Hola todos. OT: I am so tired. I've been out and about since 5:30am, and some of that time was spent in the cold (NOT fun, especially since parts of my hair FROZE). Unfortunately, I've had NO downtime until about 20 minutes ago, unless you count the less than 10 minute "reunion" I had with a former professor, who was so happy to see me, by the way, LOL. Too bad I don't have that effect on all people, huh? Heh. Anyway, the day is far from over, my friends, FAR from over, and I better get a very short nap in before I go off to what better not be a boring meeting. But first...Many thanks for the fanfic feedback! ILoveTracyQ, are you referring to the the "She's Everything" video? 'Cause I didn't make that one. If you're referring to the "Keep Holding On," then thanks for the feeback! And woot! Tracy's on today. I won't be able to watch at all 'til later this evening, but SQUEE, she's on! On a sort of shallow note, Jane Elliot has been looking soooooooo physically drained lately. People on SZ were mentioning it too. Anyone here agree? *sniff* It's so sad. Happy Valentine's Day (again, heh) OH, BABY: Chapter 86 and Chapter 87 She's Everything (for knh) About today's episode...I LOVED the facial expressions. So. Good. But some more dialogue would've been nice. Edward tells Tracy not to waste her breath on Skye, yet he's the one going on and on and on. And I don't have a problem with it; I just want Tracy to get some words in too! I wish we would have gotten a TQ reaction shot to Skye literally shoving her out of the way. So, Tracy thanked Luke in one scene. It was cute, and while a kiss would have been better, the hug was still nice. We got physical contact, you know? Bright side, folks. Although...I AM a bit jealous Luke is getting all this screentime with Skye, Dillon, Lucky, etc this Sweeps. (even if he did put Skye down today: "You're not the person I thought you were." Ouch.) And LUKE mentioned TRACY in regards to the whole Lorenzo/Skye/briefcase thing. Skye was all, "I told you everything I knew." And Luke's like, "That's not until after Tracy pointed me to you." (something along those lines) Yay for any bits of LuNacy we get! So, Tracy's supposed to comfort Dillon pretty soon, right? I want a Trillon hug!!!

TracyLuv, about closing the colleges...yesterday was just the 2nd time in 20 years that the campus closed down completely. I'll be hoping that your class gets cancelled tomorrow.

Morning folks. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! hooked, school didn't get cancelled completely. The high school did, so I didn't have to worry about getting there and observing/helping out by 7 in the morning (SQUEE). However, the college classes resume at noon today. Good news: Guess who was supposed to have her linguistics BEFORE then??? Unfortunately, one of my other professors rescheduled yesterday's evening class to TODAY. SQUEE! I don't have to be up at 5:30 in the morning tomorrow! I won't get into details, but SQUEE! I have to get back to linguistics, but I'll try and make an appearance tonight (someone post a link!) since I don't have to be up so darn early anymore. Oh, and just a warning...The other boards are going after Tracy in light of the recent spoiler. I'm not surprised, because what Tracy is doing...Well, it's just not cool. Sorry, nex, even if she's trying to get the money away from Skye or from Jason, she's still going against Alan's wishes. Week of Feb. 26th Quartermaine Spoilers (and a LuNacy spoiler for the Week of March 5th) _ _ _ _ _ From SoapKing/Ryan (of this SD and this site): Why is Jason mentioned in every single paragraph??? And "uncharacteristically emotional?" Gah. Why can't he just die? I get that Jason should be allowed to grieve, and I might be jumping to conclusions, but it seems like JASON'S part in this is overshadowing everyone else's. Surprise, surprise. Except not, 'cause life in PC revolves around Sonny, Carly, Jason, and Sam. Blah. I hope Tracy gets to go off on him. Also, you can all count on me to tally up the minutes of Jason's good-bye scene with Alan and compare it to the rest of the Q's. I'll be standing by with a stop-watch. You all know I'm not kidding either. Finally, for those wondering where Luke is this week, he and Elizabeth are having a nice conversation about forgiveness. Laura's forgiveness saved Luke's life, and so Elizabeth's forgiveness will save Lucky's. Something along those lines. I'd have to reread. Sorry, folks! Looks like a LuNacy light week, but either way, we know JE is gonna ROCK! I mean "Tracy takes Alan's death hard" can mean A LOT of things. Maybe we'll finally get that breakdown... BTW, just to reinterate, I hate Jason. <--This is Jason in his mercenary gear. And this is me --> DIE JASON!!!!!!! And let Monica get amnesia so she can forget you ever existed, and we'll never her talk about your "wonderfulness" ever, EVER again. Hmm, Edward might need to get amnesia too, so he no longer goes on and on and on about your courage and "virtues" and all that. OK. I'm going to stop. I'm. Just. So. Frustrated. Stupid Jason. And stupid Spanish linguistics. If I barely know what fonemas, alófonos, alveolares, palatales, the little funky symbols and blah, blah, blah are in ENGLISH, how am I supposed to know what they are in SPANISH??? Psst...TracyLuv, our future speech pathologist...What's the different between a phonological transcription and a phonetic one? I know one uses / / and the other uses [ ], but I think I'm missing the point, LOL. Sorry for going OT twice in the same day. Edit: Um, I have another spoiler. It's from SoapKing/Ryan. And the good news is LUKE AND TRACY ARE TEAMING UP (on Wednesday, March 7th, the day after Alan's funeral *sniff*). The bad news is that they're teaming up to get their hands on Alan's money. Do I think the money should go to Monica and Tracy before it goes to Jason? Absolutely. Do I think Tracy would try and go after the money? Sure. BUT, this spoiler doesn't sound so good. Alan will be barely be cold in his grave, and his baby sis is going to try to get all of his life savings. This is baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. Someone make it seem better than it is, LOL. We wanted LuNacy on the same team, and we get this. Gah, Guza, the king of "be careful what you wish for."

I'll recap today's Quartermaine scenes... A replay from yesterday, as Alan collapses and Monica tries to go after him. The Q's (Edward, Tracy, Dillon, and Alice...wow, what a dwindling family) are watching the TV in the den. Alice wants to know why they're shooting at "Dr. Quartermaine." Edward wants Alan to get up off the ground. Dillon says he can't. Tracy panics and says, "Don't say that he can't!" Dillon points out that Luke and Lucky rescued Alan. Tracy turns off the TV and heads to the hospital. Outside at MetroCourt, the paramedics are shocking Alan. Monica is scared. He doesn't have a pulse. The Q's arrive at GH and are interested in Alan's condition. Epiphany, maybe Dr. Ford too, say he's on his way. They know he had a heart attack. Then, Alan, Monica, and the paramedics come through the elevator. Tracy doesn't get to speak, but JE still rocks. Edward tells Alan the family has room for just one heart patient, and that's him (Edward). Skye joins. Tracy and Monica aren't happy. Monica takes off with Alan after calling Skye a "lying b-tch." Skye takes off, tears in her eyes. She begs Lorenzo to remember the code. People she cares about might die. Meanwhile, Monica decides to operate on Alan despite what Dr. Ford says. Tracy, Dillon, and Edward are all at different spots in the waiting area. Dillon's worried 'cause Tracy is too quiet. She says that yelling right now isn't going to get her anywhere. She assures Dillon that if Alan dies, people will pay. Skye will pay. Monica begins operating on Alan upstairs. Later, Edward, Tracy, and Dillon pay Lorenzo a visit. Edward threatens him. Back upstairs, Monica continues on Alan. They start to lose him. And for those following Luke's role in this hostage crisis...He is such an idiot. Lulu is about to get shot because of him, and then Elizabeth. That's how the episode ends. No Tracy previews, but Monica is in the OR, trying to save Alan.

¡Hola todos! I was just going to post about the SNOW!!!! This is good and bad. OFF-TOPIC... Good:I didn't have to teach this morning. Bad: I have yet to get a hold of my cooperating teacher, and I'm REALLY hoping I don't have to come up with another lesson for Thursday's class. It'd be fine if I could just teach tomorrow (you know, just move class ahead one day), but noooooooooo...Ms. Q can't teach at 9am on Wednesdays...especially this Wednesday 'cause she has un examen en la clase de lingüística. Also...I was supposed to meet with a former professor this Thursday, which is now going to coincide with my teaching time. Am I making sense? LOL. Good: Classes are cancelled!!!!! Ms. Q is excited 'cause she was scheduled to peer teach today, and now, she gets a couple extra days to prepare! Bad: I get an email from a certain teacher requesting that we have our 2 and half our evening class TOMORROW instead. Good: Ms. Q is getting school related stuff done!!!! Bad: I am still in my pajamas, have yet to brush my teeth, or eat breakfast/lunch. Err...I did have a cookie and orange juice. Does that count? LOL. And wow...How many times did I go from talking about myself in 1st person to 3rd person??? NOW, I SHALL DISCUSS TRACY QUARTERMAINE!!!!! nex, you are so awesome for editing the clips!!! Lady Asthon, we are all very thankful you will be able to get clips up for us in the near future!!! I am quite excited about this supposed LuNacy bonding...But GHH2 isn't very accurate, unless the spoilers have been reported elsewhere first. Speaking of spoilers and such...Tracy shares a vulnerable moment with Luke if the anonymous poster at SoapDish is accurate. Has to be about Alan. I bet the Tracy/Lulu hospital scene will be when she warns her about Scotty. hooked, interesting speculation on the Edward/Tracy conversation. I am still hoping it means nothing though. ILoveTracyQ, I hope Tracy's involvement in the murder mystery lasts more than 2 minutes. Ooh...I had a Tracy dream last night!!! She and Edward were on the couch watching the TV (which sounds like it could happen). Tracy was still in the same clothes as we've seen her in. But then...Tracy was SO DRUNK. She was laughing obnoxiously at the TV and all full of smiles, and she started leaning over (like leaning to the right to rest her head on the couch, I guess), but then she saw ALAN come out of the hotel, and looked so sad and so shocked. And with that...I am outta here. Sorry about the icky weather, MinervaFan. And SQUEE! Tracy has to be on today! Right?!?

I'll be here 8:30-ish for the chat. About LuNacy ending: I should have clarified. In the event that LuNacy do split up, I'd be upset at first 'cause I love and adore them: They SPARKLE! They just FIT! And there's a ton of potential that Guza would be throwing out the window. However, I also agree with ILoveTracyQ and MinervaFan. Couples on soaps don't last forever, and as long as TQ still got airtime, I'd get over it. But, as it stands, LuNacy is her ticket to screentime because unfortunately, in Guza's little world, Tracy is basically NOTHING without her man. Oooh, pretty, MinervaFan! *gets excited about Lady Ashton's clips*

Ugh...... _ _ _ _ _ I have 2 reasons for the "ugh." Reason #1: Genie returning means NO LuNacy. It's sad for us, but it's true (at least IMO). Reason #2: Why, why, why did GH have to bring back all these cast members for Luke to interact with? Seriously. When Skye/Luke were paired, it was ALL Skye/Luke, ALL the time (and I enjoyed them, I really, really did). But then Tracy/Luke get paired, and I enjoyed them even more, so of course, GH brings back Robert, Holly, and Scotty and gives them all of our girl's screentime!!!! (not too mention, Luke is also occupied with his kids...) Anyone see what I mean? Maybe I'm jumping the gun, but...I'd hate to see JE/Tracy get the shaft again. Hopefully, Tracy will still get to hang out with Scotty/Luke. And if not? Psst...Tracy, go find Jax.

RECAP _ _ _ _ _ I wouldn't call her an extra, but despite the fact that she had 5 scenes, her actual screentime was minimal, which is what happens when you have all the Q's in one room for most of the episode. Ooh! She did get a TON of awesome facial expressions though...Tracy and Dillon join Edward, Monica, and Alice in the den, and tells them that the gunman is releasing a hostage. The TV is on, the Q's discuss the hostage crisis, and Dillon brings up the fact that he stole Alan's PDA. Tracy wants details, and Dillon explains. The Q's are NOT pleased. Edward calls Lulu Nancy Drew. Dillon explains more. He didn't want an innocent woman, Laura, taking the fall. The Q's are unsure of whether or not to believe what Laura said. Edward and Tracy agree that what happened was tragic, but Tracy reminds them that Laura's condition is incurable. Alice: You hope. Tracy's a bit hurt and disgusted. Can't remember when, but Monica's recent affair with Rick Webber comes up. Monica reveals that she might have loved Rick at one time, but Alan is the one she belonged with. Alan brought her into the Quartermaine family. Edward recalls the first time he met her. Tracy said she always thought Alan married beneath him, it was the second worst mistake he ever made. Edward reminds her that she's the current Mrs. Luke Spencer. Monica has a wonderful, yet sad spiel (considering what's coming up) about her and Alan's relationship. Dillon's a poop head, and Monica gets in a line: Until you've been married on and off for decades, you can just stay out of this (something like that). Monica decides to leave the Q's and go to MetroCourt. She's going to tell Alan how she feels as soon as he gets out. Later, Tracy walks into the den, sees Edward watching the TV. She turns it off. She goes to get water. Edward is wondering about the hostages. He knows Alan and Emily can't be the one who is injured that the people on TV keep talking about. Tracy wonders if it's Lulu. Edward doubts it. The girl thinks like Luke. Edward is hoping that Sonny got shot. Tracy sort of goes to "little girl" form, and is all, "Daddy, we always survive, don't we?" Tracy goes on to say if she (hypothetically) thought she knew who killed Rick Webber, she wouldn't take it outside the family, she wouldn't try to prove that said person was guilty, right? Edward's like, "Right. You would just blackmail said killer." Tracy: "Exactly!" They talk about the Quartermaine traits briefly, and that whatever happens, they must always present a united front. Edit: This was sort of strange scene, almost like Tracy knew something that we didn't. But she might have just been referring to Dillon's disloyalty. Elsewhere, Monica arrives at MetroCourt. She and Mac discuss their loved ones that are inside. Monica is like, "You're not getting rid of me." Inside, Alan is being released. He's supposed to get up and walk out on his own, but he can't. Craig has the attitude: "Too bad, so sad." Emily screams at him, and Craig allows 2 of the mercenaries (one of them is Jason) to help him out. They lead him out, right in front of the hotel. There's a sniper on the roof. The PCPD and the sniper start shooting. Alan clutches his chest, and he goes down in extremely slooooooooooooo-motion. Monica is horrified. Inside, Emily is continuing to scream, upset that they're shooting at her father. Monica is being held back by Mac and others. Luke and Lucky are off to the side in some booth thing, and they realize that Alan is having a heart attack. They yell at at the cops to stop shooting. Alan's still on the ground. Previews: Emily screams continuously. Craig or someone takes Nikolas. Monica might be screaming, and she's being held back by the PCPD. Luke and Lucky climb through the window to bring Alan to safety. No Tracy, but I'm assuming she and Edward will watch this on the TV tomorrow.

About applying the effects to only part of the clip...You use the button to the left of the camera button (in Windows Movie Maker). It splits the clip, and it allows you to apply different effects to the same clip. And special thanks to nex who was the one who showed me you can split clips in the first place. (I hope this makes sense!) Glad you loved it! And LOL about Oh, Baby. Hopefully, I'll get an update up soon. Maybe as a Valentine's Day present to show my LOVE!!!

*waves to knh* *hugs for MinervaFan* Wow. The last 2 days have been crap-tastic. I thought having Tracy on today would change that. I thought wrong. Boo. Hey, anyone wondering if something got cut, 'cause Tracy was supposed to realize Luke's true motivation for wanting to rescue Lulu (other than the fact that Lulu is his daughter). I don't believe that happened. Ms. Q on fashion: Not digging the hair today. Not at all. Oh well. Wardrobe is not bothering me yet. So, she's on tomorrow, right? With Scotty? And it's going to be longer than one scene. Gah. Stupid GH. Next week looks good for us, but the circumstances are HORRIBLE. Ugh. I'm tired of the same old, same old heroes too. I want Jason to get stuck in that air vent he's supposed to crawl though. THAT would be Must. See. TV. LOL! Kind of OT, I updated my Windows Media Player today. It's all "high-tech" in appearance, but I hate it. It's too different. Not to mention, I had issues with size (it was zoomed in to 100%, yet it looked like it was zoomed into 500%), and then the "File, View, Play, Tools, Help" menu wouldn't show up. Luckily, I got things figured out, but I still say bring back the old one!!!!

Tracy says he's in jail 'cause he stole a SWAT jacket and helmet, LOL. She was going to bail him out, but it's safer for him and the rest of PC if he stays there. (I love Tracy, LOL). Week of Feb. 19th: Luke decides it's time that he acts like a real father to his daughter. Tracy will hold Luke to his promise to be the father Lulu needs. His first challenge? Spinelli, Dillon and Milo wanting Lulu. Tracy is surprised that Luke doesn't want to interfere in Lulu's love life. Scotty questions Lulu about Laura's return. Tracy warns Lulu not to trust Scotty. Lulu has a feeling Scotty knows more than he's saying about Rick's murder. Yay! LuNacy spoilers! And if Tracy's warning Lulu not to trust Scotty, could LuNacy team up against him after all? And kind of unrelated, but this "promise" spoiler reminds me of last Feb. when Luke was going to make sure Tracy kept her promise. Now, it's the other way around... Crap spoiler: Thursday, 03/01 - Jason struggles with the guilt he feels about Alan. Um, Jason? Die. Please. You want to grieve? Fine. But it better be no longer than 2 minutes, and then the focus better be on the actual Quartermaines. The ones that loved Alan and treated him as FAMILY. Gah. I hate this. Oh, there's also a spoiler about Alan waking up and feeling bad about the choices he made with Jason. I can't remember if it was from a reliable source or not, but if true? UGH. And, we better get conscious good-byes with the Quartermaines that matter. Edit: Page 247!
