do you think in this new show there will be a super couple? based on what I read on character description there isn't at the moment a super couple, but time will tell I'd like to see a new powerful super couple à la Eden/Cruz from Santa Barbara or a great couple à la Sloane/Trey on Capitol , with great political schemes, which seems to be perfect due to the fact Beyond the Gates is set in Washington DC area. What do you think?

I'm glad to hear CBS is doing another soap, especially with a rich black family at the centre of the story. I hope to see new great and beautiful young actresses and actors for the main roles, I know there is a lot of veteran black actos but a new soap needs to have also a young casting (around mid-20/early 30 years old) to focus on. I'd like to see new supercouples and also a great glamourous settings (I remember old CBS Capitol soap with great glamourous settings, wonderful faces and the beautiful stories so I hope new soap will do the same with black people). I'd like to see one of the main character will be a rich young beautiful woman who falls in love with a man who is the nemesis of her family and the show must go on... for the setting... do you think Atlanta? or New Orleans? I think it could be in a rich country (I think Santa Barbara, but I know there was another soap here)

Khan, I agree. Probably Falcon Crest could be a good choice today. Prbably "Promised Land" (serial begin in Jan 24, 2022 on ABC) will be sort of Falcon Crest I hope to see AMC reboot. Probably ABC would to do it right

My favourite storylines of SB were the wedding of Eden/Cruz, all the storylines of Eden/Zack/Cruz/Adriana, Kelly/Robert Barr/Quinn and also Elena. The first episode I watched of this soap is the murder of Dylan by Kelly in self defence. a great story. I hate how they ruin Eden/Cruz story. I didn't like the last 2 years. I watched them only because Kelly was here but I admit I'd liked Kelly would have a major role after Eden departures. Also I don't understand why Eden wasn't recasted. Probably Eileen Davidson could have been a better Eden than Kelly. Carrington Garland was a good Kelly. If producers keep Miss Garland and put Davidson as Eden could have been a better choice.

I think a revival of AMC could be interesting. I read Susan Lucci has interest in it. A prime time soap or something about Beyond Salem could be good. I'd like to see a revival of old soaps. I miss them too much. (Just a little Off Topic: I wonder why TheCW and Netflix don't do a remake of Dallas with original characters but in modern day setting, like Dynasty... it could be an interesting soap Universe)
