Wedding shocker!!! And a Genoa City/Bay City connection continues…

CHURCH

Charlie, Lindsay, and Kirkland are sitting on one side of the church. Kirkland sits next to Charlie. Charlie is sitting between Kirkland and Lindsay.

Charlie: Hey Kirkland.

Kirkland: Charlie.

Charlie: Have you met my cousin Lindsay?

Kirkland: Cousin?

Lindsay: Cass’s niece.

Kirkland: What are you all doing here?

Charlie: My dad is giving Felicia away.

Kirkland: Is that right?

Charlie: So what brought you here?

Kirkland: Maybe you did.

Kirkland’s blackberry is vibrating and he looks at his text message. He’s just received from 262-555-0987. Kirk turns so that Charlie cannot notice this message.

Text Message: Hey Kirk I haven’t heard from you in a few days. I hope you’re okay. Been thinking a lot about you.

Kirkland texts back…

Kirkland’s Text Message: I’ve been pretty good. I’ve been thinking about you, too. I’ll call you later. Hope everything is well up there.

Text Message: Hey how is the wedding I hope you are ok. I got a hot date with a lawyer. I’ll tell you bout it tomorrow. Xoxo.”

Charlie looks over at Kirkland and privately wonders who Kirkland is texting.

TWO ROWS IN FRONT OF THEM…

Paulina, Cory, Elizabeth, and Dante sit…

Paulina: Oh this is so nice. Felicia’s getting married.

Cory: I hope mom’s okay.

Elizabeth: She’s probably missing dad right now.

Dante: Why don’t you go check on her?

Paulina: Not now Dante. The wedding’s about to start. Rachel’s a strong woman. She’ll be fine.

Dante: Does this remind you of dad?

Paulina: Of course it does, but before your dad I didn’t have a good track record at weddings. I left Jake at the altar.

Elizabeth: You were gonna marry Bridget’s dad?

Paulina: Yep, and then when I went to your dad and mom’s wedding, your dad was shot.

Cory: That’s morbid.

Dante gets a text from Bridget.

Bridget’s text message: Hey are you @the wedding?

Dante’s return message: Can you meet me at the Center afterward? My parents have gotten me upset.

Dante looks at Elizabeth and wonders if he should meet Bridget.

AT THE FRONT…

Mitch whispers something to Matthew.

Mitch: Was your mom surprised?

Matthew: Yep. It worked.

The organist plays the music and Rachel walks down the aisle, and takes her place as the maid of honor. Then the guests stand up as Cass escorts Felicia down the aisle arm in arm, as the organist plays “Here comes the bride.” Felicia and Mitch take their places. Meanwhile, Evan is unseen on the church inside balcony, with his gun pointed at Rachel.

WEDDING

Amanda, Lorna, and Rachel are in their places. Matt is in his place as Mitch’s best man. Mitch is facing Felicia. The two gazing into each other’s eyes, and the minister is finishing up.

Minister: Do you, Mitch, take Felicia, to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, til death do you part?

Mitch: I do.

Minister: Do you, Felicia, take Mitch to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have , to have and to hold from this day forward, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, til death do you part?

Felicia: I most certainly do.

Minister: By the power vested in me by the State of Illinois, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.

Mitch lifts Felicia’s veil and kisses her.

Felicia: Mitch honey, you’re sweating. Are you alright?

Mitch: I’m…fine.

Felicia looks down at Mitch’s stomach...and screams.

Mitch: I’m…I’m fine.

Mitch collapses as everyone watches in horror…especially Felicia’s.

Felicia: Mitch! Noooooo!

Rachel: I called 9-1-1. The paramedics are on their way.

Felicia bends down and clenches Mitch’s left hand, as he bleeds from his abdomen.

Felicia: Stay with us honey.

Amanda: I’m gonna go look around.

Rachel: Amanda that might be too dangerous. You don’t know who’s out there.

Amanda: I’ll call the police mom if I see anything.

Lorna: I’ll go look on the side entrance.

Matt: I’ll look in the back.

Rachel: This reminds me too much of my wedding with Carl.

Felicia: Please Mitch. Please hang on. Help is on the way.

Matt and Lorna return.

Matt: I didn’t see anything.

Lorna: Neither did I.

Rachel: Where’s Amanda?

ALLEY ENTRANCE

Amanda walks away from the door, and runs into Evan, who has the sniper gun in a holder across his back.

Amanda: Oh my God. Evan?

Evan: You’re still as beautiful as you were all those years ago.

Amanda: You shot Mitch.

Amanda attempts to get around him, and before she can let out a scream, Evan grabs Amanda and covers her mouth.
