August Episode Counts are up. Our girl comes in at #35 among the entire cast with a grand total of 2 out of the 23. Yes, friends, Baby Jake, Morgan, and Cameron ALL averaged more than her. Tied with Jane Elliot at 2 are: John Ingle, Stuart Damon, Leslie Charleson, Robin Christopher, Nancy Lee Grahn, and Lindze Letherman, among other less significant cast members (i.e. Dr. Ford and Mike Corbin). Year to date, Jane Elliot is at 71 out of 173, still in the Top 20 of all GH cast members (Note that she IS #20, and that Epiphany is tied with her - Gah). Other bits of information: New mob supporting character Kate has gotten more episodes than Alan, Monica, Scott, Edward, Mac, Bobbie, and Georgie. New mob supporting character Diane has gotten the same amount of episodes as Monica and Scott and MORE than Edward, Mac, Bobbie, and Georgie. Old mob supporting character Max has gotten more Monica, Scott, Edward, Mac, Bobbie, and Georgie. Oy. This is SO. WRONG. Is there hope that September will be better? EDIT: This might not be exact, but I just counted her 2006 counts up through August and got 66, so I guess we're at (about - if I messed up) 5 episodes better than last year. (My attempt at making this positive ). EDIT: Apparently, Tracy is on the rerun being shown. SoapDish mentioned a Tracy/Alan scene. I wonder if this was one of those episodes from February where she only had 1 scene? I read it's the episode where MC exploded. I know we found out in a throwaway line from Tracy that she was there, but of course, we didn't actually SEE her there. She showed up later at GH to inform Monica and then stopped in with Alan for 2 seconds. Yeah, I'm thinking I have this all figured out now, LOL.

So, what were we discussing last year at this time? I was curious, so I went back about 300 pages to page 138, which began with an August 31st post and ended with one on September 2nd… Who posted on this page? I complained about her hair – hooked, if you were there, you would’ve complained too! Haha. I made a video of Tracy and her family. Lainey wondered why Luke wasn’t included. As it turned out, it was a Q only video. nex met a friend for dinner and was not happy that she had to wait extra long to see the Tracy goodness. (Totally understandable!!!) Chapters 64, 65, and 66 of Oh, Baby were added. Some of us worried if Tracy would be MIA during Luke’s brief September return. (Note: She WAS missing for most of it). There was a breakroom party with: MinervaFan, Lainey, Keith, angel, nex, ILoveTracyQ, and me. ILoveTracyQ was looking for Tracy scoops. Keith made a super short (one-word) post. We expected the upcoming weekend to be slow because of the holiday.

I have so much LOVE for LuNacy in that one "throwing rocks at window" scene. Also, was looking at unfinished videos and found the clip of Luke diving into the lake to save Tracy. I HATED that stupid plan, but that scene kind of made all warm and fuzzy. Like, "Wow, look at him! He really, really, really does care and is regretting what he has done." Of course, GH had to ruin it all by having Luke take off to avoid murder charges. Oy.

I can't remember much, but Alan was in the hospital (I guess he hadn't died yet), but he wasn't doing very well. (I don't think it had to with the hostage crisis either). Cut to the Quartermaine mansion. Tracy, in her teal, satin jacket, is talking to Edward (who might have been Jed Allan, not John Ingle). And Jane Elliot - in the dream - is doing a very bad job of pretending to cry, like she's trying too hard. Yet, I still felt badly for Tracy. Meanwhile, Luke is watching this all from the patio. Edward and Tracy wrap up their conversation; Edward goes to the patio and has to practically PUSH Luke to comfort his wife. Oy. Then, Luke hugged her from behind, and she rested her head on his chest, or something like that. The cut to an Edward/Tracy scene again, but I don't remember what was said AT. ALL. I need to have better LuNacy dreams. nex, how do you do it?! LOL.

Well, I would be inclined to believe that, but August 2004 was a good month IIRC. In fact, the week of August 23 that year (I remember specifically 'cause it was my first semester of college, LOL), she was on 4 days in a row (Tuesday thru Friday) and the following Monday as well. She was also on Friday, August 20. Before that, I'm fairly certain she averaged 2 days a week with the Lila Will/Felicia/Heather story. It wasn't until 2005 (once she was paired with Tony) that her August episode counts dropped. Anyway, thanks for the comments on the banner, BSG! But the more I look at it, the more JE's expression scares me. LOL. I think it's 'cause her and Lindze's don't match the other 3...Should've taken that into consideration. Oh well... About the math problem...I left out some information, so I could just get to the TQ part. But, since we're discussing it, there was a number line with points P, T, and Q. T was the midpoint. PT = 5x + 3 and TQ = 7x - 9. So, first you solve for x by setting the segments equal to one another. 5x + 3 = 7x - 9 (subtract 5x from each side) 3 = 2x - 9 (add 9 to each side) 12 = 2x (divide each side by 2) 6 = x Since TQ = 7x - 9, you plug in 6 to get TQ = 7(6) - 9, which comes out to 33, final answer. If you want to check, you can plug 6 into PT, and you get 5(6) + 3 which also comes out to 33, as it should since the segments are equal.
