  1. Hey everyone, I just found these - they aren't new but being on DC makes them a little more solid: The LATEST RUMORS attached to the sweeps-like stunt? One is that everything flashes forward six weeks. We'll see the aftermath and then "go back" to see what happened that led to that point. IF this is the way they're going, the ending of this "arc" SHOULD be right as MARCH SWEEPS kicks off. Other RUMORS... bad drugs play a part as patients die and some Port Chuck residents are in danger after receiving the faulty meds. Is a Quartermaine hurt during the crisis? Tracy is RUMORED to be injured and one of the patients who gets the bad meds. New Years Black Out. The MetroCourt loses power on New Year's Eve. Carly and Jax spend it together in the MC Restaurant. Luke and Tracy also ring in the new year together. Lulu and Johnny make plans and drop them in favor of spending some time alone. Will Jax and Carly reconnect? RUMOR has it they will but I wouldn't get too excited just yet CarJax fans. This is Guza and he loves the angst. I can't wait until this afternoon. :* BTW, there is a rumor that an actress is leaving voluntarily and the name bandied around is none other than .
  2. I try. Sometimes the ewcbo fans make it easy. Tracy? Tracy Quartermaine-Spencer? Are you sure we're talking about the same characters who's never so much as broken a fingernail? That Tracy gets injured? Seriously? Teflon Mama is hurt and needs medical attention? I be stunned.....
  3. Sigh.... I wish I could join you. I can't wait until I get my 'puter fixed.
  4. Yeah, but what would be the purpose? Every rag, spoiler website and gossip spot have said Dec. 30th is a big day for LuNacy. Even Scrubs didn't get the 'must watch' coverage that LuNacy has been getting. I noticed the couples being featured tomorrow are all solid, even if their place on the romantic road might be different. Spixie - not quite on their way; Nicadine - on their way but still uncertain; JoLu - certain of their love and wanting to take the next step; CarJax - have taken the next step and have to work out their potholes; and LuNacy - worked out decades of potholes and know life is better together than seperate. It's poetic, it's happening, and I can't wait to see what we will be given. EDIT Hey everyone, have a read - it's worth it... http://www.daytimeconfidential.com/2008/12...ch-for-tomorrow
  5. I disagree LB, if anything he just stuck another fork into LnL and compared Tracy to Lila, and LuNacy to Lila/Edward. That was pretty significant. Did you ever think you'd see the day that Edward would tell Luke to romance Tracy with diamonds? And if LuNacy gets even half the effort Scrubs and everyone else has been getting lately, we're gold!
  6. Abbreviated Recaps, Monday December 29th Robin and Patrick's wedding is really sweet; CarSon with Michael will break your heart; Sam and Jax talk about Jerry's death; Jason and Sonny are truly at odds; Sam and Jason discuss the Fed wanting info on Spinelli; Spin fantasizes about singing and dancing with Maxie (Gershwin's "Can't Take that Away from Me"; not only can Kirsten sing, she can dance) Edward and Epiphany dance at the wedding. Luke looks very happy and content to be with Robert and Anna, and his face is registering that the whole wedding is touching him in surprising ways. In one scene Edward walks over to the table where Luke is sitting alone and begs him again to do whatever it takes to get back into Tracy's good graces. Luke says he's done everything he can think of, to which Edward scoffs - Edward's done the phony heart attack thing too and it didn't get him anywhere. Luke asks what he should do and Edward tells Luke to romance Tracy. Luke is surprised Edward would suggest this, and Edward said Lila kicked him out plenty of times so he knows personally that the best way to get back with the woman you love is to grovel, preferably with something big and diamond in your hand. Personally, I hope this is a huge set-up for tomorrow.
  7. Who knows. Reports are TR is coming for 3 months in the spring and CT has been spoken to about returning as Helena. Tracy not in the previews is no big - remember the best stuff is never spoiled. She was all over spoilers last January and nothing came of it. Johnny seems to be the one to distract Luke, which is fair and good. Not only is he Lulu's boyfriend, he's also trying to get away from the mob life and Luke/Tracy are the only ones who've done that successfully to date. She'll be around. Even if that person who had the days in January correct, JE is on upwards of 8 days in January. EDIT Okay, I just read the actual article rather than skimming to the Luke stuff. The hospital is in the middle of a benefit when all hell breaks loose - that means the Chief of Staff and the Chair of the Hospital Board have to be around. Perhaps that's the reason they pushed through Monica for HofS. If that had been the story they would have taken a lot longer and it would have been on screen. But the Q's have been making a big deal of the fact that Mon. has that job and Eddie/Tracy got it for her.
  8. Quote it all you want. It's a perfect way to end the year that hasn't been great for our couple. I'll have the keyboard all warmed up for tomorrow, believe me.
  9. Thanks Sweetie, I really appreciate that. Great vid!!!! And Lainey-me-luv, you have just upped my curiosity into you in r/l (like it needed any encouragement). I'm not even sure what you were talking about, but you obviously know. I was reminded of your encouragement with my writing. You are truly a gift around here.
  10. I'm enjoying the "Trek-mas" marathon on Space channel, but I took a break to read this on the IL: The end of the 2nd week in january zooms 6 weeks into the future. Each episode will then focus on flashbacks from different character perspectives. Viewers will see glimpses of how things have changed for that character as they show viewers more and more about how the canvas was turned around the way it will be. But in essence for the characters and the show it really is 6 weeks later. Time will catch up on itself for the first day of March sweeps. So as spoilers start coming in remember they could be for the present or the flashforward. A few hints: Someone is "dead," three others are really really dead, someone is in a coma, someone has the child he always wanted, someone faces hurting the woman he loves to save a child, couple swaps, couples in love now are later couples in hate (and I do mean multiple couples, as in more than 4 couples), a near rape, a surprising arrest, a new pregnancy and a really big explosion. It sounds cool, and if this is Guza's "never been done before" then he might be right. I think we can be pretty sure Tracy isn't one of the dead and LuNacy isn't one of the broken couples, so as long as they get a POV show regardless this could be interesting.
  11. Friday, December 26th Luke was on, but not doing much. He had one brief conversation with Robert about walking Robin down the aisle. Robert still doesn't feel he's worthy but Luke told Robert he did things Robin will always be proud of and that he's being too hard on himself. Robert said just wait until it's his turn, it's not a comfortable place to be. Luke told him he hoped it wasn't too soon, then left. Anna enters and asks Robert if Luke was trying to steal him away and Robert assured her Luke was seeing his future and was uncomfortable. Dialogue is definitely improving. Today Edward and Luke were at the wedding but no explanation given for why Monica and Tracy weren't. Edward told Piph he's seen her in action and "Tact" certainly isn't in her lexicon (another word, but I can't remember exactly). The talk between Robert and Patrick was cute - instead of the Dad thing, Robert asked Patrick what he would want to hear from the man who married Emma. There were a number of flashbacks of Robin over the years (Robin telling Mac she was HIV positive; Stone and Robin talking about her wedding dreams after he was diagnosed; Robert meeting Robin for the first time). And the mobbies are back on. Sasha's death and a bunch of off screen bombings have kicked the Russians out of Port Charles (hey, didn't we have spoilers that there were all sorts of bombs supposed to happen? We got some fires and I'm still not thrilled about Kelly's, but it wasn't as destructive and bleak as we were told to expect). Jason wants Sonny to walk away from the Z's. And Claudia is looking for the DVD Jerry hid "in the eyes or her soul". Other story was briefly Sam in hospital and then Alexis brought her home. Lucky was there for Sam and they have reconnected. Very quick, no depth, but still sweet.
  12. There were great, thank you. I especially loved the second. Ms.Q, on my husbands dilapidated computer (yeah, mine still isn't working properly - but at least I can be here), I can't open your vid. When will it be on YouTube? Hooked, all I can say is that I'd probably have the same reaction to July in Houston. I've read everything and I'm wondering why you aren't enjoying it? Even your MIL seems less of a pill. We are all creatures of our environment, that's for sure. I'll be happy for you when you get home. Christmas Day was good here, and really relaxed. The younger two were up around 6:30 and the older two were up by 7. We had breakfast, I baked the birthday cake and prepared the stuffing, then we sat around and opened presents. By 8:30 I was cleaning up the wrapping and the kids were happily playing with their new toys and watching new movies. The turkey was a bit dry because my husband decided the temperature was too low and increased it while I was in the shower (not amused by that one, I can assure you), but everything else was great. I usually don't get presents, but my Guides gave me chocolates and hot chocolate, and I did receive a puzzle. So Mommy had a toy to play with yesterday too. Now it's the day after and no way in h*ll am I going anywhere near a store today. Boxing Day is as crazy as your Black Friday. My sanity is worth a whole lot more than a sales price. I don't think we'll see Tracy today (though I am holding hope of being surprised). Daytime Confidential has said they are on spoiler break for a week so I don't think we will be seeing anything new and exciting. That said, these are what I have gleaned for you: Luke closes the Haunted Star to spend a romantic evening with Tracy. (same stuff we've had, but I just like seeing their names in spoilers) Luke takes action to help Johnny. (perhaps this is the person who 'distracts' him - I'd rather that than a newbie) Soap Net's "Gifts We'd Give" to GH characters: Luke and Tracy get the first gift - Couples Counseling-style foam baseball bats (yeah, it's been done.... but they're first in a list that includes Jake and all the mobbies) Jane Elliot is nominated once again in the 2nd Annual Spirit Awards - which is created by Nelson Branco (luv that Canuck) And that's all I've got....
  13. Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah.... I come bearing gifts.... First from the IL (originally from ABC Hotsheets) Luke manages to get through to Tracy using symbolism that only Luke and Tracy can really understand (think gambling). And secondly (click on the package to open it)....
  14. I just tried, Star. The voicemail box is full. I hope they get plenty of positive feedback and keep giving us this type of writing. They obviously have the talent, they just need the will and vision. I realized today might have been their Christmas Eve show, but we've been getting serious holiday celebration since last week and it goes until NYE. I can't wait until Luke has a real reason to be happy. EDIT Hooked, they seriously love you on that site... and especially for Tracyfan Luke and Tracy reunite just before midnight on New Year's. Happy Holidays to you and yours play nice
  15. Incentive could also mean a man is snooping around Tracy and Luke is getting jealous. Lately the writers have Luke making a point that he wants to be with Tracy but what if suddenly he realizes someone more worthy of her is interested and he has to fight to be worthy of her himself. The show has been getting better and LuNacy has had a good showing AND the dialogue might be on the same theme but it certainly isn't repetitive. That's spoilers in two printed rags for early in the new year. That's a great thing.
  16. Who knows what's happened since those first spoilers were mentioned until now. If any Tracy stuff was cut, I'm glad that was the one, but even so the mind is turning..... The rest of the show was great. BA said is was a stand alone, but I'm not convinced. Robin's PPD is starting to come to the fore, Dax (I'm a fan too) was great and showed a little more about the characters - one of the ironies is that the non-contract players seem to get more personal development then the regulars. Monica's being Chief of Staff came into play, as did John's work and the various missing children. All in all while it was certainly not the usual behaviour for Spixie, it kept the stories moving forward and gave the viewers a nice glimpse at the families celebrating together.
  17. Today's Recaps (Christmas Episode, Tuesday, December 23rd) Serious jip - no Tracy looking at Luke. STATS Vets: Monica, Edward, Tracy, Luke, Anna, Robert, Alan Kisses: nada Appearance: in bathrobe, still with Jane Jetson's hair - I think this is the new style, and she can flip it a little Other Stories: Lulu, Lucky and Nicholas are at the Spencers ordering pizza (Liz took the boys out of town and Mike is taking Spencer to the Xmas party at the hospital); Spinelli encounters Santa at the PH with technological problems - Santa erased the Christmas list for most of Port Charles and want's Spin to find out what everyone wants by midnight.; Q's don't want to celebrate; Diane and Max together saw Santa and reindeer flying away; Robin is majorly stressed and feels Patrick isn't helping because the tree is half done and her parents will be there soon; Diane talking about Max to Bernie while Bernie is lighting the Menorah and tries to tell her what Channukah is supposed to mean; Anna and Robert arrive to celebrate Christmas Eve in Robin's apartment, then Spin and Maxie arrive to give their gift to the Scorpio/Drakes - cookies like Philomena used to make; Spixie help Max who just wants to celebrate Christmas (with the woman he loves) and gives him a pawn tug meanwhile Diane breaks down in front of Bernie because she misses Max. Spixie arrive and gives Diane a phone to speak with Max and then she's on her way to see him, hugs from Diane all around; Spixie deliovers the gift of matches to Bernie so he can light his candles while Diane runs to Max on the docks and they kiss... Line of the Day: "Maximista and the Jingle Jackle" Sc. 1 - no Luke; Tracy wonders why Monica isn't going to the hospital party and tells them that she's not going either, all the Q's are in a very un-Christmas funk even though Alice is trying to cheer them up with a tree and eggnog. Sc. 2 - no Tracy; Luke arrives with pizza for the three Spencer kids and a tree that he claims fell off the flatbed and rolled off the truck and right up their drive. Lucky doesn't hide his grin well while Nicholas brings in the tree. He almost falls under it and asks why he's doing it all alone - because you're the oldest his lovely little brother and sister reply. Spin and Maxie arrive with Christmas wishes and wanting to know what everyone wants for Christmas. We hear Santa's bells and Spin pulls an old fashioned key out of his pocket for Lulu (Spin is wearing Santa's coat). Sc. 3 - no Tracy; Lulu takes the key, and Maxie sends Spin out. The boys go to get the tree and Luke says he hates Christmas. Lulu asks on principle or because he misses Mom. Luke smiles at her and says both, he guesses. Sc. 4 - Screamers want Luke to help decorate the Christmas tree and Luke tells them about the first Christmas Luke spent with Laura in Texas. Meanwhile Edward talks about Lila and the Christmas tree, saying Lila and Emily were the heart and soul of this family and Tracy says why bother. Alice tries to get them to tell her what they want for dinner and they all brush her off. Then she goes to Tracy and says perhaps they should have what Mr. Luke would want if Tracy hadn't kicked him out on Christmas Eve. Tracy says it doesn't matter what Mr. Puke would want, he isn't Tiny Tim and if he wants a crutch he can go to any bar in town. Alan shows up and gives Tracy a hard time, and Monica is really insulted that Tracy would talk to Alan right then. Tracy says she's not sure what's more annoying - the way they fought when Alan was alive or the way Monica moons over him now that he's dead. Then she turns to Alan and tells him to leave. Alan says not until she tells Monica he loves her. Tracy says to tell her himeslf. Just then Maxie and Spin arrive with a gift for the Q's - eyeglasses. Sc. 5 - The Spencers looking for Laura's angel while Luke continues to eat pizza. Lulu uses the key Spin gave her to open a chest and finds the angel. The phone rings and it's a Christmas call from Laura. Meanwhile Spin has a gift of glasses but doesn't know who it's for. Tracy and Edward leave saying the hospital Christmas party would be better. Monica says she's happy they left now Spin/Maxie can leave too. Alan says it's a big mistake to ignore the glasses. He thinks those glasses were thrown in one of their fights when he said she only sees what she wants to see. Monica picks them up and puts them on then turns around and sees Alan. Sc. 6 - no LuNacy; Monica approaches Alan who's amazed that she can see/hear him. Alan takes the glasses off and she can still see him, but asks how. Alan says you don't ask how at Christmas. Mon says if she had to have one Xmas miracle he's it, and tells her to go on with her life because she's got so many things to live for. They get into a bickering fight about who cheated on whom more, and finally Alan pulls Monica into a hug. Sc. 7 - no Tracy; Monica and Alan continue to bicker about the hospital administration. Alan says he cheated on her in his own house. MY House, Monica says. I gave it to you, Alan replies. Then he snaps his fingers and the lights on the tree turn on and they hug in front of the tree. Bernie says the blessing over the candles in the Menorah, Scorpio/Drakes holding Emma by the tree, Spencers decorate the tree and Luke says "Merry Christmas, darlin" to Laura over the phone, Spixie returns to Santa who tells him the real reason he's there - to tell him it takes a special person to see into another's heart; Spin and Maxie awaken to find gifts by their beds that contain their pictures with Santa. Then they wish Merry Christmas to everyone.
  18. That couple is called ClauSon or ClawSon, and I really like them too. Actually Laine, they are being patterned after LuNacy.... "the couple that shouldn't be together for all sorts of reason, but discovers they work better than with anyone else". At least that was what an insider said a month or so ago. As to the LuNacy ommission, yeah, I wasn't amused either. But I'm not sure if this was actually teasing something legit or sending the JaSam/Liason/LnL2/LuSam fans around the bend again. Remember that Fall of Romance spoiler that came out and nobody got nuthin.
  19. Todays Recaps, Abbreviated (Monday, December 22nd) Vets: Luke, Robert, Anna, Mac Stories: Robin asks Robert to walk her down the aisle and he says no; Sam continues her dream/hallucinations including stopping Maureen from taking Jake the first time; Sonny visits with Morgan and Carly suggests he see Morgan more often as long as he promises to keep him safe; Jason/Spin rescue Sam; Clic on Sonny's couch doing the dirty; Kate invited Jax to spend Christmas with her; Scorpio meal is really cute -- Mac asks Patrick why he's quiet amoung all these Scorpios and Patrick says he knows better; CarJax passionately kiss under the Mistletoe at Morgan's suggestion; ClawSon toast to their first Christmas together Luke is on the dock talking to someone on the phone with connections to Cuba, who is complaining about Bruscitis. There is no indication that his 'scam' is anything more than buying cigars. He finds Sasha's body and goes to have a closer look when Robert happens upon Luke and makes some snide comment that Luke has really done it now. Grin on Robbie's face, surprise on Lukey's. Luke is amazed he's there and wants to celebrate Robert being in remission. He cops to the cigars and Robert says he gave up certain things as part of remission, and given Luke's heart issues he should be giving things up too. Luke says near death taught him to live life to the fullest and he's not giving up what he enjoys. Robert says one thing he hasn't give up is drinking and he can still drink Luke under the table. Luke says prove it, and they make plans. Luke and Robert are just talking as cops come upon them and tell them 'freeze'. The cops don't know who Luke and Robert are, and arrest them (complete with handcuffs). Mac comes upon the sceen just as the police are about to take the pair downtown and tells the officers to release them. Luke and Robert comment on Mac's timing being perfect for a change. Once the cops are gone Mac says he would punch Robert if he wasn't so happy to see him, and then pulls Robert into a bear hug. Luke and Robert say they aren't responsible, and Mac says he doesn't suspect them. Robert tells him how to do his job and Mac isn't amused. Mac tells them about catching someone with Bruscitis in the line of the free clinic with 6 crates of Cubans, and Luke quickly excuses himself to run off. BTW, Mac tells Robert he either walks Robin down the aisle or he'll be spending Christmas in lock-up..... so much for 'convincing Robert to do the job'. Spoilers are so misleading.
  20. Hey everyone.... well Environment Canada has announced that this is the first year since 1971 where all of Canada (and we're huge) will have a white Christmas. Even Vancouver - which is usually the green spot - is covered by snow, and we're not talking a skiff. 90,000 without power in Nova Scotia alone. Canadian shouldn't plan to travel at this time of year. Anyway, c'est la vie! Spoilers are slow, but I found this one... The hospital crisis will carry over into February. Ric, Nadine, Lulu, Spinelli, Monica, are some of the patients. And there will be casualities. Nadine and Monica are critical patients. Robin will be treating Ric with an experimental trial drug, that takes a turn for the worst. The medical cases will be different for the different patients because the drugs coming into the hospital are still being tampered with. I hope nothing really bad happens to Monica, but you know the rumours of LC leaving will be wild. And remember we're already been told that Tracy's life is in danger but not medically. Since this is in the hospital, I wonder if she'll be at the mercy of the Mercenaries (assuming that drop was correct) because she's got a position of authority, and that's where Luke will have to save her
  21. Evening all.... this has been a crazy day. Our van's transmission went yesterday, so we have officially made the decision to live life without a motor vehicle. In a metro area it shouldn't be too hard after a period of adjustment. I have to remind myself that from the time screamer #2 was 6 months old until screamer #3 was born and 10 months old, we didn't have a vehicle. It was actually fairly easy to get to church this morning on transit - once I pulled the littlest of our a snowbank or 5. BTW, we area bout 30 inches I think - and this is storm 2 of 4. Glad I don't travel this time of year. It seems pretty quiet on the TQ front, but this popped up as a spoiler for the first few weeks of January: Someone is watching Luke and Tracy. All the other spoiler were about Sam, Lulu, Jason, Carly and Sonny, so they're quite possibly real.
  22. Morning all. You can keep your palm trees and sandy beaches, at this time of year I want dazzling snow, twinkling lights, cherry-cheeked children and wistful carols playing in the background. It's beautiful. We're off shortly to church so the kids can rehearse for the Christmas pageant, but before I go, this popped up on the IL.... On New Years eve: Luke closes The Haunted Star early so he can be alone with Tracy.
  23. I just shoveled out the van and brought it around to the parking lot. The temperature is about -10 to -15 now that the wind has died down (I have no idea what that would be, all I know is that by -40 we are equal). My flip flops are packed away for the foreseeable future. BUT we have a white Christmas!!!
  24. 5 cm is 2 1/2 inches. After that I need a calculator. It's somewhere between there and 40 inches. It's a hell of a lot of snow, that's all I know.
  25. Tracy World.... no, but I keep looking. My world - we got 10-20 cm depending on the drifts, but it's not as cold or windy as it was. The forecast for us is one storm every other day until Christmas (you getting this too, Lady A?). Now they're saying we could have 80 cm by the end of December. I tap out my enthusiasm at 40 cm, so we shall see.
