count me in as another one who has doubts about the story about the Academy asking Will to leave afterwards. I think they may be putting out that report in respond to the criticism they have received regarding this incident. I also think that the punishment they dole out could be significantly impacted by that as well. 

I still think that things are being overblown, by a lot of people. Including people that like to make things about themselves, people that like to get worked over stuff and those that don't have anything better to do. Will shouldn't have done it, but there are people that are being very OTT with their reactions and takes.

I am continuing to enjoy the new Trina and her take on the role. I also think that Rory is cute and he seems like he likes Trina. He seems like he's a nice guy and a romance between him and Trina could be interesting. I could see them having chemistry. If the show does something with them, I hope they keep him as a nice guy. It would be interesting watching Trina balance her feelings for him and Spencer who is still struggling with things and has got some bad stuff going on. 

Speaking of Spencer he appears to be softening towards Esme now that he thinks she may be pregnant with his child. I had thought maybe he didn't really believe that Trina was guilty and that he was putting on a show in front of Rory. But it seems like he might actually think that and/or he's blinded by his feelings about Esme possibly being pregnant with his child. Like Trina mentioned yesterday, when she mentioned he needed to see the best in Esme right now. I believe he could have/should have been written to both believe Trina, but still show some concern for Esme because he thinks she's pregnant with his baby. Not being completely fooled by Esme (if that is what is really happening and he's not pretending to doubt Trina.)

I do wonder what the Academy may end up doing regarding the incident last night. Maybe he won't be able to come back at least for a year. Or maybe he actually will and him and Chris will brush things over and present next year or something, you never know. I can understand that people don't like what will Will did and he was better off not doing it. That being said I do think that a lot of people at least on places like Twitter are really being OTT with their reactions. A lot of the stuff I've seen being said is just wrong, cringey and downright disingenuous.

Stuff like trying to say that Will may be a domestic abuser at home (when there is no prior evidence pointing to that) or in the case of Howard Stern saying he's the same person as Trump, is just wrong. People talking about how they don't like violence but then also suggesting that Jada should have been the one to slap Chris or acting like they wish that Will would have slapped someone like Jason Momoa so he could possibly get hit back/beat up is cringey and disingenuous. OTT feminists (mainly white women) making it all about them and not even mentioning Jada's name in their criticisms or heck even Chris's is also cringey. Like it was already mentioned this is it's own isolated/separate situation and should be treated as such not about certain women pontificating and trying to once again make everything about them. As well as some other stuff I'm seeing that is very unfortunate.

Hopefully Will/Chris/Jada will work things out, heck maybe they already have. Will is not going to jail (nor should he IMO) and I don't think he's going to lose his Oscar (Nor should he IMO).

I'm not going to lie in spite of what happened tonight I still enjoyed that speech from Will and found it moving. Him hitting Chris wasn't his finest moment by any means, but I still think that things may work out for him when it's all said and done.

She really didn't look pleased with Chris's joke and I think that and all of the embarrassing stuff Will has had to deal with/hear about her, their marriage finally pushed him to his breaking point. Yeah I think he's tired of it all, especially their personal business being put out there causing him to be made fun of, ( and granted a great bulk of that has been done by Jada) I think that Chris's joke about Jada's hair was indeed the last straw for Will. I do wonder how things will play out now especially if he wins Best Actor (Which I saw that he has been predicted to win by several sites.)
