Edit I know i have seen this before, but I found it tonight and re-read it. Awww...SD/JE so rocked their scenes together surrounding Lila's death--with the we had the best mother in the whole world scenes--unrehearsed! Memories and tears filled the General Hospital studio on June 24, as cast members past and present gathered for the show's tribute to the late Anna Lee (Lila), airing July 15 and 16. "It's a sad occasion to come back to, but at the same time, it's my way of honoring Anna and all her contributions to the show," shared Kimberly McCullough, who returned as Robin Scorpio. The young actress revealed how Lee took her matriarch role truly to heart. "She never forgot a birthday of mine, and she always had a gift for me. She was so caring, wanting to know what's going on in my life." Leslie Charleson, who plays Lila's daughter-in-law Monica, remembered Lee's independent spirit. "She had that electric wheelchair, and she insisted that she moved it alone ... she'd put it into high gear and just nail something on her exit from the set," Charleson recalled with a laugh. "This frail little woman had such tenacity and professionalism, it was unbelievable." Jon Lindstrom, back as Kevin Collins, recalled Lee's brassy side. "We were together at a mixer at one of the local restaurants and I asked if I could get her a drink. She said, 'Yes, I'll have a vodka and tonic, very little tonic." Lee even touched GH's newest cast members. "I met her my first day," said Scott Clifton (Dillon). "I walked into makeup and said, 'Nice to meet you.' And she said, 'Nice to meet you. You're in good hands,' and then she proceeded to tell the hairdresser that if he burnt her hair with the curling iron, she would kick him in the b-----. I was an Anna Lee fan for life." For Stuart Damon, who plays Lila's son Alan Quartermaine, Lee "really was like my second mom." He and his onscreen sister Jane Elliot (Tracy) chose not to rehearse their emotional moments before taping. "We didn't have to," he explained. "We already knew, because we were tapping into our show's history, it would be a wonderful tribute to Anna, and it really was fabulous." Elliot, visibly moved by the day's events, couldn't find the right words to express her memories of Lee. "I'm not there," she gulped. "Let me think and get back to you." But she couldn't. Moments later, TV Guide Online saw her being comforted by a co-worker. It was a tough day for many people.

TG's face was cracking me up--actually both of their faces were! They do the physical comedy very well. But then again, our girl does everything very well! Going to see a movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall early tonight. Have no clue what it is about, but my husband has been whining for days how I never spend any time with him. I am laughing thinking okay, we will go sit in a movie and watch it and not talk too!

Wow, you have been hanging out with TL too long! Sounds like today was a snoozefest on GH. I can't believe the HS opening was two episodes. I guess maybe though it is the scene of some more stuff coming up.

If Luke leaves to go find Robert or help him, that would be grounds for Tracy to dump him again. I am seeing some spec that Luke leaves this summer is going to be related to something with Robert Scorpio who will be offscreen (not on). Good--let him go rescue his friend. Works for me. Spinelli finds Dr. Devlin's financial records. Michael opens his eyes while Carly and Jax sit with him. Jason doesn't agree with Sonny's plan. Johnny figures out that Ian is Claudia's shooter. Sonny is not happy to learn about Max and Diane's affair. Anthony's health is improving and he forms a plan against Sonny. Funny--I am writing that fic as we speak!!! Thought I would bring this over...nothing backstage for TG/JE, but the last part is of interest (from SD) It's been a while since I did some backstage stuff, but here we go: -With ratings down, the changes being made to Skate and Carjax have made certain actors unhappy -look for a more "likeable" Claudia as the writers and those in charge try to change the reaction to SBr's return. The return has been really disappointing for them, but they are determined to fix it. -TC is not happy. Frustrated with the Nem storyline after Emily's death, not sold on the pairing they are trying to stick him with. -MB does not want Skate to end -SR much happier these days -tensions are high between quite a few actors-LW, MB, KeMo, SBr, SBu... -IR not as vocal as others, goes with what they give him. -Both GV and KeMo frustrated with the situation with Lusam. -KMu/JT happier with the direction their couple is going in. -SBu only wants Liason. BH less assertive in the matter. -NLG is very happy with her pairing and her new friendship. -BB/JMB like mentioned before clicked immediatley have become very close. both actors love the pairing. -The same can be said for KS/BA, who continue to adore working together. both actors very happy. -JD,NB still on their last legs. -There hasn't been a push for bringing GF back. But VM, RS have both been approached.

Wow nobody has posted all day since I left??? So I hear she was on but just snippets...a few scenes from what I can gather at SD...nobody cares there, so hopefully there was more to TQ than just background stuff. Hope to catch you guys tonight! Someone said she had a few scenes in the beginning with luke and maybe Kate and diane? Someone said that she told luke she wanted to frisk some of the guests when Sonny came in and he said "go have fun popsicle" to her! The part is apparently over for tomorrow. Congratulations Nex! I love my doggie the most in my house! LOL! Doesn't talk back, puts me on a pedastal, unconditional love! I hope you didn't jinx her to become a yapper with a name like Lulu! That is such a nice thing to do--adopt a dog! I start crying every night when they show that commerical on Nick that my kids watch to that song arms of an angel and talk about the abused pets. Morning guys...here is a scan of the SID preview...Guza is the worst interview...the luke/anna stuff seems silly like she finds out she is going to be a grandma, is freaking out, goes straight to luke and is like let's get wild and crazy, and they do. What a great publicity teaser Guza! Idiot! Anyway, the good thing is, where Luke goes, Tracy is sure to find them or maybe be in on their goofiness or be there to break it up! They probably get drunk together or something of have a rip-roaring night or go jump off a bridge or something for a scene or two. Anna is only back for like 5-6 episodes for now so it can't be too much of a story! \ I fell asleep last night before I came back upstairs to the breakroom. Sorry! Funny1--Missed you last night!!! Well the bottom line for me is that we KNOW Tony is leaving in May/June for his usual four month stint (at least we assume). We know they won't make Luke and Tracy go off together; and I would 1000x rather him take off for some adventure (if he at least tells Tracy or it seems plausible having to do with helping Anna or even something mob-related) than you know who! Okay I am just going to try to enjoy today and tomorrow and the weeks to come. Not too long ago I was majorly upset thinking JE was leaving in May. At least that doesn't seem like now. I gotta go lay with my little one, but I will be in the br soon thereafter! I will post a link.

From a long list of scoops...don't like this one Tracy puts Luke on too short of a leash and he rebels. Anna brings up questions of the future that leave Patrick and Robin in an uneasy places and it stirs up trouble. Anna plays both bad cop and good cop and it has some bad results. Anna is also going through an identity crisis of her own. Although I would rather have Luke leave with Anna this summer to go save Robert or something as an exit storyline rather than something to do with EWCBO!
