A mystery person listened to a tape recording of Kim singing. Kim learned that the man (Dr. Strauss) killed in the hit-and-run accident wasn't her secret admirer.

John Loprieno played Danny Walton from May 1985 to April 1986. It was mentioned he moved back to his family.
He began in mid-May as Cord on OLTL, exactly 4 weeks later.

Sad to hear. Thought the Lee/Sunny/Cissy storyline must have been really interesting. Wish I could see it.

Roya Megnot took over in early October 1984. Here what I found in a review:
"When « Loving » began it’s new time period last week, actress Patty Lotz had been replaced by newcomer Roya Megnot in the role of Ava Rescott. This falls into one of those categories of “who cares?” They seem pretty indistinguishable to the viewer, and one is just as good (or just as bad) as the other.
On the other hand, one the more interesting young female characters seen on soaps recently is former Galahad Club member Gina Daniels played by Annabelle Gurwich on “Guiding Light.” Both actress and character have made such a strong impression on “GL” viewers that, although she’s not a contract player, she will be seen frequently in the coming months. Of her popularity continues, she will undoubtedly be offered a contract."

I love the HW thing but keeping a coherent list is driving me crazy

Thanks dc11786. I love your information. My sources are usually Jon-Michael Reed columns but you must be right about Morgenroth & Kantor taking over Lemay. That's what I thought too but someone posted that Levin was new HW in Jan. 82 according to SOD so I was confused and changed my list.
I'm quite sure Levin was hired in June 1981 but you are probably right: with the strike, her material was probably aired later the fall but I don't have any information about it.

I keep wondering in Levin was still part of the writing team but only promoted to HW as an interim gig after Barlon & Scott and Lemay.
I have no idea why Lemay left so quickly.

From what I know after Marland left:
Mel & Ethel Brez (Dec. 77 - May 78)
Linda Grover (May 78 - Sept. 78)
Elizabeth Levin & David Cherrill (Sept. 78 - Sept. 80)
Ralph Ellis & Eugenie Hunt (Sept. 80 - Jan. 81)
Lawrence & Ronnie Wencker-Konner (Jan. 81 - May 81)
Aaron Scott & Anne-Marie Barlow (May 81 - July 81)
Elizabeth Levin (July 81 - Dec. 81)
Harding Lemay (Dec. 81 - Feb. 82)
Elizabeth Levin (Feb. 82 - June 82)
Barbara Morgenroth & Leonard Kantor (June 82 - Dec. 82)
0 -
Harding Lemay only took over for two months from Dec. 1981 to Feb. 1982 when Elizabeth Levin (whom he had taken the reigns over) came back before being replaced by Barbara Morgenroth & Leonard Kantor in June 1982.

No Nancy and Chris as this is the cast photo from 1983-1984. Helen Wagner left the show between 1981 and 1985.
