ATWT getting "20 Million viewers" for that wedding in the '80s. It never made sense - and seemed so random.

I liked both KC and RM as Janet for different reasons. A lot of people think of Kate's Janet as ALL CAMP ... but I think she did "disturbing" WELL (pun intended).

Recasting Melody Anderson as Natalie. Kate Collins is the ONLY Natalie.

Kitty/Kelly from All My Children was successful. Cindy's twin, Karen (also played by Ellen Wheeler), not so much... but, supposedly, if you believe the comments to this YT video, EW left of her own volition (I had assumed AMC dropped the character - writing her blackmailing Adam over what he did to Dixie, as well as Karen kidnapping Junior).

Erica Kane: Highest Point: Yelling at the Bear 🐻, jk. No, I think it would be when she was getting national recognition while living in Manhattan, releasing her memoir Raising Kane (even though Adam sabatoged the film version) and later becoming an entrepreneur. And special recognition to the moment after Kendall wheeled Richard Fields into the courtroom to taunt her, Erica returned and read him (and Kendall) to filth, ending it with her trademark "I AM ERICA KANE!". Lowest Point: Going on the run with Baby Bianca, and becoming a diner waitress named 'Sally'... and hooking up with that creepy guy that Travis later killed. Janet Marlowe Green: Highest Point Telling off all the Pine Valley hypocrites in the courtroom while fighting for Amanda. She referred to Trevor as a "lump of lard." Lowest Point: Wanting to kidnap Brooke and steal her life. Good thing that was dropped.

Cindy's twin was named 'Karen'; she kidnapped Adam Junior. But at least Natalie called out Trevor for his idiocy multiple times, and originally wanted to leave his dumbass for Count Dimitri. Hayley pretty much knew from day-1 it was Janet... but something always prevented her from voicing it to "Porkchop." LOL

I liked Jane ... but she should've been Faux-Silver (post-surgery)... not some random, crazy fan. Or they should've just brought back Deborah Goodrich.

Her "crazy" was annoying. Janet's "crazy" was haunting and entertaining. The drop was just a brief lull. We now know Janet is completely psychotic and put her sister in a well, marrying Trevor while posing as Nat. Unfortunately for Janet, she caught the chicken pox and is sick in bed; she can't make the water/food drop.... will Nat die? Erica is done with Charlie (who moves out of Pine Valley). Erica now makes her move back to Jackson, which puts her back at odds with Brooke. Will Cortlandt becomes more and more devious. Craig Lawson and Nurse Marsh make a nasty sex tape (poor Dixie!!!)

Natalie is in the well now. Btw, another unpopular story playing during the brief drop was Emily Ann going insane, faking a pregnancy with Joey ('Jake'), and drugging Katie Kennicott (attempting to murder her). AMC came within .3 of Y&R a couple times in early 1993 (Tad and Dixie).
