Episode 58

Dusty and Meg decide to go to New York in hopes of getting a better idea of the company they're pursuing. Once there, they learn from a hotel clerk that their hopes of two seperate rooms are dashed. A famous concert band is in town, forcing Meg and Dusty to share the only vacant room left. Back in Oakdale, Carly finds Jack in the den. Knowing that he never comes there, she realizes that the loss of his partner and Panzico's escape have totally unnerved her husband. Though she tries to assure him that everything is alright, Jack angrily orders her to leave him alone. Across town, Andy and Emily get a lift from a truck driver and later, call a tow truck. Once back at Susan's, the two decide to go in and warm up since Susan is away at a medical conference and Daniel is at a sleepover. With the house to themselves, Andy brings up the fact that they've been dating a while but have yet to consummate their relationship. At Memorial, a nurse unplugs James's life support, revealing an awake and much healthier James. The nurse tells him that she will go get his discharge papers, but again urges him to stay the night so they can keep an eye on him. James refuses the idea, citing that he needs to get back to his family.
