I mean they had white extras during Season 1 so I think they were being ambiguous the first season about it being an HBCU and when Debbie Allen came in they got rid of all of that and made it known that Hillman was an HBCU. Honestly Marissa Tomei's character isn't that remembered and while apart of the show's highest rated season, the golden years were def the years of Whitley, Dwayne, Freddie, Kim, Ron, etc. I think the show should focus on Whitley and Dwayne's kid and they pop up every now and again as parents. Idk how I would work any of the other originals on there, but the college characters are more important than anything. I wonder what network this would air on?

Kandi has been slick getting on my nerves these past two episodes as has Phaedra. The other castmember is irrelevant and I was laughing at her trying to stall when Kandi asked her to sing. Your voice is a mix of MJB, Beyonce, and Rihanna???? I'm Team Kenya!

Read on the RH blog that I frequent that filming for RHONY has been pushed back AGAIN and the ladies have yet to discuss storylines or know who they are filming with. It's in complete disarray. Like I said before, just keep everyone but LuAnn. It's really not that hard to get people watching a reality show just have interesting stories and some drama.

What trips me out is that Erica was crying to Mona last year at the Season 2 special talking about she shouldn't have acted like that on tv now she is acting worse. When she called L'orel a weak bitch bc she walked away from the argument I was like grow the hell up. Who has time to be so angry? HATE her.

They are also doing a two hour episode this season on the rise and fall of Disco with Gloria Gaynor, Nile Rodgers, Thelma Houston, and The Village People. I am ready for them to start doing some on 90's artists, I have secretly wanted to see one on Tevin Campbell lol

Yes, I loved the DeBarge episode. My aunt always used to go on and on about how Time Will Reveal was her and her boyfriend's song back when she was in high school. I love the song "I Like It" and never knew how tragic their story was. Especially the oldest brother and how he eventually died of HIV/AIDS. The Marvelettes one was so interesting to me. If you asked me who scored Motown's 1st #1 hit on the Pop Chart I would tell you The Supremes. Please Mr. Postman was sucha good song, and it was sad that they usually came in third (behind the Supremes and Martha Reeves and the Vandellas) when it came to girl groups. Even Martha Reeves and co. have memorable hits like "Dancing in the Street" and "Heatwave" but the Marvelettes was just forgotten. Gladys was my favorite member and I loved her vocals on "Too Many Fish in the Sea", song was stuck in my head for weeks after watching the episode, Wanda also sang some classics like "Don't Mess With Bill".Also loved how Katherine kept it so real in her interviews. I felt sorry for the girl who wrote Please Mr. Postman and couldn't join the group because her father wouldn't allow her to, but considering the group's fate maybe it was for the best. I am about to go look up who else they covered because I am sure I had some other faves.

Show that discusses R&B/Hip Hop artists from yesteryear that never got the recognition they deserved (in most cases) What are some of you guys' favorite episodes? My favorite is the Marvelettes, I will come back and discuss why when I have more time just wanted to hurry and make the thread lol.

Erica is a bottom of the barrel bitch. No class or control whatsoever! She goes off on that girl in the beginning of episode and then acts like she is soooo real and down for Rich bc she walked out of a picture with Somaya and Olivia didn't? I usually don't like her but I was Team Liv! There are times and places for everything and all Olivia did was take a picture they ain't BFF! Then Erica tries to go in on her at Yandy's event and tells Yandy to leave her own event if she doesn't like it? WOW. I was LMAO when Erica said Yandy looked stupid and both Yandy and Olivia bust out laughing bc in reality Erica was the one looking stupid I'm so bored by Joe Budden and his hoes. Fast forwarded all that sh-t.

They started talking again during the Anguilla trip and I guess they cleared up their issues and since coming back to Atlanta have been alot more friendly toward each other.

Kenya is giving me life and I can't wait to see her impersonation of Phaedra next week Cynthia is just amazing. She went from being irrelevant to a dear fave. Hope to see her as an ATL for a few more seasons. She is classy but can still serve when needed. A true southern belle. I don't really feel bad for Phaedra. Its not that serious. Do your donkey booty video and let the public decide. It is what it is.

Yeah, Peter, Kroy and Apollo came out. Peter talked about Cynthia's sister.... I forgot about Kroy and Apollo the segment was so boring.
