Here is the SD post if anyone is interested. I was told by another insider just now to make one last push/calls/write in this week for JE....flood Frons' office with calls/letters saying you heard she will be let go or put on recurring....I would think calls would be best...For what it is worth... Insider Any news on Tracy? Has JE really been let go or put on recurring? If Tony is leaving, are they planning ot bring Genie back or will they write Jane/Tony out together? Is it true they plan to bring some Qs back like one of Tracy's sons but not keep her around? this was info someone dropped yesterday. Thanks. I have been so bummed about this. I know of no one coming back to GH in the form of Tracy's sons. Tony is most likely leaving. Unfortunately, this plays into whether JE stays on or not. It is my undertstanding that she has no desire to stay on if TG leaves. However, she will be asked to go recurring regardless. Another tidbit, MB has not officially signed on yet. Is it that he hasn't re-signed or is it that it's not official yet? It's not on the dotted line yet.

Happy birthday Ms. Q!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope it is a great one! You deserve it! There was another insider on this morning that said TG is likely to leave and that unfortunately JE is tied in with him. This particular insider said she has no real desire to stay if TG leaves, but she will be offered recurring regardless. At this point, if they write them out together TG/JE I will be happy and can give up this crazy addiction for good! I know JE has said supposedly that she wouldn't take recurring in the past, but who knows now with the economy, the state of soaps and her BFF losing her job totally. Guess we will have to wait and see. Odd that they say JI and LC are safe from this round of cuts. I'll keep you posted! Meanwhile these spoilers were dropped.. From SOD I Think.. On Monday, Dec 15, Jason is offered the deal of a lifetime, Sonny and Claudia get to know each other better, and Lucky reaches the end of his rope with Sam. On Tuesday, Dec. 16, Claudia tells Jason it's too late to make peace with Sonny and Tracy refuses to fall for Luke's latest stunt. AG says "Luke is determined to convince her that while Laura was his past, she is his future." Lots of drops today on the dish about budget meetings and that TG, JE and RiH are all leaving in the next few months. Then they said she will be asked to go recurring and saying yes is suspect. Then someone else said that four actors were told they would be dropped to recurring. Then there were drops that WK and SC or NL might be returing and that JI, LC and JJY were safe. I don't know what to believe, but I do know there are budget meetings going on now. Trying to get some confirmations either way. I know at least part of that drop was wrong. Start calling!!

Some spoilers (looks like Tracy is probably not on the week of the 8th) *pops in* quick drop I can confirm these Tracy doesn't believe Luke's I love yous. Olivia is stabbed; she asks Patrick to take her to Sonny. Sonny surprises Claudia with a kiss. Sonny catches Ric and Claudia dancing in the sheets. Sonny tells Ric and Claudia to keep their sex on the down low. Claudia is upset after getting a message from Jerry. Mac tells Maxie she shouldn't date Spin; Maxie moves out. Maxie and Lulu become roommates ... and Johnny makes three. play nice FoJMMF Hi FoJMMF--Are these for this week or the week of the 8th? TIA Tracy stuff and Claudia/Jerry is for 12/13 other stuff should play out between now and then have fun FoJMMF Also some insider was posting stuff about budget cuts and the production and writing staff maybe being gone (yeah right) I asked about will they fire all the vets..this was the answer (GOS) Will they fire all the vets? No the plan is to feature them a little more. But it is likely Tony Geary will be leaving when his contract ends. What will happen to Jane? Will they keep her around if Tony leaves? Jane will be staying and will play a more prominent role and the fan faves returning to the show are Quartermaines I so hope that is true. Dead Qs or live ones returning? Any hope for one of Tracy's kids or a long lost Q? One character returning and one potentially back from the beyong provided contracts can be solidified. If not a recast may occur.

Hey guys...Tracy was not on today, but apparently Luke was and had two scenes with NIk about Tracy I think...here is a parital recap Back to Nik/Luke. Nik says he can be a sounding board to Luke after Luke helped him out last year after Emily died. They are talking about their convo from last year. Nik says I am not here to disrespect your marriage to Tracy or be a cheerleader for my mother. All I have heard is that Luke and Laura had the greatest love ever -- how could you let her go back. He says I am married to Tracy and no matter what I just can't drop Tracy whenever Laura comes back. He tells Nik about the convo Tracy overheard about Luke saying he would go to Paris (to help Laura get settled). He says I have hurt Tracy repeatedly by making her second to Laura. I won't do that anymore, but she doesn't trust me anymore.

from soapzone for this week (we knew these already) Edward, Monica and Alice can’t stand a Luke-less Tracy any longer. They beg Luke to come back and tame Tracy again. Tracy blows up at Edward, Monica and Alice’s shenanigans. Tracy makes travel plans to the Dominican Republic to make her divorce to Luke official and legal and fast. Luke chases Tracy to the Dominican Republic and busts out all his moves to win her back. Doens't seem like they are on the week of the 8th at all so far.

From "that insider" who knows things months in advance on the dish--they were giving outline info Do the plans for winter/spring sweeps include an exit storyline for Luke? Is Genie in those plans at all or Kin to come back? TIAThere is an exit storyline for Luke in every outline Guza submits. Usually it just leads to another vacation. Genie is not in any spring outlines, nor was she in the original outlines for the fall even though, of course, she was there. When they decide to bring her back, we get an update(which is actually a rewrite) . I explained how some of this worked last night but what will happen is that Guza will submit a 25-30 page document detailing a storyline not originally planned. That happened with both of Genie's returns this past fall. Thank you. So have you heard anything at all if he is gone for good this time or is that still be negotiated? Anything for Tracy in any of the outlines for spring or is she just an appendix to whatever story Luke has going on? Thanks. She's in Luke's story. I'm very uncomfotable with giving a lot of specific storyline info. I will say that if the show plays according to the outlines, Monica will have more airtime this spring. There'll be an increased emphasis on the hospital and she's part of that. Of course, this was the plan before the mandatory budget reductions came down so I don't know if that will have any effect or not.

No nothing for week of the 8th yet. I'm working on it! I know the week of the 15th at least one day--they are on the 16th I believe at least.

From soaps.com for next week.. Plus this.. Don't worry Quartermaine fans, John Ingle (Edward Quartermaine) is just fine. He recently had a small section of sun-damaged skin on his scalp treated and needs to keep it covered for a few weeks. Apparently Ingle joked to General Hospital producers about a myriad of other ways the wardrobe department could cover his bandages, but the cap was how they ultimately solved the dilemna. It's called a 'touring cap' and now Ingle is the proud owner five different colored versions. This certainly explains Edward's cap, right? Remember when he and Monica arrived at Robin and Patrick's wedding and Monica explained to Mac that the cap was doctor's orders (and that Edward wouldn't normally dream of wearing a cap into a church). It was an odd piece of dialogue that had us all guessing (and hoping that everything was alright)! Soaps.com wishes John a speedy recovery, but hopes the cap sticks around a while. It's hot! Here are the dates for next week:] Tuesday December 2: Ric steers clear of Claudia's advances. Luke learns that Tracy is done with him.' Kate vows to make Sonny pay for crushing her heart. Wednesday December 3: Jason and Sam get closer to finding Jake. Patrick's natural fathering ability frustrates Robin. Luke sets his sights on winning Tracy back. Thursday December 4: Nikolas tells Nadine something surprising. Sonny's mobsters abilities impress his new bride. Tracy and Luke's marriage is the stakes of a card game. My best guess is that Tracy wins the card game (luke always loses at cards lately). Tracy then "wins" the divorce. We cut to the following week with him thinking they are divorced...but her not really having gone through with it. Perhaps he offers to remarry her...she let's him go so far with it, til Alan makes her trip up and spill that she didn't really divorce him--Just my thoughts on it...

Here is my timeframe...this week Qs with Tracy on Tuesday getting luke to move back in--Tracy/Luke DR the rest of the time, getting stuck in the storm, card game that their marraige hinges on... Not sure of anything for the week of the 8th if they are even on as of this point Week of the 15th--I think this is when we find out Tracy didn't really divorce luke but let him think she did...alan outs her to luke... Somewhere maybe in the middle is luke wanting to renew the vows--I am guessing that she lets him and goes along with it perhaps to see how serious he is...then alan outs her somehow.. Ms. Q--The rest of those drops were what I have heard was happening so I tend ot believe it--willl it be serious or wacky--that remains to be seen. We have also seen plot points that they reunite and are together for xmas. Then also Robert comes on screen on the 18th and they are supposed to have a little arc before the scrubs wedding (robert/luke) so that is all in the next few weeks too. They are taping 4.5 weeks out now and have pretty much taped through the week between xmas and new years so far. So I would believe that these shorter terms spoilers are pretty much right. Kate is supposed to have this party the week before xmas where carly announces she owns the mag now...and those were in the group with the lunacy ones. I think pretty much til the end of 08 is in the can now. But we shall see....at least it is a good problem--should we believe the spoilers instead of the huge lack of spoilers for months this summer!

GH: Geary's Contract Status Unknown... Anthony Geary celebrated the 30th anniversary of his first day at GH on November 3rd, but with his contract up in January, talks have yet to begin, the actor tells Digest. "No, I haven't been spoken to yet, so I have nothing to report," he discloses. The actor, who frequently travels to his other home in Amsterda,. says "For now, it's the ideal situation, where I have so much time off and I still get to come back here to a job I enjoy. I think it would be kind of crazy to kill the cow while she still has more milk. It may get a litte curdl-y sometimes, but tehre's still milk (laughs)." Geary indicates that his decision will be based on what stories are left to tell, and though the actor was thrilled to recently work again with long-time c-star Genie Francis (laura), he's glad the writers didn't go for an easy reunion. "I think a lot of fans would like to keep luke and laura frozen in history," he theorizes. "But you can't do that. Genie has come and gone from the show several times and every time she goes, Luke's stuck in limbo--until we found this wonderful relationship with Tracy, which I think is terrific, mature and interesting. The truth is, Luke and Laura are a very difficult couple to write for because wer're not 20 anymore and the history of the characters, both separately and together, is so varied and complex. That limits them in a strange way. In separting them, there's more to each character. We've been hyphenated for so long--Genie would feel this, too--that de-hyphenating them is a much more interesting way to go forward." Which is what Francis is hoping: When asked about when here next return might be, the actress speculates, "I know Tony's contract is up for grabs, so I suppose a lot of that will depend on whether or not they can keep him. I certainly do think there's lots to do there, considering the history: He's married to Tracy, Scott and Tracy having a past, it's ripe to do a story with these characters in the present. We'll see" Geary is optimistic about sticking around. "I've literally spent half my life as Luke Spencer. I gave up all plans for the future in (the early 90s) when I came back to the show. I said, "let's see where it goes." I love to have a job. I love to work. I love the character, still. I dont' find him depleted or finished. I still find him inspiring."
