*We already know Hillary got the Dem nomination on lock. How about from the GOP? Scott Walker might be a good candidate. He's got Koch $$$ behind him, but struggles with name recognition. Marco Rubio can get the Latino votes for sure, and Christie pretends to be a moderate (and thus, garner some crossover appeal). Thoughts?

*Will the electorate be too pissed at Obama or would they focus their anger on the incompetents in the House?

Why do you hate Doug? The Blake family is okay but I think they're disturbing and I don't get much pleasure in watching their scenes. I was kinda hoping that the wife would just blow them all up and Maxine would survive....

Uhh to Frankie. Couldn't stand her during the JP/Craig storyline and it looks like she's still a nasty c word which I won't even type out. As for Will I don't know how to feel about him. I was laughing and cheering him on when he destroyed Dodger at the cemetery that one episode after Theresa was about to shoot Dodg...but at the same time it looks like he murdered Texas and for that I'm a little sketched out by him.

*Doug is just so judgmental, boring, and utterly joyless. Same with Nancy.

*Freddie's one of my faves now. He's a good foil to his brother and he's got a thing for Lindsey as well.

*What's your take on Frankie's latest scheme to break Esther and Tilly up?

Hollyoaks is on a roll lately. Best English soap by far. The Blake family is the best thing to ever happen to this show in a long while, and likewise for the Roscoe's.

Sienna and Clare better team up to put that whiny Tom in his place.

I wish Craig would come back for John Paul & Matthew.

I'd even accept a recast. Doug bores me to pieces.

*This Tony storyline is already getting tedious. These things never translate well to soaps. Either kill him off or drop it entirely. I don't think the viewers need to see that.

*Mercie's the best and nothing will change that for me. Same with Sienna.
*I like 3 of the Roscoe bruv's (Freddie/Joe/especially Ziggy) and the new Lindsey.

*Ste bores me. He needs to just go away forever. Plus, Kieron always looks like he never takes a shower. Sienna's twin also bores me.

*Can Nancy just stay gone? Darren was always so alive before her.

*Dang, I wanted more Tilly/Esther.

God help me but the more i see of Merci and Dr. Browning the more I like....he's sorta charming in a quirky manner sorta way.

Best couple on the show so far. Normally, I'd like Darren...but Nancy is dragging him down. Does she -ever- do anything other than chastise others?

About the domestic violence thing, I believe the producers only gave what the fans on Facebook wanted,

I don't even know what to make of Mercedes from what I've read of her over the past two years or so.

The character just seems like someone totally new, and I can't believe I used to hold a soft spot for her during her earlier years on the show (even when she did some questionable things). It's a perfect example of how bad and uncharacteristic writing can totally destroy a show or love you've had for a character.

Which is why I thought Clare was only carrying out Public Service...

I hope the Red Lady comes back to terrorise Tom/Mercie/Browning again.

Oddly enough I like Mercedes a lot just cuz shes got such an attitude. Loved how she didn't immediately fall head over heels in love with the idea of John Paul being gay. It was a very authentic reaction and well acted IMO.

Is Will permanently paralyzed or is the wheelchair a temporary thing?

Yeah I looked up the McQueen family some more and found some more YouTube scenes so I found about Tina....

I watched the scenes on YouTube and the reactions of the family afterward....just hearbreaking. Jacqui taking the baby from Myra...very rough.

I'm watching the whole John Paul/Craig saga right now just so cuz its JP and I want to learn more about him and his past. Pretty good storyline so far. Love how deep in denial Craig is.

*JP is amazing...though I was angry at how he had become such a doormat for Craig. At the same time, though, Craig was processing tons of emotions right at that moment...and I have some sympathy for him.

*Jacqui is a badass. She can be rough around the edges, but she means well.
