Double post. We might be getting more TQ than I thought. It's Luke v. Scott with Lulu's lovelife on the line! Thanks devane of SZ! Luke is in for the shock of his life when he gets back this week! (Orly? After everything, *this* is the shock of his life? LOL LOL LOL) How will the news that Lulu's dating Scott's son affect Laura's future? And how will Lulu's involvement with the "dangerously unbalanced" Johnny impact her future with Logan? Start of the week: Lulu makes it clear she wants nothing to do with Logan. "It was the ultimate betrayal," says Julie Marie Berman of Logan's tryst with Maxie. Still hurting, Luke's daughter makes her private pain public by trashing her former suitor at Kelly's as people (including Spin) watch. "She sets him straight, tells him off and calls him all the names he needs to be called, but she doesn't want to show that she misses what she thought they had," admits Berman. Wheels are set in motion to bring Lulu's dad back to Port Charles. Wanting her wandering hubby to find his way back home, Tracy approaches Scott's son with an offer: Simply put, she'll pay him to make nice with his new pop if Logan can bring her info that will allow Luke to return. But everything changes when Scott gives Lulu an offer: if she gives his son a second chance, Scott will drop all the charges against her dad and give custody of Laura back to Nikolas! Lulu agrees to the deal and tells Logan he has another chance. The "hunk" (buhh?) is suprised to say the least. "He's willing to do anything to get her back," says Josh Duhon. "If it means a change of job, a change of attitude, the way he lives. Whatever it takes, he'll do anything to get the girl." Luke returns to confront the good news/bad news scenario: Scott's dropped the charges against him but Lulu is dating his son! Lashing out, Luke blames Tracy, who is quick to point out that he left her to do the best he could. (Of course Luke blames Tracy...GRRRR) My comment: I second that "Of course...GRRRR." Lulu comes clean to Logan, admitting the real reason she's giving him another chance. "He's upset on two fronts. First, he doesn't want any favors from the guy who spent months calling him a con artist and a lizard. Second, he doesn't want her back like this, because he realizes it's not real." lulu goes to Logan after another encounter with Johnny. For his part, Luke tears into Scott for using the woman they both love--Laura--as nothing more than bait to bring their two kids back together. Scott insists if he wasn't involved, Lulu would have reunited with Logan b/c that's what she truly wants. Luke barges into Logan's place and is not happy to find Lulu there. The Spencers exchange a few heated words with Luke trying to make Lulu see his side. "He knows that if he tells her what to do, Lulu will do the exact opposite," says Berman. "But he also has very strong opinions about Scott Baldwin, and her making a deal with him is a choice that Luke doesn't approve of." Back at the Q mansion, Luke asks Tracy how to keep Lulu from his enemy's son but she says there's nothing he can do. My comment: Aww, he asks her. Kin talks about why Scott wants Logan to get another chance (because Scott didn't with Laura.) Lulu tells Luke she's going to keep her details of her private life to herself. "At the end of the day, he can give her his opinion, and she can take it or not take it and then face the consequences," says Berman. "That's how he parents." Luke and Tracy put their heads together. My comment: Teamwork! Teamwork! Lulu and Johnny find a common bond and vent their paternal frustrations w/each other. When she pushes for more info on his dad, he tells her it's off limits. Spinelli spots his favorite blonde with Johnny and dashes off to tell Jason. Is a dark chapter in Luke and Laura's history about to repeat itself thanks to their daughter's involvement with the Mob? Cover, as mentioned earlier, is Lulu/Logan/Luke/Scott: GH Showdown of the Year: Lulu and Logan Reunited! But Lulu's Betrayal, Luke's Return And Scotty's Crazy Scheme Will Change Everything! The article hasn't been summarized yet, but I'm assuming no Tracy. Our poor girl has disappeared from that SL!!! However, she will be seeing Alan indefinitely... Ghost of Alan to Linger Stuart has joked that he's never worked so much since Alan died this past May. (Umm...wasn't it February? Stupid writer!) After six months of being Tracy's ghostly conscience, isn't it time he "crossed over"? Not necessarily! Pic of Ghost!Alan with Tracy Guza: "I'm going to keep him on the canvas indefinitely." The only quandry is how they will keep him on. When Alan died, Emmy winner Damon took the ball and ran with it, causing zealous fans to beg and plead for more light-hearted scenes of Alan trading barbs with Tracy. But since the show said it's Tracy's conscience and *not* a ghost, he was unable to communicate with other characters like counseling Emily or give Jason advice on being a good father. (LOL of course Jason is there and while I love Alan, he'd admit that he was not a good father.) SID asks if the writers are itching to have Alan talk to more characters? Guza: "There's a huge temptation to do that. We would have to graduate him into the realm of apprentice ghost. Right now, we're having so much fun w/Alan and Tracy, I don't see him graduating in the near future. [in the meantime], all I need is Tracy in the room and then Monica saying something about how much she misses him and so forth. You let Stuart come up behind her and say, 'I miss you too. I wish I could tell you. I wish I could talk to you.' We can get the same thing even though he's Tracy's conscience and not literally haunting her. You'll puddle." Question: SoapDish said that Tracy was supposed to be more involved in this Scott SL than what we're seeing. Do you think the posters were referring to the Tracy/Scott/Luke preview from Soap Opera Digest that seemed to have come out months ago? Or, is there something I missed? Sigh. I HATE how there are ZERO spoilers or rumors on Tracy during sweeps beyond "Tracy catches Luke up." And even that is technically before sweeps. I hope she's not sitting on the backburner while TG is getting a ton of screentime this October/November. I'll take Tracy hanging out with whoever (except maybe Carly and Jason). Just let her be on!!! Oh, I might've said this before, but if GH is just going to let LuNacy be the married couple who, other than a few scenes here and there, NEVER are actually together onscreen, then I want them to split up. There is no point to that garbage (should it ever happen - and unfortunately, it looks like it might). EDIT: The speculation at SD is making me sad.

The "story" might change every once in a while, but remember how many times they had the same conversation about that stupid 15 million dollars? GH is just stupid. All the stories go in circles until Sweeps when there is some action that is supposed to CHANGE. EVERYTHING. and then changes nothing at all. Someone who reads the mags: Is is true that TG mentioned something last year about not having a lot of material to submit for the Emmys? (hence the reason, he is being moved into the mob this Sweeps). Anyway, if it's true, that's not too good for JE/Tracy, since she was his leading lady (with supporting screentime) last year. Also, I might be sounding rude here, but did TG sleep his way through Lulu's almost death in the virus epidemic? Did he sleep his way through Laura's return? And maybe, just maybe, if he didn't take 6 and A half months vacation a year, he would have more to choose from. Now, onto more important things: TRACYLUV...

Hair ~ I'm seeing a slight amount of oomphiness in the back, but nowhere else. JMO, but her hair gets a "thumbs down" from me for this episode. Not the worst hair ever, but disappointing after we've been having such good hair days. On a similar topic, what's up with Maxie's hair?! When did she dye it? It looks like Tracy's (sans oompiness all together) in FF mode. More like Kate's overall. And also, when did Georgie's hair get that dark? Wardrobe ~ Colette, were you watching GH when Tracy told Luke she loved him? Then, she had that whole spiel about how his darling, his angel, is gone; she's never coming back, and that she (Tracy) is getting really sick and tired of waiting for him to accept it? That's when she's worn it before. Also, for the MetroCourt drinks a couple episodes later. Again, not her worst jacket IMO, but there are better ones. Yes, I realize I am obsessed. Do you remember? Episode ~ Ready!Set!Random: I'm still loving Ghost!Alan, going on and on about Bobbie's vacation and him wondering why she didn't invite Monica! I wanted to slap Carly more than usual; she had some not-so-nice comments about the Q's, accused Tracy of wanting Lulu home because of Luke (what was the line? You just want Lulu back in your home, so you can get Luke back in your bed). Gah. The hot flashes thing was funny. Especially with the "Just wait" to Carly (or something like that) - As in, "Just wait, this'll happen to you soon enough." Jax was looking so yummy today. I HATE that he's with Carly. HATE!!! Anyway, after Tracy screamed at Alan, I liked how Jax asked how Alan was doing. And small squee, Jax didn't seem mad that Tracy was there, and he even said good-bye to her. UGH to Carly for grabbing Tracy by the wrist even if it was just a second or so. Overall, it was good to see Tracy even if she was wasting her time with Carly. Think she'll be on tomorrow?

Wow. That probably makes NO SENSE. LOL. Anyway... Do we believe this? Sounds logical enough; unfortunately, it looks like Episode Counts for September are up. SON says 6 for JE/Tracy; I'm counting 5. Then, I thought that maybe her contract last November just lasted one year. Anyway, I still don't see them bumping her off, though I am still am in love with my Ghost!Tracy idea that was so beautifully carried out in a fic by MinervaFan. On the topic of fic, thanks to those who've commented on Oh, Baby. And ending IS in site, but I've been informed by some very intuitive people that it's possible I am delaying finishing it because I, subconsciously, don't want it to end. Or something like that. It made more sense in my head. In any case, I think these very intuitive people are right.

But since supervisor is coming tomorrow, my CT let me practice. So if this event is for real, and if Tracy is going (and she damn well better be – I’m so tired of her being on the outside – Think hostage crisis and trainwreck), these are my guesses for wardrobe if it’s recycled: Maybe, this... And if GH hates us and Jane Elliot… Tracy’s funeral attire doesn’t scream “elegant” to me, which is why I chose the above.
