I'm sure cast members are upset, but the following might just be "real life fiction" (if that's even the proper term). Just passing it along... [Leslie Charleson and Jackie Zeman] are asking to be let go because of SD and because of what they feel are the continuing ageist bias practices at GH currently. TG and TR are rumored as lending their support as well. There have been lots of meetings with LC and JZ - I heard that execs are trying to convince them to stay - but LC has been inconsolable. Execs, stupidly, are surprised that fan backlash has been high. Some of the younger actors on set are now upset because they feel they are being blamed for SD leaving - but JI is telling most that it is not them but execs that are to be held responsible. It is not a happy time now, and SD has been visibly shaken and upset through all of this. JE and TR have had to take KMc from the studios a couple of times as she was seen crying openly regarding SD's firing. Sometimes in my job you learn a lot just by listening, and everyone is upset about SD. That is all I know. The fact that TR is mentioned has people wondering, since we all thought he hasn't been filming. Well, since he hasn't been let go, I guess it's possible that he's still around on set and such. There is also another rumor from a different "insider" - Scott Clifton is no longer with General Hospital.

There's some discussion of Sam. Alan is hilarious: "Sam ALSO quit the job at GH, and I gave that one to her." (I'm leaving out context. Sorry!) Lots of lines about the Q's family ways, who's got approval/who doesn't. Mentions of Ned and AJ. Monica to Tracy: At least your sons are both alive. Me: Ouch. Anyway, Dillon has this whole spiel, goes on and on. Edward accuses Tracy of putting Dillon up to this. The word "nincompoop" is thrown aroung AGAIN. Alan sides with Tracy. It's nice. Edward: Jason is the ONLY Quartermaine worth a damn. Tracy has a bit to say about that. Wants Daddy to spare them of Jason's "imaginary virtues." Edward mentions Jason's going to give him his heir. Alan: Is Jason having a child? Edward's all, "I don't have confirmation, blah, blah, blah, but it's going to happen" (or something). That's all for the Q's. Well, Dillon and Lulu have a bit more. If it's any consolation, Wizard is reporting that Tracy (along with Luke, Lucky, Dillon, Monica, Tracy, Mike, Mac, Georgie and Edward) fear the worst for their loved ones, when they learn of the hostage situation at the hotel. Of course, this also means Emily/Skye/Jason are the Q's with Alan when he dies (unless he dies at GH later). But, if I'm going to be positive, yay! Tracy and Luke are outside TOGETHER during Sweeps. SD's latest anonymous insider says he/she isn't sure whether or not to consider what's coming next for the Q's an actual full blown story. HOWEVER, the Q's will be having stuff to do, centering on the Rick Webber mystery, Alan's death (heart attack), and Jason/the Q heir. Also, and I quote: "When Luke returns, there will be some more Tracy/Luke to look forward to. He'll comfort her after Alan's death a bit. Jane Elliot fans will probably be happy about that piece of news." Another insider: Sweeps is not going to be nearly as exciting as the spoilers are indicating. Look for a lot of mob and little hospital. The mob will get the action and be in the hotel the hospital will get the boring stuff. They story will lay out in such a way that if sweeps fails it can all be blamed on too much hospital. [There is] no stand off at the hospital. That will be at MC. The hospital will not get any good story until the aftermath when the injured are brought in. And the mob will then get the majority of the story again. Alan's death is not about the Q's. It is about Jason dealing with learning about fatherhood while dealing with what he has done to his own father. Sam and Jason will not be together when this happens. Sam is getting closer to Edward and Alexis. And another: January 30 - Sam is more determined than ever to have a baby, after another encounter with Tracy, in which Tracy calls Sam "Angela." Jason talks some mad man down and probably saves the day. Somehow Alan dies, and Sam goes back to work at ELQ. Something about Edward/Sam possibly bonding. I don't know. It made me go ACK. I want to know where TRACY and LUKE are at in all of this. *pouts* You know, maybe I shouldn't pout, 'cause the person who spilled this had mainly only Sam stuff. And that brings me to today's episode...Tracy?!? ON?!? 2 days in a row? *checks to see if the sky is falling* No, we're good. But wow. What a nice surprise. 5 segments. The first one is a quick one. She sneaks up on Monica. But she appears twice in the next one, and twice in the last one. Oh, and there was the PERFECT opportunity for Tracy to slap Monica today, and she didn't. Basically, Monica accused her of only wanting Lulu around, so she (Tracy) could have a ticket to Luke. If Monica had upped the b-tch just a teeny bit and said something like, "You don't care about Lulu or her feelings. You just want her here because she's your ticket to Luke!" (or something), then we just might have gotten a slap. In any case, 'twas nice to see Monica/Tracy together. And OMG, guess what?!? She let her robe OPEN today. There was a brown garment. And I HEART her necklace. Anyway...At the start of the episode, it seemed like Tracy was on the kids' side, but she's totally on Monica's (and the family's) side now: "Monica said I should send you (Lulu) off to college. I'm beginning to think she's right." (something along those lines) But YAY for Tracy today! YAY! YAY! YAY! Edited again because the garment was brown; not light brown/beige. Not that it matters, but still. LOL.

I will edit in more stuff later, but for now, I basically just want to let everyone know I'm in the breakroom. I got nothing else going on right now, and I've been off the computer for much of the day, so I figured there was no harm. Edit: Eeeeeeeeeeee! She was on! She was on! She was on! And...She said "crazy ass stunt." LOL. I didn't realize how much I missed Lulu/Tracy scenes. And the part where Tracy said something along the lines of, "Whatever you're up to...I hope it helps you miss Laura a little less because I know what it's like to lose a mother." And then Lulu responded, "Thank you, Step Mon--Tracy. Thank you." That was SO sweet. Also, I didn't watch the Lulu/Laura scene, but I read she had some nice stuff to say about Tracy. Regarding Sam/Tracy: I'm not so sure about the business thing, Michele, but other than that I agree. As for the college degree, I was remembering the Robert/Tracy scene in the freezer, where she said, "Some of us went to college, not secret agent school," (which is what hookedongh mentioned, and I took that to mean as she did go. Whether or not she got the degree, I have no idea. But, I still find it ridiculous that Sam, of all people, should be the one to point out Tracy's error. And I HATE that since Tracy's been CEO, it's mainly been used as a plot-point to highlight how incompetent Tracy is. WTHever. BTW, for those interested in the days Tracy will be on next week, per Cable Guide Spoilers, she’s on Friday for sure, and maybe Thursday as well. Breakroom?
