I wish this show were setting up a "Who Shot Tucker?" storyline, but I'm sure Griffith couldn't write it. I mean, think of the suspects: Audra, Ashley, Jack, Phyllis, Summer, Daniel. You could even throw in Nate, Adam, Victor, and Nikki if they wanted to. The show needs a wide umbrella story instead of all this corporate battle non-intrigue.
I wouldn't be shocked,Tucker is pretty much just TSJ Todd to me. yelling at women and associated with rape.

Yes, Janet will be the first woman EP that Ron will work with (unless he's fired and doesn't come back after the strike). Only Alarr and Valentini have been his EPs.
That'll be interesting. Maybe, Sherri Anderson or whomever Is writing will be so good TPTB decide to keep her/him

Very curious as to how Ron’s gonna handle Janet being promoted to co-EP.
Is this gonna be the first time he’s ever worked for a woman?
He was Dena Higleys Co HW at OLTL, If that counts

MS acting is horrendous.
I'd like to think this is Phyllis hamming it up to the judge? Maybe?

Speaking of Abbotts,

Michael Maloney interviews Peter Bergman about Jack marrying Diane,
and working with Susan Walters
- interviewed for Soaphub
In November 2021, Bergman was recuperating from an eye injury but any discomfort he was feeling was soon alleviated after receiving a phone call from head writer/co-executive producer Josh Griffith and Danielle Unger, Director Current, CBS.
“They wanted to talk to me about this person they wanted to bring back,” Bergman says, referring to the decision to resurrect the role of Diane who would once again be played by Walters.
"I had been banging this drum for a really long time,” Bergman shares. He concurs with the notion that Y&R is based on two powerful families — the Abbotts and the Newmans. Alas, the Abbotts on the scene around this time were primarily Jack and Billy (Jason Thompson). Bergman recalls that Griffith and Unger shared with him that “that’s what we’re trying to fix.”
“I owe so much to those two for the prominence of the Abbott family [today],” Bergman cheers. “Bringing Jabot back. Bringing back the Abbott family. And they brought Susan back. And Peter Bergman is very happy.”

Elena has been such a bland character since her arrival. It'd be fun to see her turn evil and become obsessed with taking Nate down and maybe stealing Devon back from Abby.
There's a lot I take issue with on the show right now, but one thing I have been enjoying if all the emphasis on the Abbott family again. The Newmans dominated storylines for so long with whomever was left on the Abbott side getting storyline scraps.
I'm surprised how much I enjoy Ashley and Tucker together, but TSJ is the first actor ED has had any chemistry with in what feels like forever.
I'm excited to see what Diane cooks up next because I just can't believe she's truly left all of her bad girls behind, and I can see Audra joining the family mix.
I've always wanted to see more Tracy though, and it would be so great to see BM finally get a true story of her own again.
Who do you think was the last person who worked well as a love interest for Ashley?

Phyllis storyline spoiler in my own words.
SpoilerPhyllis agrees to the plea bargin of pleading guilty to protect her kids and only has one request a meeting with the judge.
Christine agrees and Phyllis tells the judge her story about what happened to Stark and requests community service and a chance to make it up to her loved ones for what she did.
Very quickly after, the judge makes her decision and griffith says the verdict will rock the town.
Wednesday August 9th:
Phyllis pays for her crimes.

Thanks, it's been such a sad week posting about Days like this. So, I am so glad it is all over. It was such a pleasure typing up the Janet press release just now. I hadn't announced it, but if you hadn't noticed, I had stopped doing any publicity posts about Days since the cast petition was announced. I would have continued my suspension of any Days publicity (weekly guest stars, episode stats, casting news, etc...) until Alarr was fired.
I had a weird feeling watching all the soaps, I'm glad its over too. And yes good to Cast, Crew and, fans for not letting up.

Janet Dricker isn’t the one the cast asked Ken to promote in their petition. They wanted that Sonia lady

Thank goodness but awful how long it went on and the damage it caused.
Yeah, over 20 years. I hope the cast got more of an apology then that letter.

#SoapTwitter (I refuse to say #SoapUglyX.) is doing a massive Blocking of Digest because they have still not uttered one word about DAYS/Alarr. Every other soap media outlet has covered it.
This isn't on topic so, I'll stop talking about it here after this post.
I bet they will have exclusivity whenever they find a new EP. That's why they are staying quiet. It's wrong but that's my thoughts

Wayyyy too much Lame!
I forget Zende and Paris are even on contract with the show. What a shame.
I've always wondered, how is Brad able to do that? Zende and Paris aren't the only contract actors to eventually go without any airtime. But how? They have minimums or something like that right?

Tucker feels like TSJs Victor jr/Todd anyways, of course they have to connect the character to rape.

Thank GOD! That story is so over played and was so damn dumb
Also, I wonder if Elena will try and take down Nate?
"You see, Nate, these games you keep playing are going to eventually backfire on you, and they are going to burn you down to the ground. And who knows? Maybe I’ll be the person to light the fire.”

Spoiler from Michelle Staffords Cameo
SpoilerMichelle Stafford said recently in a Cameo.com video to a fan that Phyllis and Diane are moving into new or separate storylines, Phyllis's sole motivation in life won't be revenge on Diane anymore.

Indeed but also actually unfortunately has very real basis in reality i.e. R. Kelly.
This is pretty scandalous. I can’t wait until Diane, Summer, and Ashley learn about this just to see their priceless reactions.
Yeah, dumps Summer for protecting her mother, Kyle's reaction to this
Also I wonder
SpoilerHow TSJ feels considering his previous character was involved in rape. Granted this go around he didn't actually commit it.
