    RECAP EPISODE OF ANOTHER WORLD
    The takeover of Cory Publishing –
    Rachel and Amanda hired Allen Lovett, who has been working with Reginald Love to force Rachel to sell Cory Publishing. It was also revealed that Iris, Rachel’s ex-stepdaughter, was masterminding the whole takeover from prison. As part of the plan, Reginald got Iris’s release hearing moved up quickly, so there was no time for Rachel and Cass to form a strategy. Rachel decided not to testify against Iris to keep her incarcerated, so Iris was released. Allen has been leaking information to Reginald about the sale of Cory Publishing. Rachel got wind of it and Allen was arrested for corporate espionage. Allen did not count on developing feelings for Amanda. Rachel has decided to sell due to declining financial standing and growing debt. Who will she sell it to?
    Michele’s death
    The McKinnons suffered a great loss when Michele McKinnon died as a result of injuries due to being struck by a car. Bridget, her twin sister, schemed against her to make her jealous. Bridget stole vodka out of Reginald’s cabinet, brought it to the prom, and spiked Cory’s drink. Bridget kissed Cory Hutchins and Michele saw them. As Vicky, Jake, and Reginald arrived, Bridget and Michele’s fight went on to the street, where Michele stumbled and was struck by an oncoming vehicle. After her heartfelt goodbye, Vicky has banished Bridget from the house, and this has caused a major rift between her and Jake. Will their marriage survive?
    Grant’s shooting/Sharlene’s memories
    Grant was shot while announcing his candidacy for Senate some years ago, and Sharlene saw the shooter. This same person also killed Joe Carlino, which brought Frankie Frame back to town. Frankie vows to find who killed Joe, who was a good friend of hers. Sharlene does not remember the person who committed the crimes, but her memories have slowly been returning, much to the dismay of Grant, John, and the perpetrator. Sharlene was seeing Dr. Taylor to help unlock these memories. Grant knows who shot him. He did to win sympathy votes. Reginald and Iris also know about Grant’s scheme, and the person who shot him. John and Grant implored Dr. Taylor not to allow Sharlene to uncover these memories. Apparently, neither did the perpetrator, because Dr. Taylor was found dead in his office. Toni Burrell returned to investigate his murder, and learned Sharlene’s notes and Dr. Taylor were both missing, and she deduced that Sharlene is in danger. They also learned the shell casing from the bullet that killed Dr. Taylor is the same from the day Grant was shot. Toni feared that the killer will come after Sharlene. Will the killer get to Sharlene?
    OTHERS
    Grant and Paulina agreed to go to dinner together.
    Bridget is coming between Dante and Elizabeth’s relationship.
    Mitch and Felicia are getting married.
    Cameron Sinclair was held at gunpoint to sign divorce papers, ending his marriage to Amanda.
    Iris tried to poison Cory and Elizabeth’s minds against Rachel.
    Gregory became paralyzed after his car accident. An indirect result of his steroid abuse. Lindsay Winthrop, Cass’s niece, is his physical therapist.
    Charlie returned after flunking out of school, and she resents Frankie for staying away for a number of years.
    Tyrone and Marley had problems in the beginning, but he and Donna have dealt with temptation, which seems to be growing, and Allen has photos of his brother Tyrone and Donna is positions of temptation.

    GRANT’S HOUSE (THE DOOR IS AJAR)
    Grant is on the phone with his assistant.
    Grant: Have you got my speech ready for the announcement? (beat) Good.
    Paulina walks in and knocks lightly.
    Grant: I can’t wait until then. Bay City won’t know what hit em.
    Grant hangs up and Paulina walks up to him.
    Paulina: Is that right Mr. Harrison? I guess I better get ready huh?
    Grant (putting his arms around Paulina’s waist): Yes I think you’d better.
    Paulina: What’s the big announcement?
    Grant: I might as well give you a preview…since you are special to me.
    Paulina: Special huh?
    Grant: Yes.
    They kiss.
    Grant: I’m making it at the Center tomorrow.
    Paulina: Are you talking about your announcement?
    Grant: I’m running for mayor of Bay City.
    Paulina: Wow. Really? Against whom?
    Grant: I have no idea yet.
    Paulina: You know what. I’m thirsty. I’m gonna get some water.


    Grant: Help yourself.

    Kirkland is on the phone.
    Kirkland: I don’t want anybody to know until tomorrow what I’m planning. (beat) Just make sure that everything is set up.
    Charlie walks up and overhears.
    Kirkland: My father has no idea what’s gonna happen, and that’s why I pay you to be my campaign manager. You’re gonna keep it a secret.
    Kirkland hangs up, turns around, and faces Charlie.
    Kirkland: Charlie. Hey.
    Charlie: I can’t believe this.
    Kirkland: What are you talking about?
    Charlie: You’re plotting against your father aren’t you?

    Jake sits at his desk and thinks about the happy times with Vicky, and lo and behold, Vicky walks in, shuts and locks the door.
    Jake: Vicky what are you doing here?
    Vicky: Nobody’s leaving here until we resolve this mess.

    ST CROIX HOSPITAL
    Carl shoves the police disguise underneath his bed, and reads the piece of paper that he has.
    Carl: Cause of death…asphyxiation. Gunshot wound to the abdomen. When I find out who did this to my son, they’re gonna pay, but I gotta find my Rachel. I gotta get to Rachel, and my other children.
    MEANWHILE…
    Rachel and Frankie walk up to the room where Carl is staying.
    Frankie: Let me go in…and make sure everything is okay.
    Rachel: Frankie it might be dangerous.
    Frankie: No…I don’t think so.
    Frankie walks into the room…and sees Carl.
    Carl: Oh my goodness…Frankie?
    Frankie (smiling): You’re up and about?
    Carl: Yes I’m fine. Come here. Give your father a hug!

    Jake: A mess you created.
    Vicky: Because I was trying to tell you that Bridget was jealous of Michele.

    Vicky: So am I. That’s why I’m here. I don’t want our marriage to end Jake. We’ve been through too much to get here. We raised two boys, and we had two beautiful daughters.
    Jake: Don’t you think I know that? I think about it all the time. I think about….Michele.
    Vicky (eyes welling up): So do I. I miss her. I miss her every single day.
    Jake: She was so smart. So beautiful. I was looking forward to beating the guys off of her.
    Vicky: Except for Cory Hutchins.
    Jake: He’s a very upright kid. Just the kind of guy I would have wanted my daughter to be with.
    Vicky: Yeah.
    Jake: I had no idea…how much she held us together.
    Vicky: We will never forget her, but we’ve still got Bridget…Steven and Kirkland.
    Jake: What about us? What about our marriage?
    Vicky: We’ve still got that, too. After everything we’ve gone through Jake, in my heart I love you. Always have, and always will, and I know you feel that same way.
    Jake: Never stopped.
    They embrace each other and kiss.
    Jake: But it doesn’t mean that we still don’t have issues…that we need to fix.
    Vicky: I agree.

    Rachel covers her mouth in disbelief…and Carl can’t believe his eyes.
    Carl: My darling!
    Rachel: Come here!
    They both embrace with a joyful Frankie watching.
    Rachel: You’re definitely not an impostor.
    Rachel kisses Carl repeatedly on his face.
    Meanwhile, one of his doctors looks at them unseen and is on his cell phone...with GRANT.
    DOCTOR: He’s up and about. He’s with Rachel.

    Tyrone is in the living room wearing sweatpants and a white A-shirt as he looks over some papers…and Marley walks in.
    Marley: Hi.
    Tyrone: Hey babe.
    Marley: What are you doing?
    Tyrone: Going over Allen’s case. His hearing is coming up soon.
    Marley: Oh my. How’s it looking?
    Tyrone (smiling): Now you know I can’t tell you that baby.
    Tyrone gently kisses her on her cheek.
    Marley: There’s something I need to ask you.
    Tyrone: I will make the bed as soon as I’m done. I know it’s my turn today.
    Marley: Although that would be very nice, that’s not what I was going to ask you.
    Tyrone: Okay, well what is it?
    Marley: I was wondering you would consider letting Allen live here until he found his own place.
    Tyrone: What? Absolutely not.
    Marley: Tyrone he’s your brother and my cousin. He’s family. Is this how you treat him?
    Tyrone: Allen got himself mixed up in this mess with Reginald and Cory Publishing.
    Marley: And you know why he was doing it. He was trying to protect his mother.
    Tyrone: He had his own reasons why he agreed to be a mole.

    Dennis, Jr: I wanna come live with you. I’m tired of all the curfews and chores.
    Iris: Well, Dennis is your father and you have to abide by their rules. If you come to live with me, there will be rules you have to follow honey.
    Dennis, Jr.: It’s almost like jail.
    Iris: It can’t be that bad.
    Dennis, Jr: Clean your room, mow the lawn, walk the dog. My goodness. I can’t take it grandma. Sarah comes by every now and then and helps but I gotta do it all.
    Iris: How is Sarah?
    Dennis, Jr.: Her opinion about you is the same as dad’s.
    Iris (saddened): Oh, but at least you and I are keeping in touch.
    Dennis, Jr.: Dad’s not gonna stop me from talking to you.

    Stacey: I remember you when you were practically a baby. You’ve grown up.

    Lindsay: Hey I’m gonna have a talk with my mom.

    They kiss on the lips and as Greg leaves, Stacey takes his place at the table.

    Stacey: We have to talk Lindsay.

    Tyrone: It’s no excuse for the way he’s turned out.
    Marley: I lost so many years with my sister, and you grew up with your brother, and you don’t want him in the same house with you!
    Tyrone: He’s got you fooled doesn’t he? He’s not the good hearted that he portrays himself to be.
    Marley: He’s never had a sense of family and I’m not gonna turn my back on him.
    Tyrone: So you’re willing to help Allen even if I don’t want you to? Even if causes problems between us?
    Marley: That’s not fair.
    Tyrone: I can’t believe what I’m hearing right now.
    Tyrone gets up and Marley is surprised.
    Marley: Where are you going?

    Iris: I was just on the phone with Dennis, Jr.
    Amanda: Your grandson. How is he?
    Iris: He’s okay. I’m touched that you would ask about him.
    Amanda: Why wouldn’t I? He’s family.
    Iris: He’s Mac’s great-grandson. I know this isn’t a social call though.
    Amanda: I need your signature.
    Iris: For what?
    Amanda: A second person to contest the sale of daddy’s company.
    Iris: As if you had to ask that question.
    Iris signs the papers and Amanda takes them.
    Amanda: I’ll file these with the court tomorrow. Mom’s not gonna be too happy when she gets them. We’re gonna get controlling interest back in the family.
    Amanda leaves.
    Iris: No Amanda, I’M gonna get controlling interest of Cory Publishing.

    Lindsay receives an email on her phone and it’s the DNA test results.
    Lindsay: It’s true…Jake McKinnon is my father.

    AT THE CENTER…
    Toni and KC are sitting at a table.  KC sips her latte.
    KC:  You know I had a great date the other day.
    Toni:  With Eric Stenbeck?
    KC:  Yeah.
    Toni:  Oh…great.
    KC:  But?
    Toni:  Nothing.
    KC:  Is it because he’s James Stenbeck’s and Christy Carson’s son?  
    Toni:  His DNA is questionable but that doesn’t mean anything.
    KC:  It wasn’t his idea to crash Kirkland and Charlie’s wedding reception.  It was Christy’s.
    Toni:  I don’t care whose idea it was.  I just think you should take things slow because you don’t know him.
    KC:  We’ve been talking for a few weeks, of course I don’t know him yet.
    Toni:  Look I’mma keep it real.  There’s something about him that isn’t right, and I don’t want you to get hurt.
    KC:  Eric is cool, and I like him.  Nothing is gonna happen to me.
    Toni:  That’s what you say now.
    KC:  Come on Toni, have a little faith in me.

    Allen walks in, and accosts Eric, who is wiping down a table.

    Allen grabs Eric and escorts him to a corner of the shop.
    Eric:  What is this about?
    Allen:  It’s about you and KC.  I don’t think she should be seeing you.
    Eric:  Well isn’t that a choice that she has to make?
    Allen:  You got a smart ass mouth don’t you?  
    Allen gets directly in Eric’s face, as Eric is backed up against the wall.
    Allen:  I don’t know what you and your sociopathic, demented mother are up to, but I’ll be damned if KC gets dragged down with you.  If my daughter gets hurt, you gon deal with me, and trust me my man, that’s not something you want.

    AT KIRKLAND’S SUITE…
    Charlie is changing purses in the common area as Kirkland walks out from their bedroom.
    Kirkland:  I made...reservations for us at Tops...tonight.
    Charlie:  What time?
    Kirkland:  Eight o’clock.
    Charlie:  Okay.
    Charlie focuses as she continues to take her things out of one purse and place them into another.
    Kirkland:  I’m looking forward to it.
    Charlie:  Yep.
    Charlie walks past Kirkland to the closet...
    Charlie:  Can’t find my pink lip gloss.
    Kirkland:  Babe did you hear anything that I said?
    Charlie:  Yeah.
    Kirkland:  Come on, you mean to tell me you’re still mad about what happened at the coffee shop?
    Charlie:  Dogs get mad Kirkland, unless you’re trying to call me a bitch.
    Charlie gets a shoe box out and sifts through it.
    Charlie:  Here it is.
    She walks back to her purse and puts the lip gloss in it.
    Kirkland:  Charlie can you stop for a minute and talk to me?
    Charlie:  What is it?  
    Kirkland:  I can’t believe you’re freezing me out because of Eric Stenbeck.

    Toni:  What did you do?
    Allen:  Nothing a father wouldn’t do for his daughter.
    KC:  What did you say to him?
    Allen:  He’s shady, KC, and if it were up to me you’d be seeing somebody else.
    KC:  I’m glad you realize that because it’s not up to either of you.  I’m a grown woman.
    Toni:  Grown people make mistakes.
    KC:  You two need to let it go.  So what he and his mother crashed Kirkland and Charlie’s wedding?  It wasn’t even his idea!
    Toni:  Keep your voice down.
    KC:  No!  I’m gonna continue to see Eric whether you two like it or not.
    Allen:  You need to get out of it before you get too deep.  He’s gonna hurt you.  He’s got some kind of agenda.
    KC:  Y’all didn’t hear me did you?  I am going to date Eric, and that’s it!
    KC gets up and leaves.
    Toni:  Don’t walk away from me!
    Allen:  Let her go.  Maybe she’ll cool off and come to her senses.
    Toni:  Not happening.  She’s is more stubborn than a mule.  I don’t need this.  I gotta plan detail for the party at the Corys.
    Allen:  It’s like she’s driving ninety miles an hour and she doesn’t see the brick wall she’s gonna hit if she gets any deeper with him.
    Meanwhile, Eric is at the door of the coffee shop, secretly watching Toni and Allen.

    AT STACEY’S…
    Lindsay and Charlie are sitting on the living room couch each with their legs folded, eating ice cream…
    Lindsay:  Oh cousin you sure know how to make a gal feel better.
    Charlie:  Nothing like a good ole pint of butter pecan.
    Lindsay:  Yummy.  I’m so happy you came.  You’ve really cheered me up.
    Charlie:  Yeah...right.
    Lindsay:  What’s wrong cuz?
    Charlie (sighing):  It’s Kirkland.
    Lindsay:  You seem down...you wanna talk about it?
    Charlie:  We’re fighting over Eric Stenbeck.
    Lindsay:  You mean the guy who came with Christy Carson to your wedding reception uninvited.
    Charlie:  I saw him arguing with his mother in the coffee shop the other day.  He insisted it wasn’t his idea, and the more I talk to him, the more I see that he’s not like Christy.  Kirkland doesn’t see it that way.
    Lindsay:  You probably gotta see it from his perspective.  I think he’s just trying to protect you.
    Charlie:  He’s overreacting.  
    Lindsay:  Given what Christy did to your parents I could actually understand it.
    Charlie:  But it doesn’t mean that Eric is gonna do the same thing.  You know what...this visit isn’t about me, it’s about you.  I’m sorry.  I’m supposed to be cheering you up and here I am talking about a disagreement with my husband.  
    Lindsay:  Don’t apologize.  This is helping me more than you’d ever know.  We’re family right?  You know what, let’s get outta here.  I can’t go back to work because I’m on leave, and I’m tired of being cooped up in this house.
    Charlie: Are you sure?
    Lindsay:  Yeah.  Let me take a quick shower and we’ll be on our way.  You know maybe you need to talk to your parents about Christy, and you’ll probably understand why Kirkland is so adamant about Eric.

    Kirkland is set to leave the suite but he is distracted by a text on his phone from Scott Granger, Jr. from Genoa City.
    Scott:  hey sexy married guy.  hru
    Kirkland:  what’s up Scotty
    Scott:  hey i gotta tell u something.  u know the guy at the GCAC?
    Kirkland:  who?
    Scott:  the bartender you slept with.  i heard he’s HIV+.  U should get tested.  just thought id tell u.  ttyl.
    Kirkland is horrified.
    Kirkland:  No...no this can’t be happening.
    Suddenly, Kirkland hears a familiar voice.
    Voice:  Yes it can.
    Kirkland turns around and is shocked to see Ryan wearing a collared plaid shirt, blue jeans and boots.
    Kirkland:  Uncle Ryan?  Why am I seeing you right now?
    Ryan:  Because your lie is getting out of control.
    Kirkland:  What are you talking about?  Wait a minute, aren’t angels dressed in white?
    Ryan:  Not this time, and don’t try to change the subject.
    Kirkland:  I’m scared man.  I’m so scared.
    Ryan:  That text?
    Kirkland:  I only slept with the guy to get info on my father.  I wasn’t in love with him or anything.
    Ryan:  But you were in love with Scott Granger right?
    Kirkland:  Yeah I was.  Why are you bringing all this up?  I’m married to Charlie.
    Ryan:  And you haven’t even told her about your past.
    Kirkland:  I can’t do that.  I’d lose her forever.  
    Ryan:  You’re not giving her enough credit.  You’re not trusting in your love.
    Kirkland:  I’m scared Uncle Ryan.  The guy I slept with is HIV positive.  What if I....?
    Ryan:  There’s only one way to find out right?  You’re gonna have to go get tested.
    Kirkland:  What if I infected Charlie?  I could never live with myself.
    Ryan:  Did you use protection when you slept with that guy?
    Kirkland:  Yeah but condoms aren’t foolproof.  Sometimes they break.
    Ryan:  Kid..stop panicking.  Go get an HIV test.  
    Kirkland:  This day has come straight from hell, no pun intended.
    Ryan:  That’s because you’re lying to her.  When you tell the truth, you’re gonna feel much better.
    Kirkland:  Her parents are gonna kill me, especially Cass.

Nathaniel Richardson Consultants:  Alex Beeby, ML Cooks, Nick Monarco, DRW50   AT THE HOSPITAL John and Brianna go into the staff locker room. John:  You’re a real pro in there. Brianna:  I’ve delivered babies before.  It’s always a joy to see the families happy.  The mother having a baby; the father right there with her.  Must be nice. John:  I wasn’t there when Gregory was born.  Sharlene gave birth to our son in a shed. Brianna:  Wow.   John:  Taylor Benson delivered him actually after she...never mind. Brianna:  No tell me.  What did Taylor Benson do?   John:  I...don’t really wanna get into that. Brianna:  Oh um.  Ok.   Brianna starts feeling around in her pockets. John:  Looks like you lost something. Brianna:  Yeah I...can’t find my badge.  Maybe I dropped it somewhere. John:  Well go to a computer and log in.  If someone tries to use it, it will tell you where it was scanned.  Hopefully someone will return it. ------------------------------------------------------------ Tyrone wheels Marley in a wheelchair to the nursery.  They look through the glass at their baby in a bassinet labeled “Roman Montgomery” on the outside.  Donna, Michael and Vicky join them. Marley:  Look at him Tyrone.  He’s so tiny.  So innocent. Tyrone:  Our son. Donna looks at Michael. Donna:  And our grandson. Marley:  Have you called your mother? Tyrone:  She and Etta Mae are on their way. Marley:  He’s a miracle.  I thought I was never gonna be able to have children.  I’m gonna shower all the love I have on him. Tyrone:  He looks like a sports enthusiast. Marley:  We will love our son whatever he wants to be. Michael:  He’s got a large family behind him. Donna:  Where’s everyone else?  Where are the twins?  Where’s  Kirkland and Victoria?  I’m gonna go see where they are. ------------------------------------- Bridget and Michele are in the waiting area...quiet.  Each girl has her arms folded.  Bridget is sitting in a chair while Michele is sitting on the right arm of the couch closest to the glass door.  Michele looks at Bridget, rolls her eyes and gets up. Michele:  I’m gonna go see how Aunt Marley’s doing. Bridget:  No you’re not.  You’re gonna look for something to cut yourself with and blame it on me. Michele:  You can’t stop being a bitch for two seconds can you? Bridget:  Maybe after what you did tonight everyone will see that I was right about you.  You need help. Michele turns around and walks slowly toward Bridget.  Bridget gets up as if to prepare for another fight. Michele:  If you want a replay of what happened at the Corys I’m game, because I should have done it a long time ago.  I’ll be more than happy to beat the bitchiness out of you. Bridget:  You think some fisticuffs is gonna change anything?  I still have Cory, and dad and grandpa think you’re crazy, too. Michele:  Really?  After everything you’ve done, mom still supports me.  I’ve always been mom’s favorite daughter.  You’ve always been the black sheep; the outsider; the screw-up. Bridget:  Shut your mouth! Michele:  Deep down, dad knows it, too.  Mom knows what you’ve done, and sees you for the conniving little skank that you are, and that you’ll always be. Bridget:  You crazy bitch! Before they can start another physical fight, Kirkland races in and manages to get between them. Kirkland:  No!  Not here!  You two can’t stay in a room alone without wanting to kill each other? Michele:  Your bitch sister provoked me again! Kirkland:  Bridget why don’t you go the nursery and see our little cousin. Bridget:  But… Kirkland:  Go! Bridget looks at the both of them and walks out in disgust. Kirkland:  When are you two gonna stop? Michele:  It’s all her fault!  Wait til mom hears about what Bridget said. Kirkland:  You’re not gonna tell mom anything about this. Michele:  What do you mean? Kirkland:  Both of you need counseling.  You gotta let this go. You gotta stop being so angry. ------------------------------------------------------- Vicky walks up to Steven. Vicky:  How’s Rachel? Steven:  I left a message on her voicemail. Vicky:  I know the rest of her family’s there.  Did you call your dad? Steven:  Not yet.  It’s still pretty late there. Vicky:  Listen I’m...I’m sorry about the way I’ve behaved… Steven:  But? Vicky:  But what? Steven:  You still don’t approve of Joy being in my life. Vicky:  No I can’t. Steven:  That’s too bad isn’t it? Vicky:  That girl is a homewrecker!  I cannot just sit here and watch this happen.  She is going to destroy you. Steven:  She was only eighteen years old when she had the affair with Tyrone.  You are still holding her past against her.  What if somebody held your past against you?  What she did before doesn’t stop me from… Steven stops as he, and Vicky, realize something. Vicky:  Oh my God.  You’ve fallen for her haven’t you?  You’re in love with her. Steven gets a text.  He looks on his phone.  The text is from Joy. Joy(text):  I’m home.   Steven (return text):  Good.  Thank you for being with me tonight.  I love you. ----------------------------------- MEANWHILE, Joy walks around the corner on the same floor.  She looks around to see if anyone sees her, and slips into a room.  She then gets a text from Steven.  She looks at her phone a bit jolted.  Steven’s declaration has taken her aback.  She takes a deep breath and texts back. Joy:  I love you, too. Joy looks around and sees scrubs.  Joy is not home.  She is in a hospital supply closet as she has a flashback: (EPISODE 174) Reginald:  Joy Joy Joy. Joy:  Did you do it? Reginald:  The antidote?    Joy:  Thomasina said she’s feeling better. Reginald:  Yes I called and they gave her the antidote. Joy:  Then we’re even. Reginald:  No we’re not.  I can get to her whenever I want. Joy:  So what does that mean?  What else do you want me to do? Reginald:  I don’t have to tell you.  I want to raise the next patriarch of my family, and you’re going to get him. Joy:  Where the hell am I supposed to get...no.  You can’t make me do that. Reginald:  You don’t want Thomasina to get sick again do you?  Get me my great grandson. Joy flashes back to the present and she notices Brianna’s hospital badge on the floor, and she picks it up. Joy:  I’m so sorry Steven but I have to do this. CAMERA PAN ON JOY...SLOW FADE TO THEME SONG.   ---------------------------------------------------- PART 2 MARLEY’S ROOM Marley lies in the bed.  Michael is sitting at her bedside. Marley:  I don’t think I can get any happier than I am now. Michael:  You’re very lucky. Marley:  I am...very lucky.  Lucky to have a husband who loves me; lucky to still have my parents; Vicky, Allen, all of you. Michael:  Your grandfather didn’t allow us to have this type of moment when you and Victoria were born. Marley:  Don’t bring him up.  Happy thoughts.  Happy memories. Michael:  Of course.  The birth of your child is something you’re always gonna remember. Marley:  And that you came back.  We all thought you were dead, but you fought your way back to us.  I’m so glad you’re here dad. Michael clenches Marley’s right hand. Michael:  There’s nowhere else I’d rather be. ---------------------------------------------- OUTSIDE MARLEY’S ROOM Allen is talking to Tyrone. Allen:  Look at you man. Tyrone:  Yeah.  I got a son.  My boy Roman.  I mean this is just the icing on the cake.  All this time we thought Marley couldn’t get pregnant.  Just miraculous. Allen:  I know.  I’m just...glad I can be here to share this with you bro. Tyrone:  Thank you.   Allen:  For what? Tyrone:  You helped me to realize that my anger was misplaced.  Our father is the one I was really mad at.   Allen:  You can’t be too mad.  He raised you.  What was he like? Tyrone:  Typical dad I guess.  Be a man.  Don’t show any emotions.   Allen:  I didn’t get to spend hardly any time with him.  You did.  That’s why I’m so insistent on being in KC’s life.  Our dad wasn’t there for me. Tyrone:  I ain’t sending my boy off to no boarding school.  I’m gonna be there for him.  I’m taking him to all his games; to all his practices.  Whatever he wants to do.  I’m gonna support him.  I will never give up on my son. Allen:  I know, cuz I ain’t gonna let you.  He’s my nephew you know? Tyrone:  You know what’s so great about this, too? Allen:  What’s that? Tyrone:  I got my brother with me. Allen:  I got you. They hug and Donna and KC walk up to them. KC:  Look at this.  My dad and my uncle Tyrone….bonding. Donna:  I called my sister.  She told me the good news. Allen:  I’ve had a good night. Donna:  I can’t find Victoria or the girls.  Have you seen them? Tyrone:  No.  I heard about what happened between Michele and Bridget.   Donna:  Let’s hope that doesn’t happen again. ----------------------------------------------- Michele:  So what’s the matter?  You think I’m crazy, too? Kirkland:  Getting help doesn’t mean you’re ill.  It means you need to get rid of this anger you’ve got. Michele:  I’m sure you’ve heard what she did. Kirkland:  I know what happened.  She was devastated, hurt, and could hardly forgive herself when we thought you were dead.  She felt really down about losing you. Michele:  She’s got me, and the only she can act toward me is bitchy. Kirkland:  You both are doing it to each other.  Serve and volley.   Michele:  You’re comparing us to tennis. Kirkland:  Come on.  I can’t stand to see my little sisters fighting all the time.  Can you at least consider it? Michele:  Getting help?  I don’t need any help.  She’s the one who needs it.  Mom’s on my side. ------------------------------------------------- Vicky:  Who was that?  Joy? Steven:  I told her to text me when she got home. Vicky:  I’m gonna see about Marley. Steven:  Mom.   Vicky:  What is it? Steven:  I love you. Vicky smiles as her eyes well up. Vicky:  I love you, too my firstborn child.   Steven:  Let’s go see about Aunt Marley. Vicky:  Good idea. --------------------------------------------- The Love/Hudsons surround Marley who is lying in her bed. Marley:  Would you look at this?  It means so much to have all of you here. Vicky:  We got a little one to look after now. Donna:  He’s gonna have a hell of a time being a part of this family. ---------------------------------------------- MEANWHILE, Bridget stands at the glass of the nursery, and watches her cousin Roman in his bassinet.   Bridget:  Are you sure you wanna be part of this family Roman?  Your cousin Michele is crazy. As Bridget walks away, Joy, dressed in blue hospital scrubs, with a mask over her nose and mouth, scans Brianna’s stolen badge into the nursery, walks over to and stands over Roman Montgomery’s bassinet.
