Maybe she will "retire" and get out of her contract so she can go to another show. I somehow think another show would know just what to do with her too!

We definitely need to get the Jane/Tracy buzz going in a big way. I definitely wouldn't count out the possibility of her getting something with another show, but as long as we still have a chance to keep her as Tracy, I want to see some TQ on GH!

I agree. Depending on the perspective of the one giving the scoop, it's a secret to most of the characters if not to the audience. And it's been a year and a half since Tracy's knowledge of Scott's involvement has been mentioned by anyone. So, to some of the audience, this may be news.

As Johnny spirals out of control, Lulu picks herself up and gets out of Shadybrooke.

Jaws drop when it is revealed that Laura is indeed real but did someone aready know? This is going to be a good twist.

Apon hearing Laura is real, Johnny regrets that he didn't have more faith in Lulu but Lulu lays into him about trust and faith.

Lulu sill loves Johnny but refueses to give him another chance.

Good twist...for who? LnL fans???

Hmmm...there's that word again - "twist". Wasn't the secret Tracy knows mentioned as being the "twist"?

I agree with you, hooked, about the implications of that twist. I just hope it isn't written as "It's all Tracy's fault" with the first wife lavished with all the nobility.

Tracy certainly has more facets to her personality than her predecessor, but part of her can be just as compassionate and giving as any character on canvas. Imagine that the tables were turned, and the first wife had been in Tracy's place. Would she have treated Dillon as her own child regardless of his treatment of her, and done it while her husband was MIA without a word as often as not? The Shadybrook Saint would have caved the first month, I bet. Tracy didn't. She went the distance, and is still going.

Hooked, Luke being the shadow by the door has crossed my mind as well. Scotty seems too obvious. As for the note, I'm wondering if maybe it's Lulu in a subconscious attempt to punish herself. Is that way too deep for Guza? LOL But maybe a split personality, and we know that's not too deep since it's a soap staple. That wouldn't be the twist with Tracy, but it would be a twist.

Whatever is coming up, I am tempering my trepidation and my enthusiasm... It probably won't be character destruction. If it was, fans would be storming gates. Remember all the spoilers that inferred Tracy saw Lulu with her mother? Maybe she did, and later confronted her with each agreeing not to tell anyone. I can see their striking an alliance with the sainted mother being the noble way, of course. Isn't it always that way. If you think about it, anything Tracy does regarding Lulu's unfortunate mother is, essentially, protecting not only Tracy, but her place in Luke's and Lulu's lives. If they wrote it that way, it would be classic Tracy. Her survival instincts and love for her family would both be in play.

Mixed feelings here...

I love the Evolved Tracy who has acted selflessly toward a self-absorbed ingrate. Actually, I was thinking of Lulu, but it would apply to Luke a lot, too! So, I don't want to see what would essentially be a rewrite of that.

What trumps everything, though, for me, is for Tracy to have the most opportunity for story if/when TG leaves and/or they redo LnL. So, whatever that is, and if this "twist" is it, bring it on...I think.

Jane conveys so much even without dialogue. Amazing...

This is fantastic!! Thanks for posting it, hooked. And, you know, I really like the fact that this has been going on for as long as it has. People are getting involved to an extent they've never been before, and others are getting involved for the first time.

This election is so important, probably more important than any in my lifetime.

I'm definitely going to help create TQ buzz about interactions with other characters.

It could be dependent on Genie if she does stay longer than we thought (as hooked mentioned).

I don't really care what happens at this point, as long as Tracy gets screentime out of it.

I know exactly how you feel, Ms. Q. I care what happens storywise, but what I see *not* happening is what I care about even more. I can't believe how they have attempted to reduce Tracy as a character over these past several months. If they had given Jane/Tracy even a fraction of the propping, media attention, airtime, etc. that they've given GF, they might not have had their worst year ratings-wise. And the fact that their worst ratings and JE's absymal airtime has coincided is, I think, not a coincidence. She's the best they have, and with all the returns, bring backs and re-hauling of the shows, she can be part of this resurrection they seem to be gearing up for. We just need to push for it on her behalf. As Remos mentioned in another post, Jane shouldn't have to do it. Her fans should be the ones.

Remember what she said in that interview "don't care [what happens] as long as I do it with him." That is not a person who is going to wait for the next love interest to come along, she will be gone.

Or maybe she would stay, with or without a love interest. Jane played Tracy, on and off, for almost three decades before Tracy and Luke were paired. If they revert to L and L, I don't think that Jane is going to hang her head, and walk out the door.

Unlike some characters in couplings, Tracy has been enormously popular as an individual character. No one here knows what Jane would do. What is known, though, is that she, along with other castmembers, have asked for more with the Quartermaines. That doesn't sound like someone who is ready to leave if she doesn't have a love interest.

Not sure this is going to go over big here, but I am posting a link anyway to a new board someone created for Tracy/AZ...about sick of Tracy getting no airtime and JE being wasted as wallpaper with no lines, etc..

It is maybe a way to generate some JE buzz, even if it isn't lunacy buzz...

I checked it out, and the photo made me laugh...and that's something I realized I haven't done in days. So, thanks for the link, hooked. Don't see the romance there, but they could be awesome adversaries.

Generating buzz is something positive to do, and I'm all for that. I'm not for going the AZ romantic route, but there's still potential there for a story.

I love LuNacy, but I'm a JE/Tracy fan first and foremost. Regardless of what happens over the next few months, Tracy *and* Jane deserve to be recognized as valuable, and not as an appendage to Luke/TG. We don't even know if he will be staying beyond the first of the year. If he does, and if they are still a couple, he will still be gone half the year.

I'm to the point that what bothers me most is GF getting all the hype, and the airtime while Jane is given scraps. That has to change!

I didn't like the "shrew" comment either. A shrew is, for the most part, someone who nags. The only time Tracy was a shrew, in that sense, was earlier this year, and it was *very* much out of character. The mags are so biased, it's pathetic. I'm sick of it, too. Seems to me she's closer to being a saint than other so-called saintly (or "angelic" ) characters. Tracy treats Lulu as if she were her own daughter despite being trashed by her repeatedly. She's also coming dangerously close to being that "long-suffering" wife she told Luke she was never going to be.

since the promo is mainly a bunch of old clips put together, they could have just used old ones of Luke. You do not see any of them together. Laura spins around after you see Luke walking in a door, then you see a clip of Tracy leaning on a wall, she is wearing a red long evening jacket or something like that.

Hey, hooked. Thanks for the dish. That might be a photo from November 2006 when Tracy ran into her into the hospital, then hurried beyond everyone's view and leaned up against the wall. She was wearing a long red jacket then, too.

Just caught the last minute or so, but...

Tracy was on today! Haven't had a chance to watch yet (recorded it), but she was there. Got a reaction shot at the very end as she spun around and left the courtroom, obviously not pleased with the verdict.

Hair is certainly growing.

Thanks for the spoilers, hooked! Guess we'll find out tomorrow. Seems impossible that Tracy wouldn't be there, but maybe not if she's worried about Lulu. Wouldn't it be nice to see Lulu appreciate her for a change.

I guess that would be me. I'm thinking since the ptbs seem to like Epiphany, maybe some Edward/Epiphany interaction would result in Tracy getting involved. This is how desperate I am for a Tracy story...

Anyway, just read on SOC that the verdict is reached tomorrow. So, it's almost guaranteed Tracy. I hope she at least gets some reaction shots. Either way, looks like Tracy Tuesday!

Thank you, halee! I'm so glad you're doing that. I've posted a few times, but will keep it bumped so maybe we'll get even more response. So far, so good! So many Jane/Tracy fans!

I'm glad someone introduced the ageist/sexist angle since that is really something we could use to get something done. As Funny pointed out, it's particularly evident on GH.

There is no way that Tracy would "conspire" with Scott. Tracy finding out that the wig was lucid, but not telling anyone, is **completely** different from this. She could find out, struggle with her conscience/Alan, and eventually come clean or not. Tracy loves Luke and Lulu, but, as she said, she isn't the long-suffering type.

Luke has been gone for months with apparently no word to Tracy. Lulu treats her like crap. So, I don't think it would be out of character at all for her to withhold what she knows/think she knows about laura. This is not tantamount to holding anything over Lulu's head. Lulu will think/say what she wants without regard to Tracy. That much is certain.

Sounds like a productive phone call, hooked! Not sure anyone will get through on that number again after the Liaison fans get through, though! I doubt that most will be as polite and cogent as I'm sure you were. (That opinion is based on what I've read from them on SD... )

And thanks for passing along the ratings. Still no bump from the ewcbo? Not even a teeny, weeny one? Wow. All that PR and nothing. Maybe they should have listened to all the fans who were saying: Use the characters you already have, and stop with the "bring backs" of legends in their own minds. And I know where they can start. Ms. Courtroom Observer herself... Tracy!

Tracy spies Lulu with a very much awake Laura.

However, Tracy believes its best that no one knows Laura is awake, even if it means Lulu second guesses herself.

THIS is what I have been saying should happen all along. I know some of you won't agree with me, because you don't want Tracy to lie to Luke, but this would be SOOOO classic Tracy to do...so in character...to see that Laura is awake and let Lulu think it is in her head because she doesn't want to lose Luke, etc....I know it might suck for LuNacy....but really, this would be the most in character thing Tracy could do...like the Tracy of old...plus it will give Jane some screentime and you know she will rock it!

And with all the LnL stuff...the outcome for Lunacy is up in the air anyway...at least if they are going to do it, let Tracy get a decent storyline out of it. Luke has certainly screwed her over enough!!

And Lulu has *definitely* screwed her over enough! (Oh, and tangential, but...Why does Edward get a closeup of Lulu being called to testify and not Tracy who is her stepmother?!?!) Over the past couple of years, Tracy has been nothing but selfless in regard to Lulu which, really, is not the Tracy we know and love, while getting absolutely *zip* in return.

Bottom line for me, though, is Tracy's place on the canvas and Jane's place on the show. This year has been horrendous with some of the hospital extras getting more airtime than Tracy. GF has gotten more airtime in the past few days than Jane has all summer. And who knows what will happen in October, or a few months down the road?
