Hey there -- I see what you're saying. During my blog one show gets promoted at the end but at the halfway mark another show also gets a promotion (and that's the one that changes every day).

Life in Salem will get a recognition. I base it sometimes on who has updated their blogs when I post.

To Roman and Phoenix, don't let the friendship go away and I/we hope to see you back in some form soon. In the meantime, I shall have to find a new show to promo after Somerset.

If you come back with something new, I promise you'll get the promo.

Ditto for Somerset. Six weeks into the show and now I'm starting to heat things up.

I really enjoyed the premier. I thought it established Susannah and Jack fairly well as well as tying the past and present together. I've enjoyed the general feel of the series that I've gotten from reading the other stuff that you've posted. While you bill your "Somerset" as a loose revival, from what you posted it sounds like you've truly captured the spirit of the original series, which is more important than original characters. I think that it is okay if you sacrifice the established characters if your staying true to the general vision of the series, but that's just my two cents

Thanks. I thought it was very important to establish the Sam-Lahoma-Ada link, since AW didn't do a really good job of it (heck, after 1974-75 they all but forgot about Sam). My style of writing will be a lot like the P&G soaps of the 70s. In other words, it might be slow-paced but I hope you like it... lol
