The ones that I'll be paying attention to immediately is that mother/daughter duo with the last name Thomas. They, and especially the mother, sound like trouble over the long-term. The mother being referred to as "not wrapped tight" is a very defining description, and certainly not in a good way.

The character "Stacy" is missing so far. Described as a successful real estate gal in a loveless marriage. She no longer loves or shares intimacy with her husband but she has lots of fun with other people, so to speak. Ahem! Where is she? Interestingly, the original character description stàted that her husband felt the same way. I remember sizing them up as Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith.

Yes. I may question a few things here and there but I think this is going to be an interesting ensemble overall. A chance to see some we know mixing with some we don't, or at least we're less familiar with. And yep, I still think Real Andrews is "Patrick". COME ON NOW!!!! 😂 And he's Patrick's and Anita's grandson IF I'm connecting the dots correctly.

It actually kind of does and it would be a very good outcome if true. Him playing a hotheaded bad boy on GH makes him very formidable. As Patrick Dupree, he could be the black Victor Newman, Roger Thorpe, or Adam Chandler. Oh, and I already think he would look great working alongside Miss Tamara Tunie.

Oh how I remember this, and how it was just so freakin plain. Lol. That being said, I don't stand opposed to faceless openings but make it interesting somehow. In BTG's case, show some interesting outdoor footage for the theme opening perhaps. And I stand firmly by jazzy/bluesy for the tune.

This works. This also reminds me of how primetime soap Knots Landing used to do it especially in its earlier years. Scenes of the show's actual episodes moving across the screen with the characters contained in the scenes. I would love the opening being something similar to either Guiding Light or Knots Landing with a posh jazzy/bluesy tune to go with it.

Looking forward to the tone/vibe that this show gives off. Old-fashioned soap? Something refreshingly new? Or both? In any event, I must reiterate a couple of things. Beyond The Gates is going to have come out swinging quickly if not immediately. It's also going to have to move at a generous pace at best. What worked in the past in terms of daytime soaps is not going to work now. I just don't believe it will. Today's audience isn't built for it. With that being said, VIVA LA BTG.
