  1. I found Sable to be a more convincing character. Alexis was larger than life, over the top, a cartoon character. She claimed to love her children, yet she used them at every opportunity and could easily dismiss them -- which she did to all of them at one time or another. Sable, on the other hand, could be devious, but she had the same motivation as JR Ewing -- her children. JR was always interested in passing the Ewing family heritage to Jon Ross, and Sable was always protecting her children from outside forces. Even her battle with Alexis in the last season was fueled because Alexis exposed Miles and Monica as illegitimate. She was cool, smooth, and calculating. Stephanie Beacham beautiful, icy, and seductive. And she could act. And Soapsuds, this is for you, my buddy: An old banner from one of the German websites. Actually my fantasy involved Steven #1 and Adam #1,
  2. I wouldn't say "dullness". The first season is very well written. Seasons 1, 2 and 9 were the best written.

I, of all people, know where you're coming from. My own personal life became so bogged down, it was miserable. I like doing the blog here for many reasons. I tried starting my blog over at another site because after so many false starts here, I felt it was easier to just start fresh. Didn't work. I'll expand upon that in a future entry. For now, just take heart that I've already done this. I got overcome by events, had to take a break, and now I'm back. You've got a great thing going here. As I told you before, you were my inspiration. So, take some time off. You need a break, you need some personal time, some R&R, and when you come back, I'm sure you're going to be welcomed back just like I was but with an even greater passion. Don't know if any of that helped, but I hope it did! Jay!

  6. This is great. Why can't the show be like this? Anyway, been sick with a cold, but it's been nice to have solid entertainment. Looking forward to Halloween! Thanks for the great work! Jay!
  7. Love it! You guys inspire me! Waiting for more!
