Right. I'm not worried about missing out on BB classics as the majority of their choices weren't classics at all. I'm just surprised that have a weeks worth of episodes ready to air next week especially under the new restraints. Besides, if we do go into another lockdown are they going back to classics again? I thought BB was going to get some episodes in the bank and delay their return until at least sometime in August in case another lockdown were to occur they'd have more episodes like what happened with Days.
Totally agree.

Wow, they're ready to start airing episodes again? I wasn't expecting them to start so soon.
I personally think it is too soon. Oh well! I think that there were only a handful of episodes that are "classics".

I remember reading somewhere that B&B took off in almost all of Europe whereas the only European country Y&R became a big hit in was France. As far as other countries where both were exported, I've also read Y&R was bigger in Israel and Turkey, and both were big in Australia.
Bradley Bell was in charge by the time of the Catalina Island crossover (fall 1993). The first rumors of 1 hour expansion were in late 1994/early 1995; Lauren moved to B&B in the fall of 1995.
Brad was only the head writer. Bill and Lee Bell were still the executive producers. Tracey Bregman was even talking about this a couple of weeks ago when talking about the Catalina episode that Bill was seriously considering making the show an hour then.

I would like to meet Susan and John. I have read a few interviews when they talk about one another. John called Susan his other wife. Susan said she loved John and called him my sweetheart. I guess after working for 25 years you really get to know one another really well.

Lol i remember Anki's!:D And there was also a site called Tresure of memories full lots of screencaps etc
Our schedule here in Finland was
1992 (1987-1988)
1993 (1989)
1994 (1990-1991)
1995 (1992-1993)
1996 (1994-1995)
1997 (1996)
1998 (1997)
1999 (1998)
and so on...
We had our own monthly Soap Opera magazine in 1997-2004 which had spoilers but after internet took over the magazine was cancelled. There was literally NO spoilers at all in 1992-1997 which made it exciting. Also many of the stars visited our country in the 90's.
It sounds like the show was a HUGE hit.

I can't imagine the show being that so many years behind. I guess you were right about not reading the spoilers on the way internet. NOTHING would have been a surprise.

I always wondered what B&B would be like if it went to an hour. Bill Bell was thinking about it. I think that was the time when he brought Lauren Fenmore over from Y&R. The whole Catalina Island storyline and the getting involved with Eric. She was there for a few years in the 90's.

I always wondered why the show was so successful in Europe. That totally makes sense, Communism fell and it was like a whole new world. The former Communist countries got the American shows. I am so old, I was only 13 when that happened. The success of all the soaps was that there wasn't any internet I think. I remember having to read the spoilers from the magazines.

You are so right!Classic episodes are before 2010.

i think since Brad not one single story is complete - Ridge and Quinn - could have been huge! Bringing Deacon back a few times - nothing. Sheila! could have been great (i know she left for a politica career) but why not bring her now, James - mentioning Mary - nothing! and so many other stories - just in the trush
after her "new"hair cut Susan started to look more masculine i think.
just uploaded some photoes in the photo archive from the Charity show enjoy!
So true- I never did like the new haircut. I realize it was because Susan was sick, but it wasn't the same.

It really seems like the show is brand new. I even noticed in January 2013, when Susan and Ronn were gone,- Brad changed the way the credits were. From 1987 until then the first credits were to the creators, RIP Bill and Lee Bell. The last credit was the executive producer. Then in January 2013, it flipped. I think this was his way of saying it's not my parents show anymore.

It just got so campy. The only really good storyline was Stephanie's abuse storyline.

Actually, I have all of Marek's episodes and more. If he continues uploading, he will end somewhere around July 2004. It's a great collection, although with the Polish voice over. Almost all episodes from 1989-1992 and again from 2000-2004. I have some episodes from 2007-2010 as well and I believe they could fill the gaps from the officially shared episodes. The problem is I have them stored at the place I'm not currently staying, so it can take some time before I get them again.
I love 2004. IMO that was really the last great year. In 2005, things just got cazy.

I have been trying for awhile to get the 14 day free period. The problem is you have to put your credit card # to start the trial. Using a VPN, I don't feel safe doing that.
The wonderful person just added another episode, so we are all caught up.

I just checked the vault. A huge THANK YOU to whoever put in episodes 751-754.

I was reading some of Amy's comments, and it sounds like she was getting the episodes from someone else. That "source" stopped giving her episodes so she can't upload them.

Yes she did.

I really didn't like ANY part of this. Beth's grandchildren are actually fathered by her college sweetheart. The wedding was rushed.

This is EXACTLY why I didn't like Brooke and Eric - it was rushed. I know KKL was pregnant in real life, but to make Eric the father was disgusting, especially since he claimed to be in love with Brooke's mother.
