Just watched Michael & Lauren's wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony. They need to bring back the colonnade room (unless it's gone forever) because the church weddings don't do it for me anymore. I found it so odd that Lauren didn't want Paul to tell her anything about 'Jennifer' before her wedding and why she isn't more suspicious of this woman. Nikki is an absolute BITCH to Ashley during that scene at the colonnade room regarding Abby and her supposedly 'poisoning her mind about Victoria'. Nikki can take several seats

Brad and Sharon was such a flop. I always thought they were a good couple until I started rewatching these episodes again. Nick and Phyllis however were a million times worse. Phick should have remained an affair. Dru and Neil handled Devon and his relationship with Yolanda really well! Dru obviously started to get a bit jealous when that bitch started getting a bit too close to HER son and her man. Don't get me wrong, Devon should have his birth mother in his life too but she gave up those rights a long time ago and I just feel like Dru is his mother now. Was Kevin obsessed with Mac or something? That whole thing just seemed so damn creepy. JT and Mac was nauseating too though. I also don't like this actress who plays Mackenzie I forgot that Michael & Lauren were front burner during this time. This must have been their last BIG story unless you want to count the Carmine thing. I wish they could have found a way to give Tom and Sheila a more perminant role on the show. Those two had so much chemistry

Is it terrible that I'm secretly rooting for Sheila and Tom? Their plan to kidnap Lauren and hold her for ransom so they can escape to a tropical island has me at the edge of my seat. I love Lauren and all but I'll hate to see Sheila go down because she is so much better on top and scheming! Gloria clashing with Joanna was funny! When was the last time Joanna has showed her face in Genoa city since then? Has she come back at all? Even when Lauren found out she was related to Jill? I can't really remember.

The episodes leading up to Dru's fall were so fun to watch but I stopped once I knew what was going to happen next because it becomes so dark and depressing. Dru & Sharon's beef with Phyllis was perfection. That friendship and rivalry was cut way too short

just watched November 21st and 22nd. Tom was such a great villain and SO creepy in his scenes with Ashley. He was obsessed with her! It gave me chills when he came into the Abbott house where John, Gloria and Ashley were talking and spied on them. I liked how Gloria was written at this time. I know some people found her unbearable as she was so heavily featured but I did find her backstory with Tom the abusive husband really fascinating and laid out some good ground work for the character. They just don't develop characters like that anymore. It makes me sad

I have all episodes from 2011 to present, so if YouTube doesn't block them, I'd be happy to upload them for you. That is fabulous thank you Sheila was deliciously evil in those scenes, and I LOVED the music they played it was freaky as hell. Soap operas are most interesting when the have an element of horror to it! I think 2005 was the last good year Y&R had. I really wasn't a fan of how many of Sharon's scenes involved Brad even though I admired how Brad believed in Sharon in a way Nick didn't.

I know these aren't exactly 'classic' shows but I was wondering if anyone had 2011 sometime around Sharon's funeral. I wasn't watching during that time and missed that whole storyline. I know it was a stupid plot but I would be curious to watch simply for SC

(Nov 2005) Sheila was scary as hell! I loved the guy who played Tom too, they made an interesting team. Poor Lauren was so oblivious to what was going on.. I see Jill was on a lot more back then. She was heavily involved in Jabot working with Kay, Jack and Phyllis. I really enjoyed Jill interacting with Phyllis. I think this was a bit before Phyllis became completely insufferable. The Sharon and Abby bond was always so adorable. I hate that the show doesn't acknowledge that now. Sharon was obviously clinging to Abby more because of Cassie's death, and the fact that it made Victoria so jealous was hilarious. Nikki always seemed really jealous about Victors connection to Abby, or maybe it had more to do with Ashley but she came across as very shrewish

Nathan tells Melanie to back off At The Black Penthouse, Nicole's Room: Jason and Nicole just finished making love, Nicole says that was amazing and askx him if he lives around here, he looks familier! Jason says hes a doctor at the Salem Hospital. Nicole realizes that she seen him at the hospital. Out of no where, Nicole asks him how he knows Vivian Alamain! Jason is taken back and doesn't know that to say, he then tells her that he used to to work for her.. Nicle laughs and says that it sounded like he was being blackmailed or something. Jason gets nervous and says he has to go, Nicole tells him thats crazy and he can stay.. maybe she can get to know him better since hes gonna be sticking around. Jason says that he has seen her around with Brady Black..do they know eachother? Nicole tells him that they were in a relationship but things didn't work out with them.. Jason asks what happened, Nicole tells him its nothing..she really doesn't wanna talk about it. Jason asks if they just broke up, Nicole says they did and earlier at the pub she just had to get her mind off things so she bumped into him! Jason says goodbye to Nicole and leaves; Nicole tells herself that she needs to start moving on with her life, because theres more to her life then just Brady. At Daniel & Chloe's Place, livingroom: Chloe is shocked to learn that Carly changed the DNA test! Carly tells her that she didn't want her to freak out and do something stupid..and the whole point of her and Daniel being happy together would be for the baby to not be Philip; Chloe knows this but wonders what Carly was thinking, was she just planning on keeping the baby daddy a secret! Carly says yes, and it was stupid..but she realizes now that she needed to know. Chloe asks Carly what are they gonna do now? Carly tells Chloe that they next time she sees Daniel, she has to tell him the truth! Chloe says fine, shes right..its the only way things are gonna go her way is if shes honest. Suddenly, Daniel enters from work and hugs Chloe.. he asks her why shes shaking? Chloe tells Daniel that he might wanna sit down, she has something huge to tell him.. Daniel tells Chloe that she looks like its urgant, Carly tells them she will let them talk in private. Chloe yells for Carly to stay, she has to be here. Carly says fine and stays. Daniel tells Chloe to spit it out, what does she have to tell him? Chloe tells him that hes never gonna forgive him after he hears what shes has to say! At The Hospital, Desk: Nathan is working and Stephanie shows up and gives him cookies she made, Nathan thanks her and didn't realize she could make homemade cookies. Nathan apoligizes to Stephanie, he forgot he had another shift to do today.. Stephanie says its okay. Melanie comes around the corner and says hi to them, she asks them if they have seen Philip? he was supposed to come by, Nathan and Stephanie say they havn't. Stephanie gets text message from Adrienne, She tells her that she wanted her to come spend the day with her. Stephanie tells Nathan she has to go but she will see him when he finishes work. Stephanie kisses Nathan and she walks off. Melanie asks Nathan if he ever gets time to spend with Stephanie with they're busy scheduals. Nathan tells Melanie that its none of her business, he doesn't ask her questions about Philip. Melanie asks Nathan why hes being for guarded, shes asking him as a friend. Nathan tells Melanie to back off away from his and Stephanie's relationship! Melanie says fine and tells him shes going, she walks off. Nathan asks himself if Melanie will always be an obsticle in his and Stephanie's relationship. At The Kiriakis Mansion, Livingroom: Stephanie shows up and hugs Adrienne, she asks her if something is wrong? Adrienne tells her that she just wanted to spend time with her niece, Stephanie hugs her. Adrienne asks her how things are with Nathan, Stephanie says that things are getting a bit better..shes starting to feel like they can finally get past Melanie being in there lives and they can surive as a couple. Adrienne is proud of Stephanie and asks her if she has finally accepted that Nathan loves her and not Melanie? Stephanie thinks so, after all he is with her! Stephanie asks Adrienne if she has talked to Hope lately, did she already go to court? Adrienne says she has and she got the death penalty.. Stephanie is shocked and didn't think Hope was the type of person to do those crimes, Adrienne agrees and says that her best friend wouldn't do something like that.. she was taking sleeping pills with crazy side effects, that was the only reason. Stephanie asks her if she really buys that? does she thinks that maybe Hope just lost it and coupldn't handle the stress anymore?
