  1. Just finished season 1, and yeah, Stephanie Beacham was pretty much the best thing about it. Jason I can't stand because he just seems so boring and confused all the time; same with Frankie. Jeff and Fallon are okay, but Maxwell Caulfield as Miles is laughable (not even that body can save him :D).

Also, Connie was a bright spot. Everything else was okay, but nothing special really. I found it hard to care for Monica or Bliss' storylines. I also find Zach Powers very unappealing.

  2. Laura Leighton?

Wasnt the show going to be cancelled until Locklear sign on for Season 2?

Sure, but Laura Leighton had only two appearances in Season 1, and came back in Season 2, so she could be just as important as Locklear.

  3. Just recently finished with Season 6. The beginning was a bit weird, with the entire Colbys crossovers and then finally concluding the Michael/Galen stuff along with Rita/Joel. The remaining parts of the season were actually quite good (pretty much since that episode where Alexis attempts to seduce Blake again).

I feel sad for Claudia, I always liked her, but there really wasn't anything they could do with her.

Now onto the first season of The Colbys.

  4. Just finished with Season 5. Didn't really feel the whole Blake/Ashley/Krystle/Daniel thing that ran over the season, thankfully it's all over and done with. I do like how they nicely tied in Daniel's death with Sammy Jo inheriting everything and basically finally coming back. Not sure what to think of Rita yet.

Alexis was interesting as always, as was the thing between Amanda and Dex. Michael is not really all that interesting. The Steven/Claudia/Adam/Luke stuff was also decent, but nothing overly interesting.

Dominique was very entertaining, and I'm looking forward to seeing Fallon next season (even if for a short run before she's off to The Colbys).

  5. Savor it bc its the LAST great season. Melrose is almost unrecognizable in season 6 with all the season 5 departure and they sure cleaned house

I am aware of that since I did watch S6/7 occasionally back when it aired at my local TV station.

Still, I will give it a try once I actually find those episodes, lol.

  6. Um, the change is definitely in the air. The first three episodes of this season might not have been that good, but still miles better than any of Season 2. There is just this different type of feel to it (sadly, still with some things that won't really ever change).

  7. The show is in deep trouble. Since season one was obviously more bearable than the second one, they're probably trying to go back to what season one was.

I am still not sure if I should even try season three because season two was quite bad.

  8. I've just started Season 4, and it has been pretty go so far.

The revelation that Joseph was the one behind Alexis' attack was a good one, it might have been better if I didn't know of it already. I hate how many surprises were ruined by spoilers and my own curiosity.

Kirby has been moody all the way through the season (I'm on episode 13 now) which I don't really care for; but I like how Jeff is standing up for whatever he feels is right. I love that Adam has been put in this place.

The introduction of new characters was decent enough... A 2/3 score, I'd say. Tracy seems very intriguing, and Deborah is a stunning actress; Dex also seems to be quite a good character. However, Peter is just disgusting in every sense of the word. I can barely go through a scene with that man.

Also, I'm kinda on the fence as to what I want Fallon to be. I want Fallon to be the same one in season one that was sleeping around with the chauffeur, yet I like how she has personally grown up now that she and Jeff shared that one night together. It was hilarious when earlier in this season Fallon saw the stable boy Tony shirtless on a horse and told him to put a shirt on... She soooooo should would have done a different thing if it were the earlier years.

Oh and yeah... I'm happy Claudia is back.

  9. I'm still watching regularly, probably because of the music (seeing what they do right and what they f**k up), but I'm having a tough time because all the storylines are just so annoying. They make up stuff as they go along, there's no real big plan.

I know I may be annoying with this - but what the hell is going on with Jessalyn Gilsig? Murphy, cut her loose if you don't intend to use her. She's been a regular all this time and only appeared in a little over 15 episodes. (and most of that was the first part of season one  )
