  16. On another board the subject of Anthony George's (Tony Vincente) acting has been discussed. What did you think of his acting while he was SFT?
  17. I do not know the exact timeline, but CBS cancelled SFT. And Brian Frons was the exec at CBS who stated that SFT was a "dinosaur." So, he ended up cancelling the show twice!
  18. Marcy was Tony Vincente's first wife. She had money and power which she used to put Tony through medical school. Their marriage was an unhappy one and Marcy faked her paralysis in order to hold on to him. Anne Revere played Agnes Lake who served as the Vincentes' housekeeper as well as Marcy's nurse. One day, Agnes saw Marcy up and walking about the living room. Agnes threatened to tell Tony and Marcy attacked her with a fireplace poker. Once Agnes regained consciousness, she told all to Tony. Tony then divorced Marcy and proposed marriage to Jo Tate. Marcy was played by Jeannie Carson who was born and raised in England, thus her accent.

  20. It was ten years ago today that Mary Stuart passed away.
  21. In the flashback scenes that Andrea had during the trial featured Hal Linden as Larry Carter, the other man. I remember reading that Hal said he and Joan Copeland taped those scenes during a weekend. The show used the scenes several times after the trial because he got residual checks for several years after he had taped them.

  24. Wade was kidnapped because Allen needed money fast to pay off his stockbroker after his wealthy dying wife disinherited him after discovering his affair with Fay. They were going to let Wade go after getting the ransom money from Janet. Wade got loose just before Allen and Fay came in to let him go. A drunken bum came by. Fay shot Wade and the bum in order to keep from getting found out. They tried to set it up so the bum got blamed for the kidnapping and murder. Allen was the coroner and fabricated evidence to show powder burns on victims' hands. Amy Kaslo did the tests on Wade and the bum's hands and did not find powder burns. Allen told Amy that she did not have enough experience to find the burns. Amy, Bruce Carson and Gary Walton became suspicious and investigated further. They found the money in Allen's golf bag and Fay tried to kill Janet before being caught by Gary and the police.
