But watching these first 7 seasons in dept made me just not like anything since. And I once watched all these seasons as a teenager and loved them.

My main issues.

1. Disgustingly bad dialogue and repeated scenes that make you want to vomit.

There are moments when there are 5 episodes in which the same scene is repeated. We also have flashbacks all the time.

2. Taylor has been destroyed as a character. The smart interesting woman of 1990 to 1993 is gone and there is this pathetic crying all the time victim.

3. The show looks and feels cheaper. The clothes look worse and sometimes I forget I an watching a show about fashion people.

The first 7 years were so glamorous and beautiful.

4. Making Brooke the slut from the valley made the whole war between her and Stephanie a cartoon. The beginning... the first 7 years it was very high level quality conflict. Stephanie was not so cartoonish.

 

Overall I am thinking of re watching the first 1700 episodes and just never going pass that. But I will continue with 1999.

B&B: Brooke and Deacon. Yes, SK and KKL may have had sizzling chemistry, but this story came out of nowhere, didn't make sense based on what we had seen up till then, seriously damaged Brooke as a character (not a good thing to do to your leading lady) and it also gave us Hope.....

Not liking someone and hating them is two different things. You can’t hate someone you don’t even know like that. Im not even a Logan lover just correcting delusional takes when I see one

Brooke doesn't bring ratings and hasn't in years. Now Steffy does, always has and always will. It took the Steffy/Finn/Sheila story with the shootings and whatnot to give the show a ratings boost after bottle gate tanked ratings so bad

 

The Sheila stand alone episode did so much better than Brooke's too. Speaks VOLUMES IMO

And Brooke and ridges reunion In 2020 had better ratings than Steffys addiction story, your point? And those ratings were because of Steffy not Sheila lmao. Also as you mentioned Steffy and her husband were SHOT do you not think fans would tune in for that? Give me an example of a Steffy rating boost that didn’t involve Sheila, lol. Stop using ratings when it benefits you. Worldwide, Brooke is THE most popular bold and beautiful character, PERIOD. Get over it. Steffy is younger, she has a vocal fandom online and that’s where it ends. Crowd of ppl in africa all joined to meet KKL, Jacqueline doesn’t have that impact. Again do research.

Steffy has the most vocal fandom online, but KKL is still the most popular star worldwide, she has the longest lines in fan events, and is popular globally..she’s like an icon in  Italy. Y’all look silly thinking social media speaks for the audience.

Anyways I think Krista is good, I js need to see more but she has a lotta potential..from what I seen from her she’s better than Jacqui to me. I’ve liked some of her scenes better than AN/kkls, but again I need to see more.

The AN disdain on this board is interesting lol  also, online soap fandoms and fandoms in general tend to speak for vocal fans not the majority. We’ll never truly know the majority  I think AN is a cool actress, I don’t think she’s the best. but she’s a more refined actress than Jacqui. Jacqui is a soapy actress, but she’s not a thespian. When I mean real life, my apologies, but atleast people where I live would say she’s a better actress, maybe is different around the world. Who knows. But you’re right is my opinion lol. I think if people put their favoritism aside they would see it lol. And the soap fandoms has faves they love to hype up.. I think the actress who played sally was the better than AN, I don’t even think flos actress was bad, but Jacqui acting is not that good #tome.

Thank you.  I read these arguments about who is better and I'm like...neither?  Annika is terrible.  The best actress on this show was Susan Flannery and there's never been much else honestly other than Heather Tom and her crying.  KKL does fine/pretty good.  I would say the current Taylor Krista?? Holds her own and is decent.  The rest of the cast is pretty much blah.  Don Diamont is in Ron Moss territory.  Not quite as bad because he's not so monotone.  

I don’t think An is the best but she’s decent. I’ll say Heather>Annika>>KKL>Krista>Jacqui> are my top 5. But I have to see Krista In more.

Again, anyone outside the soap fandom would favor AN’s acting over those other 2. But the soap fandom has their overrated faves

MA acted CIRCLES around that scene with AN, she chewed the scenery big time. Dramatic stories are not her forte 

Matt is good but you’ve gotta be smoking if you think he did better in that scene than An. Annika is a better actress than Jacqui. Jacqui overdoes hand gestures and she can’t even control her facial expressionsObjectively AN is better and more refined, and anyone who doesn’t keep up with the show and has no faves would agree lol.

Yes I know Victor Newman was featured as the star at times, but I don't consider him a leading man, I still consider him a villain.

To me, a leading man is someone I care about.  I loathed those guys.

To me, an "it girl" or "it guy" is someone with charisma AND an attractive personality -- someone I would want to be around!  They don't have to be perfect but they shouldn't be villains!
