Have you gotten to the part where Matt defends Althea to the board against morals charges because of the out of wedlock baby with Nick? James Pritchett delivers a masterclass with is monologue that I'm certain would've garnered an Emmy nom if the Daytime Emmys had existed at that time.

Noon was always Sunset Beach's official broadcast time, but NBC was big at the time about allowing affiliates to air their daytime lineup whenever they wanted to. Where I lived at the time received 2 different NBC affiliates & while one (Louisville) aired DAYS & AW at the official 1pm/2pm, they aired SuBe at 11am. The other (Lexington) aired AW at 10am, DAYS at 11am, & SuBe at 1pm. The Louisville CBS affiliate also aired Y&R at 4pm & the Lexington CBS's affiliate aired Y&R at 9am (a day behind), which it had done since the 70s.

I suggest carrying further discussion about The Young Marrieds (and it's connection to GH) to the TYM thread so that we can keep this Another World thread on topic.

Elizabeth Webber's house is in Queen's Point, it was mentioned recently.
Maybe that's who I'm thinking of. I knew someone lived there and always thought it was Patrick & Robin.

I always recommend Network to anyone, especially anyone with any interested in entertainment, broadcasting, or TV. The first time I saw it, my mind was blown. It's shocking how this film released in 1976 almost predicts the future of television in many ways & is very applicable to many things we see today.

Queen's Point. If I'm not mistaken, Patrick & Robin's home was said to be in Queen's Point. I often laugh that in an episode of TYM on YouTube, there's a beachside snack shack type place and palm trees in the background which, today, is funny since Port Charles is set in upstate New York with nary a palm tree in sight. I'm guessing that originally, GH's local was considered to be West Coast until it was changed in the mid 1970s to Port Charles.

The Young Marrieds was a sister show to GH said to be set in a suburb of the the (then) unnamed city of GH. Several characters on TYM worked at GH & characters on GH were mentioned on TYM. The TYM IMDB page has episode by episode synopses for the series that are a very interesting read.
