Nope, they never are. And often the spoilers come to nothing because she has another story entirely. It's a shame she isn't a lead - that was an oversight made 30 years ago. They should have hired JE to be a lead then and there - heaven knows she's got the best chops of them all.

I'm actually getting excited that Tracy could have a lead role in this upcoming story, rather than just being mere support - the way scoopers months ago said. If she knows something and decides not to tell Luke, that would be self-serving Tracy. HOWEVER, I doubt it's about Laura recovering because she would already be acting completely insecure and would never have spoken about Laura in front of her like that yesterday. If she knew Laura was in and out, she couldn't be sure that Laura wouldn't be awake at that moment. I think it does have to do with Laura somehow, but it's something else. I think the viewers have made it known that they don't like nag-Tracy or doormat-Tracy, so we'll see more of her old spirit return. But Tracy at her best was always protecting herself but also those she loved. She hated Jenny as a match for Ned long before she realized the Paul/Jenny thing. She wanted Dillon to have a career of his own before he got so caught up in Georgie that he wouldn't do anything else. Ultimately Tracy is always right about a situation, but her actions are questionable. However in all of that she is never intentionally cruel or cruelty's sake. She's not Helena.

NO!!!!! Don't even think it. Today's Tracy would never do that. Even pre-Luke Tracy would never do that. Even her lack of morality had it's limit. Tracy's a bitch, she's not hateful/evil. Besides, the shadow the other day was definitely a man. And Lulu would know Tracy's handwriting if she had written that note.

Lainey, I really think you are on to something - a couple of times over. In this past month a few things have made me raise my eyebrows and take note: 1. Laura not being surprised by the Q's in Lulu's life. 2. Laura telling Lulu she would want Luke to move on. 3. Laura not wanting Luke to know about her awakening. 4. Tracy standing at Laura's door for moments longer than you'd think she would. 5. Tracy saying Laura can't see, hear or understand them right in front of Laura. 6. Tracy admitting for the first time that she loves her step-daughter in front of Laura (which both says she loves Lulu and she loves Luke - her husband) One or two of these could be considered plot points or oversights, perhaps even inconsistencies. But all of them? Nope, this is a set-up for something. And the Helena angle would be brilliant and so believable.

It was a good show. A really good show. I was thinking that you're clip job was back the other month with the trial but I was still out of work when it came to recapping - today I got my job back, too. (Let's hope we don't have to wait until the 16th for more.)

I tell you... they are doing better and better every day. Someone at the top has their sh!t together finally. Stats Vets: Mac, Scotty, Monica, Tracy, Mike Couples: Lusam, Spixie, CarJax, Clic, Skate Children: Morgan, Cameron, Jake Sc. 1: Wedding - beautifully done, no conversation just classical music. To Ava Maria, Kate walked down the asle, looked at Sonny, got shot, Jax jumped to protect Carly, Kate collapsed amazed that the bullet hit her. Sc. 2: At SB Tracy looks at Laura's door for a few moments then turns to Lulu's and enters. Not seeing her she asks an orderly who says Lulu should be in her room. Tracy says sarcastically that she isn't and the orderly says he will alert the staff. Meanwhile at the wedding Lulu is obviously upset and Johnny/Carly try to calm her down. Sc. 3: Nothing with our favs. Sc. 4: Johnny brings Lulu back to her room and Lulu assures him he isn't to blame. She wanted to go and he did everything right. They start to kiss and Tracy walks into the room saying "This is wrong on so many levels." Sc. 5: Tracy lambastes Johnny for taking Lulu to the wedding, then drags him out of the room. Lulu tells him no matter what anyone says she wanted to go with him. Outside in the hallway Tracy continues to blast Johnny saying Lulu isn't in SB because she's depressed she didn't make the cheer leading squad, she is mentally ill. Johnny says he knows that. Tracy doesn't think he fully understands and says there is someone he has to meet. At the wedding Scott is trying to throw his weight around and blusters to Jason. Benny/Bernie tells Diane who comes up beside Jason as that cop (name?) and Scott are questioning him, and says "what is this, bad cop/stupid cop? (Lainey, Lisa, DiLex if wonderful today.) At the hospital Sonny goes in to the ER room to see Kate and asks Monica how she is. Mon tells him they need to stabilize Kate before surgery and a neurologist has to do it because the bullet is lodged beside her spine. She also says she didn't need an x ray to tell her it's a hollow-point bullet designed to inflict as much damage as possible, and of any of the 100's of things that could go wrong, Kate may be paralyzed. Sonny tells her to do whatever they can. And Monica says "How many times? How many times have you said that about someone who's unlucky enough to be standing next to you?" Sc. 6: Tracy takes Johnny into the other room. "I'd like you to meet Laura Spencer, Lulu's mother. That's what she's facing, nothing more than being the living dead" Johnny - You shouldn't say that in front of her. Tracy - Why? She can't hear anything. She doesn't respond. She doesn't know we're here. She just sits there in a world of emptiness, and that's what's facing Lulu unless she gets the help she needs. J - You're trying to scare me. T - You're damn right. It's like the flaw in the perfect gemstone that you don't even know is there until it cracks in two. J - That's not going to happen to Lulu. T - Why? Because she's too young, too vital, too full of life? I love my stepdaughter, but even if I didn't I wouldn't wish that on anybody. Then Tracy leaves Johnny alone facing rocking-chair Laura (body double - guess they couldn't pre-tape 20 more seconds of GF). Sc. 7: Lulu - Well, since Johnny didn't come to say goodnight I guess your threats worked. Tracy - You're obviously feeling better because you're being snippy with me. L - That's right, I am. And I'm going to get out of here and live my own life. T - Good, just get well first. L - I will Orderly comes in with tray and Tracy says she'll leave her. Lulu is a little too quick to get rid of Tracy and you can see in Tracy's face she wants to say more but she doesn't push it. Once alone Lulu picks up the top and instead of food it's a note that says something like "You killed Logan. You're going to pay."

Possibly, but the pack of wolves hasn't been singing GF being in the building yet. And I wonder if TG really did return early or if he's been back and enjoying LA for awhile. I doubt he closes up the house only a couple of days before he's due back on set. With that many of the old crew together for NSII, you know discussions must have been happening long before anyone got to the production stage. TG knew it was coming and would have planned accordingly.

Oh, that was one of my all time favourite sets. I can't wait. Praise the Lord for Youtube!!! The spoilers had the look of LLS, but it's hard to tell when the fur starts to fly. Is GF really back taping already or is it now October so it's assumed she's back taping already? It's a little early for sweeps, but if she's in the lead up.... who knows... As for all this exit talk, that's going to increase until TG tells the press one way or another. Salt shakers and Kleenex handy is what I suggest.

We'll see what today brings, but they have to do a whole lot of set-up in the next two weeks for Luke's return. He never comes quietly into town, and the last couple of years we've had Tracy for days before his returns from any vacation, so I honestly can't see nothing for 2 1/2 weeks and then bang - fight time. Those spoilers were part of a list that was confirmed by one and dissed by a number of others, so who's to know for sure. The aesthetics are in keeping with lists of real spoilers, but the Filthy McNasties were out on SD yesterday.

LnL haven't taped scenes yet, and LuNacy has been taping this week, so at least we get our couple first. Personally I would rather just get on with it if we are forced to deal with LnL.

Yeah... and this is a surprise why? Like Lisa said, Luke will be pissed that Tracy took his money so he had to contact LuSam, and he asked Tracy to take care of Lulu only to find her in SB truly being LooLoo. Tracy is pissed because he promised her an adventure and ended up sousing it up on the other side of the globe, and she couldn't find him anywhere when Lulu started to deteriorate. They have only had a couple of good days after fighting for most of the year. Remember, she's still got her rings and he has come home to her, but they've had over 4 months to get really angry with each other. AND nothing is to say how long this goes on. These two can both hold a grudge and both yell to clean the air. It's a crap shoot which it will be, but we've already seen when the outside forces are restless these two are the perfect team.

Quick, someone give me TG's quotes about JE. Someone on SOC is doing his 'recent' quotes about ewcbo, but those are 2 years old and I hate the fact that JJ is the 'real' Lucky and not GV. BTW, as a matter of opinion when watching other soaps, have other cast changes had the hard time moving on that the Spencer men have? It seems everyone else gets a life but anyone who touched the ewcbo's garment strings much remain frozen in time until her goodness returns. It's gag-worthy. EDIT Okay, I found my own quotes, but do we have them centralized anywhere? I know some of you avoid SOC, but there have been some interesting discussions there. The poll TL spoke about (re: Favourite Couples) now has the results posted: LuNacy ranks #4 or 5, depending on how you crunch the numbers. Is the least polarizing couple, and consistently scored in the top 1-4 with Scrubs, SpinMax, LuSam and Nicodine. I know it's only reflective of SOC, but the numbers seem to keep in line with the general opinion of the board.

This sounds like it should be right. And interpretation according to the World of Remos: - Luke notices Laura is a wake and talks with Tracy about it during some private time - Tracy is afraid her secret will come out, not realizing her secret is already walking around time socializing with everyone Tracy knows. Luke will be stunned to learn about the new member of the Spencermaine family - Scott admits he has known about Tracy's 'secret' for some time, and they try to blackmail each other into silence until tragedy strikes. Will Tracy need her daughter more than ever? - Discovering her step-mother is seriously ill and needing full support of her family, Lulu grows up and becomes the daughter/step-daughter her father and Tracy need BTW, I like Lainey's interpretation of the spoilers too. But I ask... is Tracy a factor in Luke/Laura's love story or is Laura a factor in Luke/Tracy's love story???

This is a total outsiders' question, but don't you find the entire process goes on too long? It seem like you folks have election fatigue. The authorities seem to spend two years covering their ass and two years trying to get elected again. It can be argued that our election times are too short in comparison, but we have the better voter turn-out. As I said, this is an outsider's perspective. EDIT And on to the reason we are really here. This was on SD: Insider: Anything you can drop for Tracy or Jax coming up? I don't have much. But look for Laura to be a huge factor in the Tracy and Luke relationship. Has she really come out of it or is it all in Lulu's head? I'm actually liking the vibe of this. LuNacy could not have dealt with ewcbo before, but you know they had to at some point. Tracy needs to know that Luke will stay with her regardless, right now she's with everyone thinking she's the substitute (even some fans). I hope they play this well. Even if LuNacy isn't the ultimate outcome (and I won't be convinced until I see it air), Luke isn't just going to drop her.

^^ that is really neat. I don't think I've ever seen a politcally active actor like that. Except perhaps the Sutherlands (Donald, Keiffer). Keiffer's grandfather was actually one of the first leaders in the New Democratic Party, and perhaps Primier of Saskatchewan... don't know all of my political history, obviously. BTW, Canada will have had a National election called, voted and have it done with within 6 weeks. You've been at this how long and still going? We go to the polls in less than 2 weeks.

Hi all, I'm around this afternoon so I'm bumping the thread. We had our first homeschool mixed Scouts/Guides meeting this morning and everyone who pre-registered was there (except the 4 teenagers), so I'm feeling very accomplished. Now I have to spend some time getting all of my paperwork in order for next week. I hope we get more than Monday with Tracy, but at this point I'll take anything. I think this week was harder than the others because we know we are sooooo close to having Tracy/LuNacy/Luke back that it's now painful. We have weathered a long, long summer and the spark is over. I need to get some screen time to get my TQ mojo working again. We know he's back the 13th... do we have a day yet? EDIT Just saw this on the IL. I'm not sure what it's in relation to, but I like the way it looks/sounds: All this plus Robin throws everyone (and us) for a loop with a surprising move, Carly may get a new business partner, Tracy kicks some butt, and someone drives a boat into a freighter. Get a map!

YAY!!! Throw Sam and Claudia into the mix and I'm a happy camper. Loved the part that he's the centre of the non-mob... Perhaps another Emmy year for TG? Personally I don't care about his statues, just put some focus on LuNacy already!

Brook Lynn mention today. Olivia told Carly they are so proud of "Lois and Brookie, tearing it up there in LA. But every time they go home they visit the Cerellos." Is it just me or does this piss others off? Nice to acknowledge that BL exists, but she has another half of the family that doesn't even get a phone call and this newby has a personal relationship with her.

Tracy will bitch and complain but Jane will get her favourite type of wardrobe for awhile - and Luke cast as the benevolent grandfather with children crawling all over him as well. They show the film being made so Tracy and Luke can bounce between being 'in character' and 'themselves'. 9) And if Ned returned??? I'd like Ned to get in the way of Luke and really put the screws to him, interfering with LuNacy the way Tracy has always interfered with Ned's marriages - and force Luke to prove he is worth of Ned's mother. 10) What would you prefer: Having Tracy onscreen all year in a decent capacity but no longer paired with Luke or having Tracy onscreen in a minimal capacity but paired with Luke? Well, since LuNacy pulled me back in to the show, I'd have to say what we have now. I want more, of course, but her pairing with Luke is a keeper. Can't we have both? Great story and Luke? Surely JE/TQ have paid their dues by now.

I'm beginning to wonder how much of the ewcbo love is for the benefit of the masses, 'cause there sure doesn't seem to be a whole lot behind the scenes. This makes me feel better. I don't think TG is ready for the fat lady to sing yet, and this give Tracy at least a 50/50 start. That's better than some others would give her. As for me, r/l has been sucking in my time and with the lack of Tracy it's hard to get inspired. Tomorrow morning I have a couple coming here to vet us to see if we would be suitable to host a Korean child for 3 months while they learn English. I don't know what parents are thinking to send a child to another country at such a young age, but it's not my call. If this works hopefully we would get a girl and some pooka shells. Heaven knows we need both in this household. Is this week taking forever or is it just the sense that it's all down hill so perception makes it longer?
