True, I feel her popularity didn’t outshine KKL/Brooke at the time though with the Thorne/deacon stories. I feel Jacqui/Steffy however has outshined KKL. And I remember Kim matula was very popular too.

Easy ones:

Y&R: Victor Newman. The most dominant male character on that whole soap hands down. Victor embodied old movie masculinity. Multiple women. A white colar businessman with blue collar capabilities like boxing and horse roding. He was a villain that morphed into an anto hero then back into a crusty ageable villain. 

GH: Sonny Corinthos was the center of General Hospital from about 1999 up until the mid-2010s. A large concensus woukd say to the show's detrement.

Jason Moragn: Jason was the second male lead on the show for roughly that same period. 

OLTL: Todd Manning. So much focus was given to Todd especially during his 90s and 2000s runs.

Dallas: JR Ewing. I prefered the the early days when Bobby and Pam were the center while JR was the main antagonist. It was however fun to see Hagman embrace the spotlight, and have the character's nefarious deeds take over the show.

I would say bold first it guy was bill but he’s a joke now.

I feel Caroline-80s, Sheila-90s Brooke’s-late 90s-like 2011? Maybe.

I mean she’s a decent actress.  She may not be charismatic and soapy like Jacqui, but she can act for bold standards. Objectively she’s a stronger actress than most of the women actresses in the cast, except Heather. And her and Jacqui is kinda interchangeable for me, but I use to say it went Heather>Rena>Annika. I think her in the Hope role though hasn’t rly made an impact. Tanner is an ok actor.

Yea I mean I think objectively she’s prettier than say kim/Jacqui but she lacks that charm and sex appeal they possess, her acting is cool, I mean is not great but I wouldn’t say the current actresses are better. She js lacks that charisma, say Jacqui kimberlin etc has, again I think she would thrive more in another role. But as Hope, eh.

Yeah Katrina was prettier and favored kkls appearance/acting more. I think Annika is talented and woulda thrived on a edgier role but she wouldnt have been my first choice for Hope.

Yep, she’s so pretty and has good on screen prescene. As for Annika, she is one of the most talented and beautiful actresses on the show, it sucks her character is so boring. Mal young woulda wrote better for bold than yr tbh

There are still great episodes and I am looking forward Taylor to comeback and ruin Brooke again... but... I am sad to say the show has lost its magic somewhere in 1994. I hope it regains it soon.

Finn is my favorite male too, but me thinking his cute is more of an objective view, like I actually think he looks cute.And Liam though I hate him.

Y&R: Katherine was the lead female star in the 70s arguably...Brenda Dickson was the it girl in the 80s along with Cricket. I wouldn't say Nikki was ever the "it girl" but she was definately the top tier female lead in the show for a good portion of the 80s-2000s. On show posters you typically see Victor, Nikki, and Jack, and Nikki often went first or second in show opening credits.

GH: Laura in the early 80s, Carly from 1996 onwards.

DAYS: one could say Marlena was the first female lead for a while 

Wht about Brooke on bold? I feel she  had the largest following but I don’t rly remember.

Js outta curiosity what would you give the current men on bold? Maybe we’re going by a different scale, like if I’m going by a grading scale, then everyone is prolly 2 ratings higher. I’m js going of the traditional scale.

Idk.lol.maybe shemar when he was younger like 9? Idk any of the top of my head, I don’t find Michael b jordan all that gorgeous like many seem to me. A lotta them are 8 ish at max to me.. some if their lucky a 9, I don’t think I’ve seen a man I thought in my mind was a 10 lol. Women are js ussually more attractive.
