  1. There is also spoiler I saw in SID for next week that says Luke asks Lulu to cozy up to Ethan.

Thanks, hooked. I wonder if he does that to gauge Tracy's reaction. Since self-absorbed Luke is convinced Tracy changed the DNA results, he might be trying to force her to admit it if she sees a potentially incestuous situation developing.

  2. What I don't like about him (the character) is he is bringing out the worst in Luke and making him all about the money and the scam and I don't like his latest sort of game of "gravy train" and back off the Q family--they are my terrority type attitude as far as cons go.

This "gravy train" regression is one reason I haven't missed seeing Luke with Tracy this week. Couplings aside, this has been one of the best Tracy weeks in months...or longer. TQ has been nothing less than spectacular.

  4. You might be right about the bad meds, hooked. Could be BS or something that was changed. That spoiler about Tracy telling the truth about the will might be legit. One of the earliest rumors about sweeps was that secrets would be revealed. That's rather generic, but it certainly fits within what's been discussed recently. Makes sense that they would revisit one of their most successful sweeps in years. I hope they remember that the Q's were center stage during that sweeps period!

  5. Hooked, I love your new avatar, which probably goes without saying. :P You do have your Wyndemere one in a safe place, though, don't you?

    About the Match Game clip...

It sounds like he would trade for any game show. (He said something about not being picky, and interested in any show.) With all game shows that soap actors have been on, maybe someone has something on tape to trade.

  6. LisaQ--You are a Brad maule fan right?

We are desperately trying to locate the Matchgame week of Feb. 11th 1991 that has JE, SD and Brad Maule as guest stars...any ideas who might have that show anywhere?

Hooked, here's someone who has it...

    http://www.angelfire.com/planet/rinkerman/Match.html

They list four shows that week with Jane, Stuart, and Brad. They spelled her name wrong, so if you do a "find" on the page it's with only one "l".

  7. The only thing that makes me think that Luke's having heart problems again is the spoiler about Tracy checking on him without Luke's knowing it. We should know soon enough.

Heart problems or not, those in charge need to figure out that there is no force like LuNacy TOGETHER! They could rock this town, take on the mob, and anything else. It looks as if Luke is going to become re-involved in the mob, whether he wants to be or not. I want Tracy along for the ride in a big way! Let them take on PC's criminal element together.

  8. Luke wanting Bobbie to convince Tracy he had a heart attack makes me think that he was faking. Then, the tests come back and he really does need a bypass, hence the spoiler about Monica telling Luke he needs another bypass.

Whatever the details, this is shaping up wonderfully. This is a semblance of an actual storyline, and I'm glad they're revisiting the heart issue. It was the first go-round that, as Luke said, "sealed the deal" and made him realize how much he loved Tracy. I love the symbolism, too, since the fear of a broken heart is literal and figurative with Mr. and Mrs. Spencer, respectively.

  9. Found this in the IL...

Karen Harris said something about writing for couples. Do you know who they are?

Sonny and Carly make peace. Real peace. She allows him to be Morgans father again. Other couples are Lulu and Johnny, Diane and Max, Spinelli and Maxie, Nik and Nadine and even Tracy and Luke. I suppose you could also add Lusam to that list.

  10. Oh, she's also returning at Abigail Bowen and a Russian mobster that Jason has to fight with.

I know, it's SD and you have to take it with many grains of salt. As I said, my first choice is that they stay together. Second is that they leave together. Operative word "TOGETHER".

    But seriously, Some Enchanted Evening...

"And fly to her side, and make her your own, or all through your life you may be all alone. Once you have found her never let her go. Once you have found her never let her go."

I'm thinking I will have a whole lot of free time if/when JE/TG leave. Given everything TG has said, honestly it could go either way, but as long as they are a united front, I'm good.

If Luke serenaded Tracy with Some Enchanted Evening, I would be a goner. And so would Tracy. Sigh...

On the chance that the scuttlebutt is true, and Luke and Tracy leave together, it's theoretically possible they'd be back, key word being theoretical. But they could leave together, still be together, and Tracy could pop in here and there while Luke is off somewhere on a very short, and chaste, adventure. You never know...

  11. Also from Posting Freak...

Natalia Livingston is returning to GH taking on the role of Dante, Sonny's long lost child.

 Gives the rest a little perspective. I'm thinking there is a minimum of two Posting Freaks on SD.

    Major DUH moment... :P

Posting Freak isn't a poster, it's one of SD's classes of poster. Shows how often I go to SD. I'll leave it to the professionals from now on...

  12. Still being "A Cockeyed Optimist"...

Noticed some strange posting patterns at SD (or is that being redundant? :P)...

Posting Freak makes a ton of posts.

Then, Posting Freak comes on and says he/she hasn't posted in a very, very long time because of computer issues, and goes on to say that if anyone has posted a Posting Freak, it hasn't him/her.

*Then*, Posting Freak makes another ton of posts including one about Jane and Tony being among those leaving due of the budget. (Not to assume anything with ABCD, but allowing/encouraging/whatever your two best actors to leave in hopes in helping your bottom line...there are no words.)

Just found this from Posting Freak...

National Enquirer Spoilers - Week of 12/15

Tracy isn't buying Luke's declaration of love.

Time is running out for Sam.

Jason tries to make a deal with Sasha.

Jerry plays a deadly game with Claudia

    EDIT:

    From the same poster...

Are luke/tracy back together in early 09 before Tony and Jane leave? Yes. They will exit together.

  13. Today's Recaps (Wednesday, December 3rd)

Tracy says she's not playing South Pacific (Hey GQT - R&H reference :D), she'll wear her own clothes.

I caught that, remos! :) It would have been so easy to piggyback an I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Out of My Hair reference. That's been Tracy's theme song of late. Oh, well...I guess budget cuts don't allow for a Rodgers & Hammerstein consultant. (I'll bet Jane and Tony come close, though.) Speaking of budget cuts, my new theme song is, in keeping with the South Pacific theme, I'm A Cockeyed Optimist. Self-preservation at this point.

Ms. Q...I wish you the *happiest* of birthdays! :D

  14. ^^^ Well, TG himself said Jane makes him better. ;) So, I'll take his words over a magazine's.

"And I'm grateful to my partner in crime, Jane Elliot...She makes me better!" :D

As I was arguing with an ewcbo fan earlier today - they didn't have a 3 decade romance, they had 3 decades of good PR.

The media couple also had one of the best marketers, in or out of the soap industry, Gloria Monty. And they had, what? A couple of years before half of the couple left? What I found most telling is that the buzz is always about "that wedding" and not the other apparently forgettable years. The LnL "legacy" has been the ultimate in resting on your laurels.

EDIT: Welcome to the Lovefest, Stargazer! So glad to have you here with us. :)

  15. Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone! :)

Thank you, Hooked, for typing that article! Sounds like TG wants to stay as long as he gets who and what he wants. He and Jane wanted to work together for thirty years, and they've only gotten three (and a half) so far. Really, when you look at Luke and Tracy, individually, they aren't suited to hyphenation. Each one is too unique and formidable for that. That what makes Tracy so fabulous; it's what makes LuNacy so fabulous.

Ms. Q, I'm looking forward to the video. Thank you! And Remos, thank you for the story.

  16. Okay, this is not fun. Here I go anyway...

I feel as if I've been given the middle finger by this show. I've always been primarily a Tracy/Jane fan, but loved LuNacy, too. Even when the scripted version had Luke treating Tracy as if she was crap, I still loved them. That was because of how TG and JE played it, and you could see how much they enjoyed it. They positively sparkled together.

But now, in TG's case, even when the dialogue is there, I don't see any caring, and very little, if any, emotion! He's playing it as if Tracy is some "choice" that he's being forced to make. Or that he's stringing her along as a spare until he knows if Laura is a sure deal. Today was the most offending. (Or maybe it was just the last straw. Not even sure at this point.) Watching him at the Quartermaines, seeing *how* he was acting regardless of the dialogue, I kept thinking, "Why are you even here?!?!" There wasn't anything about his tone of voice or demeanor that made me feel as if he really cared about Tracy, much less loved her. Acting choices are a big part of this, and that's what I most resent.

After decades of failed attempts at love, Tracy deserves someone who will choose her, choose only her, and not just say the words, but convey that he means it. What I am seeing now is so remotely removed from that.
