Endgame- Episode 17
Thursday, April 12, 2007

- At the Quartermaine mansion, A.J. was awaiting for his guest. After his visit with Michael, he was all set to make sure to get one on one time with him as much as possible; and without the lurking of Carly or Sonny.

Edward made his way into the grand study. "I have to say, I am very proud of you for what you are doing to ensure a relationship with your son," he bellowed, sitting in his favorite recliner. "I am pleased that you took my advice, and stopped all that nonsense in asking Carly for permission to see your own flesh and blood. If it weren't for her, Michael would be right here with you, learning how to be a Quartermaine."

Nodding, A.J. was definitely pleased with how things seemed to fit into place rather quickly. "Well, grandfather, I will admit, when Michael told me he was grounded because of his attitude, I came up with the perfect solution. As a matter of fact," he said, taking out his planner, "that solution should arrive in a few minutes."

"Did you just say that Michael was grounded for his attitude?" Edward had to chuckle, not because of finding it funny, but for the fact that it was Carly and Sonny that did it. "The gall of a common thug to say that he wants Michael's attitude to improve. I don't see how it can when he's surrounded by the likes of Sonny and his degenerates." Shaking a finger at his grandson, Edward wanted to make him aware of how important is was to get Michael close to him. "You do whatever you have to, to make sure that Michael is treated appropriately. Heaven knows I don't want to see him going the same direction Jason went when he got mixed up with Corinthos."

"I promise you, no matter what, Michael will soon realize what a real threat Sonny is. Granted, I don't want to come between him and his mother, but Sonny is a matter within itself." Looking at his grandfather, he understood that even after many years, the hurt of Jason walking out on the family still etched his heart. "If Commissioner Devane can hold true to her goal, maybe even Jason can be separated from the likes of Sonny."

Before Edward could continue, a young man came towards the study door. "I'm sorry to interrupt. The big Amazon woman let me in. I'm looking for a Mr. A.J Quartermaine."

Coming from behind the desk, A.J approached the man. "You must be Evan, am I correct?" Looking over at his grandfather, he didn't mind that he was still in the room. In fact, he wanted him there. "This is my grandfather, Edward Quartermaine."

The young man nodded. "It's nice to meet both of you. My name is Evan. Evan Koslosky. Mr. Quartermaine, you called in hopes to get your son, Michael, some extra help with his soccer training and some tutoring in some of his subjects, am I correct?"

"That is very much correct. However, there is a slight change in plans," he replied. "Rather than Michael being tutored at the school every time, I thought that we could set up some of his tutoring sessions right here at the mansion."

Evan looked somewhat hesitant. He never conducted any of his tutoring for high school students outside of school. "With all due respect, sir. I have never tutored at someone's house. We've always stuck to doing our sessions in the classroom or in dorms."

Edward immediately took the reins of the conversation. "Nonsense. Tutoring is tutoring, coaching is coaching. If you have all the essential materials, then I see no reason for Michael to do his studies here in his home. On top of that, I can have a mock field set up across from the boathouse. Whatever your rate is, I'll double it, son. You just focus on helping my great grandson hone his skills and get the education that he deserves. Money, my boy, is definitely no problem for the Quartermaines."

Looking at his son's tutor and future coach, A.J. smiled at him. "Before we finalize this deal, I'd like to get some things squared away. There are some things that you need to be aware of." Handing him a folder, A.J. began to brief Evan on some important matters.

- When Elizabeth requested that Lucky come to the hospital, he most definitely was hesitant. What brought on the sudden urgency to see him he thought? Once there, however, he couldn't deny that he longed being near her.

"So, did Cameron give you any problems?" Elizabeth said, smiling at her son with adoration. "He's been fussy somewhat today."

"Nope, he was a very good boy, weren't you Cameron, tell mommy what a wonderful, well behaved boy you've been." When he saw his wife smile, his heart lurched a little. Why couldn't they just work things out? He would give anything to erase all the pain they each caused one another. "So, did you have a reason for calling me to see you? I mean, you don't get off duty till early morning."

Not sure what to come up with, she was pretty much winging everything that she said. "No particular reason, I just thought it would be nice for Cameron to see both of his parents together; and I have an hour to kill before I start my shift again, so..."

"Maybe we can talk in the break room, or go up to the cafeteria," he suggested. The last place he wanted to be was standing in the middle of the hospital wing, talking with minimum privacy. "Wherever you want to go, is fine with me."

Walking to the elevator, the two of them headed up to the cafeteria. Sitting in a booth in the corner, Lucky looked down to see that Cameron was drifting off to sleep in his arms. "He's had a very active day. We played with the majority of the toys he had scattered around." As he looked at her, all he could see was the beautiful woman he fell in love with. "Even when you are working late hours, you still look lovely."

Laughing a little, Liz simply smiled. "I don't see how I can look lovely on four hours of sleep, but thank you for the compliment. I was meaning to ask you, how is Bobbie doing? She's been on vacation for awhile, and I was wondering if you saw her at all."

"To be honest, I haven't gone to see her. She's the last thing I heard, she was feeling heavy guilt for disapproving of Lucas & Brandon's relationship. Plus, I've been so busy with work, and spending time with Cameron." He also was busy keeping Sam out of sight, the thought silently. "I should make some time to see her."

Lucky's cell phone began to vibrate just when conversation with Elizabeth was going so well. He handed over a sleeping Cameron over to Elizabeth, so he could answer his phone.

"Hello? Nikolas, I'm in the middle of something right now." A deep frown etched his face. "Hold on a second," he commanded. "Elizabeth, I'm going to have to take this, it shouldn't take long."

Holding her son in her arms, Elizabeth stood on her feet and gently rocked him. "I'm going to take him to the children's center. The nurse can keep an eye on him for me." As she walked from the cafeteria, her heart raced a little. Whatever Jason was up to had to do with Lucky, or else he would not have requested her help to get him from the apartment.

Back in the cafeteria, Lucky was livid. "What? You're telling me that Carly knows about Sam? This is great. Just great. If Carly knows then that means…." Sitting down in a chair, he suddenly realized that Elizabeth's request to visit her was a diversion. "Jason was over at my apartment earlier asking me a ton of questions about Sam. Apparently it was Robin who saw Sam in the park that night."

Lucky couldn't believe that once again, Elizabeth was more committed in helping Jason that she was in repairing their relationship. He felt like such a fool believing that she called him because she actually wanted to spend time together with their son.

When he made his way to the children's center, he glared at Elizabeth who was talking to the nurse. "Now I know why you really called me to see you."

"What are you talking about?" she asked looking at him.

"Stop playing games, Elizabeth." Lucky was so angry right now. "Jason was the one that asked you to call me away from the apartment and as always, you did whatever you could to help him." At that moment, he didn't even want to talk any further to her. "It's really clear me where your heart and loyalties truly lie; and it's not with me." He turns to leave, but before he does, he mutters the words that she had feared hearing. "I want a divorce."

Elizabeth could only stand in complete silence as he walked away.

I like how Lucky got the final words out to Elizabeth before she could even mutter a reason for doing what she did. Those four words alone sent chills. Good episode.

YYYYAAAAYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want a divorce! I never thought that Liz and Lucky had enough to maintain a grown up relationship. I loved them when they were in High School! Now, I want them to move on. Great episode! I want Jason to kick some Lucky and Nikolas butt for what they are doing to Sam, keepinf her away from Alexis

ETA: In the opening, is that a clip, of dare I hope it, Sonny and Brenda or Jax and Brenda? It looks like Sonny and Brenda from the Puerto Rico days but I can't stare at it any longer. It's right after Ric

i finally got a chance to read.. i love the Sarah & Steven angle that would work on GH now and add family to Liz.

but Dude, that's not Jax & Brenda because I remember I use to think that was J&B in the opening too until my older brother told it wasn't.

That's Jason & Robin in Montauk and here all along I thought you were pimping my J&R!
