  1. ^ Love that song Kenny, and I find him a little hot in a weird way lol

A little hot in a weird way? I find him alot hot in a totally normal way! LoL With the eyeliner, he's like a chubbier Brandon Flowers, who I'm head over heels for.

I love how he pauses to take a breath the first time he says "ocean" in the video. So hot! LoL

  2. Everclear - Wonderful

I heard this song on the radio today for the first time in forever. Reminds me so much of when my parents divorced when I was a kid, and I was caught in the middle.

My parents divorced when I was 6 or 7. My parents fought alot, and my mother ended up having an affair with my dad's best friend. When I found out, I felt as though she chose a new life and didn't care about me anymore. Of course, that wasn't true... but to a little kid, what else can you think?

Anyway, my parents went through a nasty divorce and a nasty custody battle. My mom re-married, and my dad started dating my mom's best friend (apparently, to get back at my mom) and then he married her. I ended up living with my dad and stepmom -- not exactly the most mentally healthy living environment. They treated me and my sisters like [!@#$%^&*], and my stepbrothers were vile, pathetic excuses for human beings. They constantly told me and my sisters how our mother didn't love us, called her a whore on a regular basis... I hated it. I remember just constantly praying that one day I would wake up and my parents would be back together, we could be a happy family and everything could be normal again... just like all the other kids in school.

Now that I'm older, I'm able to look back on it and actually be thankful for going through it. It gave me a thicker skin, it made me and my sisters incredibly close (they're my rocks) and it certainly gave me life experience. I recently called my father up and had a heart-to-heart with him about the things he and my stepmother did when I was a kid, and it was very therapeutic -- so many things I needed to say. I also had a heart-to-heart with my mom, in which I forgave her for the affair and let her know that she means more to me than anyone imaginable. The day you realize that your parents are humans too, it's amazing what kind of peace you can make by finding the common bond of imperfection.

Anyway, hearing the song I posted above just brought back all these feelings...

  3. Fred Durst - Melt With You

Interesting, to say the least. Is he not cute in this video?! Definitely raises my gaydar a bit, though... especially combined with his "touch my balls and ass" comment in his sex vid. Fred, you ain't foolin' nobody! I love his funky dancing.

  4. "The Pursuit of Happyness"

Not bad. A little long, but I suppose everything that happened was important and pertinent to the story. Most touching scene was Will Smith and his son sleeping on a pile of toilet paper on the floor of a public restroom, when they're homeless. The tear that trickles down Will's face when somebody is banging on the door to get in... SO sad. Great acting.

  5. This isn't a movie that I'm watching for the first time, but I just got through watching "The Witches" with Anjelica Huston. What a creepy movie!

I love the beginning where that little girl is walking in the alley to get some milk and the witch kidnaps her and traps her inside that picture, where she grows old and dies. That's the creepiest part of the movie, before it gets all hokey with the Formula Eighty-Six and such, although I still find the movie enjoyable all the way through. I also love the scene where Anjelica's character, the "Grand High Witch" pushes that baby stroller down the hill at the mother goes screaming, trying to catch her. And my other favorite scene is when Luke is in his treehouse and the witch (played by a man, I believe) tries to lure him down by offering him a big bar of chocolate.

Anyone seen it? I know that Marland has.
