I think Ridge is just a character that is sucking the air out of the show. At least Bradleys version of it. He is like a black hole like sucks everyone at the end. RIDGE needs to just get away or get a complete life makeover... Brooke NEEDS to have a different storyline. After 40 years this love has become stale like a forgotten burger unde the bed after 1 week. Why did they desert the Hollis idea... Brooke needs to be THAT woman. It would open years worth of storyline with this much younger guy... maybe his mother would HATE that Brooke is with her son...since his whole life is ahead... and will try to intervene. We need Brooke to have a mother type of antagonist. Even if she is older. Brooke doesnt work as matriarch. She is a troublemaker and mistakemaker. She is more interesting when she is that. I would make Brollis a couple and get a new hot blond older acterss to play Hollis'...s mother... She needs to be Bree Van De Camp type... thats how I see it and clash with Brooke. Brooke NEEDS to have a constant problem or she is boring. For Taylor I will give her Ridge and make her pregnant very late in life. It would open a storyline about later in life pregnancy and Taylor would have years worth of story. The current actress looks young enough to do it. The character of Taylor has only worked when she has been married and protecting her family with Ridge. Taylor needs to be that smart... life partner that helps the idiot Ridge make right choices. BROOKE HAS NEVER helped Ridge make any smart move. Brooke and Ridges love is superficial. Its all about attraction and love at first sight. Their conversations are VERY boring. Taylor on the other hand... makes Ridge look smarter. Sheila needs to be completely normal and out of jail. She needs to be finally accepted in some way and have a different storyline than this. SHE HAS BEEN trying to fit in since 1992. Its getting boring. I dont want to see her evil smile or her stupid revenges. Give that woman something different. Make her a couple with Deacon and they could be the bad guy and girl couple. At least for a while... Sheila needs couple of months of being happy. The show has become so boring with her same emotions and rage and plotting all the time. Back in the day Sheila had these light moments... before the storm would begin again. GIVE HER A BREAK. Then make her psycho again... but we need a rest from this. Hope needs to BREAK UP with Liam. Liam Should be written off. Hope needs to have some scandalous storyline in which she destroys Brooke. It needs to be the other way around for a change. Nobody has destroyed Brooke like she has destroyed her kids and relatives. I think its time for a big Karma for Brooke and Hope can deliver it. Steffy and Finn I will keep as a couple but I think Finn should cheat with a hot nurse. She should be the new generation Sheila. Innocent on the outside but psychotic and dangerous. Steffy needs to be protective and strong and give that Stephanie vibe. Overall the show needs drama and better scripts. Better dialogue. I would also bring something like a stalker storyline. It would be amazing to have YOU type of storyline. The stalked should be Brooke... Maybe her first love from high school who she deserted for Ridge... back in 1987 .... has had enough of watching her perfect life. Brooke needs to be in peril.

Taylor looking for a man for Brooke is getting too much. Do we have to forget the million times Brooke made Taylors life a living hell. Bradley Bell really doesn't respect history or anything. Every year of the show it's the same old crap rewrapped and reheated and then these absurd non logic changes and things happening just for shock value or to make is seem original. Why did Bill bell leave so soon. I am so sad he isnt around. May he rest in peace. He was genius.

And again with Bradley Bell... he starts things and never finishes them. No potential is ever looked into. He goes into cliche and same old, same old. The only thing I would say positive is that the show looks richer and better production value. It was disgusting in 2020 to 2022.

I love this new RJ. He gives me classic Brooke 1987 valley vibes. I see him becoming CEO one day with a takeover. I like his teeth, makes him look natural. And I'm all for him being gay. Brooke should have a gay son... you cannot be straight with a mother like that. Lol And Bradley, girl, give us Brooke and Hollis and Ridge seeing them accidentally naked in the office. We need some drama. The show is so stale and boring.

I like how she is acting but I think Taylor is in a bit of a plateo. Nothings really happening with her. And I find it hard to believe her main goal is to find the woman that practically destroyed her life.. Brooke.. a date... Bradley is ignoring 30 years of history. But I like the actress a lot.

I think 2007 is bad. Back in 2007 I liked it... but years later this year is one of the worst for me.

I am talking about what I'm seeing. Here on Earth. On my TV, in my living room. Yes, In my opinion, Steffy is way too obsessed with her mother and father's love life. First 5 months of 2022 were Steffy telling Ridge he should not trust Brooke. She was like a bully repeating the same things. And then the boring scenes with her shirtless husband. Is that good storytelling? I can see that man shirtless 100 times and then it's just boring. Again, my opinion. I don't want to offend any super fans out there. Lol. I like my characters to have dept and do something that surprises me, you know. Steffy and Finn are so predictable, it's like a bad reality show. And... when did I say that I want her to be like Brooke? Brooke has been a ruined character ever since 2002-2005. But she is Brooke... she is the ultimate heroine of the show. No way I will compare the two. Brooke gave us 25 years of entertainment. Steffy in 2022, 2023 is just a basic cliche of a character with no dept and soul. Bradley struggles to write for her. He is better when he writes for the good girl... Hope sound more real to me. I really dream of this show to be better written. Even Steffy could be made interesting. She just needs Stories and dialogue. You react so emotionally to comments about fictional characters.. I mean.. Steffy is not your mother or sister. I can think and say whatever I want. Please don't take every criticism about the show so serious. Or do... I don't care. It's funny and predictable... these responses. Just like the show nowadays.

Absolutely... Bradley really dig a grave for Bold from mid 1994 to end of 1995. Its surprising it managed to survive.

I think soon the youtube channel will stop uploading. I just sense that after uploading 4 episodes a day... and now... only 1... It would take like YEEEARS to upload up to 2005... Which is where the episodes are available in youtube. They really ruined it for all. There are people that know me that have stopped watching because the youtube channel is uploading only one episode a day and its too slow. Amen!!!! This board is too toxic. Sometimes I am literally scared to speak my mind. I wake up to see my words twisted and taken out of context. Amen to you. I think 2007 is like erased from history in the show. Haha

It's completely Right to expect realism. In the sense that I don't want to watch stories that don't make sense... characters that act like cartoons... for example the first 7 years of Bold it was all realistic and these people on the screen were alive, they were multi dimensional. Nowadays it's one dimensional boring and completely absurd storylines that read like coming from this forum board. A writer... should have talent and should be emotionally intelligent to be able to write for shows like that. Shows that deal with people... over the age of 10. So... yeah... realism is very much needed. It's not the only thing that we need but it's needed. I mean... do you remember when Taylor got pregnant by Brooke's baby. That's the level of unrealistic that I don't want to see.

So far 1999 has been good. We are at the beginning. But I'm getting worried since there are no 2000 episodes in german and 1999 is the last full year I can watch. I will wait till episodes are available and continue. Maybe start from beginning soon if there are none. It's been a very interesting process my partner and I started the show year and a half ago and managed to watch complete 1987 to 1998 in 19 months. I would continue but there is this gap in the episodes and I don't want to miss them. If anyone has anything in german from 2000 and 2001 to complete the unfull 2 years I would be so happy. Even 2002 in better german quality will be amazing since the English ones are absurd looking. I am thinking of merging the english audio with better german picture if episodes are available. I will do them myself and reupload them. Maybe... i am only dreaming... Maybe the wonderful angel @rsclassicfanforever will save us one last time... i can only pray. It's sad to stop watching even when it's the Bradley Bell period. We still have 1999 to go but...I am already sad. 1998 and 1999 are a lot better. Maybe because of Amber and Brooke. These characters are working and driving the story.
