  1. Oh damn, Annie is just so amazing. I haven't watched the show in awhile, so hearing her sarcastic comments and jokes if a breath of fresh air.

I don't think that there is a Kansas-related insult Annie didn't use while describing Meg. She's just amazing, just like her aunt Bette.

    Annie

  2. Annie found love with Jude, played by Sean Kanan. I still remember them doing it to Santana's "Smooth" before the song became popular. But Meh. It should have been Tim & Annie together in the end. Why SUN never went there I'll never understand (best chemistry ever). They even would have had a great couple name- Tannie! (please no Sarah Buxton jokes)

Yes, definitely! There was always that attraction, especially in the beginning when Tim kept resisting Annie because of his St. Meg.

  3. Well, ever since I got a chance to watch the show from the very beginning, I have to admit I've been abusing the chance to just do the episode counts - meaning that I haven't watched so much of the show and instead just focused on doing the episode counts. I've pretty much fast-forwarded to around episode 120 because I've watched the first 120 episodes multiple times and I knew everything that was going on.

It was great fun to revisit the first storylines - the unsuccessful Rae/Casey pairing, Del's murder mystery, Paula getting kidnapped, Cole revealed as Elaine's son, and multiple similar storyline... and I've got to admit that after episode 100 is where it becomes more interesting. Just to make a note - Ashley Hamilton was horrible as Cole, not just because Cibrian owns the role, but because Hamilton didn't seem to know how to act at all. Plus, this new Tiffany Thorne is all kinds of horrible (and Adrienne Frantz was SO playing Amber even before she joined B&B).

The best part of the show was the reveal of Del's killer, Annie getting cremated, Caitlin and Cole escaping from Sunset Beach - and pretty much anything connected to Bette!

Now I'm around episode 120, as I've said, and this is where my FF session will stop for awhile and I'll get to enjoy more of the stuff ... this is also the time when the theme song will change, and I absolutely loved the second theme song. Of course, I might just continue FFing later if I find something boring.

And, the part that I'm looking forward the most is the Terror Island storyline which is where I stopped watching the show because my country didn't buy new episodes, and then pretty much the entire 1998 and 1999.

  4. I don't think she ever had a real career to begin with. But damn, that's horrible.

But not to get OT - I'm currently in the middle of season two and I like the show. I'll stick with it until the end of season five and then decide if it is worth losing my nerves to watch the remaining two seasons. But I still have a long way to go until then - all seasons are just soooo long. :)

  5. She's probably gone. They would've done something with her by now.

I don't miss her. They ruined the character - and it seems that the producers never had a long term plan, but just used her as a temporary obstacle for Will and Emma.

  6. I mean, so many plot holes already.... Where is Quinn living? Is she keeping her baby or still thinking about adoption? The random swapping of couples is already tired. The supporting players are like walking stereotypes with little no depth. Sue is slowly taking over the show (much like Miss Glass on popular) and lea Michelle is on WAY too much. Honestly, the show plays out like a fanfic gone wrong.

But again, im ok with that, for the most part, because i dont expect greatness. I expect a cheesy OTT show. It just bugs me when i read people praise how well written it is and how diverse it is. Sure, its diverse cast. Too bad that cast is stuck playing one note stereotypes in minor/supporting roles.

I think I remember her saying that she's staying at Puck's, and she's still thinking about adoption since Will told her that she'll make some family really happy.

The show feels the same way to me - just some fun with a little singing and a storyline thrown inside. It's not a show I'll spend time thinking about.

  7. It's true, the show has been less intriguing since it returned for the other half of the season.

I wonder if they'll just completely drop Jessalyn Gilsig. She only had one appearance since winter. It's a shame since she does know how to act; she just got stuck in quite a bad role. Meanwhile, Jayma Mays is just great.

I don't hate Lea Michele as much as some fans do; I actually like her the way she is. I'm having a little trouble liking Finn though. Quinn, Santana and Brittany are all great, and Sue is always fun - I just hope they don't overdo her character. And yes, Jonathan Groff needs to cut his hair.

  8. WHAT! Sammi Jo rocks. Hands down one of the best characters on Dynasty. Enjoy her now while she's bad and fun bc she eventually goes soft and gets redeemed. She mad the perfect little gold digging biyatch in the beginning

I guess I'm not at that point yet. She only just came to the show and Steven rode a car for her; that's pretty much it. I still have more than half of the season to go through. But I'm enjoying it.

  9. I'm currently in the middle of season two, first time watching. I believe Krystle just lost her baby.

My thoughts for now: Corley is doing great as Steven, I'm afraid of the recast even though it's inevitable. Collins really adds something to the show, but its still the very beginning of her run. I am very happy that Matthew, Lindsay, Michael and Walter were written out of the show. I do like Claudia to some extent, but at the moment they don't seem to know what to do with her. And oh yeah- I don't like Sammy Jo one bit.

  10. Relax Take it Easy is about the only song I liked (for a while) from the too whimsical/precious by half, Mika. <_<

Yeah, it's his best song IMO. He may have like one or two other good songs, but the rest isn't worth listening to.

I actually like La Rocca but didn't know they were still around!

    Yep, 8 years together.

  11. Gosh, the soaps currently on the air could afford to do what SuBe did, take a few weeks off to get their [!@#$%^&*] together. I had forgotten how they did that and just recapped in the meantime. I agree that the opening could have been left untouched. And why did Sherri Saum have the final shot, at least give it to Aunt Bette or Annie.

I liked the original theme, but when the new one premiered I immediately fell in love with it. It was just... better.

  12. This is a band I've loved ever since I first found out about them... La Rocca. I went so far as to learning every single song from their album The Truth, and their newest one, Ok Okay is also quite good, maybe even an improvement. My favorite from the newest album, Roadway Hymn:

Recently I've discovered Relax, Take It Easy and I haven't been able to get it out of my mind. Also, it was the first time I've heard of Mika.

  13. "Ecstatic" by Vonda Shepard

Just bought her "new" (well - it's 12 months old now, I guess, but legally purchasing one recording album per year is the highest standard I can put myself up to these days LOL!) "From the Sun" album which is so-so but the this song along "Downtown/Dirty Town" is great.

I was never able to get into her albums, but the songs from ANY Ally McBeal soundtrack were almost always great, IMO.
