I've been meaning to respond to this. The Monica/Tracy scene might make it into a video, but your post gave me the idea of making a "The Worst of Tracy Quartermaine's Wardrobe" video. I'm being brave and watching live, and we're 5 minutes in, and I ALREADY have a problem with this episode... Ned, Tracy, and Dillon shared a scene...OFFSCREEN: Dillon told Lulu that he and Ned staged a squabble in an attempt to make things seem normal, I guess. Tracy walked in but caught on. But do we get to SEE this? Noooooooooo. Instead, Dillon needs a distraction...he needs a murder mystery to solve. Also, Lesley started crying in front of Lulu and delivered a pie to the Quartermaines...OFFSCREEN. Edited because I can't spell and because I wanted to add this... Wow. This place is getting a lot of action!!! (more than usual) I love it! angel! Good to "see" you again! Lainey, I hope that's her reason, but part of me believes there's more to it. Oh, hey! Anyone remember the spoiler that Tracy and Monica go off on Lulu for stealing Alan's PDA? I believe that was set for last week, so it looks like it was cut. I guess it's a good thing since I didn't like the idea of Tracy warning Lulu about Scotty one second and then reaming her out the next (even if she is kinda, sorta maybe a little to blame). I AM however angry (still) that we never got the scene of Tracy comforting Dillon that week. hooked, aww, I'm honored to be called a "Goddess." Heh. Glad you liked the videos. About the bashing...I'm afraid I have not been so innocent especially as of late. Remember this? I just watched from the beginning... Tracy gets to smack down Carly. Go, Tracy, go!!! Tracy and Ned's hug? Absolutely squee-worthy. Tracy and Monica are all kinds of awesome at the end. I was hoping for a hug, but I loved Jane and Leslie in that scene. BTW, Regency, I finally read "Upwards & Onwards." Awesome...very awesome. I loved the way you had Luke find out about Tracy at the end (this is my way of not giving away the story in case someone else hasn't read it). Haven't seen all of today's episode, but I did NOT like the part I did see... :angry: _ _ _ _ _ Luke enters Casa Quartermaine. Tracy: Where the hell have you been? Luke: I'm sorry, Tracy. I respected Alan so much. He always treated me so fairly. I should have been here, but SOMETHING ELSE CAME UP. Seriously?!? SERIOUSLY?!?!? You are an idiot! Idiot, idiot, idiot. And while I'm at it, could you MAYBE give her a hug?!? IDIOT! TIIC are idiots as well. You didn't even NEED dialogue. Just have Luke enter, see Tracy, and HUG her. This is not that difficult. As for the rest of their short conversation...Tracy knows that he's referring to Scotty, and Luke is interested in what she has to say. Tracy tells him about Scotty being in Lulu's hospital room. *shrugs* Something happened backstage in regards to LuNacy, 'cause there is no way a conversation about Scotty Baldwin should hold more importance than Alan Quartermaine's death. No way. This should have been BIG! Very, very BIG! Tracy's brother DIED!!! Tracy needs comfort. Her husband is just the person to do that. What happened to all the LuNacy build-up??? What happened to it??? Lainey!!! Don't watch. Or watch, and turn this into something positive. Oh, wait. MinervaFan, you're good at turning bad things into good ones. Luke tells her that Scotty is sliming around, and he has to figure this out; he leaves Tracy, who seems to be a combination of sad, scared, angry, etc. Monica comes down the stairs. This is the worst possible time for this, but Tracy has a favor. She wants Monica to not tell Luke about Lulu's investigation. Monica won't. She wasted enough time on Rick Webber instead of being with the man she really loved her. Tracy moves closer to Monica, takes her hand (I think), tells her that Alan knew she (Monica) loved him, and he loved her too very much. Monica thanks her. Shallow comments: JE needs to do something else with the hair. It was so much better yesterday. Hey, hair department: Give it oomph! Also, someone needs to direct Tracy to the fireplace, so she can burn her outfit.

Yay! The internet is BACK!!! OT, but I was the high school this morning at 6:45am (I got to grade stuff...SQUEE! Actually, I hate grading, but it's better than just sitting there and writing about what is happening; I like it better when I get to move around and help out...but whatever, grading is just fine; see Ms. Q rambles just as much here as she does in RL). ANYWAY...after I got done there, I headed home and decided I needed a short, short, short nap. Quick, not even 20 minutes. I cried. Spoilerish _ _ _ _ _ _ The last segment got to me. And I just cried. Tracy/Dillon at GH. Edward/Skye in the barely lit den. Monica in the empty foyer, hearing her and Alan's voices). If only a certain character didn't appear out of nowhere in the Quartermaine mansion at the last second, it would have been the perfect ending, but nooooooooooooo. But POSITIVITY!!!!!!!! Jane Elliot ROCKED! We're not the only ones who think so. The praise is all over the place!!! (as nex pointed out). She had 5 scenes total IIRC, although the dialogue did not come 'til Scene 4. 1) Continuation of yesterday (no dialogue, just complete shock) 2) Listening to Monica/Emily/Edward discuss what happened, and then walking away from everyone and everything; she's by the wall, not sure if she's looking at the wall itself or the ground; she's so "lost" here; it's sad. 3) Coming around from the corner; she's still "lost," her head is lower, Alice and Dillon come from the elevator. Dillon realizes that Alan is gone, "I'm sorry." 4) The scene that angel described about the pig-tails. Alan would tell her she looked like a poodle. Tracy would, in turn, tell him that he looks like a monkey...and smells like one too. Dillon and I both laughed here. Dillon tells her it was a good comeback. (OK...Getting teary-eyed again). Alan was the only other person who knew what it was like to grow up in that house (hmm, was Tracy NOT in boarding school a lot of time?). Dillon realizes how much Alan and Tracy loved each other. They did, but they never used that word. Alan always looked out for her (I might be remembing this wrong), and as angel mentioned, Tracy is scared to live without him. 5) And this is the scene that did me in!!! The sailing stuff. Ohhhhhhh! I won't repeat what angel posted, but right before telling him she loves him, Tracy calls him a "magnificent son." Now, can we get another scene like this with Ned?!? Please oh please!!! Also...The Scotty/Luke/"Laura" scenes spoiled did NOT air! (someone at GH is smart) Luke IS at General Hospital with Lulu, and while he ought to find his wife soon, at least he was not fighting with Scotty over his ex-wife. Finally, Tracy looks much too happy in those photos that take place the week of Alan's memorial. I know she's with Luke, but come on, Trace!!!! Edit: TOMORROW: (per SoapKing) Ned returns home and is reunited with his family. Old habits die hard as Tracy and Monica spar over Alan's funeral arrangements. Carly goes to the Quartermaines offering to allow Michael to attend Alan’s memorial. Luke and Scott go toe to toe when Luke finds him questioning Lesley about Laura. Luke warns Lulu not to trust Scott. Lulu shares her theory that Scott knows something about Rick Webber’s murder with Dillon. Lulu thinks it would be best if she didn’t tell Luke about her detective work. Tracy asks Monica not to mention Lulu’s mission to prove Laura’s innocence to Luke. Hey, Luke!!! Go find Tracy, you idiot! THURSDAY: (per SoapKing) Tracy tries to get Carly to help her convince Lulu to stop looking for Rick's killer. Oy. This does NOT sound good. Tracy looks very, very guilty. *shrugs* Well, my positivity was short-lived.

I have to get going, but very quickly, MinervaFan, loved, loved, loved your post, but comment... _ _ _ _ _ It seems as Luke is spending the episode at ShadyBrook with Scotty/Laura. I'm not sure how we're going to get Luke comforting Tracy. Unless...BEST. CASE. SCENARIO. Luke finds out about Alan's death while at ShadyBrook and leaves Laura to go be with Tracy. Also, MinervaFan, can you make these spoilers sound good? Per SoapKing: Tracy is lost without her brother. Me: My poor girl. Now, where is Luke? He needs to be there for her. I read more spoilers and find out that per SoapKing... (These are the spoilers I'm talking about)... Lulu doesn't know that Luke raped Laura. Scotty urges Elizabeth and Lucky to tell Lulu what happened in the past between her parents. Luke explains to Lulu that what he and Laura had was magic. Logan (Lulu's newest suitor) is no match for Luke. Scotty tries to get temporary (emergency) custody of Laura, and Luke beats him up. Luke is arrested. Me: WTH?!? Luke, go find your wife!!!! She needs you right now! *runs out of thread; I'm gonna be late, I'm gonna be late*

I watched out of order, but here's a recap of what I can remember... Quick comment: You'll get some Tracy dialogue, more than 30 seconds worth, but it's the facial expressions which are the best. _ _ _ _ _ _ Continuation from Friday: Doctors and nurses are working on Alan. Monica is letting Dr. Russell take over for the most part, while she's administering meds, that kind of thing. Emily is in the room, horrifed, and watching them work on her father. Edward and Tracy come rushing in. Tracy said he was fine an hour ago; he was talking to her. They want to know what happened. Tracy: I'm his sister! But, they have to go wait outside. Monica is relieved when they get him back. She walks outside. Tracy wants to know how Alan is. Dr. Russell pulls Monica to the side and warns her not to give Edward, Tracy, etc. false hope. In his opinion, Alan is dying, and Monica needs to let them know, so they can say good-bye. How long does he have? Dr. Russell is surprised Alan hasn't died yet; he must be holding one for something...someone. Monica: "He's waiting for our son." Ms. Q throws up. Cut to Jason. Tracy and Edward are standing outside. Tracy wants Edward to go sit and talk him through this, since Edward's been through this himself. Edward isn't sure if he can, but he goes in anyway. He enters, starts talking to Alan, and then starts talking to Lila. Asks if she can see how sick their son is. Alan always looked to her for love and guidance, never Edward. He recalls the time Alan smashed his fingers in the car door. He went straight past Edward and into Lila's sitting room, where she comforted him. Edward was just worried about the car. He calls himself (Edward) an old fool. Ms. Q is really crying here. Alan squeezes his hand. Edward gets excited and tells Monica and Tracy. Edward, Tracy, and Emily are watching from the outside. Monica gets a bedside scene with Alan. I don't remember details, but I think it's everything we heard, but rehashed. Monica walks out and tells the group that she's going to find another doctor. Edward and Tracy follow her. Emily gets a bedside with Alan. Meanwhile, Tracy is telling Monica that she is the best cardiac surgeon. Monica brings up the malpractice suit from years ago. She blames herself for what is happening. Tracy asks if Alan's condition would be different if Monica didn't operate. Monica doesn't know. Monica finally tells Edward and Tracy that Alan is dying. Edward doesn't want to hear it and walks away. Tracy's in denial, and Monica calls her on it. Edward goes to visit with Emily outside of Alan's room. Later, when Edward is gone, Jason finally makes it to Alan's room. Emily is waiting outside, forehead on the door (or part of the door), and is crying. It appears that Alan has died. Ms. Q gets tears in her eyes, and then she gets angry that Alan died OFFSCREEN and didn't get one final scene with his baby sis. Tracy is angry with Monica for telling Edward that his son is going to die. She still doesn't believe what Monica is saying. Edward returns, and he has decided to prepare for the worst. Tracy still doesn't believe what Monica is saying. Monica is almost surprised and says she doesn't realized how much Tracy liked her brother: "He is my brother. I have tortured him my entire life. I don't like him, Monica, I LOVE him!" Ms. Q gets tears in her eyes again. Emily joins the family, tears streaming down her face, almost shaking, "Mom." Monica quivers, "No, no, no. Not yet." Emily: "He's gone." Tracy's eyes open wide. Edward faces the ground. Emily and Monica hug. Cut to Jason, standing over Alan's body. Jason: "I'm sorry." Ms. Q is thisclose to tossing the TV out the window. Previews: Jason is still with Alan, talking about his regrets. Ms. Q turns off the TV in disgust.

Jason. Must. Die. Then all the Jason worshippers (which is about 4/5 of the cast) need to get amnesia and never EVER remember Jason and his "wonderfulness." But TOPIC: Tracy should be on, right? If she is, it better not be just one 30 second scene. And MinervaFan, aww, that was so sad. I do hope TIIC follow your lead, and that Alan's death will result in much LuNacy closeness.

There are also spoilers, Skye needs Ric's help (she needs his help to cover for Lorenzo after someone comes looking for him). Another spoiler (confirmed by Wizard): There is no investigation into Craig's death. There's stuff about Ric covering up Craig's death and Skye encouraging him to do so in order to protect Craig's connection with Lorenzo. So, now that we have a million and one possible spoilers...Someone at SoapDish guessed that Luke is stealing the file FOR Tracy, so Tracy can get her revenge on Skye. *pause* I swear this all made sense 15 minutes ago before I started thinking about it/typing it out, LOL. Thoughts???

Insider #1 Tracy and Scotty team up while Luke experiences a case of deja vu. Someone explain the deja vu thing to me. I know what it is, but what do Tracy/Scotty have to do with it? And what is Luke deja-vu'ing (yes, I made that up) about? Insider #2 Tracy goes after Skye (she holds her responsible for Alan's death, and Tracy will have Skye investigated). Tracy and Georgie agree on Dillon. Go, Tracy, go! And SQUEE on the Tracy/Georgie. Please be true! And please let it last more than their 2 second Xmas scene.

Lainey, thanks for posting! I've been meaning to bring that over, except I read the speculation from some posters at SoapDish and not here. Hmm...More than one person is thinking about this. Personally, if it's true, I don't see Tracy playing a big role. But you never know... Fingers crossed!

TracyLuv, I think I'm going to have to get clips of those scenes and rewatch 'cause I don't remember all that stuff. I decided to PhotoShop Tracy with Emily's hair (come on, you know I was going to, LOL). It doesn't even take 5 mins (and all the screencaps at Clarissa's site are tagged, so finding them is not hard; it's just finding one in which both characters are in a similar position). Anyway, if you have any requests, let me know! LOL. So...back to Tracy with Emily's hair...This too is a bit unproportional, but I figured it would suffice. I also re-did the Monica one (look at that face she's giving Jason, ha). And OOOH, SCARY!!!! (Wanna guess who's hair?) As I told you last night, I loved the Larry/Tracy hug, and I didn't tell you this, but I LOVE the Tracy/Paul scene. JE is soooo good. Adored Tracy/Scotty (aww, he cared about her so much) and Tracy/Lila as well. As I mentioned before, I do think it's funny that Lila was talking about Tracy being a grandmother, and here Tracy is, having a baby herself, LOL. And if you're serious about Tracy with Emily's hair, I can do it. It only takes a few minutes to photoshop.
