  1. Michael Scott was born on March 15, 1964, at 11:23 AM, in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He was raised by his mother and stepfather, Jeff, with a home on Kenneth Road. On several occasions, he has talked about his loneliness as a child. In Diversity Day, Michael claims to be of English, Irish, German and Scottish ancestry. He also claims that he is 2/15 Native American.

    "In Spite of All the Danger" is one of the first songs recorded by the Quarrymen, then consisting of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, pianist John Lowe, and drummer Colin Hanton. The song was written by McCartney and Harrison and is the only song to credit the two alone.

  4. Bungalow Bill, Prudence, Rocky Raccoon and the rest of the Beatles’ celebrated White Album cast of characters have moved up the all-time charts.

    The Recording Industry Association of America unveiled Thursday that the Beatles’1968 double-album reached 24-time Platinum-certified status – making it the fourth-highest certified release in United States history. The album lands ahead of a three-way tie for fifth place, shared by Billy Joel’s Greatest Hits Volume I & Volume II, Led Zeppelin’s Led Zeppelin IVand Pink Floyd’s The Wall.

  7. Sabena Flight 548 was a Boeing 707-329 aircraft that crashed en route from New York City to Brussels, Belgium, on February 15, 1961. The flight, which had originated at Idlewild International Airport, crashed on approach to Zaventem Airport, Brussels, killing all 72 people on board and one person on the ground.
