Here are the LA ladies at new cast member Brooke Bailey's birthday party
Brooke is former jump off of NBA player Rashad Lewis.
Gloria also said of course there will be drama but not to the childish levels of the Miami cast.
There is so much giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirl in that picture it cannot be properly articulated.

Recast alert! The role of Evelyn's lapdog, will now be played by Crooks

Hopefully Evelyn will leave now that she's a football wife.
Jennifer dropped her lawsuit against that thing Nia. Nia issued a statement saying Jennifer only filed it to maintain her dwindling relevance on the show and that she's looking forward to continuing her career? What career? Evelyn's lapdog?
Rumor is that Nia's joining the show next season so we shall see...

Nope! Trust me when that moment comes you will KNOW what I mean. I wont spoil it for you but its definetly one of the most bizarre moments in the series and Taylor completely over the top with her schemes
I remember on the VH1 special they did on the show they showed that moment as the "decline" of the show, and I was a little defensive because it was one of the few entertaining moments of that interminable season.

Gloria tweeted that they just started filming Season 2 of BBWLA. Draya said on twitter she is returning and Jackie has been confirmed as returning.
Hope they got rid of useless Imani.
And Laura's fiancee said she can use his name on the show now lol... I guess bc they're together. And she has lost some weight she looks better now.
Good; I was wondering when they were coming back. It seems really late though, especially since it started to beat the original BBW in the ratings near the end. Once it turned from everyone vs. Draya to everyone vs. Jackie it got way more entertaining and fun to watch.

When Passions was doing its early casting, Kimberly Simms auditioned for a role (not sure which one).
The only two roles I could have seen her playing would have been Grace or Ivy.

How long was Joan D'Incecco the casting director?
I don't remember when she started, but I know she ended in late '90 because Kelly Ripa was one of her last hires.

Louise Sorel almost left Days of Our Lives to take the role of Vanessa on All My Children, but decided to stay with Days.
Esta TerBlanche auditioned for Allie Doyle before being cast as Gillian.
Beth Ehlers, Maura Tierney and Tea Leoni all screen-tested for the role of Cecily Davidson on AMC. Tierney also read for the role of Hayley on Santa Barbara.

I find that very surprising. Unlikely even. That role must have been real crap for her to turn down a primetime opportunity like that. I'm sure they would have still taken her later had the L.A. Law gig become a bust.
LA Law was in the crapper by then (kind of like how all the CSIs are now), so maybe it was best.

I wonder if Finola and Jane would have played Anna and Tracy.
I'd assume so, but ABC Daytime was making a lot of odd decisions around this time, so who knows. LOL.
In an interview Debbi Morgan did with TV Guide when she joined Loving, she said that she chose Loving over a series regular role on LA Law.

Sherry Stringfield initially auditioned for the Mindy Lewis recast (eventually taken by Kimberley Simms) before getting the role of Blake on GL.
Not exactly "They Almost Became"s, but I thought this was interesting
Both Finola Hughes and Jane Elliot turned down the chance to join Port Charles around the time Debbi Morgan left but before Kimberlin Brown came in.

The role of Chris Stamp on All My Children was originally written with Wayne Northrop in mind. When he turned the part down, both Robert Hays and Brian Kerwin screen-tested before Jack Scalia was cast.

Before returning to All My Children the first time, Cady McClain was offered the roles of both Barbara Graham and Georgie Phillips on One Life to Live.

Brokeback Mountain. Extraordinary extraordinariness! It was soo emotional and beautiful and heartbreaking. I was in full on sobs by the ending (which I will not spoil). Heath Ledger's got the Oscar in the bag.

Summer of 1992 promo featuring Gilly, Hampton and David at 2:12. I remember they did a bunch of these styled promos around this time (with Alan-Michael/Eleni/Frank, Harley/Mallet/Jenna and Nick/Mindy)
