  1. partyperson, it was fine. Nothing out of the ordinary, but nothing terrible. I just feel like holidays were a lot more fun when I was younger. What about you? soapboy, I forgot to tell you, that I love the fanart!
  2. Happy Thanksgiving! partyperson, I remember feeling very sad when Lila (Anna Lee) passed away. I thought it was weird since I didn't know AL, but her death and the Lila tribute was emotional for me. I was drained from all the crying I did. I am sad about JI as well, but I think since I just recently got back into GH, I'm not as "obsessed" as I was in 2004. I, therefore, am not as connected to the show and therefore not as emotional - if that makes sense. I don't think you're pathetic at all. I will say though...I think my obsession/investment in the show is coming back... Not sure what that means for the future except that as long as Tracy and the Q's stay in the spotlight, I will be posting here a lot more than usual.
  3. partyperson, I still hope you're able to enjoy yourself. hooked, thanks! I saw that on another site, but I was hoping it was outdated. This is what I posted: I'm not familiar with the business world, so someone correct me if I'm wrong, but even if Tracy isn't left any stock, she would still remain CEO of the company, correct? That is unless the board votes her out in the future. That would be very cruel for Edward to cut Tracy out of the will...She always wanted Daddy's love and approval, and even in death, she still doesn't get it??? I know they made peace in the last scene at the hospital, but I'm sure Edward's will was drafted before that, so perhaps he cut her out when they weren't on good terms. But still, it's always been made very clear that Tracy loves her father, so for him to cut her out is just wrong. I don't think she's done anything worse to him than the rest of the family (with the exception of refusing to give him his medicine in 1980), but that was 32 years ago and even then, she was crying out how the only man she ever loved was him. But, anyway, 32 years was a long time ago, and people change. There has to be a story coming from the will, I guess, and cutting her out would provide one... Tracy would be furious! (and probably saddened as well, though I don't think she'd let most of her family know that).
  4. You should pick the title. Whatever you choose will be good. For Thanksgiving - I'm going by my parents. My sister and brother will be there as well as my Grandma, 2 aunts and 2 uncles, and some cousins. We haven't seen each other since Christmas. Crazy! Speaking of, I put my Christmas tree up tonight...Last year, I got my cat in December, so I never experienced putting up a tree with a cat before... He was so curious, and still is... Last year, he was very much into the electrical cords (I got protective covering) and sprawling out on the lower branches, but this year, he is like "Ooh! Ornaments! Shiny!" I hope the tree is still standing in the morning!!! (and if it's not, I hope that he doesn't get hurt as it falls down). He also just found his way underneath the tree skirt and fell asleep under there... Aww. What are you doing for Thanksgiving?
  5. Hi TQ. Good to "see" you! So, what were people's thoughts of today in general? I enjoyed it overall. The majority of the episode focused on the Q's, as it should have. Nice scenes with Skye/AJ and Tracy/Ned, and I do hope we have more of Tracy/Ned interacting alone because it was much too short! I thought Tracy's monologue where she remembered her childhood and the family she grew up with (Edward, Lila, Alan, and Monica) and how there's no one else left that has those memories was very sad, yet probably the most moving part of the episode. I thought Tracy wanting Skye out was true to Tracy's character. I also liked Ned on Tracy's side when it came to AJ. And I thought it was sweet how Monica was sympathetic towards Tracy while AJ was ready to give her a hard time (Tracy wasn't yet onscreen). AJ/Ned were good too... They are definitely revisiting that rivarly. Lila Rae is so cute I totally did not see the Heather part coming, when she entered the Q's and then later would hold Skye at knife point. Were we spoiled for that? And what does Heather know that the Quartermaines don't? Something about the outdated will? I loved the singing at the end, and I think what I loved most about it was that Tracy finally joined, something I don't remember her doing before. Not sure what to make of the argument scenes. While I think these scenes are very Quartermaine-esque, I sometimes don't like them because you can't figure out what everyone is saying. I suppose if you chose one character's voice to focus on at a time, and then re-played the scene and did it for each character, you might be able to figure it out, but that's just too much. In the past, I've checked transcripts, and it all it says is "everyone argues." I wonder how hard it is to act those scenes 'cause you have however many people yelling at one time. What's in store for next week? Edward's will is read, and Tracy's supposedly left with nothing? I know that Tracy/Ned will be on the same side for the next 2 episodes. Wish he was staying longer. How long is Skye around?
  6. Let me get this shallow part of this post out of the way - Tracy's wardrobe = SO distracting! That said, wonderful job today by Sean, Leslie, and Jane! Tracy had a good speech to Edward. I think that was my favorite scene. I really thought Tracy's watery eyes and cracked voice was perfect. But I also liked when Tracy was so focused on calling ambulance, and Monica reminded her how she should be spending time with her father. Hmm, what else? I enjoyed the Tracy/Monica hug. When was the last time that happened? It couldn't have been 1993, right?! That's much too long ago. Hope we get some more bonding scenes between them. Nice to see the family coming together in a time of crisis, and I am glad that Tracy permitted AJ to see Edward. What did she say to him? Maybe "hurry?" I am going to forget what Michael said about AJ pushing Carly down the stairs since he wasn't there and just focus on the Michael with the Quartermaines. He fits in quite nicely now that AJ's back. And the baby that played Danny today is absolutely adorable. I "aww'ed" when he held Edward's finger. Who else caught Danny's little cry/squeal when Monica said that Edward's last word was Lila? Obviously, that squeal wasn't planned, but it worked well. I hope tomorrow doesn't disappoint. In the previews, I smiled at AJ and Skye: I didn't know you were coming. I didn't know you were alive. And then, poor Tracy, wondering how she's going to do this alone, and then Ned (it has to be Ned even though the preview didn't show his face) walked up behind her. Those are going to be good scenes. Such a shame he's only back for 3 days... hooked, what's Tracy air time look like after Edward's will is read? I feel like we haven't gotten much information on future Quartermaine stories, and I am worried that Edward's death is going to be the last we see of Tracy for awhile...We've gotten way too much good material with them for it to just stop all of a sudden... Maybe some kind of ELQ battle where Tracy fights to get her share, especially if Edward cut her out of the will... But she's still CEO no matter what, right? Unless the board votes her out...
  7. ^^^ In that clip that hooked posted of the Thanksgiving episode: https://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=228466530618067&saved%3Fcid=twitter_soapnetghsneak I just watched it a few more times, and it definitely has to be Lila Rae... When AJ opens the door to see Skye, there is a little girl next to her. Then, in another clip, a little girl is hugging Monica. Off topic, but Robin Christopher looks really pretty in that promo. I know she always looks pretty, but her hair/outfit/smile is just perfect in the promo...
  8. Who's the girl with the bow, hugging Monica? Lila Rae, all grown up? I am fine without a funeral as long as there is still a tribute, and it sounds like there will be. I just hope we are not disappointed. Thank goodness Tracy will only be in that hideous outfit for one day (tomorrow). I laughed at the previews: Monica: I really can't stand you. Tracy: Thank you! I feel the same about you. She used her high-pitched voice that she used to have in the 90s.
  9. partyperson, I'm glad you had a good day yesterday. hooked, I saw your post on SoapDish about Tracy wearing curtains the day that Edward dies, and it made me think that once upon a time, she actually had business like outfits... The quality isn't so good on these, but it was the best I could do: This was after the hotel fire in February 2004, and I think it was also when Ned/Tracy teamed up to try and get control of ELQ, but then Skye/Luke stepped to make sure they didn't get their way... I need to see if I have clips of that because it was so awesome to see them on the same side. The last clip I have from that month is February 18, 2004 and then, I don't have clips from that year again until May 6, 2004, so I know I'm missing stuff in between. Actually, I take that back. I might have some April 2004 on another CD, but I'd have to look...
  10. ^^^ I used to make fan art all the time and was (and still am) obsessed with Tracy's hair. So...to show my feelings on the subject, I used have to that banner in my signature. LOL.
  11. halee, thanks so much for the clip!!! So good to see that scene again (and the ones before it). Can't wait for Monica/Tracy coming up... And it looks like Leslie Charleson debuted a new hair cut this week, and it has so much oomph, and I wish Jane's had that much oomph too... *hugs Monica's oomph* And yes, Tracy was Tracy today... This is so weird to see her and especially Monica on so much like this!!! I wonder if Leslie will still get to be on so much once this AJ is alive story starts merging into other stories...
  12. hooked, as always, thank you for everything! I appreciated the scans (ditto to the outfit) and the information. Looking forward to Ned/Tracy. I love the scenes when they are not at each other's throats... Also looking forward to Monica/Tracy finding common ground. We don't get these scenes often, so I'm going to enjoy it... I was actually re-watching Tracy's 1993 banishment on YouTube the other day, and it reminded me of the scene where Monica found Tracy on the couch and Tracy told her how "Daddy banished her from the castle," and Monica ended up comforting her... Even calling her "sweetie" if I am remembering correctly... That scene was not on YouTube, but it was part of that story line. Anyone have that clip by chance??? I used to have the dialogue memorized... In fact, I transcribed the scene several computers ago -- haha. I may have it backed up on a floppy disc, so now I just have to find that disc, and then find a computer that still has that component. Tracy in previews tomorrow with Monica and AJ... Oh - did anyone else LOVE when Carly thought she had the last line when she told Monica how it was too bad Monica and Alice were going to be in prison because now AJ wouldn't have anyone to visit him. And then Leslie Charleson as Monica had the best facial expression and delivery in response to that: "He'll have his son." Ouch. Love it!!! partyperson, I would do whatever you think is best, but from experience, it might be a good idea to see who you have the most clips of... Can you make the video work with just Tracy and Paul? Like, do you have enough scenes of them? If not, maybe include all 3 relationships... BTW, I know I have to send you clips still.
  13. hooked, what are Tracy's air dates this week, do you know? In today's episode, Tracy escaped the boathouse (offscreen), and then when Monica asked Alice where Tracy was, she entered the den through the patio doors, announcing, "Here I am!" Her hair was dishelved (it looked better than usual - ironic), and she had an oar in her hand and was threatening Alice with it. She actually knocked Alice down, but then Alice took the fireplace poker, and the 2 basically engaged in a sword fight, as Tracy yelled for Monica to get out of the way and told Alice she was sick to death of her (Alice). Meanwhile, Monica gets caught in the middle, protecting a vase. In the next scene, Tracy accidentally smashed a vase of flowers on the table with the oar, and Monica insisted they stop before they tear the whole house apart. Tracy responded, "You're right" and acknolwedged it was a mistake. Then she said, "I don't want to hurt Alice, well, actually I do. But I really want to hurt AJ." (paraphrased) Tracy then went to dial the police, but Monica said that Carly already took care of that, and Tracy was pleased and told Monica to remind Tracy to send Carly a gift basket. Monica couldn't believe that Tracy didn't care for AJ at all, and Tracy fixed that by reporting Alice and Monica to the authorities, so that AJ could have company. In the next scene, Anna was with Monica and Alice, as Monica was getting handcuffed. Anna apologizes, and Tracy jokes that she (Tracy) is devasted - devasted, she repeated. As Monica and Alice were being taken away by a couple officers, Tracy told Monica not to worry, that she was going to take very good care of Monica's house. Then she said, "Don't come back, y'all, ya hear?" She could not stop grinning. My thoughts: The oar and fireplace poker scenes were campy, and Tracy's so much more mature than that, but at least she was an "equal player" and not getting humilated by Alice. The dialogue was pretty funny, especially since it was all going on at once, and you really got a sense of how dysfunctional the family can be sometimes. There was also a laugh out loud moment for me right in the beginning with Tracy/Alice/the oar when she was like, "Come here, Alice. Let me fix your hair!" The way she said it was perfect. On a different topic, Tracy was just absolutely glowing about Monica and Alice's arrest; she looked really pretty...
  14. Do we know who the guy behind the mask is?! Tracy's airtime the last 3 days has not been good... Is she on Monday? I know she is on Tuesday, when she is escapes. I think Guza made Tracy the butt of a lot more jokes than the current team has... She was made foolish for a long time under Guza... ILTQ, we do sometimes, but like I said, I am more easily able to let things go now in regards to GH... She can be like "Their scenes are boring," and I don't feel the need to provide evidence to the contrary. Also, my Mom judges characters based on their stories... If she likes the story, she likes the character... So, sometimes, she likes Tracy - haha.
  15. ^^^ hooked, I'm with you. These new writers/producers are very good for Jane Elliot and Leslie Charleson. Hope it keeps up... Tracy was tied to Luke for way too long, and now she's involved with other things... I am trying to think of things she had outside of Luke...Does the Sam and ELQ thing count??? Does Ghost!Alan count? I know Luke was involved in that though... Does interfering in Lulu's love life count? Also, back to Luke...She had some good stuff one summer with Robert/Dillon/Lulu (and actually, that goes beyond 5 years, as it was 2006), but that also can go back to Luke... So, the only thing I can recall is the Same/ELQ thing in early 2007. That's crazy. Tracy/Monica have gotten so many meaty scenes lately... Who would have thought?! I bet this is driving my Mom and sister crazy (remember how they were always pro-Jason/Sam/Sonny/Carly... Heheheh... My turn to have some fun. Actually, though, I am less invested than I used to be (and maybe a little more mature), so they can diss my characters all they want, and I'm like, "Whatever." I used to take it way too personally...
  16. ILTQ, ah, I get what you're saying. You know now that I think about it, she was filler for the Halloween Haunted Star episode as well, so maybe it was more than once or twice... I know she was getting a lot of good content with Monica, a lot with Joe, a lot during the virus story...So, I don't know...Maybe recently some of her stuff has been filler, but overall, in my opinion, the new writers have done a pretty good job of bringing her back to a supporting character and not window dressing. In some episodes, she even had a lead role, which seldom happened with Guza... So, I'm pretty satisfied overall. I think today was the first time she was actually the butt of a joke with these writers...It reminded me of the last time Alice held her in a choke-hold because Tracy wasn't nice to "Mr. Luke" back in 2005. It was sickening watching her and Luke get a kick out of it, while Tracy struggled to breathe. Anyway, I am trying to think of other instances where she could have been laughed at with these writers, and the Joe stuff comes to mind. I think it was was handled pretty well and not used to make fun of Tracy...I don't remember actually, though, when this new team came on, so maybe there was stuff before that. partyperson, I think Tracy would have threatened to call the police, but then Monica would have gotten her to understand on a mother-to-mother level what she did and why she did it. I think as for mourning AJ, that was just something Tracy said because she doesn't like him, so she would make stuff up and try to put him down... But I agree, most of the dialogue was just off...
  17. ILTQ, I do think Tracy was filler yesterday, but other than that, I feel that when she is on, she is on for a fair amount. Today, though, might be the other exception to that. She was on in the beginning but was passed out for the rest of the episode. Maybe it was supposed to be funny - Alice being proud, AJ praising her, AJ suggesting they kill Tracy, but I didn't find it amusing. By the way, AJ was just kidding about killing Tracy, but it was like it was a big joke that she was passed out on the living room floor... At least AJ cared enough to check her pulse (even though he was singing Alice's praises at the same time) and at least Monica asked Alice, "She's not hurt, is she?" Oh, and then Monica said she wouldn't kill Tracy because she's a doctor and values human life... I think a more appropriate answer to AJ would have been, "What the hell? Are you out of your mind? What's wrong with you?" Just my opinion. I think Dante is a lame detective if he believes Monica's made-up story that Tracy was calling Son of Skittles a fugitive after he escaped from the barn... Tracy may have her hysterical moments, but that was just way out there...I think, in the real world, Dante would come or send an officer to the house to make sure everything was okay. hooked, thanks for the info. Interesting that Tracy will be on with Liz/Sabrina. I like to see her mixing it up outside her usual circle. Tracy's face was the last shot of the show today...Not sure when that last happened... Overall, disappointed with today. I hope Tracy wakes up tomorrow and kicks some butt.
  18. ^^^ Thanks! I feel like I may have read that Michael/Tracy/boathouse thing somewhere, but it totally had slipped my mind. It's been so great to be a Quartermaine fan lately... Monica is actually dominating the screen (who would have thought?!), and Tracy and AJ have things to do as well... Seeing Alan was a nice surprise the other day... I just wish Ned could return full-time... Build the family up again - a little at a time, whatever it takes... This is like my Dream GH. I wonder how long it will last?!? hooked, our spoiler queen - any ideas???
  19. Lainey, after AJ was pronounced dead, Monica went into AJ’s room alone. She told him that she hoped he finally was at peace, that she would do anything she could to let him know he was a worthwhile person, that she would try to teach him to like himself, and that she loved him. After her speech, AJ wheezed, and Monica saw that he came back to life. In order to save him from a life in a prison (as many people wanted to see him pay), she and Steven Webber faked his death, autopsy, and snuck him out of the hospital. Meanwhile, upon AJ’s return, we learned that he had completed physical therapy and no longer needed a wheelchair or cane to be mobile (he was left paralyzed after falling off the Quartermaine balcony with Jason). As for Tracy – I think the old spoilers about her being arrested were false, and that this most recent spoiler refers to her escaping from wherever Alice and Monica put her to keep her quiet about AJ. I could be wrong though, but that’s my take on it. She’ll probably be locked in the freezer again. Also, for those who may or may not know, Kelly Monaco and at least one of the babies that play Danny recently taped with Jane Elliot.
  20. I thought that was the last time she saw Ned (November 2007), but that she last saw Dillon in December 2007 right after Georgie's funeral and when Luke was having his heart surgery? I am OK without a funeral for Edward, as long as there is some kind of tribute, and it sounds like there will be.
  21. I won't hate on you (), but I am/was not a fan of Sonny/Jason and their mob dealings...
  22. Just some comments about today's episode... I felt a Luke/Tracy "girlfriend" vibe when he was helping her undress right there in the living room - haha. I kept wondering when/if she was going to run out of clothes to take off, and then in the next scene, she took off her fake eye-lashes - haha. I really, really miss Jane's longer, oomphy hair; when she took the wig off, I was like "Nooooooooo!" I was glad that Luke brought up Tracy talking to Alan after he died in connection to Monica talking to her "deceased" son. Laughed at AJ's "boo" to Carly. LOVED seeing Alan back with Monica, AJ, and Tracy, though I wish he/Tracy had dialogue. Found it strange but good that there were 2 nostalgic flashbacks in the same episode (Monica/Alan and Duke/Anna). Didn't like Luke messing with Tracy's emotions by kissing her on the lips at the end. It was like BizarreGH today, like a different show really...A good one, overall.
  23. What did AJ say to Tracy upon running into her? He mumbled something, and I couldn't figure it out. I heard the part where he said "Even in costume, I know who you are Tracy." Then, he told her to be afraid, to be very afraid...His costume was creepy!!! I laughed at LuNacy as they were entering the party. They were so fun together. And if Luke wanted to spy, he should have put something more over his face...It was obviously him. partyperson, I did get it. I will try this weekend to send more clips your way.
  24. A little bit of Tracy today. Nothing earth shattering. I thought it was hypocritcal of her to basically make fun of Monica talking to her son's spirit (Monica was actually talking to AJ but pretended she was talking to Jason's spirit). Also, Tracy made a comment that the real problem would be when Jason starts talking back. Uh, Tracy? Remember Alan? After he died, you had conservations for months with him!!! Oy... Would have been a nice bit of continuity for Luke to bring that up when she was telling him about Monica. That photograph of Little Jason as the football player and AJ as the grim reaper was totally photoshopped!!! The grim reaper part, I mean...It was so phony, like a cartoon. I couldn't believe they kept showing the same photo.
