  1. Did you catch the credits showing Leslie Denniston as Gwyn Alden? I never knew she had played the role.
  2. Nigel Reed played Tim Werner at that time. I don't recall him having much of a storyline at all. He was written out around December 1982, which is when Guiding Light added an aged Rick and Phillip to the show. Another teenage character, Clay Tynan, played by Giancarlo Esposito, was introduced at that time but was gone within six months.
  3. And with Harley Kozak in the Folgers ad!
  4. Thanks for alerting us that he's still alive. I remember either The Sentinel (a weekly rag) or The Home News (a daily rag) announcing he had been killed in a car accident while still a teen. So glad he's still alive.
  5. Jarrod Ross was the actor who played Phillip in those scenes. I believe Jarrod was killed in an auto accident in the 1980s. He lived in Milltown, NJ, which is the town next to my hometown East Brunswick.
  6. I never knew about the other Andrade daughters. How interesting.
  7. @Golden - The original Capitol bible (written in 1980) referenced six McCandless children -- Tyler, Thomas, Wally, Lee (who became Matt), Karen, and Gillian. Karen and Gillian were twins and the daughters of Baxter's late brother. I remember Karen being mentioned early in the show's run.
  8. Adair was on through the end of 1985. I think she moves to California.
  9. According to a couple online sources, India returned in late 1998, so she did overlap with Marj Dusay's brief return as Alex. Here's a scene where India returns and interacts with Alex: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwaXCNnCOH0 Jane was introduced in 1983 as the nanny that Amanda hired to care for her baby brother Matthew.
  10. Good one, Carl, but no such luck!
  11. Hey guys. Had to share this little tidbit. Back in December, my partner Eric and I moved to Collingswood, NJ, which is just outside Philadelphia. It turns out that none other than Michael Corbett (Warren Carter on Search) was raised in our house. Michael's parents owned the house from around 1955 until circa 2005. Michael's mom still lives in the area and they sometimes come by to see the house. So, we're hoping he stops by at some point. By the by, Michael's real surname is Cianfrani. Margaret, his mother, is an artist and what's now our dining room was once her art studio. Here's her Web site, where you can see some paintings she did of Michael: http://www.margetheartist.com/ We're fortunate that the previous owner of our house left some Cianfrani memorabilia for us, including one of Margaret's paintings and Michael's childhood ruler.
  12. A couple things: * I thought Beth Ann Bonner and Alicia Leigh Willis were being considered for the role of Michelle Bauer, not Marah Lewis. There was strong talk in the spring of 2009 that GL was bringing back Michelle. I don't remember any talk of resurrecting Marah, though I could be wrong. * I'm not sure Edge was interested in Karen Lynn Gorney playing Nicole, but rather Gorney was interested in the role. There was a spread in People in 1981 that featured photos of the Edge cast at the 25th anniversary and Gorney was included in the photos. The article said that she was interested in the role after Jayne Bentzen had departed.
  13. Picking up from Khan... Photo 1 First row (from left): Lewis Arlt, ?, Drew Snyder, Maree Cheatham and John Cunningham Second row: Andrea McArdle, Courtney Simon and ? Third row: ? (although she probably played Suzi), Billie Lou Watt (?) and Val Dufour Fourth row: Joel Higgins and Anne Wyndham Photo 2 First row: Michael Nouri, Meg Bennett and Carl Lowe Second row: Millee Taggart, ? (I'm talking about the kid she's holding), Peter Simon and Sherry Rooney (John Aniston's wife) Third row: Hmmm. Let me think. Fourth row: Richard Lohman and ?
  14. After looking at the scenes of Reva leaving the church, I believe those scenes were filmed at the same church that was used for the culmination of One Life to Live's homophobia storyline in August 1992. (Those scenes featured the AIDS Quilt.) The churches and grounds like remarkably alike. Interestingly, if that's the case, that means that the scenes were filmed in New Vernon, New Jersey, just a few towns away from Peapack!
  15. Carl, It was actually Matt McCandless who punches Jordy in that clip, not Wally. And the clip ends with Fran and Amy Burke watching the footage on television. I believe Fran owned or worked at some kind of lakeside restaurant. As for Witherspoon, I had stopped watching Capitol by the time he was playing Tyler. I was really into One Life to Live at that point.
