I adored the Chase and Willow scenes.

Cristian shimmying off Evangeline’s panties for their big OLTL sex scene:
That Cristian and Evangeline scene was quite sensual.

I hate how Adam is being deemed the devil for wanting to be in his sons’ lives.

Wasn’t there a scene on OLTL where it was implied that Dorian was giving David a BJ?

Who do you think are some of the raciest love scenes on soaps? I always thought the first Lulu and Dante love scene on GH was pretty bold. They had to actually blur Julie Marie Berman's chest at points. Modern ones are usually pretty tame, but I thought the Griffin and Kiki and Willow and Chase recent love scenes showed more skin than usual.

See I think the main problem people have with it is not the age gap, as there have been plenty of popular May December relationships. It's because Tracy is perceived as not attractive enough because she's not a size 2. I think that's horrible. I loved Coop and Ashlee on Guiding Light because it showed that plus size women are desirable. I wish there were more average sized women on soaps.

Without factoring in miscarriages, Sharon only has/had four kids.
However Nick should've stopped having children after Cassie's death.
Well Nick only has 3 biological children and one dead adopted child and one alive adopted child that is really his nephew. I don't think he considers Mariah to be his daughter. If he didn't have children after Cassie's death that would leave him with one child in Noah.

Wasn't he not an active father to most of his children?

The problem with Sonny on GH isn't really the amount of kids (which is excessive) but the time frame. For the first 7 years on the show he remained childless (except for the Lily explosion baby) and was basically in love with the same woman. Then from 2000-2010 he impregnated Carly, adopted Michael, had Kristina, impregnated Sam, had Morgan, impregnated Claudia, and found Dante. That is a ridiculous amount of baby/child stories to give a character in a 10 year period, especially with his revolving door of female partners. I would never had made Dante his son, certainly wouldn't have given him Avery, and have no idea why we are watching Sonny and Carly have a kid now.
I agree that Avery was unnecessary, but the twins who play her are adorable so I'm ok with her now. Though I'm hoping this baby Carly is carrying is not born. Especially since Michael will be making Carly a grandmother when he gets his son back.

Erica only had one child born onscreen, right? Kendall and Josh were retcons.

Which character on soaps has the record for the most children? I’ll assume it’s a man.

I fee like this story with Jax, Cassandra, Valentin, and Hayden should be leading up to a Nikolas return. Especially since it was a Cassadine that took Cassandra from the clinic last year.

I was really surprised to see Mark Lawson as Lulu's date today. Brody!!!
He's still very attractive. I like the idea of the two of them together. I also loved the Jax and Hayden reveal today.

I don't remember if Justin Bruening and Alexa Havins were mentioned, but talk about an attractive couple.

If you asked this about any other decade I could have lists. But it had really started to be a chore to watch these soaps since early 2000.
Here are the only ones I really enjoyed.
AMC- Leo and Greenlee
Anna and David
Jessie and Angie (the most the show had moved me in ages was that return storyline, and yes this is a cheat).
OLTL- Tea and Todd/Victor
Kyle and Fish
GH- Alexis and Ric
Dillon and Georgie
Lulu and Dante (mostly their early relationship)
Robin and Patrick
ATWT- Luke and Reid
Luke and Noah
Maddie and Casey
GL- Ben and Marina
Y&R- Lily and Daniel
Colleen and JT
I also loved Luke and Reid.

Who do think are some of the best soap couples to come out of the 2000s era of soaps?

I think Chelsea killed her husband. I'm really loving Adam and Phyllis teaming up, and I wouldn't mind some hate sex between them. Nick and Chelsea were horrible the first time, and they're still horrible.

I’ve only watched soaps since the 2000s, but I’ve heard about great triangles like Jax/Brenda/Sonny. I personally hated the Elizabeth/Jason/Sam triangle as I felt Sam was thrown under the bus.

Yeah, I don't really like Sasha. I don't understand what her motive was for agreeing to be Nina's daughter in the first place other than pure greed. I continue to love Willow and Chase.

Skye Patterson came to Pine Valley as an Australian singer, not a pop star, more of a lounge singer like Michelle Pfeiffer in the Fabulous Baker Boys at Tom's club (when she was introduced by Aussie actress Antoinette Byron there needed to be some explanation of her accent). Her motive in moving to PV was that she had found out that her mother, also a singer, had an affair with Adam which resulted in her birth (according to the AMC history coffee table book).
There was actually not a lot of exposition about it at the time. It was after the mystery of Adam's first wife in the forbidden wing with Stuart, (and Skye was not the first wife's child), so the details were murky. By the time the role was recast, she was no longer Australian, or a singer, she was just a socialite bigot who moved into the Chandler house. The focus was more on her first relationship with Tom, and her arguments with Stuart about Cindy, rather than her history. She was very close to her Uncle Stuart, which is why some may having thought that she was Adam's first wife's daughter, but that is not how she was introduced. The whole Rae storyline was a retcon due to Linda Dano and Robin Christopher's prior success on Another World.
After her marriage and divorce from Tom Cudahy, she became an alcoholic to cope with the mounting pressures of trying to date Jeremy Hunter, who was also pining for someone else. I recall that she sought treatment after hitting Natalie with her car while drunk driving, but I could be wrong because I couldn't verify it. Her drinking made her an initial suspect in the murder of Will Cortlandt (Dixie's brother), much like half-sister Hayley (whose drinking was for some reason more of a concern for their father Adam). So, she left Pine Valley, before the murder trial, to recover further out of town. Also, at the time, the character was clearly made redundant by Hayley, who shared a lot of character details, and Adam didn't need two drunk daughters.
Thank you, I look up Robin Christopher on wiki and was surprised to learn that she married one of her co-star from her time on Another World.

I only saw the character of Skye on GH, so could someone fill in some questions from her backstory for me? From a few clips I've seen, Skye thought Adam was her father long before she knew Rae was her mother. How did that situation come about? Also, I know Skye was an alcoholic as they continued that thread on GH. How did her drinking problem start?

Yes, Anna had a memory of Alex's implanted in her. The procedure was later perfected to make Drew think he was Jason. The experiment was only done on identical twins, and the side effects of it caused Alex/Anna, Ryan/Kevin, and Jason/Drew to go blind.
I really enjoyed the scene today where Stella gave her speech to Ryan in order to convince him to donate his kidney to Jordan. It has been the only bright spot in this dull Jordan needs a kidney storyline.

Yeah, I can't say I care very much about them turning Alex into a villain. I'm glad they wised up and made Peter Alex's son.

I doubt Ingo’s begging on the streets.

I don’t care what his reasons for coming back are. Jax should be on the show.

I loved the Phyllis and Adam scenes. I hope they continue to work together.

So does anyone else recall the implied BJ scene between Dorian and David or did I imagine it?
