  1. It's annoying that she has not even mentioned Spencer's death once. And yes its like they eliminated Britt's history with both kid Spencer and NAC Spencer and replaced it with Rocco.
  2. I was thinking that unless the definition of "escort" has changed than I don't remember Abby being an escort. I don't know if it's more funny that the show thinks she was or if Michael thinks she was.
  3. As someone who kind of liked the original Jason/Britt pairing, I don't know why since her return, they have chosen to write her as nasty as she during her original run in the Patrick/Sabrina storyline. By the time she was killed off, she was close with Spencer (she hasn't even said anything about learning about his death since she came back), was starting to become close to Doctor Randolph and didn't act like a 7 year old.
  4. When you think about it, its kind of darkly hilarious how Alexis cannot escape the magic dagger that killed her mother and every few years somebody threatens her life with it.
  5. Is Tony actually Tony or is he going to turn out to be Andre? The problem is when they made the "Tony was really Andre from 93 to 2007" retcon, that left so little time for the actual Tony DiMera that its hard to tell if this storyline is a misuse of his characterization. I just remember during the 2008-2009 era, Tony was the most "anti-DiMera" DiMera.
  6. The Sophia storyline is interesting to me because usually in a story like this, the Sophia character would be at least semi-competent at lying. There's something kind of hilarious about 1980's action hero Steve Johnson using his PI skills to attempt to take down the nervous 18 year old girl who does Tex Avery-style wild takes if you talk to her for more than 30 seconds.
  7. it's weird to be reminded that Drew is an actual member of Congress. A member of the House being shot would be national news ( like it was for Gabby Giffords and Steve Scalise). Trump would post about it and it there would be a lot of discourse about various political issues without knowing that the shooting was just a simple case of a war hero who used to think he was a mob hitmen turning into JR Ewing.
  8. I don't really like mocking young actors but Sophia was almost acting like she was the star of a Small Wonder reboot in her scenes yesterday. Is Sophia even still all about being a spoiler for Tate and Holly? She doesn't seem to be that concerned with them.
  9. If it is Faison, maybe they won't bother with Anders Hove and instead will hire some guy who was a supporting character on a network TV show 20 years ago.
  10. It's kind of funny that Damien was killed by a deranged Lane shipper.
  11. The numbers are small for a subreddit, but I like that Knots Landing is the first 80’s soap who has over a thousand subreddit subscribers. Poor Falcon Crest just has 96 subreddit subscribers.
  12. It's still better than MB on his youtube show the other day thinking that Emma is Anna's daughter.
  13. There's something hilarious about Natalia being all "I'm going to have leave my entire life and family behind for you" and a disinterested Sonny is like "but you're going to have a really pretty house and the weathers nice".
  14. It is kind of hilarious how at this point in the show, Sonny and Jason's "romantic lives" seem to based around completely platonic relationships with woman they mainly only know through their daughter/nephew.
  15. I really wonder what happened here. I liked his return when he was actually on screen, but he was so rarely played with anyone but a few characters that he doesn't really feel like a loss for the show. His comeback felt more like a circa-2013 recurring GH vet return like Kevin or Duke rather than a leading player.
  16. Heather already had an ex-husband by 1976, but will give birth to her only daughter during the George W Bush administration. Soap characters lead interesting lives.
  17. Little Brownie Man (or LBM) is fated to become his nickname here.
  18. I can't help think how weird it is that since Drew is member of Congress, within the GHverse, that video Lulu and other people are taking of him may end up as national news and (given the small difference in seats between Democrats and Republicans IRL in the House) could affect important health care legislation. Not that we know what party Drew is in of course.
  19. There is no reason Drew can't be anything more than a guy corrupted by power who has turned into an ass. The actors who played the classic rich morally challenged/villainous characters on the soaps have unfortunately almost all passed away in the last 20 years and we need newer versions . I'm not saying that CM should be the new David Canary, but we need characters like Drew (and Bill on BTG!) on the soaps.
  20. She looks a character from that Pen15 show from a few years ago or that 70's Mexican sitcom El Chavo del Ocho.
  21. I do think it's good that Nicole and other family members don't necessary come off as stupid for not believing Kat about Eve. I think Kat's potshots at Eve's status tend to turn people off and it undermines her case against Eve.
  22. I love the show so far, and I know it's an American soap and ages will be inconsistent and all, but Smitty talking about becoming an empty nester like Tom Bosley and Marion Ross is a latter-day Happy Days episode was a misstep.
  23. I wonder why we never really find out what exactly Gary and Val were doing during their post-Southfork pre-reuniting years. You have to think Alcoholic Gary Ewing in the late 60's would get into some trouble.
  24. No remaster ( I figured that was the case) but it still looks a little better than the 20 year old soapnet episode's that were the real only way to watch the show online for the past few years.
  25. As someone who watched the show for the first time when it started streaming on Freevee, I think any part of season 2 is the most "pure" Falcon Crest.
