  1. Yeah the cast reveal. Im wondering if any of the old cast will be mainstays or all of them cameos. I would be shocked if lucci said no.
  2. Ik they are probably making this for newer viewet, but will they atleast recap what has happened the last 10 years. Or will that be the big mystery
  3. here is what the Head Writer (or whatever his primetime counter part is) Leo Richardson had to say on Instagram about the show "I can’t even begin to say how excited and honored I am to be bringing this iconic property to prime time, alongside Andrew Stearn, Kelly Ripa, @instasuelos @abtvhd @alierivgut Michael Halpern and Bob Nixon. Soaps were my lifeblood growing up. They were the only place I really saw people who felt real and familiar, and who had real and every day struggles. The strong and resilient women I grew up around and recognized... the first time I saw a gay kiss on TV... soaps had it all. Bob Nixon, Agnes Nixon’s son said that he felt like his Mom would be smiling down, knowing her show was in the right hands. I hope she right. Andrew Stearn is a living AMC encyclopedia and then of course we have some it’s most iconic characters producing and who might even make a cameo or two... Expect the unexpected, expect darkness, a wicked wit, fun and a very new take on an old classic... with the ultimate respect for All My Children and the icons in #PineValley..."
  4. I wonder what lures the reporter to Pine Valley, Does a big crime happen?
  5. Me too. I didn't really ever watch the show before it was cancelled but my love loved it, So it was so nice telling her "Hey your shows coming back!"
  6. Both i guess? "it’s a sequel that will include new next generation characters as well as legacy characters." I belive its gonna ffocus on this reporter and the new chsracters, thats probably for the new viewers, but we will still see the legacy ones so thats probably for older viewers
  7. I dont want it to be as awful as abcs last primetime soap grand hotel
  8. Yesss. I completely forgot about budget! Big sets and wardrobe. Unless they purposefully go for a soapy style
  9. I thought Oltl was rumored to be getting a revival too. Guess pine valley is the Guinea pig
  10. If this revival is successful, Do you think They might try to crossover with GH ever? It might be good promotion for gh
  11. Im also wondering, will they mention the 2013 stuff at all. Or will this be a continuation from the original run
  12. The show could suck but the EP sounds nice andrew stearn From deadline "Stearn has been the driving force behind Pine Valley. A lifelong fan, he watched All My Children growing up. Last year, when he was deciding between ABC Signature and one other studio for an overall deal, he chose ABC Signature because it was going to allow him to pursue his dream of rebooting All My Children. He started working toward that goal on Day 1 of his deal, beginning with tracking down the rights."
  13. If this is successful im wondering if abc will get on a llanview show, i thought oltl was part of those rumors too?
  14. It says Pine Valley will have a heightened tone and will wink to the daytime soap genre
  15. YR is preempted on Thanksgiving so they will air the mascarade ball.
  16. Agree with all but kinda surprised about GH. When it came back i seen a few people say its been doing okay with diversity ie spreading its cast around story for em etc. Did that change in the last month or two?
  17. I saw this question on twitter, how does everyone feel the 4 soaps are doing with race diversity after the blm backlash?
  18. "I loved Mia. I would play her again, but only if I time traveled to the ‘80s when there was no social media. Because what I do not miss about portraying Mia is being bashed and ridiculed publicly for not being skinny, manufactured, or white enough for the soap opera demographic." whaf fan says these things 😬
  19. yeah same, With Gloria, For chloe and Kevins baby.
  20. awww their first recast LOL nice to see some GL vets getting work, I know its just a podcast soap but still And as the article states they are getting a season 2.
  21. Bold had justin talking about needing more diversity too, Must be a CBS Thing
